It was quite laughable.
Maybe the good start would end in a happy ending?!
Didn't take the guy down until he hit him with the gun.

‘We’re Taking This Seriously’: Adam Schiff is Paranoid Trump Will Throw Him in Prison
by Ben Kew Apr. 6, 2024 7:30 am
Pencil neck California Congressman Adam Schiff has said he is taking “seriously” the prospect that Donald Trump will put him in prison when he returns to the White House next January.
Speaking to The Los Angeles Times, Schiff expressed his fear that Trump would send him to prison, despite the fact that he would have no power to do so.
“We’re taking this seriously because we have to,” Schiff said. “We’ve seen this movie before … and how perilous it is to ignore what someone is saying when they say they want to be a dictator.”
Such fears are a response to recent comments by Trump, who said that Schiff and other members of the corrupt January 6th committee should be prosecuted and imprisoned.
A notorious conspiracy theorist, Schiff also shared his belief that the Supreme Court is seeking to defend Trump over the politically motivated prosecution related to the former president’s actions in the wake of the fraudulent 2020 presidential election.
“I’m fearful that the Supreme Court is deliberately slow-walking this,” Schiff said, complaining that the court should not be looking at Trump’s claim that he has presidential immunity against prosecution.
“The claim is borderline frivolous … they’re drawing it out just enough to make it almost infeasible to try [the cases] before the election,” he continued. “It’s still possible to get it done. And I think voters deserve to have that information.“
Schiff, who who will almost certainly replace Kamala Harris as his state’s senator after winning the California primary, is not the only California Congressman expressing fears that Trump will drop the hammer of justice against those involved in his persecution.
“If he intends to eliminate our constitutional system and start arresting his political enemies, I guess I would be on that list,” said Rep. Zoe Lofgren, who represents San Jose. “One thing I did learn on the committee is to pay attention and listen to what Trump says, because he means it.”

So, when liberal media outlets express shock over the likely imminent bloodshed on U.S. soil, remind them that Joe Biden rolled out the welcome mat for terrorists to enter through our southern border. Oh, and lest we forget, Obama gave billions of dollars to Iran to finance their heinous acts of mass murder and mayhem.
Iran's stern warning that the United States must "bear responsibility" for an Israeli airstrike on its consulate in Damascus, despite U.S. claims of non-involvement, marks a tense moment in international relations.
This incident, which resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military commanders, exacerbates already strained U.S.-Iran relations and highlights the complex geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East. Iran's vow for revenge introduces a precarious element to the situation, especially against the backdrop of concerns about sleeper terror cells within the U.S.
The presence of these cells, believed by many to be a consequence of lax border security policies, poses a significant domestic threat, potentially enabling Tehran to enact retaliation on American soil.
This scenario underscores the critical need for robust national security measures and a cautious approach to foreign policy, ensuring that the U.S. can effectively navigate the delicate balance of international diplomacy while safeguarding against internal threats.

California Sings the Economy Blues
People and businesses flee the Golden State in search of lower taxes and less crime.
by Kelli Ballard | Apr 6, 2024
The struggle is real in the Golden State. In February, the unemployment rate was 5.3%, the highest in the nation, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. California — the third biggest state after Alaska and Texas — has beaches, mountains, Silicon Valley, and Hollywood. So why is it suffering financially? The reasons are many — from taxes to crime.
California Economy Woes
“California job growth is struggling because of the state’s regulatory and tax policy,” Wayne Winegarden, senior fellow in business and economics at the Pacific Research Institute, told The Daily Caller. Will Swain, president of the California Policy Center, was of the same opinion, telling the outlet: “You can look at the unemployment numbers, and those really flag some severe underlying problems.” In the last year, jobs increased by only 82,000, most of which were government positions, according to the California Employment Development Department.
Winegarden added, “California overregulates business and underregulates public safety. And those two things may seem unrelated, but when you allow people to engage in organized theft from stores or break into cars, for instance, it reduces the ability of markets to function.”
