Hi sts; yes, I see your point, when Generic Lovaza comes out then it will be a push for sure to try and switch branded Lovaza users and perhaps even Vascepa users. Doesn't Lovaza have an A-fib warning? I don't think it will be too difficult to justify Vascepa, since it doesn't raise my LDL-C, which I've explained to my care providers. Like anything new, you must continually remind your PCP and staff about Vascepa and it's benefits. I'm no doctor but, I've read enough on these boards to know when I hear the truth, I'm more determined than ever.

I had a "major" psychological event that came to a head the week of April 1st. That if I hadn't been taking Vascepa at the time, the event could have been much worse. I truly believe that V saved me from further harm. I'm okay now as my PCP prescribed some medication, I've backed off some now as I think I just needed that little extra boost in my Seratonin levels. I'm able to sleep through the night now without Xanax. I owe a lot to Vascepa. If you Google "Diets for Bipolar Depression", you will see that physicians recommend fish oil supplements. Well, I have feel I have the best in class supplement money can buy in Vascepa. I don't drink or smoke or go to Starbucks everyday so, I can afford my $120 co-pay for 360 capsules (90 day script) of Vascepa. I feel like the most interesting man in the world commercials when I say, "when I take any drugs I want it to be Vascepa" a couple Dos Equis woudln't be bad either....
