Not entirely true from my chair. Some of you folks continue to harp on Corp B for his position, some MUCH MORE than once.
I happen to agree with a lot of what he has to say. I have said MORE THAN ONCE, and I will say it again, that the management team is fairly well compensated before any options.
Having said that, I EXPECT guys making a quarter mil plus to do something other than just show up to earn the base salary.
The options bonuses shopuld be for that performance ABOVE AND BEYOND what is reasonably expected to earn that salary.
Every time there is a new licsensee, most here go hog nuts and, "WHOO HOOO, they sure earned their bonus and stock options today!" mentality prevails.
So, my real question is, What do you expect [EXPECT as is demand as normal] from these guys for this kind of regular salary? Don't bother responding. Unless, of course, you actually have some minimal performance standards or targets stratified to justify bonuses.