In 2011, the state’s supreme court found that California prisons were overcrowded, which violated criminals’ Eighth Amendment rights against cruel and unusual punishment, AP explained. To combat this, voters approved Proposition 47 in 2014, which reduced some crimes from felonies to misdemeanors. This has affected businesses since thefts under $950 are only minor crimes instead of serious felonies, as they had been before. Not prosecuting thefts under this amount has emboldened crime rings, according to officials. While having fewer people incarcerated has saved $113 million this fiscal year, law enforcement said it has made it harder to prosecute shoplifters and, therefore, encourages more crime.
As a result, many retail companies have resorted to locking up products behind glass. And we’re not talking about just expensive watches and jewelry; everyday items such as deodorant are now under lock and key. Add the tax burdens and regulations, and it’s no wonder businesses are pulling up stakes and going elsewhere. California ranked fifth in 2020 for highest business taxes, around 13.5%, according to the Tax Foundation. Winegarden opined:
“Policies such as expensive energy mandates, restrictive zoning regulations, high taxes, rent control, and high minimum wages all increase the cost of doing business and decrease families’ purchasing power.
“The higher cost of doing business makes California firms less competitive nationally, which harms economic growth. The affordability problems make it harder for families to thrive, encourage families to leave the state, and discourage new families from migrating to California. All of these trends reinforce one another, harming the state’s vitality.”
The Daily Caller reported that the population dropped by around 538,000 from July 2020 to July 2023 as people moved to red states such as Florida and Texas.
When it comes to jobs, some may think it’s great that California has one of the highest minimum wages in the nation at $16 per hour, plus the new $20 per hour for fast food workers that went into effect April 1. But the economic reality hits hard for others – especially business owners. “We have a very finite set of economic conditions that need to be met for us to make money,” said Alex Johnson, owner of five Cinnabon and five Auntie Anne’s locations in San Francisco. “And certainly, this bill has cast doubt [as] to whether we can continue in this state.” He said he’s already started to invest in Nevada, “where there just isn’t so much regulation, there [aren’t] so many different types of people telling you how to run your business.”
As a result, layoffs are happening across the board, including in the tech sector. “The pandemic lockdowns here in California lasted far longer than they did elsewhere,” Swain told The Daily Caller. “And so the hit on retail, and particularly independently owned retail, has been disastrous – you know, small restaurants, independent stores. A lot of these have really struggled to come back. And the tech industry is now continuing to shed jobs.” In the Bay Area, tech companies cut more than 36,000 jobs from 2022 to 2024.
And then there’s the budget. California is looking at an estimated (and record) $73 billion deficit for fiscal year 2024, according to the state’s Legislative Analyst’s Office. This is partially due to a drop in income as people leave the Golden State, “with 27,000 tax filers with adjusted gross incomes of over $200,000 having moved out between 2020 and 2021,” The Caller enlightened.
Homelessness is aother big problem, especially in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the latter reporting more than 65,000 people on the streets in December last year. The state has already spent around $30 billion on the problem since Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom took office in 2019. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development released a report showing there has been more than a 30% hike in homeless people in California since 2007.
With businesses leaving, homelessness out of control, a record-high budget deficit, and crime escalating, it’s no wonder Californians are fleeing in search of greener pastures.

The Biden loving minions cannot defend any of these items!
11 ways Biden and his handlers are hell-bent on destroying America
The path to civilizational destruction should be very familiar by now

The Biden administration is 'assaulting the very mechanisms and protocols we use to live': Victor Davis Hanson
Why are those controlling President Biden using him to advance so much of a destructive agenda that it will likely end America as we know it?
If someone wished to destroy America, could he do anything more catastrophic than what we currently see and hear each day?
What would an existential enemy do that we have not already done to ourselves?
Here are 11 now familiar steps to civilizational destruction:
1. Wipe out a 2,000-mile border.
Allow 10 million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let in toxic drugs that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support to those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.
2. Run up $35 trillion in national debt.
Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and
3. Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China.
Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without adequate response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Make amends to leftist governments for supposedly past toxic American international behavior. Follow the lead of international agencies like the U.N., ICC and WHO to atone for past American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.
