moxa, I know a bit about what I'm talking about. But again, you are letting your irrational hatred for O&G companies blind you to reality.

Oil and gas companies are never to blame for their mess, are they?

Toxic waste is always the ultimate responsibility of the generator of the waste. In the case of the ND renegade waste hauler, if he cant's be found or doesn't have the resource to clean up his mess, the oil company that generated the waste is ultimately responsible to clean it up and properly dispose of it.

I've given these examples before.

* Halliburton has paid $5 billion into the asbestos related illness fund. Halliburton never contributed a fiber of asbestos. In the mid 90s they bought Dresser Industries, a manufacturer of drilling tool. Dresser had a subsidiary that made brake shoes. When Halliburton bought Dresser asbestos wasn't disclosed as being part of Dresser's business. You can get some glee from knowing Halliburton suffered.

In 1981 my company was rolling in cash it had made during the O&G facilities construction boom . The Board decided to invest in basic metals. They bought the St Joe lead mining company. Right after they bought it the 182 recession hit and the mines were temporarily closed. While they were closed, lead pollution became a big deal. Fluor was out 100s of millions for pollution they had nothing to do with. As I recall Doe Run, St Joe's parent contributed to Fluor's huge bill.

So you see moxa, once again you are FOS with your irrational attacks of O& G companies.

You keep posting your O&G bullshit and I'll keep exposing you for what you are.
