Anyone with a clue as to why the sudden spike on tiny volume??
Becareful with RJT as I've heard that commissions are changing after the first of the year. If anyone can refute that as erroneous info, lemme know as I've been thinking 'bout switching to them for a few months now that NDB got bought up by Ameritrade... TIA

LOL!! I don't follow barcharts with "pinks" either, but, it did make me smile... Harbinger of things to come?? :)
Theo
Caretaker1,
Whether or not earsoup's predictions come full circle remains to be seen. However, I can assure you that I, personally, have full faith in him. I had contact with him prior to the R/M (which turned them into DNAP) and... well let's just say if he states something, it is as exactly as he heard it, saw it, was told, etc.,. But he, like the rest of us, has NO control of the carrying out of these events and cannot be held responsible for their implementation... Everyone is responsible for their own DD...
Just a FWIW.
Theo
P.S., My intention was not to berate you caretaker, and after proofing my post, even I think it has that tone, but, please rest assured it was not. I'm just to lazy to go back this a.m. to re write it... :)
Akita,
I'm butting in here, but, I feel it's worth the risk of wrath <gg>. You need to understand that probably EVERY poster in here, (even those lurking) were screaming for you to buy in now! after posing your question to IVRT. But, the interNUT climate has forced us to take a somewhat more subdued approach as the label of Hypster is only exceeded by the moniker of Basher. Therefore, you will undoubtedly have a tough time having anyone give a simple Yes or No answer to a question posed for a buy or sell without some sort of qualifers attached. IVRT, imho, did a fine job of expressing his, as well as our thoughts.
Happy investing to you!
Theo
Hey GrandMasta,
If you are ever in Florida...let me know!
I'm headed down to Zephyrhills end of March for two weeks. (Gonna catch Sun-N-Fun) Also plan on checking out Sarasota to tour a facility whose name presently escapes me... <g>.
Theo
I think he was referring to the fact that you can call and actually talk to Dr. Frudakis/Craig/or even Steve @ TBF- .at least I assume that's what he meant...
So just what has Masta Phasta been up to?? Btw, see how many new faces showed up here??<g> We just need to rip up a few more RB boards and they will come over here in droves LOL!! For those of you who don't realize or know, this entire set-up (InvestorHub) is Fatt Matt's brain child. How long has it been Matt?
Working way too many hours so I guess it's time to hit the sack. I'lll PM you later this week/weekend FM so I'm not wasting time with OT....<g> Can't have IVRT deleting my posts!
Theo P.S. You're right FM, it's not every day you a "pinky" getting this kind of attention or PR coverage ...yeah, I'm thinkin a winner here.:) (I'll breathe much easier when I see the filing though- can't help it, trust but verify!)
'nite all.
Yep, I'm kickin it on SI and RB...you wouldn't believe what's going on over on RB...LOL!!! Need to bring the "real" investors over here where we can carry on intelligent conversation!!!!
Agree with you Mr. Matt, brings loads of credibility to this "soon-to-be-NOT-pink" company :):)
OT Hey! You been watching ECNC? Phoenix?? Wadda ya think?
Theo
Stand by ladies and gentlemen...I think things are gonna get interesting from here on out.........<ggg>
Matt,
Keep your eye on this one- things may happen very soonly...:)