4. In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation.
Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Reboot all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion and commendation.
5. Recalibrate violent crime as understandable, cry-of-the-heart expressions of social justice.
Ensure no bail and same-day release for arrested, repeat violent felons. Empathize with the violent killer and rapist; ignore their victims, especially if they are slain police officers.
6. Emasculate the military by using non-meritocratic standards of race, gender, and sexual orientation to determine promotion and commendation.
Deliberately impugn as racists and insurrectionists the largest demographic in the military who in recent wars died at twice their numbers in the population — so that they leave or never join the military. Encourage retired high officers to slander their commander-in-chief. Cut the defense budget. Stop producing sufficient weapons, but leave billions of dollars’ worth of arms to terrorists.
7. Reinvent the justice system to indict, bankrupt, convict, jail and eliminate political opponents.
Use ballot removal, impeachment, civil suits, and state and federal indictments rather than elections to defeat an opponent. Mob the homes of non-compliant Supreme Court justices, and attack them personally by name.
8. Encourage the fusion of the bureaucratic state with the electronic media to form a powerful force for political audit, surveillance, censorship and coercion.
Marry the FBI to Silicon Valley and hire its contractors to warp the news and hound supposed enemies of the people.
9. Make war on affordable gasoline and natural gas.
Substitute inefficient, unreliable and expensive wind and solar power, even as energy prices nearly bankrupt the middle class.
10. Marry late, but preferably not at all.
Consider males toxic, especially boys. Have no children, or as few as possible. Otherwise, assure children they are entitled, and must be sheltered. Raise them to have grievances against past generations and current norms.
Victor Davis Hanson: Biden has had the most 'remarkable meltdown' of any president we've seen in modern era Video
11. Turn world-class universities into indoctrination centers.
Suspend the Bill of Rights on campuses. Train youth to graduate despising their own culture and civilization. Recruit foreign students from hostile nations to subsidize campus commissar bloat. Replace the curriculum with therapeutic propaganda. Ban the SAT/ACT and do not evaluate comparative high school GPAs. Ensure merit does not select the student body. Charge tuition higher than the rate of inflation. Bill the government when students default on their loans.
Why could those controlling the president be doing all of the above?
1. They are delusional and think their socialist and globalist agendas are working and will save us.
2. They are raging nihilists who do not like the U.S. and deliberately want it destroyed as a service to the world. A ruined U.S. is preferable to a strong America.
3. They are Jacobin revolutionaries who are intentionally erasing the old United States as a prerequisite for creating an entirely new America that will arise from the ashes with no trace or even memory of its past.
4. They have no agenda. They are aimless fools and utter incompetents. These bunglers just wing it day-to-day, in response to what their radical media, academic and political masters dictate is necessary for them to retain power. They have no idea of the damage they are doing.
5. A bit of 1-3, but probably not 4.
There is cause for hope among this nihilist remaking of America: the people are fed up and will demand an accounting in the fall.

Biden Has a Plan to Block Trump’s Schedule F – But Will It Work?
The administration that lives by the pen dies by the pen.
by James Fite | Apr 6, 2024
The Biden administration has been working on a plan to block Donald Trump from draining the Swamp should he win come Election Day. But there’s just one critical flaw: Executive branch policies established by one president can be erased by the next. Just as Biden was able to stop Trump’s Schedule F from the very beginning of his presidency, so too can Trump reinstate it if he becomes president once again.
Changing the Rules
Trump’s 2020 Schedule F executive order created a new category of federal employees in policy-related positions that serves at the pleasure of the president – which, of course, makes them much easier to fire and replace.
The Office of Personnel Management issued a new rule to more narrowly define the positions that could fall under Schedule F, should Trump win re-election this November, to form a kind of paper dam to stop a second-term Trump from making good on his promise to drain the Swamp. “We are confident that our final rule is the best reading of civil service statutes and is grounded in the civil service in the statutory language, congressional intent, legislative history and decades of applicable case law and practice,” OPM Deputy Director Rob Shriver told the press. “The rule is strong, it will help to ensure the rights employees earned as envisioned by Congress when it enacted the Civil Service Reform Act in 1978 and expanded and strengthened those protections through subsequent enactments.”
