I did a search on "alcar chemicals group" on Yahoo and the fourth article down mentioned an action against Birman and ACG. The Division found that ACG never registered any securities with the SEC. I don't understand how these traded without going thru the proper procedures. Interesting that Steve would show up now....maybe he's trying to clear his conscience.
Thanks for all the work you are and have done concerning ACMG. I agree with the fraud and it should be stopped by the SEC !!! I don't care if they have to hired 1000 extra people to scan news concerning stocks and follow up work. A simple call over to the patent office would have taken care of that fraud. A call to AC asking where he picked up his PHD would have taken care of that fraud. A call to M Abbas Terki and another to the US Embassy would probably have taken care of that fraud. A call from an investigative body to Genivar would have taken .....I sold 50K shares at the end of July to take a tax loss. Still have 750K.
I know what you are saying. One thing I sort of remember when talking to Stockpatrol is something about going to court and the company or it's officers usually don't show. Thus, he wins by default. Since the SEC has Birman/Alcar tied together maybe he has to address our rights/ownership. Just a thought .....and if he ever went to court against ACMG we'd need representation. Would it be wishful thinking to think Corp. Restructuring would offer us .02 per share ? Maybe I'll email him and ask....GLTA P.S. 20 million shares at .02 is only 400K.
Someone posted a statement from their broker, who said usually this situation (halted) is tied to some reorganization. "If" ....this is happening (which I don't think it is) in my opinion it would probably lead to RK (Stockpatrol-message35924) and his company, Corporate Restructuring. I only wanted to bring his name back into the mix. In no way do I think Alex Cavasin has come back. ACMG is dead. RK was working to salvage the shell as an officer of Birman. I don't know how we as shareholders of ACMG fit into the picture. I did see where there was a decrease in shares of Birman 1 for 1000 in Oct. 2005. One has to wonder how many shares of Birman exist and what's in it for Corporate Restructuring ? Crypt probably has a much better handle on what Cor. Restructuring, ACMG shareholder's claim to Birman's shell (if any) and the course that will unfold in the months ahead. GLTA
If there's any "reorganization" going on it's probably tied to the fellow (RK), who is trying to savage the shell. Birman gave him the power to restructure this POS. He runs Corporate Restructuring out of Utah and, in his opinion, this was a hijacked job. He seems very knowledgeable and might understand how the SEC totally screwed this up at the time of the hijack. I wish we could sue them for dropping the ball....any negative thing about ACMG would have kept many people away in the beginning. When I first came across ACMG at .04 I said to myself NO WAY. Only to come back 4 months later with all the interest, high volumne and PR'S and buy. GL
Thanks for letting us know what JR had to say about AC. I emailed JR about Alcar, but never got a reply. I thought JR was a straight shooter and would give his impressions/evaluation/anaylsis on AC/Alcar. I'm so disappointed in the regulatory bodies for not following through and arresting Alexander Cavasin for fraud.....it's just not right !!!
Maybe AC is buying "his" shares back....NOT. I'm sure all of us now know our fate. I have 100 K shares that I think I'll unload this year (pretty soon) for the tax loss. All the other shares will just die in my retirement acct. With the price of the stock so low I think the SEC or OSC should tell us what's going on with their investigation. Hell, it's not going to hurt this stock that much. It can't go below zero ! With their connections they could let us know if he ever applied for the patents ....they could let us know what kind of connections he had with Genivar(sp?)....the plant in three rivers....trace his credit cards and put some serious pressure on C. Kinney. Oh well, I'm dreaming ....nothing's going to happen. Take care
Hi Chuck---Yes he existed. His bosses at Pyrogensis .....one even said he had good skills, but in my opinion he didn't have a "complete" product. I think as time went by he realized it just wasn't going to work for him. His product was flawed and his business set-up was bogus. What else ....sell all the stock you can and run !!!!
Sorry bcl999 I read your post---Some here lost ...must have had the wrong glasses on !
your numbers should be a lot larger ....there are a few that claim to have over a million with a substanial money loss. I own 800 k and am down almost 4 times your number. We were taken by a very devious man. One can look, but will not find anything about a patent for Cavasin or Alcar. It's been over 18 months and something should show up ....maybe it was rejected or maybe it never happened !
