Just a quick note here. Yep I am one of the few still holding my shares at this whopping price. Worth too little now to even care about the stock. This is why I only now make it on here about once in every 3 months or so. But it does not look like I missing out on anything. Probably the most paibful thing with this stock is how little information we get from the company. More than likely this thing will eventually just bust. Really weird how it has not busted already and still seems to keep going.
Hello everyone or just anyone (if anyone is still watching this thing),
Time after time again I have been disappointed in this stock. At one time I was excited about the possibilities and then I began to feel this was a scam. Then I realized the company was real and kept some hope because by then I had really lost just about everything but the number of shares I had.
Then I began to get excited again because it seemed the lawsuit was behind them which then explained why we may not have been given any info (possible gag order). But we still got very little info. And we know that Carl Swan has helped create some really successful businesses in the past but now looking back at everything that has happened it is hard to think of this company ever becoming successful.
If this were to turn around it is hard to imagine that this would happen anytime soon being they are selling off possible assets that could earn much more in profit in time. If the assets were worthless I doubt Avalon would have bought them.
As I have said before, I am hanging in there only because I have lost nearly everything that I have put into this. And this little rant is just to see who is still reading from this stock board and to maybe get some new news.
Later
I certainly hope we find out something soon. I have seen where a company gets bought out and the stocks just go to the waist side and I have seen when the stocks are taken in at a certain price. When a small company makes it big and gets bought out this usually means the stock goes up. In this case though I would expect it to stay about the same. One thing we may see is a transition of stock from Bedford to Avalon. If Avalon is at a $1 a share and Bedford is $.10 then instead of holding 10 Bedford shares you would hold 1 Avalon share. We will just have to wait like always with Bedford before we get any news I guess. Why change now? I will definitely be more careful about companies like this again in the future.
I would imagine that if we have stock in Bedford and these were sold to Avalon we now own stock in Avalon. My shares still show a worth of $.05
I do not know. ChandlerBorn always has good input though. Everything in the market is in turmoil and this stock has actually been the least of my worries. Maybe something will be out soon now that another quarter has passed. I have also been keeping as busy as possible in hopes that I am not one of the ones laid off. Everything is just going in the crapper!
I wish there was a small company like this that really wanted to go big time into something like natural gas like T. Boone Pickens has done. I would invest in them which would be an investment in energy independence. Or at least a step in that direction.
Speaking of T. Boone Pickens, does he have a public stock that can be purhcased? Wandering because he made it sound like he was using his own money and not letting anyone control him, which means he may not have a publicly traded company for this project he is doing.
All I know is for regular business, sh!t is about to hit the fan. This will not be a good week. Bail out or not things are not looking good. Maybe for Bedford who knows they might pull something out of this. Maybe local companies with low overhead might be able to survive better than some of the big dogs. We will just have to wait and see.
Yeah, I understand that. But it has been a while now and it seems like keeping the profits would be the best move over selling the wells. Almost seems like giving up.
I hear that about the natural gas but when I first began looking into bfde it seemed the target was oil. And the idea was to use newer technologies that could get more oil out of an older oil well and the risks were less because we know what the previous output of the wells use to and we know that drilling back then could only get out about 30% of the oil.
It sounded like a winner to me. And then after about a year of waiting I started hearing about natural gas. What ever happened to the equipment rental/leasing program where they were going to fix up old dericks and then rent or lease them out? Shouldn't this have helped bring in more funds? We do not even hear about this anymore.
It is frustrating and my only hopes are from this. Mostly all startup companies fail. Even with the bad luck this one seems to keep hanging in there. This tells me that they are still trying to succeed. As long as someone is trying it gives me some hope that this may pan out one day.
I do not have enough shares to get rich even if the price goes up $100 a share. But I would like to see this thing win. I am really hopeful that BFDE can pull this off. I would like to say one day "Yes! I knew they could do it and there is the proof!".
Good to see some new news has occurred. About the good news bad news question... I believe it is too hard to tell. 100,000 shares sounds like a lot because there has been very few trades for such a long time. But 100,000 is nothing and there is only a small number of investors for BFDE. Someone needs to light a fire under someone's butt over at BFDE because with gas and oil prices up so high I would think smaller companies would tend to rake in some profits. They were banking on this as one of the factors that would help them be successful. We should see more news I would think and maybe a little excitement over there.
Cool, thanks for the update. Things are pretty quiet and it just seems that now things should be moving in the right direction, and if they are we should be getting more feedback from Bedford themselves.
Anyone have naything new about Bedford?
I understand defide. Sometimes I feel like calling it quits and then I feel excited. Up and down roller coaster. However, the company gives very little information and after I found out about the law suit and some specualtion of maybe a gag order it made a little sense. But today it makes no sense at all. We buy pink sheets because while they are extrememly risky they can pay off big with the right company.
