Hey Dart,
Been a while, hows things? I dont know much about pincher plays and wanted to throw this one at you and see what you think about it. Chart looks a bit iffy, so this might end up a waist of time but wont hurt to keep a watch on it. I am feeling a bit rusty right now, stopped trading when I put all my eggs in USO short last June and let it ride until just before Christmas. Gave me lots of time to try and wear the boat out! LOL So if you get the time to look at this, would appreciate your thoughts, TIA, Short

Then that would make me right, you just described a completed stock transaction. Until you sell, trade not complete.
This works in the other direction also. If you buy a stock like this one and it R/S until you have nothing to sell, you never get to write off the loss. If the trade never completes with a sell or a cover, the IRS doesnt recognize it. Always set your acceptable loss limit and stick to it, learn from it and live to trade another day. Good luck to you...
Its not the price of what you short, its the percentage it drops and its very easy to take 90% off of a stock like this. Seems Extras game is to short until BK comes. The point of that isnt just the obvious, to never have to cover for greater profit. If you never cover due to BK, then from the IRS rules its a non trade and therefore its a non taxable event. This IRS rule needs to be killed, some say this rule is responsible for the loss of many newly created jobs.
While checking that Appraisers web site, see if he qualified for the Homestead tax exemption? If he did not, then by Florida rules he is not a resident and therefore not protected. However, if this is his first yr of paying property tax he won't be able to take the Homestead exemption so you wont know if he is considered a full time resident.
If you would do a bit of reading, you would understand how this works and what the effect is and know that the past few days comment was off. These reports are delayed just like all shorting reports. There could be more FTD's now and we wouldnt know until next month. Seriously Crash, if you trade any market you need to understand this stuff, it happens in every exchange.
There has been failures, in fact SWCV just came off the list 2 days ago. There were 10's of millions of FTD's until just recently, 100's of millions last month. And yes Crash, a FTD is a short. Not that I blame the drop on shorts, but the fact remains that this has been very heavily shorted in the past and that doesnt help the stock price of any issue.

We didnt get much more than a few sprinkles and a nice breeze in this area and I am about 30 miles north of St.Pete. The fishin sure does suck though! Dart, I told you a while back that my son was coming home from Baghdad and I was taking him to the Keys for a couple weeks....Got him hooked up with a nice trophy Bull Dolphin. Also got a couple nice Tuna and a Wahoo. Then took a party boat out and got into the Yellow tail, those things are a blast for little fish, and tasty too! Wish we had Yellows in our fishery here. When we went diving the water was so clear, reefs were beautiful! I would imagin the water quality has dropped a bit since then though. Glad to hear you guys came out of Fay OK.
I dont know where you get this from, I am fully loaded and would not buy at 9. Why would you even say something like this when I could easily buy at 7 or 8? There was a few wondering about the after market 9's going through and it was just an idea to get some answers and theres plenty of traders here that would be willing to sell at that price. You seem a bit perinoid?
If some one put 1mil shares up for sale at .0009 with a GTC/AON order it would be a good way to find out if they were getting these shares from retail or if there is someone with a big pool filling those late orders.
Thanks Red!
Have a 15 day reprieve from the little ones, sent them to NY to stay with my daughter. Sold the Charter business 2 weeks ago so I am back trading full time again. I have most of my cash tied up in USO and GM short but found enough spare change to follow you into this, see what it does? Maybe this time when GM bottoms I'll be around to cover it! LOL Hope ALL is well with you and yours!
Hey Red, Hows it hangin? Been a while, hows things looking over here these days? SF
Sorry, just looked back and seen you are from Coco area, could have swore I read Miami beach! LOL
Any thoughts on PUDC? I tried to buy at .46 support but ended up in at .49 They just put up some good numbers, then pulled back kinda hard from low .70's but looks to me its ready to go now? TIA
Thank you for the welcome! Been a lurker for some time, just dont post often.
