Okay so form 144 does not obligate him to sell only gives him the right to sell should he see fit. If the sale is complete we will then get a form 4 immediately after. Here is my take on it though. He has only paid himself 57k for 2013 and with all the work he has done he deserves some better pay. Not to mention he may need to pay taxes, protect his patent, a number of personal reasons he could need the money.
