Got a notice from my brokerage today that shares will be cancelled.
I'm still trying to find out if the USADA is willing to release forfeiture funds to the Trustee. Not getting any feedback, but still pressing.
Surprised to hear "starting this week". I guess everything to date has been pre-trial. Hoping to hear ringside feedback.
Looks like obergfell will make a distribution in Sept. Very tint. Probably nothing for us.
Looks like the RB has devolved into a spam pit. Not sure it's worth posting there. Anyone still here?
Looks like the Bull is down. I hope not permanently.
Did you get one?
Here are some findings on Rutgers and Globalnet:
First - this POS looks like the dog of the year:

Flem - Litigation has been settled for 2 years, their slate is NOT clean - I doubt they could get a line of credit with any decent interest rate, What money? Tax losses - Yes - I think so, but does FPFI own those, or FPFX? Think about it? Experienced management team??? Have you looked at Roundtrees experience? Drapers? DP ran a couple of cheesy small lenders in Sacramento all which failed. That is the best of their business experience.
Flem - I'm not trying to be mean, but I have learned a lot in 11 years, and now remembering the differences between the BK entity and the Holding company is easier for me.
Generous. Now that's an interesting word.
I hope I'm not raining on your party. I just think you're deluding yourself. If you want me to leave, I will.
Well, I don;t. I'm just waiting for everyone to get all wound up over a shred of rare good news so I can dump enough shares to not drag down the rally. Sorry, but I was the cheerleader for 5 years, but then I got to actually meet FP managers.
If this stock gets to a quarter and stays there for a month, I'll eat my hat. Nonetheless, I do see greater suckers driving it to maybe 50 cents for a day or two. I'll be out before that number though!
My feelings:
Just for fun, here is a speculative list of the top ten expected and possible events that could stir up some interest in fpfx.
1. Distribution from FPFI Creditor Trust - Surely
2. Annual report for 2006 - Forget about it.
3. Any announcement of business activity - What, so we can pawn off our shares to dumber investors?
4. Becoming current with SEC filings - Not a chance.
5. Moving to a higher exchange or OTCQX - Never happen.
6. Announcement of shareholder distribution date - Yes.
7. Adding employees or directors - Exactly the opposite. Management is the same - extra employees are expenses without a shred of evidence they will produce income, so that hurts FP.
8. Insider buying at or above market - Bigger idiot theory again.
9. Communication or filing by Danford Martin - Hmmmm - that's worthy of consideration.
10. Short covering (Feb 27 short interest 388,613 shares) - Not!
My biggest - Announcement of cessation of operations, sale of assets, or acquisition by anybody who can run a business without complete reliance on legal sleight-of-hand.
I will.
Hi Flem - I'm not suggesting finding a complaint at this time. I'm suggesting getting good legal advice as to how to prepare for a series of outcomes and what to watch for. For example, I could conceive that we would be advised to write a letter as a shareholder committee as soon as the distribution occurred stating that we know X was the distribution, .53X is our stipulated pay amount, Y is the date that this is to be disbursed, and that we require a written 'explanation' in the number if lower or date later, and then file that with the court and with the SEC, so that their lawyers will advise them that they can't ignore it.
You see, I feel that it is lawyers that are running this scam. I met one of the managers and this guy seemed a class A dope. I'd bet the others aren't very different. If lawyers are running FP, then our best way to insure compliance is to leverage the legal commitments they made TO THE LETTER - just like they would.
I'm still ole doubting Thomas, so if I had much of a dog in this race, I'd be revving up the lawyers and breathing down the necks of these characters until an announcement, and if a single hair was out of place, I'd go after them, leveraging every possible protection imaginable.
Sorry, Leo, but hindsight is 20/20, and even if it's staring at you, you can see it until you've lived it. These guy's will honor nothing unless under real threat, IMO
Maybe I need to get back on the Bull. At least that is one place where we can keep them under a microscope.
News from Dave O. Someone want to post it on the Bull?
Tom
The next report for the Trust will be filed before May 15th for the quarter ending March 31, 2007. I am preparing to make a distribution in late March.
Dave
I didn't execute yesterday, but I'd bet Dan is still unloading - carefully.
Thanks Flem;
I just wish I had your confidence. I worry more about being left holding the bag then I worry about missing the bus, and you may remember, I was, at one point, the great accumulator.
I've never met a slimier bunch that this group and while a distribution would surely please me, hearing that it would not occur, or that it would be a fraction of a penny would not even make me frown - just a wry smile that I should have known all along...
Having said that, I will continue to liquidate in small chunks at a certain price level, and hope for the best for us all.
Hello All!
I've been quiet on the RB because they lost my username and I didn't feel like signing up again for the dying cow, so I've just been watching. With all your leave, I'll be posting here exclusively.
Have been able to liquidate a portion of my position favorably - thanks High - although I still have almost 275000. Might hang onto the rest until a dividend announcement, not hoping it's meaningful, but hoping for a pop in the price.
Paint - are you here? What do you think the odds are that there will be another dividend? A percentage guess would be great, if yer willin'. My gut tells me 50/50, and 80/20 that it will be under a nickel if it happens. I'd like another 'considered' opinion.
