Following arrest on a Federal warrant, this is what happens to you.
He was arrested,on a Federal Warrant issued by a Federal Judge then he appeared befor a Federal Judge and told what he was charged with
He then had to list all his assests, bank accounts, real estate etc.
His passport will have to be surrendered.
Bail was set and he was released awaiting Federal Trial in
Six to nine months at least- Lawyers stall to build case.

If he skips assets put up for bail (probably the house)
will be attached by the court.
Next his lawyer examines the facts and tells him
they got him cold !
Now, To go to trial in FEDERAL COURT means -
You better be REALLY INNOCENT
because if found guilty you will get the MAXIMIUM SENTENCE
so
95 % choose to plead guilty and
Avoid the trial
and
Get a somewhat LIGHTER Sentence
Next
RESTITUTION:
Give back ALL the CASH you ROBBED
and your sentence will again be reduced CONSIDERABLY.
ALL assets obtained as a result of the crime are seized
and forfeited to pay Court Costs, fine, and for Restitution
to the victims (that is us)
They can figure out how much more cash is still missing.
He MAY come forward with more cash in a swiss Bank Account or buried in the back yard if he thinks it will cut that sentence

He may have been smirking in the Mugshot
but after pleading guilty and ready to face sentencing:

The RESTITUTION THING LOOKS REAL GOOD

READ THIS
My last crooked CEO:
I was in MRXT a few years ago, they arrested the CEO,
then another CEO was appointed and rousing PR's were issued.
then
In a short while, the 2nd CEO was arrested.
This month -
I received a notice from the Department of Justice
the first CEO Stephen Wise has been sentenced
and
$2,000,000+ in restitution will be divided shortly
between the shareholders.
Reason -Offering restitution can mean a reduced sentence.
Sounds like it might be a good move for Plant when the time comes - Cash becomes secondary when facing jail.