Paid PR in Barrons for this upcoming week
Barrons:
DNAprint. genomics: (DNAP pink sheets) http://www.dnaprint.com
The recently announced completion of the human genome sequence has opened the
gates for a new style of medical research that will lead to a personalization or
customization of medicine. Personalized medical practice in the future will match patients
with prescription drugs in order to maximize efficacy and minimize contraindication (side
effects). To do this, clinics of the future will read genetic data from their patients saliva
and/or blood, and screen this “read” against “solutions” generated by genomics
companies.
DNAprint genomics intends to be the first to establish a portfolio of these “diagnomics
solutions”, as well as the tools for their use. The company was founded by a group of
scientists with research and commercial experience in high-level mathematical modeling,
programming and molecular genetics. The company’s software and information products
will provide practitioners of personalized medicine with a comprehensive system for
patient classification. Health care professionals and biopharmaceutical scientists will be
able to use the company’s system, through a combination of on-site hardware/software
placement and ASP (application-service provider) resources, to draw highly
sophisticated conclusions and associations between genotype (SNP and haplotype)
data and phenotypic traits (such as drug response or disease). The analytical heart of the
system is a collection of sophisticated algorithms that enable a quantitative and
multivariate dissection of high-density genotype matrices in complex genetic terms for
various human diseases and drug-interaction traits. The system uses a variety of novel
mathematical modeling and programming techniques. The company is applying it’s
informatics platform to real-world pharmacogenomic study in order to build a portfolio of
clinical “solutions” that mathematically express the nature of the genotype-phenotype
relationship for a given drug. (Each “solution” will be used by DNAprint genomics
customers as a template against which they can screen clinical unknowns through the
companies ASP.)
In addition to DNAPrints unprecedented analytical power within the field of human genetic
variation, the company is establishing a one-of-a-kind knowledge resource to which this
power will be applied. In order to develop diagnomics solutions, massive amounts of
genetic data are required to serve as a “road map” upon which discovery and
development routines can be based. For any genomics company, intellectual property
and proprietary genetic information is the foundation for future success. DNAPrint has
engineered proprietary automated software, reagents and protocols to develop a
pipeline of proprietary genetic data flow to own proprietary data warehouse (the
DNAPrint PHENOMESM database). This pipeline system extracts information from the
newly available public human genome database. However, most companies who rely on
this resource are at a disadvantage, because it was built from a small numbers of healthy
human donors and is therefore biased against information with value for application to
the study of specific human problems. Because of this the company has constructed and
uses its pipeline system to mine data from its own proprietary gene database as well.
Since this gene database is derived from large target populations that exhibit certain
genetic traits, the company enjoys the use of private knowledge base with an
unprecedented degree of information content for application to personalized medicine
research. Thus, in addition to its proprietary mathematical modeling and algorithmic
capabilities for the use of genetic “road maps” in general, the company also possesses a
unique genetic “road map” that confers to the company a distinct advantage for the
discovery and development of diagnomics products for tomorrows personalized
medicine.
Accomplishments within the first few months of operation include the development of two
automated software systems for the discovery of genetic variation, the provisional
patenting of a unique biochemical reagent useful for high-throughput genetic analysis, the
development and peer-reviewed publication of novel mathematical concepts useful for
finding genetic patterns from high-density genotype data sets, and the inking of the
companies first strategic alliance. In addition, the company is in the late stages of
negotiating alliances with several high profile organizations which promise to yield
access to high-value biological and hardware resources, and DNAPrint’s lead scientists
have been invited to present at two prestigious genomics conferences later this year.

Notice the word- proprietary:

BYCI
Got a couple of emails on that one myself this a.m.. Hearing that the same group that ran BIFS is getting read to run this one. I was never in BIFS and I am not in BYCI as I'm tied up in DNAP and JVWB- (although if I had some spare cash, I might "play" BYCI for the momo). Just a heads-up... Theo
Well, I"m out of this one temporarily...
Coward! <g>
Boards too wild and rampant with idiots for me (RB board).
Boy ain' that the truth...
Will wait for it to calm down...
Good support here at a quarter now- 'course I thought that @ 0.30 too:) We'll see I guess, but, I'm thinking that this is the bottom IMO. Way to much anticipated news in the offing. I will admit that it's easier for me to be patient as I've been in since the CLCY (even though I averaged UP) and I'm still in the "green", but, I truly think that it is up from here. Theo
Published science paper is out- credibility factor of DNAP just went up 10 fold in the genome community. RB, on the other hand, is about as nuts as I've seen! Way too many people without a clue posting. I've bit my "typing finger" more than once itching to respond to someone<gg> Probably will eventually tho- it's my competitive nature LOL!
Theo.
Every day I come home from work and expect to see a pullback, and every day (so far) I've been wrong!<ggg>
Fun is right!!
Theo
FWIW, Vrholdings posted this link. It's old (July this year), but, it does have two pictures of the good Dr. Frudakis...

As far as "key" events go, you're probably right, but, news that the audit is done will even bring a (bigger) smile to my face before then. FWIW, more than one poster, and Tom Allinder (from SI) in particular, has alluded to the possibility of significant news just after Labor Day. Tom is a straight-shooter and he is one of very few posters that I trust enough to take initial positions in stocks before doing extensive DD- so we may yet see another "key" event prior to the seminar. Regardless, I bought another large block yesterday. Hoarding for the long run...:)

NEWS:
Electronic Identification, Inc. Readies For
Participation In The U.A.E. Identification Smart Card
Project
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23--Electronic Identification, Inc. (OTCBB:EISQ - news), developer of
Smart ID Card(TM) technology supported by a state-of-the-art Intranet framework, has been apprised that the selection of the
consultant for the ``United Arab Emirates Identification and Residency Card Program'' has been confirmed by the UAE
Ministry of Interior.
The selected consultant is scheduled to commence its duties on September 1st, 2000. It is anticipated that the consultant will
issue a formal announcement of the award on or shortly after that date.
With the selection of the consultant confirmed, EI2 will be working strenuously with its Smart Card Consortium team members
under the direction of ITC to secure pre-qualification status with the UAE Ministry of Interior.
EI2 Chairman and CEO, Terry Kirby, remarked, ``With the awarding of the consultancy contract by the United Arab Emirates'
Ministry of Interior for the UAE Identification and Residency Smart ID Card program, EI2 and its consortium can now
proceed to and make the required submissions toward obtaining and securing this prestigious contract.''
EI2's Smart ID Card system uses patented, proprietary compression technology to store high resolution enhanced imagery,
fingerprint and vital information on a chip embedded in a smart card, thus eliminating the need for a photograph on the face of
the card and the resultant potential for fraudulent use and forgery. Orientation of the Smart ID card would be facilitated at
Embassies, customs checkpoints and government departments as part of the EI2 Smart ID Card program.
EI2 (www.eisq.com) develops and markets electronic identification issuing and authentication systems. It also provides an
Intranet based framework for the issue of fraud and tamperproof ID cards via its flagship product line, the Electronic Personnel
Identification and Control Systems (e*PICS). e*PICS and Smart ID Card allow the rapid development of customer specific
applications that include the integration of legacy systems.

