Hey, slick! Yeah, I just have no clue here. I play a lot of online poker, and the one thing I've learned is that if you don't know who the sucker is at the table, it's probably you...lol...Everyone's trying to line their pockets, and sometimes it forces then to do stuff they wouldn't normally do or say. I'd put Rob in that boat. Nice guy, but less than honest at times, IMO.
Hey guys! Coffee here. Just came across this board while looking for possible upcoming metal investments. Sorry to say I have nothing on the bird. Quite frankly, didn't even know it was still listed. Don't talk to Rob anymore. Not sure he would even have a clue. Like most, I'm expecting gold/silver to make a generational move starting in a month or so. If these guys can stay afloat, even this one should make money. Still have all my shares...lol...
PS...ignore 8th at your own peril. It took me years to learn who knows their shite on these boards...he's definitely one of them.
Good luck to all...
Hey, Belgie...good to see the movement here for you guys...hope it goes to the moon!
belgie...Found you guys through complete serendipity. I nearly spit when I saw you and 8th posting. Might join you soon. Kind of waiting for a washout on the juniors. Coffee's percolating...
Belgie...I've got Spud fish and chips in front of me
Dave...agreed...it will be a crying shame if this all goes down and we never meet...let me know if you're ever in my area and we'll hit SPUD and then head over to Duke's for a beer...
dave...I've been able to trade enough lately to buy a new lens and just bought my son a Canon T3i...the money I've lost could have bought him a year at the best New York photography school...lol...what a ride it's been...
Dave...let's just hope they didn't hire penny lawyers...lol...
FIRE TOM KLEIN...the rest will be what it will be...to beat cancer, you've got to cut the cancer out first...
aesop...you got that right...fire his ass, and get on with it...
Dave/Doug...I'm wondering about Peter Hawley in all of this... Peter was well respected in mining circles, but if there's any wrongdoing here on his part, or complicity by truning a blind eye, his rep is going to be muddied for sure...I'd be interested in what he has to say about this...not much would be my guess...
This could get interesting fast...
yeah, T could outscore Gant in his sleep...Man, I haven't been to Duke's in a longggggggg time...that would really be fun in the summer...after a few drinks, we could hit the court over at the lake...lol...
Oh, ye of so little faith...I'll take that bet...SPUDs when we finally meet? I agree that they're not the cream of the crop, but I think they'll take care of first-round business...but, I know where you're coming from...they do not take care of the friggin' ball, that's for sure...
With the Stanford win over Cal today, I predict Dave won't give a hoot where the price goes this week...lol...
Dave...yeah, that's kind of how I see it, too...where I grew up, there was a developer that put together this cool plat around a lake...the homes sold quickly, and they were well done...guess what? The developer sold many of the homes to two different buyers...lol...what the frig was he thinking, that the title company wouldn't catch it?...
Two miilion profit just isn't enough...you got to have four...
ponce...I have heard similar from other sources...I never even factored Panama into the equation, as I figured it would be dropped eventually...Peru...maybe...
dsh...lol...well, maybe they figure we can't handle the truth?
Dave...you out there? Would really like to hear your take on the whole shebang...
4x4...don't blame you at all...to the old-timers here, it feels like deja vu all over again in ways...puts a bit of a stink on everything, no matter what the "truth" is...
dsh/4x4...it looks to me like GPXM smelled a bit of foul play here...this could get really interesting or really ugly or both...
But, at least they are taking the proper steps to keep everyone straight and protect shareholder interests...

("SRK") to perform a Due Diligence Review (the "Review") of the drilling, geological and project data that has been compiled at the Mineral Ridge Gold Project in Nevada.
The purpose of the Review is to independently analyze the data that has been generated by Scorpio Gold on behalf of Mineral Ridge Gold, LLC. Golden Phoenix has authorized this Review for the benefit of its shareholders.
Golden Phoenix currently maintains a thirty percent (30%) interest in the Mineral Ridge Gold Project via its membership interest in Mineral Ridge Gold LLC, the joint venture entity that owns and operates the Mineral Ridge property with Scorpio Gold.
There are two primary parts for the Review: 1) Requested project data that will be provided to SRK for review. 2) SRK geologists will perform a Mineral Ridge site visit to further assess the project.
Upon completion of the Review, SRK will provide a comprehensive report to Golden Phoenix on developments and advancements at Mineral Ridge.

slick...lol...so could I...eom
slick...as an investor, lawsuits are poison...they are doing the right thing to just get these guys off their backs...it sucks, but more growing pains...JMO...check emotions at the door...it's a hard enough go without them...
I wonder if subman ever envisioned this when he started writing about the project oh so long ago...lol...
Hey, Dan...well, it looked to me like GPXM did what they had to do with the financing to get Waterton off their backs...like taking money from a loan shark to pay a hard-money lender...lol...
of course, since we have very few details on the new money, it's hard to say much about it, except that it gives then a little breathing room...
As for the other, it would now seem moot for awhile...like refinancing your home to pay off a first AND a second mortgage AND drawing out a little cash to pay off the cars and that vacation to Hawaii (Northshore) that you shouldn't have taken in the first place...you've kicked the can down the road, but you need to pay the piper at some point...
bob...the new financing kicks the can down the road for awhile, but it much like our country's debt ceiling...at some point, it gets too big to make sense...the fact that they didn't disclose much about the new financing leads one to believe that they probably aren't very good terms...
IMO, this one will take a little while to break .10 and move up, but it will...POG needs to keep on a roll, and a they'll need a few chunks of good news...that should get us to the .12-.13 level...but, it might be awhile...a lot of folks got near doubles from the recent lows...
dave...this is realy good to see...a lot of metal shares breaking out at same time...
Dave...almost makes you cry...lol...great to see...eom
back at ya! Should be an interesting year in so many ways!
Dave...still laughing at your last post on RB...wasted breath, I'm afraid...he don't get it...

Dave...a decent presentation today, I thought...let's see where we go now...

Dave...thanks for that...I posted on the other board...what do you make of the new re-agreement with WEX?
belgie...I agree that this sets up nicely for the run...almost all negativity seems to be priced in at .10...as sentiment changes, we could easily have a triple by year-end...more if POG tops $2,000...
belgie...with the steady buy pattern in the last few hours, it looks to me like the company may still be buying back shares? This could get interesting very soon...looks to me like this is all finely orchestrated to the September gold season...smart...
Here you go, ghymm:
UPDATE 1-Scorpio Mining Q2 silver output nearly doubles
Wed Jul 13, 2011 1:07pm GMT
July 13 (Reuters) - Canada's Scorpio Mining Corp said the amount of silver recovered for the second-quarter nearly doubled on higher production from its flagship Nuestra Senora mine in Mexico.
Recovered silver was up 95 percent at 365,692 ounces, while recovered copper rose 17 percent to 438,529 pounds.
In the second quarter, mill throughput rose 86 percent to 128,674 tonnes from the year-ago quarter.
The company said the large increase in production in year-over-year figures is also partly because 2010 second-quarter throughput was affected by a ball mill failure.
Vancouver-based Scorpio said copper production at the end of this quarter lagged forecasts by 25 percent due to the lower grade of the copper ore.
Shares of Scorpio closed at C$1.46 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Tuesday. (Reporting by Maneesha Tiwari in Bangalore; Editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