Like any executive branch regulation, however, it can be undone by future administrations – and team Biden knows that. With this new rule, however, any future president who hopes to revive Schedule F or something like it would have to put in the time and effort to follow the rule-making process that created this regulation to remove it, and that would certainly slow any attempt to drain the Swamp. Slow it, but not stop it.
The Fear of Schedule F – or Just Trump in General?
Why worry about Schedule F if Biden has already killed it? Though the administration’s new plan is ostensibly aimed at any future president, it’s clear the real concern is Donald Trump and the promised return of Schedule F.
As Liberty Nation’s Tim Donner wrote last year, “Schedule F would trim the dead weight and gristle from a ridiculously oversized and overreaching bureaucracy with the hidden power to ignore or even reverse presidential initiatives. What defines the civil service and its more than two million civilian employees in the eyes of so many Americans is its permanence, the fact that it is almost impossible to fire such taxpayer-funded employees. Trump plans to change all that.”
American taxpayers are on the hook for more than $200 billion a year in civil service payroll and benefits. It’s easy to see the appeal of enabling Trump to more effectively drain the Swamp of any alleged public servants should they fail in their duty to the people.
Of course, as Mr. Donner also pointed out, there’s a downside as well. While a president dedicated to liberty and a small government could do a lot of good here, another could do considerable damage by rebuilding a “civil service” monstrosity that makes America long for the days of the current deep state.
What the Biden administration’s latest action really demonstrates is the fear of Trump winning the White House in November. Election Day approaches, and the current president isn’t faring so well in the polls. In 2020, the Biden campaign wanted America to see Trump as a destroyer – a reckless radical who, through unconstitutional and authoritarian practices, did great damage to our once great nation. They want the same again in 2024, but now they have the reality of Joe Biden’s first term as president to contend with. The coming election will be a nationwide reckoning, an answer to which presidency harmed or helped America – and this new rule is just another way for our unsure incumbent to hedge his bet.

Good morning Al. Some of those Biden voters can't defend his actions or give examples of the of all the great things Joe has done during his 50 plus years of working for the government.... (without using Trump or past administration)!!

If your situational awareness is well-tuned, you can put together a political weather report from the swirl of events that otherwise seem to confound the degenerate simps who pretend to report the news. Events are tending in the direction of self-reinforcing, ramifying chaos, and the people running the show are obviously insane as they do everything possible to hurry chaos along.
Case in point: Antony Blinken, our Secretary of State, who announced yesterday that Ukraine will get rushed into NATO ASAP. Do you understand that would mean a direct, automatic, peremptory declaration of war against Russia, requiring all of NATO — that is, their combined militaries — to go kinetic inside Ukraine and theoretically inside Russia, too, (a move that has not worked out well for anyone in all of history), because Article Five of the NATO charter states that an armed attack against one is an attack against all, and must be answered with counter-attack? Thus, you see, Mr. Blinken just announced World War Three.

Thus, you see, Mr. Blinken just announced World War Three.

Chicago alderman’s ‘cancel DNC’ calls in front of burnt American flag spark criticism after veteran’s fiery protest
Story by Jake Sheridan, Chicago Tribune • 1w •
1968 revisited???
CHICAGO — The charred white stars and blackened, red stripes were all that remained of a burnt American flag on the sidewalk as Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez, 25th, spoke Friday evening during a protest outside City Hall.
The fact Sigcho-Lopez — a progressive ally of Mayor Brandon Johnson who has called for the Democratic National Convention in Chicago to be canceled and criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of the war between Israel and Hamas — attended the rally wasn’t much of a surprise.