jorjenzak,
I think you have the right idea: Will reevaluate after Oct. IVRT posted a response today regarding the news that made a lot of sense to me. He stated that today's PR was to draw the industry's attention. You know, there is a lot to that. While DNAP needs to be congnizant of its shareholders, its main goal is to build its business. And the only way it can do that is to intice others in the industry to take a stake in DNAP. And to do that, it needs to keep the world apprised of its progress no matter how technical it is to the shareholders. Everyone expects PRs to provide a litany or cluster of contracts and instant cash flow statements without having a clue as to what the company does or provides. I admit it. This stuff is way over my head and I have a medical background! I am, however, smart enough to know that this stuff is the future. Whether DNAP is one of the players remains to be seen. I'm betting on it for now...:)
Theo
P.S. Please forgive any spelling errors- MATT! we need spell-check pleeze....:)
Sheesh, even with the news it took a healthy hit. I missed .10, but, I have "triggers" in for tomorrow. I have to think you are correct about the profit taking. Was a lot of spamming of this stock and we would be crazy to think that momo players didn't jump in this for the 20-50% that was practically guarenteed. Heck, had I been home to day to trade, I own enough to "play" with so I probably would've as well. In any event, rumors abound that just after Labor Day we should be leaving the "teens" for good. We'll see I guess. I'm going long- just to much potential here IMHO.
Theo
I agree with your assessmen Matt. Couple of posters yesterday talking about retracing to cover a couple of gaps at the 8cent level- I doubt it at this level. Too low and too much power behind it not to mention mountains of volume. We also churned for a while at the 7-8 cent level. If, however, the next run takes gaps us higher than a quarter, then I would concede a pullback to the mid teens to cover positions. Otherwise, sky is the limit depending on what the "news" is/will be! JMO
Theo
To all,
This is a post written by a poster on RB whose DD I accept carte blanche (and there are very FEW of those folks I trust to that extent). It explains the relationship of E&Y to EISQ and why the antipcipated news will be positive if E&Y are named the consultants:
E and Y is a large company with a branch in the UAE. They probably have branches in a
majority of countries in the world. It is run by an Arab there, who works for E and Y.The
branch in the UAE employees 200 people. The connection is that E and Y of the UAE has
worked before with the ITC group on other projects.EISQ has no relationship with E and
Y,it is the ITC group.Thats why they were hired as the agent of EISQ,because of the
relationship they have with both the Govt of the UAE and others that work and do
consultant business that country.

When i edit my post, it puts it out of order all the sudden..
Yep, I noticed that earlier, but, I assumed that if it did that, then it also meant that nobody could be reading the unedited version while I was editing it- it pulls the post out completely until it's done being edited. (not sure if that is what is happening, just my impression) Unlike SI where your "old" post remains while you're editing it and until you post the "new" version.
Hey, your "bashing" post is history! ( I see I can bring it back should I have a change of heartLOL!) It does, however, keep the same order/sequence even though that post is gone. Theo
Thanks Matt.
Want me to post something so you can toast my post?
Actually, yeah!<g> I read the "how to" part, but, it just ain't the same as really doing it.
Theo
Matt,
"Check out the Chairman of the Board features, John..You should like those, especially
in the world of OTC BB spammers and bashers "
I just started one for another stock of mine for that very reason! I won't spam the name of it here either- I'd hate to be the first one kicked out...
Theo
jorjenzak,
LOL! I see you already managed to get yourself ignored on RB...:) You really can't blame some of them. The past year especially has seen its proliferation of questionable posters whose intent belies their questionable status. Paranoia and quick judgment of everyone was and will continue to follow as a result. Those of us that have been "around the block once or twice" tend to be a little more tolerant or apathetic. Personally, I know I'm more of the latter...<gg> Oh well, big $$ to us all here!
Theo
I would have a hard time believeing that a buyout was imminent. Several conversations with Dr. Frudakis suggests that a "Fortune 500" status is a real viable goal and certainly not attainable if DNAP is bought out. At least not as DNAP... I would more inclined to think that an alliance or partnering contract either with another company (pharmaceutical) or teaching entity (University) is the more likely of scenarios. Heck, who knows? Maybe they have already cracked a particular code and are ready to announce?? It is just opinion/speculation on my part of course. In any case, you gotta love the potential here.
