Not sure I understand any difference. It's not an initial public offering, where pricing can change till the second it goes to market. A standard offering should stand price wise till closed. It's an offer to sell company stock. There is no bid/ask or give me a deal if I buy large to my knowledge. It's you want my car, pay my asking price and take it home. Beside the offering price is always discounted for market price.