But his appearance with the scorched flag that protesters said was once flown during a military tour in Afghanistan by a veteran who burned it Friday to protest Biden’s handling of the war in Gaza has since incensed several of the alderman’s council colleagues. When pictures of Sigcho-Lopez speaking in front of the charred flag were spotted online, several aldermen harshly criticized him on social media over the weekend and have since said they may even consider a council censure vote.
Sigcho-Lopez “is anti-American and divisive as can be,” Ald. Scott Waguespack wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter, Saturday. “While burning and desecrating our country’s flag is not illegal, it is his right to be despicable and on par for him.”
But since the weekend flap, Sigcho-Lopez has said he wasn’t at the protest when the flag was burned and he’s panned his critics as “reactionary voices.” Social media posts that suggested he burned the flag himself are “misinformation,” he said.
“Nothing could be further from the truth,” Sigcho-Lopez said Monday following an unrelated news conference in Pilsen.
Video footage of the Gaza-focused rally outside City Hall shows a man setting fire to the American flag and, later, military medals. Protesters also called for the Democratic National Convention to be canceled. Sigcho-Lopez does not appear in those videos.
The man who burned the flag, later identified by the protest’s organizers as Zachary Kam, said he flew it while on tour as a Marine in Afghanistan.
“Let it burn, because whatever values it might have stood for before are clearly absent from those who run this country,” he told the crowd as flames reduced the flag to threads and ash.
Earlier this week, Sigcho-Lopez read a statement he attributed to Kam. The outspoken alderman, who has marked his support for Gazans in past council meetings, joined the protest to criticize the Democratic Party’s failure to take a clear stance calling on the federal government to do more to support efforts by Chicago and other cities to deal with the ongoing migrant crisis.
He also echoed calls for the city to cancel the Democratic National Convention, citing the potential it has to heighten Chicago’s migrant crisis if Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ramps up migrant busloads.
“I wasn’t aware that this had happened before I was there,” Sigcho-Lopez said of the flag burning, despite the fact that the burnt flag can be seen in photos from the rally resting just feet in front of him as he spoke. “I hope that we have the same eagerness to condemn genocide, to condemn the lack of support to immigrant communities.”
When asked if he supported the flag burning, the alderman avoided criticizing the veteran’s act and said he did not know the protest’s organizers had approved the burning.
“This is his First Amendment right. Some of my colleagues were questioning the First Amendment right,” he said. “I wasn’t there. I wasn’t a witness of it.”
Ald. Gilbert Villegas, 36th, a Marine combat veteran, said that even though flag burning is legal, the actions taken Friday weren’t right.
“He has the right to do that, but we also have the right to question and critique folks who do that ourselves,” Villegas said.
Sigcho-Lopez should have been more aware of where he was speaking and be willing to apologize afterward, Villegas said. He also should not actively oppose the DNC, which the vast majority of aldermen are excited about and view as an opportunity to show off Chicago to national and international visitors and viewers on television, Villegas added.
“He’s an elected official in the United States of America. We are held to higher standards,” Villegas said.
Sigcho-Lopez and Villegas spoke after Villegas publicly criticized Sigcho-Lopez on social media, Villegas said, but the conversation ended quickly after their disagreements continued.
Marine and Army National Guard veteran Ald. Chris Taliaferro, 29th, said he was in “disbelief” when he saw the images of the flag smoldering in front of City Hall. He wants to hear Sigcho-Lopez explain what happened and is considering pushing for a special full City Council meeting and a censure vote, he said.
Aldermen came close to censuring Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa, 35th, in November after Ramirez-Rosa was accused of bullying and threatening colleagues while he was chairman of the council’s Zoning Committee. The controversy caused Ramirez-Rosa to lose his chairmanship but Johnson cast the tie-breaking vote to save Ramirez-Rosa, a close ally, from the symbolic dishonor.
“It flies in the face of those that have served this country and defended this country under a flag that stands for democracy and freedom,” Taliaferro said. “I respect the way he advocates for his community and for people in the city, but sometimes things can be taken too far.”

It would make sense but then the trannies wouldn't have patsies to defeat.