My son is coming home from his second tour in Baghdad and he is stressed big time so I figured on tossing a few bags in the trunk of my old Mustang, drop the top and take him for a ride through the Keys for a week. Going to head out the day after Mothers day and plan to fish and dive the reefs. Any ideas on the better areas to do both that are off the tourist radar would be appreciated? I dont know the area very well, other than a visit or two to see my Aunt in Hollywood I havent spent much time in your area. I usually spend my time on the water from Clearwater up to Cedar Key but mostly in Crystal river area since thats where my boat is. Any time I can return the favor with info on the nature coast area, I'm your guy. We have a great fishery here, just have to be cautious if you bring a boat. Its easy to run up on oyster beds around here but a good flats boat or a Kayak is the best way to go around here. Best of luck! SF
We are getting a few Cobia up here in the Tampa area! I hear they are in around you too? Best eatin fish out there IMO. Caught 3 so far but not one was in the slot size. Reds are a blast and been finding higher numbers the past few yrs despite the red tide and the cold kill off we had a few yrs ago. Have you seen the new regs for the big Grouper? Some around here are saying the big Grouper are killing the fishery they have become so plentiful. They make it such a pain now to fish for them, in Federal waters you cant even boat them but yet you are expected to drain the swim bladder. Fuel is getting to expensive to get out to the blue water anyway.
Thanks Bobby, real mixed bag with this one. Play the channel with hopes it breaks out and fills that gap above? Thanks again! SF
Hey Boca,
Can I please get a chart on FMT? Thank you! SF
You certainly are a man of few words. But the words are GOOD! Now that we have the restructuring done, you will be correct very soon. GLTA SF
Looks like the final dip before news, not the first time this stock has done this. Got the bad news out/restructure of the way, now news will come in the next day or two if this is setting up like the typical play IMO. Loaded and ready to go.
Hey Red, Hows it been going? Following Low's principles of how this works, I'd say SWVC is getting ready to run. We just got the bad news, and that bad news was Restructuring. This seems to be following Lows theory on how a new pump starts, and we both know the PR's must be lined up and ready to go not to mention just how good these PR's might be. Sure looks like they have more than one possible new co coming in and/or the expansion of Heckets. Who knows, nothing may happen for some time to come, but the odds favor a good run coming soon.
Thanks for the invite Red, I'll check it out when I get a bit of extra time. Time is at a premium for me now with the grandboys taking most of it. Hope everyone is having a good weekend, SF
You think he is mad now? Just wait till this puppy starts moving in the next few weeks and he realizes he sold at the bottom!
The fact that we haven't gotten anything official yet on the end of legacy may be a very good sign. Speculation on my part, but if TS is deep in a buyout, we would be in a quiet period and TS would have his hands tied and unable to tell us Legacy is "Over!"
GL SF
Are you sure? Or is it just the Heroine talking again? LOL One hell of a soap opera going. Got gold?
Pure Ethanol stations yes, but Ethanol is served up at EVERY station in the US at min of 10% in every gal of gas sold.
SR, I have to give you a ton of credit. You are by far the most optimistic individual I have ever come across! You can look at the worst info ever and find the good in it! I have one question for you though, so much has changed in my life with these 2 little boys I took in so haven't been able to keep up with the story... What ever happened with the guy from the essay co that said that wasn't his siggy on the stamp? GLTY SF
Thanks penny, I have been watching them. I think they are just pumping up the vol. to unload the last, or at least close to the last of the legacy shares. Was a nice flip, but the vol has dried up to the point its to much like gambling. I expect that will change though as news starts back up. Thanks again Penny and T/A, you guys are great! I dont post much but do a lot of lurking. SF
Thank you T/A Think I already know the answer, but it dont hurt to get outside thoughts.
Do you guys think this is the start of some thing or just a pump to maybe dump the last of the SWVC legacy?
Joke::Hey Light Beam, Ever heard the old saying "All the Nuts Roll Downhill to Florida"? LOL And us natives have to live with this! Good Luck to ya, SF
Looks good Soapy. I like that chart too, it jumps out over .380 for a breakout I might step up for a trade.
OT: Sorry, cant PM you back LB. Thanks, glad you got a laugh out of it. Thank god I didnt have my son with me that day, all though he gets shot at plenty these days in Bahgdad. Was laying in the weeds thinking should I shoot back at this guy? LOL, I damn near did. He did go to jail, a ranger heard the shots before daylight and came to see who was doing it. The guy was so drunk he couldnt stand! I love a three finger glass of Jack, but theres a time and a place for it, and while you are out hunting obviously isnt time or place! Sorry board for the off topic.
On topic: I noticed an asteric the other day next to GSGF in my acct. but have no idea why, its gone now. Am I correct in figuring it will cease to trade the end of this month and we get our payday by the end of March? Was easy money, wish I had picked up more!
You feel like your in a dream when the drunk up in his stand starts shooting at you just before dawn too, true story, had it happen! But we dont need a drunk to start shooting to get this up, just need a bit of news, this stock is starved for news!
PS. OT. Hey Red, what kinda birds dont fly?