I don't believe Dr. Birman is involved with Hackerproof....kinda blows my mind that someone would "hijack" a shell and call the new company Hackerproof. Why not go all the way and name it Hijacker LTD. As to whether AC was a victim or a willing participant we'll probably never know. I hope someone goes to jail for this and I'm thinking a Canadian affiliated with Midland....
That probably be me. My name is a little different than you remember, but close enough. I'm basically an average joe who invested in this company and has lost quite a bit of money. I normally don't email people or call people. Others on this board are much better at that kind of thing than I. Three times I have emailed individuals concerning ACMG and to my surprise got answers all three times. Don't think some of the people on the board liked what I reported a couple of times, but I believed in what I received and in what I wrote. That be it.....GLTA
Who the hell is watching the hen house ? You have a company that goes bankrupt(Birman) in 2001, which should mean it is dead in the water. But in 2005 another company, Hackerproof Ltd., takes over Birman Managed Care changing said name to Hackerproof Ltd. in Oct. 2005. Within 6 months Hackerproof becomes Alcar Chemicals. What does the SEC do ???? Do they just rubber stamp these deals without any investigation. I don't even want to mention what I think of AC. Folks, we've been had. I truely believe Congress should fund more to the SEC and require them to clean up Wall Street. It's too whacked out .....A bankrupted companys' shell should never have been used and the SEC should have prevented it ! If I remember correctly, when the "exchange" happened between Hacker and Alcar good ole AC made some statements about the growth of the company without the typical "we believe, we expect, we should". You can read some of this at Qualitystocks.net. Like Crypt wrote HKPF is the symbol for Hackerproof. It's wierd that Alcar Technologies still has a web site, even though it appears to be all advertizing.
Thanks for starting the ball rolling with the FBI and hope "bagholders" step forward to join this cause or is it too late ? I have submitted my info to "Keeper" and look forward to the continuing drama.....I will file a complaint with the agency listed. Thanks
It's interesting that is available and I'm sure there's people out there that want to "get even" with AC. But what would keep him from sending a lawyer as his proxy ? I hope he understands what he has done has hurt many people and the anxiety he has created has undermined many people's peace of mind. He might have been a dreamer and a guy that didn't believe in fluff public relations, but he had to know what he was putting out there on the airways was wrong and was never going to happen. Some day the SEC will get around to Alexander P. Cavasin and he will go to jail.....
This Alex Cavasin didn't have anything....but dreams. I really wonder if A-M Polymers actually had a working relationship with Alcar. They supposedly bought polymers from Alcar for 6 years and bought the "old" equiupment when Alcar changed direction. I know I based my purchase of this stock almost solely on the fact that they had signed a contract for $32 million per year and that they had an astonishing tech. which I thought they would be able develope. I do believe Alcar pursued BHL and not the other way around. I think BHL probably thought Alcar was premature in marketing their product (since they didn't have one). Still looking around freshpatents.com, but I'm just wasting my time. I don't think Alcar ever got very far with their patent application. GLTA
Hi Kaz, I looked at BHL the other day. Besides using the bygasse (or whatever) to create energy for their process, they have also started making a fibre board out of the left-over material to be used in construction. So they do utilize the thousands of tons of materials they generate dailey. Maybe they still have "room" for a little ethanol production?
Just got back from Googling ACMG to see what's available for viewing. Wish I had come across marketmillionaires.com before I had thrown money at this company. There was talk in the early part of '06 about the possibility of this being a scam and who CLD was and their calculating ACMG'S tech. at $86 million. The guy thought that CLD was a Canadian Government's program, but there was never a follow-up. Oh well, I just wanted to see if some of the old PR'S were there and they are(just takes awhile to get through everything). Besides losing money on this company I sure have spent a lot of time on it. Sadly, most of it after I had bought shares.
Hi Swizzer13, just tried to go to the website for Alcarchemicalsgroup to look at what I've read many, many times and couldn't get the site to come up. Maybe it's now disappeared along with the complex Alex Cavasin. I don't think we need to copy any of the bogus PR'S since I doubt any shareholder action is going to take place. It's all up to the SEC and its Canadian counterpart to do what's right. GLTA
800K and not proud of it !!!
Swizzer13 keep an eye out for AC in your neck of the woods. My guess is that he's gone home to spend our money and is teaching 7th grade science. I doubt he'll try and get his name in the paper with any new patents....