This company though had all the makings it seemed that it could be successful but also let's not forget that most startup companies do not even last as long as this one. Plus that long list of investors into BFDE who had way more to lose than I that was provided to the courts for the lawsuit made me feel more comfortable with this company.
I am not sure what the final outcome will be to this stock. None of us know and thos in the company who could provide some insight to future plans is not giving us one bit of real information it seems. I will say that I am not waiting for this to rise or fall. I just come on here every now and then and check the latest every so often. Unless I see something good and real I will not sink more money into this beast.
Heck for the last couple of years my 401k has even lost money but it is for the long term and hopefully things will be better in time.
I agree that we should get more information. So far the best news has come from here where people either had some local contacts or actually go by there themselves to see a status. But I wonder why the company does not give much of anything. I expected that after the court case that things would get better. But so far it has proven to be about the same.
Pretty quiet now. I am not sure what is going on here because it does not look like they are doing a complete sell out. But I would be upset if my stock becomes completely worthless and the workers of Bedford Energy get restricted stock in Avalon and also 1.5 million. Especially now because I thought at this point we should be moving from out of the red and more in the green. Could it be that Avalon is only investing into a small percentage into these wells and they are doing it because they show great promise? If so, then our stock should go up. Also, maybe Bedford only release a small percentage to get some funds needed to survive a while longer.
At this point my stock is not worth much. I do not stand to lose much more now. And so I am still holding.
I am still holding. Why? Well I have already pretty much lost my money that I had in this. I am not sure if my stock will carry over into the other company or if my stock will jsut become fully worthless. What normally happens with these kind of things?
Well hopefully this means it can help get bfde back on track soon.
Ok, let me see if I understand. Bedford is being bought out by Avalon? Or is it that Avalon is just buying into Bedford? It sound sto me that Bedford is being bought out completely on August first and as late as September 1st.
What does this mean for us? Will our stocks be dropped and essentually be worthless, are they going to honor buying our stock at current price, or are our stocks going to go up?
At least the company seems to be moving now in a possitive direction. I hope to hear more meters spinning soon.
Wow, really got that mixed up. There is a Tom Swan in the oil business and I got that mixed up between Tom Tayler and Carl Swan. My bag. Went back to look at original post and it said Carl Swan stepped down as chairman but will remain active and as a consultant to Bedford, so I guess this is the answer I was looking for.
I am wondering why Tom Swan walked away from BFDE and just how involved he still is in the oil business. It seems he still holds high positions on at least one other company. Did he give up on BFDE, or did he know that it would soon start to pick back up and that he felt it would all soon be under control?
Cool. But all past emails I have sent have never been responded to. I expect that if things move in the right direction and there is better and better news then they will be happy to reply. I have yet to see this though.
I am not angry, just stating what I believe to be a fact that we should be getting a lot more news and soon just because there has been plenty of time for this.
We have been getting at least a little something for this year which I guess is better.
It is good news to know Grace #2 is finally online and the meter is running but there were other wells as well, a lot of time, and what appeared to be a gag order being there was a lawsuit. My point is, we should be getting even more information. Maybe they are just working out details and trying to wait for the best news possible which of course would spur up the stock momentum but they could give us a little more being we have been waiting so long.
I have said that I am in this for the long haul and this is true but I do think we should be getting a little more than we are.
Good news or bad news. It is always better than no news so that we know what is going on. But something is telling me that those of us who have hung in here this long will find some success soon. Like I said I am in till the end but I think this will grow and we are going to get some news within the next few months that will probably catch everyone off guard.
This could be the one that fooled everyone and those of us willing to stick in there may get huge growth later. I can just feel it. But you never know with these things.
Here! Here! I will drink to that! Excellent news. I sure hope we get some better news publicly in some announcement but let's all also remember that you can waste 50 million digging 50 holes before there is a good success that of course pays for everything and makes a good profit. But I believe their method here will be a very good direction that will help a start up company in oil a higher chance of earlier success but in smaller profit margins. As they grow they will take on probably some of the other higher risks digs.
Thanx for the good news about the meter.
At this point, waiting to see how it plays out is about the best thing one can do. No sense in bailing now. But you know, something in the beginning told me that this would end up as a good stock. Even though it had the makings there for a while like it was a scam. I even had some words back then. But after knowing 100% for sure that the company was real and not a scam, and they just kept going and trying, I feel confident that they are doing everything they can to reach success. Most startup companies fail. This company has already outlasted many other startups. And really they news can not get any worse. If I take 100% loss from where I am at currently, it is not much more gone. I feel good about this one and I am actually glad most people are not even watching it anymore. First sign of good news and I may be able to get another huge purchase in before it catches everyone else's attention.
Thanks for the info ChanlerBorn.
Thanks for the update.
I was watching something the other night about oil exploration and they mentioned that the way they use to drill for oil only got like a third of the oil out and that new technologies and methods are being used to get a lot more of it out. It is possible to take an old well where proven oil once was and use a new method to get at even more oil.
