I just called schwab and they said they still haven't heard when they will receive the new shares and they said it would be the same for all brokerages, so I think no one knows yet.

They SHOULD be able to short the stock for you if you want to sell now but you would need to call your broker to do it, and then buy back the shares before the sale settles so it might not be worth it? Not sure IMO