Thanks Profit ! Many of us do appreciate you keeping us posted.....I think most of us have come to realize what this is, but we would like to know the details and why. Of course, it would be nice to see AC get what's coming to him. The investigator should keep good notes, because like some have said---this would be a good book/movie !!!
I'm still here, not that it matters much. I wonder if BHL would be willing to share anything on the talks they had with AC since it's been a long time. Obviously nothing is going on with the optimatization plan AC pitched and no money was exchanged. Bummer for the Doc. Remember around 10-18-2006 the Doc said ACMG had applied for the patents. We should be able to find this out at the end of April since it takes about 18 months ....Of course, "To Profit" has stated they do not exist and he's probably correct. Remember, too, that the DOE granted $385 million to 6 companies in Feb. 2007 for ethanol research/production. What do you think AC thought about this and his chances of competing ? Is this one of the other reasons why he ran and took our money ?
Sorry! I really am ....I was just joking about anybody signing with SIAM. I feel badly GC that you were mislead.
Got a new player in the bio-mass to ethanol industry, Coskata Inc. They thought about signing with SIAM Renewable Energy, but opted to ink a deal with GM instead. Too bad AC hadn't gone this route with his "astonishing technology". Coskata.com explains a little bit about their technology. They use secret microorganisms....proably got that idea from AC. I'm sure he's pissed off.....
Thanks Profit for still keeping us posted on Evgeny and I'm glad the two of you have developed a friendship. Jan. 7th I'll keep that in mind next year with respect to the new guy in our family from Minnesota by way of Russia...smart guy !
I believe AC talked to BHL and others with the idea of raising some capital to get this "off the ground". Obviously, they didn't bite at what he was offering and I think that's because he didn't have much going except theory. "To Profit", who did a lot of DD on ACMG, has expressed his opinion that the patents don't even exist. It'll be 18 months at the end of April and at that time we should be able to see if ACMG applied for patents as stated in his PR. I believe "To Profit" had a friend (patent lawyer) who "looked" into this for him and that's what he based his opinion on. Even if AC actually has something to develope, he totally misled investers (fraud) with his statements....June 21 2006 ... "With such a promising technology, which represents a truly sustaninable and highly economical process, contracts like the one just signed with AM Polymers and expecially with the stock so undervalued, ACMG represents a tremendous potential to long term investors." Is this a pump or what ? How about this one; May 16, 2006 "...We are now discussing licensing terms and I am expecting results very shortly. This could easily become a USD $10 million yearly contract." I understand the disclaimers ACMG always makes, but it's still a pump. People like TJ see through the pump and look for execution. There hasn't been any with ACMG, so make your conclusion. How many people drove around Three Rivers looking for a plant ? I don't know, but if you look at the facts it's just not there !!! Yet, I still hold my shares....
The pursuit of using green matter to make polymers and ethanol is great. It's not a new idea been around a long time. A number of companies are developing this technology i.e. Range Fuels, Cargill-Dow I forget the others. Alex Cavasin was not a businessman. He had his hands full just developing the technology and seeing that through to fruition. He could have used some real help with money, developement and marketing. Unless you've got big bucks to get it going, it takes a long time to build a company. I feel like this is not going to work out. I have hopes that this will emerge someday, but it's wishful thinking not built on anything factual. GLTA
When I think back.... we had a lot of posters and some had their own following. It really was a board that had a lot of intelligent people, who not only made some good points of interest, but could track down the slightest of leads. Some had a sense of humor that brought that much needed laugh. I, too, will miss those that have contributed so much. It looks like this board has slowed down to near nothing. Thinking back on AC I wonder what happened? I thought for a long time that he was paying pumpers and that was a good sign. Letting us know that he was still around. But, I don't think that's happening anymore. I still wonder who would buy this stock, unless they just had money to throw away. Afterall, one could purchase 100,000 shares for $350.00. Well, here's wishing we all meet up again ....someday.
Gator, I didn't see anything in the report concerning CDL. Did I miss it ....who is CDL ? I used to live in PB and worked in La Jolla. Nice place, but got too big.
I think the best scenario for us might be; AC, being the dreamer, was no where close to accomplishing the BP as he projected it. He couldn't face some of the people he'd come to know and didn't want to face the "music" when the word got out that he had deceived so many. So he has packed his bag and "started over" in SEA. The idea and the little bit of technology he has "tucked" away is still workable ....rest assure that AC and his team are working 18 hour days. As far as Evgeny ....I doubt he has any grounds for his reactor design, especially if AC throws him a bone when and if ACMG ever moves forward. Of course, the reality of the situation is probably closer to the "dreamer" failing or taking so long to develope the astonishing technology it's obsolete.
