Krakatoa’s antimony-gold find signals major upside

Krakatoa Resources Ltd chairman Colin Locke talked with Proactive about the company’s newly secured Zopkhito Project in Georgia, which he described as a major opportunity for investors. The project contains a JORC resource of 225,000 tonnes of high-grade antimony at 11% for 26,000 tonnes of metal, translating to a back-of-the-envelope valuation of approximately $1.30 billion based on current prices. Additionally, the project includes 7.1 million tonnes grading 3.7g/t gold for 815,000 ounces, estimated to be worth around $2.50 billion. Locke said, “This is touted to be the sixth biggest antimony project in the world.” The mineralisation is close to surface, and the company believes the resource has strong potential for expansion. He also highlighted the project’s additional gold content as another value driver. He attributed the company’s success in securing the project to its CEO and chief technical officer, Mark Major, whose experience in high-altitude exploration was a key factor for the local vendors. The project’s location in Georgia was described as highly investor-friendly, with a 15% corporate tax rate, no native title or land access complications, and strong support for foreign investment. Locke confirmed that a maiden drilling program is scheduled to begin shortly, with Major heading to Georgia next week to prepare. He emphasised the company’s past success with international projects and reassured investors of the team’s experience. Inspired PLC CEO Mark Dickinson breaks down FY24 highlights, net zero strategy

Inspired PLC (AIM:INSE) chief executive Mark Dickinson takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's 2024 financial results, its ongoing mission to help clients reach net zero, and the outlook for 2025. Dickinson provided an overview of the group’s four complementary divisions: software, assurance, ESG, and optimisation. These work together to help Inspired’s B2B clients manage energy costs, comply with ESG reporting obligations, and implement real carbon reduction strategies. “The backdrop continues to be increasingly favourable for Inspired as we help those clients navigate their way through those challenges,” Dickinson said, citing continuing demand despite lower energy prices. FY24 was a year focused on strengthening the balance sheet. Dickinson said the company eliminated all contingent consideration liabilities, raised capital, and reduced net leverage from 2.59x to 1.47x adjusted EBITDA—giving the business a firmer platform for growth. The company’s non-financial KPIs also moved in a positive direction, with cross-selling increasing and more than 50% of optimisation clients returning for additional services. Inspired is now serving 420 clients with optimisation support. Looking ahead, Dickinson said trading in 2025 started in line with expectations, and the business is progressing well on previously delayed projects. He remains optimistic about the pipeline and demand drivers, particularly in energy conservation, ESG compliance, and net zero support. Candel Therapeutics shares positive survival data for investigational immunotherapy in NSCLC

Candel Therapeutics CEO Dr. Paul Peter Tak joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce final survival data from a Phase 2a clinical trial evaluating the company’s investigational immunotherapy in patients with stage III/IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had an inadequate response to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) treatment. The study reported a median overall survival (mOS) of 24.5 months in 46 evaluable patients who received two courses of the investigational therapy. In a subset of patients who had progressive disease at baseline despite ICI treatment, mOS was 21.5 months. Historically, similar patients receiving standard-of-care chemotherapy have had mOS between 9.8 and 11.8 months, with published studies rarely exceeding 12 months. With a median follow-up of 32.4 months, the data demonstrated long-term survival benefits, with 37% of patients who had progressive disease despite ICI therapy still alive two years after treatment. Based on these positive results, Candel Therapeutics will continue advancing the development program, including preparations for a potential registrational trial in patients with non-squamous histology NSCLC. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has previously granted Fast Track Designation for the investigational therapy in combination with an antiviral agent and ICI therapy for patients with stage III/IV NSCLC who are resistant to first-line PD-(L)1 inhibitors and do not have activating molecular driver mutations or have progressed on targeted therapy. Hillcrest launches ZVS technology evaluation with global Tier 1 automotive supplier
