I read a message on one of the boards I follow. I read the same message on another board too. Yet again, I encounter the same message. But the message is appropriate for each board where it's posted, and I'm sure those who only read it once benefit from seeing it.

I wish that there was a way that identical messages would be skipped automatically once one of them has been read.

This would be a beast to implement, both in coding and as a drain on resources, so I don't have much hope of seeing my wish come true. But it is my wish, and because this is the wishing thread, I've submitted it here.