If this proves to be good source of oil companies like Bedford may actually clear pretty good profits in time. For now, still waiting game.
I am free subscriber also. I use to pay but mainly because I was monitoring this. No sense in paying again until I believe it is worth it to me. Each board though does need someone to manage them. The purpose is really to give you the ability to change the box if you feel it should be or if you do get new info and you wanted posted there instead of just a message. You will not have to wait for me to make the change. I only get on here every now and then. I have my stock and I am holding it. It is either for the long haul or until the company goes under. I believe the company will prove themselves in time though.
ChandlerBorn - you have good connections and get information that is hard to come by. I added you as an assistant so that you can update the iBox as much as you like.
Thanks for all the great info.
Things are quiet. One of the reasons why I am not on here everyday like I use to be. But do try to look on here every now and then. A little more here lately because of some of the changes. One definitely has to be patient for this stock.
Hey Schlitz,
I just went ahead and added you so that you can edit the iBox. Change what you want on there. all I ask is to leave the graphs unless you have better ones.
Thanks
This is all exciting news guys. We are lucky to have schlitz and chandler born here.
Thanks for the info.
I think it was quite possible someone was trying to drive the stock down even more because now that things are in motion we will see things happening. The websites have had some changes like I have said, things are beginning to happen at the sites, etc. I think it is only a matter of time we will see some new pictures and even get some new information that will help raise this stock up from the dead. And at the speed things are happening it may not be too long. Probably why we seen some of the volume today.
Yeah i am hoping so. I have been watching closely at the website and noticed some of the links coming back up and being active so someone there is workingon this stuff.
Cool, maybe they will use this median to give an update soon.
ChandlerBorn, thank you again for keeping us posted.
I will not say exactly how much I have but for a small stock and not knowing much about them in the beginning I think I have a pretty good amount. I bought several times and my average price today is at $.30. I will say this much, I have thousands invested but not 100s of thousands. What I have is small compared to some I have I heard from. One guy was telling me he had like $220,000 invested. I think what I have invested is a good amount for at the time of when I was even starting to doubt this company was a real company about a year and a half ago.
What I am worried about now is someone buying and selling lower and lower even at a loss to try and drive down the stock price further and then wait for someone on here to get scared and drop thousands of shares for even cheaper. Then send out millions of spam about the stock to try to get people to buy and force the price upward. Then of course sell very quickly to steal from everyone else. I am not sure if this was the case with oilpuddle but it seemed that way.
I want to invest more and I probably will later once some things get worked out. I would like to make money but obviously it would be really cool to be apart of company that matures and grows into something even just moderate in size. Wouldn't it be cool to have been one of the original investors in Microsoft? If this company begins to show new strong life I will dump a lot more money into it from my other stocks. And because of the way things are looking I may be putting another $5000 into this in a few months whether it grows or not. We will see and I have no problem mentioning it if/when I do it.
WOW! ChandlerBorn, you are really one of the guys who seem to always have good information as to what is actually happening at this company. Not sure if you are one of the big investors on the list of defendants and this is why you have good info, but whether you are or not does not matter because you seem to always have reliable information. We do not need to know who you are or your contact. It is just good getting information.
I do believe that this company is doing everything they can to get these ideas to work and so if I felt I could help by investing more I will. They are definitely not quitters! And I think it is definitely fair to say whether they succeed or not their intentions were to always succeed and this was not a fake company. In the beginning I was fearful it might have been a scam because of some of the other scams going on at the time.
I am not as familiar with blowouts but I think gas pressure is frequent and therefore there are suppose to be special devices to keep them from happening. But hopefully it means something good and this is why they wanted to settle out and finish the job on this one. Might be something good.
Thank you schlitz, I guess this means there are no plans for bankrupcy anytime soon. I am sure glad i was not the one who let a lot of stock go even cheaper.
I think someone out there is trying to drive it down as far as they can so that they can send out some SPAM and make it rise then sell just to take everyone penney they can off everyone. Maybe that is what the 400,000 shares was about.
I have no reason of being sneaky. If I plan to sell I have no problem telling everyone on here. I am certainly not going to do it because someone comes on here and says they heard something bad. Do your research and if you truly think this is the case then post your comment here like oilpuddle did. But back it with why you think so.
Personally I think this will work out and could turn out to being pretty good. They will need more and more wells to become excellent but I think the concept can payoff.
Hey oilpuddle,
Do you own bedford energy stock? If so and you are worried about it go ahead and sell it if you are worried about it. Like I said, fear of losing money went out the window a long time ago and I have had nothing but a gut feeling that someone is trying to force the price down even further. Maybe you, could be.
If this is not your intention then cool. But I will either lose all which isn't much left or I will sit it out until things get better. I am not going to budge based on someone new on here who has had nothing but a few bad things to say.
Thank you