The chance of this becoming a successful venture is very slim. But we hold on ... probably because most of us are down so much money we might as well stay til the end. I believe a lot of people just want some answers to what has happened ....what exactly came down and did it ever exist the way AC portrayed it. Some people want AC'S head on a platter, but after all this time he's probably a blonde, wears an eye patch with a skinny face wearing tank tops exposing bulging muscles. I personally believe AC never had a PHD and that he misrepresented himself. In general that's probably not even a crime, but connected to a company the good Doctor is building should be a crime !!!
Am I missing something....have we been halted ? 34,300 yesterday and no shares traded today.
I think the issue is do we have a technology that is worth anything ? Supposedly, ACMG has a technology that is "astonishing" and worth $85 million dollars. If anybody can find out how CLD ( who are they and why would you want to hide who they are ?) evaluated the technology, you would be ACMG's shareholder of the year ! Believe it or not with the people we have on the board, we could probably move this company forward better than its going now. Has anybody ever found Martin Beaulieu ?
Hi 'to Profit', a day or so after the "arranged" interview a sat. picture was brought up that looked like the address was a house with a pool. But, if you looked closely you could see a building with parking on one side. So this story line is dated 03/2007. Not to current ....
Don't leave because nobody wanted to contribute money to an iffy cause. Iffy because nobody knows what could be recovered, if the SEC would move any faster because it's an attorney making the inquiry, it's a pink sheet stock or what exactly could a securities lawyer do.... Believe me it's nothing personal and you shouldn't take it that way. Lurk for awhile and if you change your mind, don't hesitate to come back. Always read your posts and respected what you had to say. Take care....
We all have our moments and I'm sure some of us write while we're impaired !!! Special One you seem to have good computer skills. Thanks for your research. Have you ever been to freshpatents.com? I realize that a lot of patents are just "tweaks" of prior patents. Cavasin said that they just reworked a noble prize winning patent from 50 years ago. I haven't look into what this could be, but patents only last for 17 years. You tweak it a little bit (thermal coating) get creative with a new reactor design(Stefoglo) and submitt a new patent and you got it !!! Now that some of the main DD people have left, I hope that new people will step up. Make phone calls, cruise the web, look up every Cavasin to walk the earth and get his picture on every milk carton east and west of the international date line. If you go back nine months on the MB you don't see many that still remain. That makes sense as people sell or give up and go to a "just wait and see mode". I still enjoy seeing what's going on, but believe me I'm not positive on this stock anymore. I'm pulling a PinkeyePete next week and going fishing, so if Peter Pascali doesn't answer monday I'm dead til friday.
We're losing people left and right. Some of the people who did good research are now gone. I sure hope some step forward and, hopefully, are fluent in French, Russian and possess a law degree with a brother-in-law as a PI. Went to freshpatents.com yesterday for 0ct. 2006 and typed in "reactors", but didn't see anything connected to our Alex Cavasin. Has anybody else tried to nose around that site ? I have an email sent to Peter Pascali of Pyrogenesis and hope he will answer back. If he doesn't I'll give him a ring on the phone. I wish I could say I think I'll find something positive, but I'm leaning the other way. Ford. how could you add to your position in this environment ?
I know we don't have a lot to discuss concerning ACMG, but this MB is going in the wrong direction. Somebody asked me where they could find this MB and I'm not sure they need to read what's going on here. FordisAmerica what I meant by the "minimum bid .20" was that Alex would put that or something like that in the contract to protect long time shareholders. If he didn't think of us when and if he was signing with SREG it could get real ugly for us down the road. Like I've said SREG in my opinion could give a rat's ass about us. This is a bad time for us and I can't see it getting any better until something breaks. I think we're going to discover/hear more negative things than positive in the near future. It's going to get tough on those going long....
I emailed Steven Sung months ago with my concern about SREG and, of course, never got a reply. We are a pain to them and they do not care about us one single bit. There's no doubt in my mind (if they are in fact real) they will buy us out....I only hope that Alex Cavasin made a minimun bid for the takeover. Hopefully, at least, .20 and this is totally speculation (wishful thinking) on my part.