Democrats Warn Parents To Quickly Transition Their Kids Before They Grow Out Of It
WASHINGTON, D.C. — On the heels of a new study regarding young people with gender dysphoria, Democrats issued a warning to parents to transition their kids quickly before they grow out of it.
The new study, which revealed a large percentage of young people with gender dysphoria eventually come to accept their actual gender, has created a new sense of urgency within the Biden administration to make sure parents take action now so that as many children can be transitioned as possible before it's too late.
"Chop ‘em up now, folks," Biden said in a statement to American parents. "Let me be clear. There is no time to waste. If you don't transition your kids now, you run the risk of having them grow out of their gender dysphoria and maturing into healthy, mentally stable adults who aren't confused about their gender. Don't wait. Get them to one of those weird doctors. Swap out their privates. Get it done. End of speech. Walk away."
Democrat leaders disclosed that the party will continue to pressure parents across the country to transition their kids as early as possible so the country can hit its yearly quota for mutilated children. "It's important to keep hitting our numbers," Senator Chuck Schumer said. "If we want to stay on track to wipe out an entire generation of Americans, we need parents to stay on top of having their kids irreversibly butchered."
At publishing time, the Biden administration was preparing to launch a special Trans Child Task Force that would go door-to-door across the country transitioning kids at their homes.

he National Organization for Women (NOW) no longer supports women, several people declared after a controversial social media post.
NOW responded to the news of former and current college athletes filing a lawsuit against the NCAA, accusing it of violating their Title IX rights by allowing transgender swimmer Lia Thomas to compete in the women’s championship back in 2022.
According to the women’s rights group, actions like these were the work of "White supremacist patriarchy," rather than a concern for equality.
"Repeat after us: Weaponizing womenhood against other women is white supremacist patriarchy at work. Making people believe there isn't enough space for trans women in sports is white supremacist patriarchy at work," the post read.
This response faced swift backlash, particularly for women athletes advocate Riley Gaines, who helped file the lawsuit.
"I've never seen so many oppression buzzwords in one sentence. Apparently, advocating for fair sport makes me a white supremacist. I wonder if my attorney will agree. The Bloodbath
By Warren Beatty
Joe Biden and the Democrats, hypocrites all, must take Trump’s remarks out of context, must turn his remarks about every subject on which he speaks into lies. Otherwise, they will have nothing to spew to their base.
First we had Trump’s “bloodbath” remark about what will happen to the U.S. auto industry if Biden gets re-elected. The MSM, particularly MSNBC, Politico, and The New Republic, jumped on the remark. MSNBC’s Norman Eisen, former impeachment counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, and Ruth Ben-Ghiat wrote, “We agree with those who think that he was not just talking about cars. Trump was implicitly threatening the nation with violence.”
Later in the article, Eisen and Ben-Ghiat provide selected context for the remark, then use hopelessly twisted logic to make their point: “Perhaps the initial reference is to the car business, but he leaves out the word ‘industry’ in the first, fragmentary description of the ‘bloodbath,’ so the audience can fill in the larger consequences for the whole. Then he invokes previous warnings of apocalyptic outcomes for America, such as terrorist attacks. The implication is clear: challenges for the car industry will ‘be the least of’ the country’s problems ‘if I don’t get elected.’” Clearly, their interpretation — accurate context be damned.
The New Republic’s Michael Tomasky wrote an article entitled “‘Bloodbath’-Gate: Yes, Trump Meant the Auto Industry. At First, Anyway.” In the article, Tomasky provides his own context: “it’s a reasonable guess[.]” But Tomasky can’t stop himself there. He has to throw this in: “in fact, that’s just typical Trump bluster — built as usual on lies.” After twisting the accurate context, he proceeds to provide his interpretation of a picture he created.
Former House speaker Nancy Pelosi provided her interpretation of the remark: “What does that mean — he’s going to exact a bloodbath? There’s something wrong here. ... How much more do they have to see from him to understand that this isn’t what our country is about?” Again, accurate context be damned.
