Yes, but I feel so much richer with the share price sitting at .001. Oh the fond remembrance on .01.
Good to see some other old names still holding this bag with me. Actually I first got in to this stock by what you describe. I had some Grand Lux stock that turned in to a shell and was changed to WHKA. It will happen again eventually. But the first thing will be a reverse split, like 1000 to 1, at least that was what happened with the prior entity.
As of now this is just a dead zone. Good luck with anything else you get in to. Thankfully this was my only one that turned in to a real dog. Look at SRZ for a strong company with a turnaround play in the middle of the works.
what is up with all the volume today?
we already lost that. What else do we have to lose. No reason to sell for a tax loss at this point of the year. You never know what might come of the lawsuit or new season. I really am amazed they will take the ice again. I just wish it came with some stock play as well.
you are remembering over and others who went from pumper to dumper.
update from the web site:

We are all still holding on to the hope of a new season, revenues, and a law suit outcome. At this point what does anyone have to lose.
and they initially denied a lease last year. Terms were met and a lease was put in place. Same will happen again this year. They will have to pay up front and then the town has nothing to lose again. Nothing lost last year.
Well as you should know the council minutes are available online to search. Go to the Osoyoos town council site and search for World Hockey. The last minute note on them is from last year when they approved the ice time for the WHA. The newspaper is available online as well and the last article is from the end of the season. No sign of any article or council meeting stating the team will not be allowed back.
Who cares where the players come from as long as they pay to play. Revenues. The Euro is worth a lot more than the canadian doller. And last year we all heard the no play in Osoyoos mantra and where did they play? Osoyoos. So, until they play and no puck drops in Osoyoos I fully believe they will get in there again.
Looks like they now have a third international team affiliation agreement. In that information found here: http://whaeagles.blogspot.com
they talk about a long term plan being revelaed in August. Tryout camp information is also listed there. I also hold on to the wait and see attitude and expect them to plan in Osoyoos again.
And you have touted this over and over again and it looks like camps are being set up, 8 teams and two affiliates already on board and more to come. The stock is a mess since nothing is being done on that side of the business, but the league surviving provides the chance for the business side to take off. This league will be playing in 2008/09 despite what any poster may tell you.
Invitro - any thoughts on the recent goings on?
Looks like a TV deal and equipment distribution agreement are out there as well. Looks interesting from the outside. Would be nice to have a real press release to kick the PPS in the arse.
Lots of new updates both here: http://whaeagles.blogspot.com
as well as here: http://www.officialwha.com
This is all I could find and states clearly the team was current last season. No reason they would not be back.
You have any link to that story? I looked at the Osoyoos Times all the way back to the end of last season and nothing about what your post has to say. I have learned to believe it when I see it with this league. All the posts last year about not playing in Osoyoos were untrue and I expect to see them play again.
Well postings on a free blog do not give me a lot of confidence in the future, but at least it is a sign of life.

Well this is very interesting to see. I guess not enough shares have been sold to generate a press release or update the league web site.
Bored, quit paying attention to this for a break from the death spiral. Still circling the drain, just not totally sunk.
Good for him, someone is buying it as well. Takes two to trade.
Sorry, no real truth to your post. http://www.officialwha.com
Site works fined. What are you basing any "left the country" statements on? Still waiting on the forced bankruptcy you were touting as well.
Anyone on this board follow the GMHL and have any details on whether or not they plan on traveling to play in Oliver? Last I saw on that leagues website chat board the indication was that they would still honor that commitment. Anything recent has been focused on their own playoffs and crowning a champion.
I can not imagine that any litigation gets done complete in 2008. It will take a settlement, which means good results of mediation, to get this wrapped up this year.
I thank you all for the honor of electing me, or allowing me, or hell just putting up with me as your new moderator. I promise to rule with kindness, fairness, and a balanced view. I welcome all posts, good, bad, and ugly. Good luck to anyone still hanging around this place.
And I have recruited Invitro as an assistant. (well I sort of volunteered him.) Feel free to resign if you like.
Well never mind, I guess they accepted me as the moderator. Woo Hoo.
We have no moderator. Doh!!!
And since there is no way you could know this, I can only assume what answer I will get, but do you have anything to substantiate that claim with?
Look back a few posts. There was some recent development. Mysterymeat does a good job of posting anything that gets out on PACER.
Still waiting.
Thanks for this update. Good to know the case is still in the works.
For what it is worth the league crowned a champion. Congrats to the Oliver Jets. I hope they get to play the GMHL champion and put up a better fight than last years team did. So, to everyone who said it would never happen, well it did. Not that it means much since this is pretty much a worthless stock and might never have any new life. But then again, it just might. So far the league has survived and fought through everything that has happened. RS appears to not be in jail in South America and while abrieviated, the season 2 was completed. Good luck to those who stuck around with this and hope we see the off season PR machine kick in to high gear. Well any gear would be nice, LOL
Wow Invitro, some how you got a post deleted when no one is here anymore.
I am sure the people who allegedly forced this in to bankruptcy are the same ones who were going to stage a revolt and take over the company. LOL Anyways, champion soon to be crowned. Interleague game to be played against the GMHL and then on to the rumors and inuendo of the off season. Where tales of 20 teams and an east coast division will fuel the stock recovery. Well that was the dram I had last night anyways, LOL GLTA
See my previous post for your answer to this post.