No way will gold drop to $700 let alone $600! Well, I suppose if the Forex pulls ALL the margin out of the metals it could see $600 but they would bankrupt their selves by doing so. I have seen so many bugs from the group I am in try to time/trade this bull and they get hurt most of the time. Its best to just buy and hold WITHOUT MARGIN if your long term and don't let the bucking Bull throw you off. The only trading I have done is with the miners and thats hard enough to do. I did however trade some gold in for silver in my pool acct when gold first hit $900, turned out to be a good move.
I would say if your holding gold short term, its time to sell. Long term should be fine. The Central banks have been selling gold like this for many years trying to control the price, one look at a long chart and you can see how well this has worked. One huge problem the Bankers face is the depreciating dollar and many country's wanting to sell down their dollar reserves. The best way for China, Russia, ect to get out of the US fiat paper without tanking the dollar is to buy gold, and they have been. Couple that with the realization coming mainstream that the dollar is in a bad way if not toasted we will see gold prices do the same thing they did last yr and the yr before when the Central bankers sold massive amounts of gold. True, it will go down some, but it will find buying support at some level just like each time in the past. Certain bankers last time said they would sell their quota allotment but backed out at the last min. and refused to pass on their allotment to other bankers, Germany was one. Each time they do this, its less of a force than the prior yr, and some now say they are about out of gold and many of these banks have been selling leased gold of all things. I have found the best way to find the bottom is to watch the bigger miners, when you see them step up to buy back hedges they have done in the past, we are close if not at the bottom. I expect to see a hard battle this yr between the Bankers and the Bugs, its do or die for the bankers, but there's SO many waiting on the sidelines to buy gold this time that most dont see gold dropping below $835. Time will tell, but the Bull is alive and well. As hard as the Bankers may try to kill this bull, the end result will be bankers making the bull mad and he will give them the horns! Keep printing Mr. Banker, and I will keep buying gold.
Your welcome Eik. As I said, not really a gold bug either even though I have physical, I am into silver though. Since you Mention the monetary value of gold, silver one ups gold because it can not only be seen as real money, but industrial in nature also. When you look at SLW, you will find its not a miner at all, its more of a pure, hands off money machine, love it buis model! If you find time, have a good, close look at silvers uses and just how many new uses are coming out daily. Then have a look at how small the sector actually is, you will see the big picture here and where this wonderful metal is headed. Oh ya, one other thing that might come into play. The EU has banned the use of lead soldier, the logical but expensive in comparison replacement is silver. The tricky thing is finding the best entry, many things to consider at this point including what the indexes will do,some times the miners will follow the indexes down. I'm pretty sure you know the rest, rate cuts, the dollar, oil and so on. SF
Hey Indian, Nice to see your posts again. You know one doesn't even notice your self proclaiming dumb part when refreshing honesty is so forthright. Just keep in mind, this has been a script of sorts since the beginning. And the script may still be going right now?
OT.Are those Monkeys riding on dogs? I love your pics, do you do this sort of thing for a living?
Good call on the wording he uses. If you know your words might end up in court where word twisting is the name of the game, This may end up a smarter defense than O.J. used! LOL
Hey Dos,
Not trying to be a smart a$$ here, with that said, did you raise any kids? Forget it, don't answer.LOL My point is trust. I always told my kids, it took you a long time to earn my trust and in one act you can lose it for a very long time, will have to work hard to earn my trust back. The market is no different. Even if they do come out with some earth shattering news, it wont move up far before the selling starts. I highly doubt 2C bought it back and knows that without the help of a boiler room the PPS wont move far to the upside before those currently caught will start selling happy to get what they can. Its not just the lies here, the stock is wore out. Not trying to tell you to buy/sell or anything else, just trying to pass on a lesson I learned long ago. Best of luck Dos, SF
Do you follow Gold and Silver? I play some gold shares and have physical but Silver is by far my favorite. Had been in SLW for for well over a yr. It was one of my main holdings, sold when GG first said they would sell their 108 mil share holding at $14.50. I expected SLW to tank well below th 14.50, it didn't! So now I am looking at it hard again trying to figure entry price. There is a new Silver stream coming in soon, but no word on how it will be financed yet. If they issue new shares to generate the cash needed it might make for a good entry price but no telling what the issue price will be if they even do sell new shares. This is not your typical miner Eik, check out the Buiss. model on this co, I think you will be impressed. With Silver expected by some to hit at least $35, there is very good leverage and cash to be made in a long term hold with this one. SF