Politico reporter Myah Warb also weighed in with her interpretation: “in the speech, he [Trump] was talking about the auto industry and the potential for economic losses against China. That’s a fair point. But we’d note he also said, ‘That’s going to be the least of it,’ suggesting a wider lens than simply autos.” Note how Warb couldn’t stop herself after “fair point.”
We then got Trump’s own “Bloodbath” response. He said that the southern border crisis is Biden’s “Bloodbath.” In Grand Rapids, Mich., standing behind a placard with the words “Stop Biden’s Border Bloodbath,” Trump said, “I stand before you today to declare that Joe Biden’s border bloodbath — and that’s what it is. It’s a bloodbath. They [Biden and Democrats] tried to use that term incorrectly on me two weeks ago. You know, it’s all about misinformation. But it’s a border bloodbath, and it’s destroying our country, and it’s a very bad thing happening. It’s going to end on the day that I take office.”
Trump nailed it. Biden and Democrats create misinformation by taking his remarks out of context.
Now we get this: Peter Doocy, Fox News correspondent, asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre: “So when Donald Trump is talking about a ‘bloodbath,’ it is ‘violent rhetoric.’ What was it when Joe Biden said in 2020, ‘What we can’t let happen is let this primary become a ‘negative bloodbath’?”
Doocy repeated the question several times, though an obviously flustered Jean-Pierre never directly answered it. She twice called the question “disingenuous” to ask and suggested that “context” was needed. Her suggestion is ironic, given that Biden and the Democrats often take Trump’s remarks out of context.
Regarding his “Bloodbath” remark, Biden told a group of Democrat donors in Bethesda, Md. in 2020, “What we can’t let happen is let this primary become a negative bloodbath.” Biden was speaking about his fight with Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and how it should not become the basis for losing the election. Giulia Carbonaro of MSN wrote that “Biden’s 2020 remark has been taken out of context by Trump supporters.”
She also wrote, “While several Republicans, including Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence, have defended the former president’s remarks saying he was clearly referring to the U.S. car industry, some saw the comments as a threat of another January 6.” Amazing, isn’t it, how she could castigate one remark and defend an identical remark in the same article?
Another example is Trump’s remark about Social Security cuts. He suggested that cuts could be made to the programs when asked how the U.S. could cut spending and his outlook on handling entitlements like Social Security and Medicare benefits. Again, the Biden Bunch took his remark out of context and lied about what he really said.
About context, Sister Toldjah of RedState wrote, “In one sense, KJP is right — context is important. But in the context of how the Democrats and the media refer to things Donald Trump says, they don’t give a royal rip about context, which is one big reason why trust in the media is at all time lows, something that is unlikely to change anytime soon.”
Speaking of context, or lack of same, consider how Eisan and Ben-Ghiat finished. “Thanks to the meticulous analysis and documentation by the Jan. 6 Committee, we can use Trump’s rhetoric about Jan. 6 as a case study. His infamous statement on Twitter inviting his followers to come to D.C. for Jan. 6 — ‘will be wild’ — was vague where it needed to be, but also specific to the cause of saving him from an unjust fate that endangered America. Telling his followers that ‘if you don’t fight like hell, you won’t have a country anymore’ links fighting for Trump to saving themselves from apocalypse.” They continued, “Trump’s 2024 campaign builds on these narratives in conjuring threats to the nation, and introducing violence as a solution. His repeated declarations along the lines of ‘they’re not going after me, they’re going after you’ are in this vein. So is his identification of the enemies who are threatening Americans and all that they hold dear.”
I guess we are supposed to deem their interpretation correct. They provided not one shred of context (or facts) to permit evaluation of their offerings. They relied upon the Jan. 6 Committee to provide context for Trump’s words.
There are two bottom lines.
First, Joe Biden and the Democrats, hypocrites all, must take Trump’s remarks out of context, must turn his remarks about every subject on which he speaks into lies. Otherwise, they will have nothing to spew to their base.
Second, the American public, particularly Biden’s base of voters, who normally accept his lies without any evaluation, are waking up to the “out of context” tricks and lies he usually depends upon to secure votes.
