Definitely agree with you there. So many meaningless stats or stats that're presented as having a meaning they really don't. Perhaps coffee-drinkers tend to be smokers, which isn't typically said to be good for one's health. Or maybe the higher level of caffeine in coffee shortens life rather than something in tea lengthening it. Maybe tea-drinkers tend to be more relaxed people in general, which is easier on the ticker. Maybe the time spent relaxing and allowing tea to steep gives relaxation not found dumping a few scoops of coffee grounds into a coffemaker. Personally, I think 93.17% of all stats are either useless or completely made up on the fly to support some point. <g>
