They are manufacturing and implementing a system that is free...of course liabilities are up because the product is free.

This is akin to Paypal offering free hardware to accept credit cards. They give the hardware and software to the small business in exchange for fees on the back end when they process transactions. Student connect is implementing a system where hardware and software are added for free with the idea that advertisetrs will more than make up the cost opn the backend. For now, the company incurs much cost without any revenue but in the long run they make years of money through the system.
