well at least they have some cash in the door now
From December 18, 2009 through January 13, 2010, GelTech Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) sold 1,275,000 shares and 1,275,000 three-year warrants to purchase the Company’s common stock exercisable at $1.60 per share and raised $1,275,000. These securities were sold without registration under the Securities Act of 1933 in reliance upon the exemption provided in Section 4(2) and Rule 506 thereunder.
i asked them about that..they will be adding a sample pack I believe to the website, but they are very cautious not to sell direct via website. They don't want to cannibalize there distribution partners.
there is just no float as insiders control 10m of the 14m shares out which is also the reason the stock could just rip higher..
Yeah the fan base is exploding. I think we'll hear something in Q1 on new distributors. The company will be presenting at the World Money Show in Orlando first week of Feb. They have a booth and will be presenting as well. I think they will be the star of the show. The ole torch to the hand demo will have everyone stopping.
FireIce fan page on Facebook just exploding. Started about a month ago already has 2400 fans. Up 1000 from Thursday, up 500 in the last 24 hours. Fire fighters and organizations responding that they want FireIce. Goin viral in that community.

Looks much better.
Among smaller payments processing companies, Mammone recommends Cardtronics Inc. for 2010. He rates the stock as a "Buy" and set an $18 price target for the company, which operates thousands of ATMs across the U.S., United Kingdom and Mexico.
----This was just out Friday. Interesting since the analyst is putting a 21x 2010 avg EPS estimate on CATM. GAXC would have a $3 target price with that same valuation. Then you add in our DVD kiosk exposure/potential.

For the month of December, group average 2009 and 2010 price/earnings multiples increased to 17.9 times and 15.0 times from 16.7 times and 14.1 times, respectively. 2009 and 2010 group average Ebitda multiples also increased to 10.4 times and 8.9 times from 9.9 times and 8.6 times, respectively.
If GAXC was trading at the industry average we would be $2 share just based on the ATM biz.
yup I bought about 50k today in mid 90's
Don't be blinded by what Mcewen tells you about HOC. It's amazing how there are always two sides to the story. Mcewen just has a much bigger mouth.

GAXC Update: http://bit.ly/6c6Don
typo: board meeting is Thursday
Board meeting tomorrow so should hear something within a week or two on CFO and then directors. China trip next week should allow for some added transparency on that initiative.
If you bought stock in any company during the 1st/2nd qtr of 2009 you likely ended the year up 300-500%. During a short term bull market like we are seeing, people get bored, people sell. It's that simple. This story can quickly awaken with a few management elections. Still long. Hoping to get an update when I return from my trip.

Not really. HOC is the reason this stock is so high in the first place. They have been funding us on very good terms for the last couple years, so I'm not about to bash them as GORO could easily be half the current price if the company was forced to raise money through other more dilutive means when the stock was $3-4.
They breakeven at a $5m revenue run rate, or $1.25m/qtr. I believe they will be at breakeven Late Q1/Q2 2010. Because of the buzzyness of the product, its one of those stocks that could trade at $4 without earnings. Check out the FireIce fan page on facebook..its going viral in the fire safety market. 40-50 people/orgs signing up a day.

You probably are a big reason why the stock has moved from ~.60 to .90 if I were a shareholder I would say thanks <-- yeah probably, but I just see it as a layup buy under a dollar. Will earn 13c next year on ATM alone and with an ATM/DVD win that number can improve dramatically. Add a 20 multiple maybe higher and thats the upside.
You might be referring to NCR? The interesting thing is GAXC was actually supposed to be out with the dvd offering a 9 months ago. The reason being was they wanted to find a worthy kiosk manufacterer. A different one then some of the majors were using. We'll likely see a nice new DVD website to go along with this offering at some point as well.
They can do it. It will be interesting to see how they would handle it, but demand isn't the problem.
I've had dinner with George on a couple occasions and he is as conservative as they come. He doesn't say anything unless he means it, especially in PRs.
From todays PR, probably the most important part: DVDs -- "That additional contract wins from new or existing customers would represent upside potential to this schedule"
The reason I'm buying the stock is DVD's and other potential kiosk offerings: I believe that GAXC has a good chance to actually take some chunks of business from big brother (redbox).
I talked to some store owners that I know that use redbox, I know how redbox structures there contracts, I know that MANY aren't happy with redbox. MANY are looking for another solution. When I spoke to management right after the Retail Store conference in Las vegas, they said they could have placed 1000 dvd kiosks. Thats how much demand there was, and half of the prospects already had redbox.
Do you see how much redbox is all over the news? How redbox is golden small cap for many brokerages? I believe 2-3 firms now have CSTR (ie redbox) as their pick for 2010. And CSTR's coin machine business barely inks out a profit. I believe if GAXC can win a large contract (or) a better way of saying this, If they can take a contract away from Redbox I believe you will see a swoon of PR and institutions entering this stock quickly. You might think this is far fetched but I view this as a very likely outcome based on my own dd. It's amazing how many stocks i've been in where no one saw it coming. I haven't always been right but you got to have some balls and some foresight. This is a company that is undervalued regardless, but with a couple pieces of news could be $4 in a hurry.
Only time will tell if I'm right and I'm fine with that. I think I will be.
nice update
I'll ask them about that. i think i know the answer but i will ask.

Also good news for GAXC, Global Hunter initiates Coinstar (CSTR 27.10) with a Buy and sets a $45 tgt, based on strong revenue growth, which could lead to strong margin expansion as it focuses on core competencies in automated retail, especially its Redbox DVD rental business...
It is actually amazing that in this tight credit market, especially for small biz and public micros, that GAXC was able to get this done. Speaks volumes.
