WTM, I'll stick to my guns. Depending on which book you read written by a professional poker champion, the openers differ.
As I cipher through your post and it is quite analytical, I see where our numbers differ.
I use A-A as one opener and if I am correct you use them as 6 openers. Pairing up the different suites. And so on......
To each his own.
I could sit here and debate openers for every position on the table. But I won't.
Every player has his or her own style. We could sit here and debate hold'em for months and we'll probably disagree more than agree.
But thats the beauty of the game.
Since last August I went on a poker tournament tour (strictly playing hold'em) which took me through Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin. Entry fees, buy ins &add ons all different from site to site just like the opponents. I played in seven tourneys managing to make the final table twice. Never finished on top though.
So heres the beauty of the game. If you would of played my exact cards the outcome would of been different. And who is to say if it would of been for the better or worse.
Judging by your posts you are obviously aware of the finer points of playing a good game.
I wish you much success, more wins than losses.
