back of the envelope math estimates each 1000Mw facility adds $1-2 to share value.
I agree, let's try to keep the paranoia down and answer questions folks
whatever happened to that tire recycling operation? is it still running? making any money? or did it morph/evolve into more lucrative biofuel production known as USSEC?
Questions for the CC:
is there any plan to license the technology?
it's funny how opinions from one board to another can vary
from silicon investor's LFZA board:
Thanks for the link.
"As for Ihub, they get excited about every stock, lol."
So true. lol
conference call
5W also does investor relations. does this mean redwood is out?
the website you want to look at is http://www.ussec.us/
It includes current and old PR's before the LFZA merger
will USSEC meet the EPAct?
http://www1.eere.energy.gov/vehiclesandfuels/epact/petition/index.html
will USSEC build biorefineries?
http://www.nrel.gov/biomass/biorefinery.html
States are developing plans to increase the energy efficiency of their economies by 25% over 1990 levels by 2012, as required by the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
http://www1.eere.energy.gov/office_eere/pdfs/sep_fs.pdf
the current annual US soybean crop is not enough to meet the US annual demand for gasoline (at 5 gallons biofuel produced per bushel) but remember that this process works on more than just soybeans. also the average yields per acre for soybeans are rising in the last few years. 2004 was a record soybean crop at 3.14 billion bushels. at 5 gallons per bushel that equates to over 15.5 billion gallons of fuel.
at 50/50 mix of gasoline to biofuel, this can produce 31 billion gallons of mixed fuel. US consumption of gasoline in 2004 was 140 billion gallons, so clearly there is still a shortfall in terms of volume. However, if the 50/50 biofuel mix has more energy than 100% traditional gasoline, demand for gasoline might decrease if the biofuel generates better gas mileage.
2004 corn crop was 11.8 billion bushels, but I don't know the yields of biofuel per bushel for corn.
the following link has some great info on traditional biofuels

heard the news that the deal was off with GRLY earlier that morning, and was looking for news of a new deal with another company.
there are still some things that remain to be proven, which keeps this stock a speculative play
will the patents be approved? and if approved, will they be challenged, and if challenged are they defensible?
will a superior technology be developed that is more efficient, cost effective, etc?
can the company get the funding to build the reactors, install the infrastructure it needs, get product to market, etc?
SEGV is up 1900% on 1000 shares.
no relation to USSEC though.
momos are gone, the stock is on its own merits now
why is someone saying they're going to be working on the website such a big deal? chill out man
today's news picked up on marketgainer.com
http://www.marketgainer.com/home/index.php?id=21
congratulations westeffer, if you posted the truth about buying 500,000 shares, you're 1 penny away from a millionaire on this one.
if this is the real deal, the big money is by holding
read this comments from today's PR and think about what he is saying (and who is saying it).
Kelmer R. Smith, Jr. PE, CEM, CPP, President of I.C. Thomasson MS Operations, stated, "For the last several months, I have had the privilege of assisting USSEC in preparing a Basis of Design Document for their Natchez, MS, production plant as well as a feasibility study for their Vidalia, LA, power generation station. I have personally witnessed the production of the USSEC biofuels and have seen one formulation demonstrated as a 50/50 fuel in a variety of unmodified diesel engines and a second 100% formulation demonstrated in several gasoline engines. In my opinion, USSEC will produce the next generation biofuels with significant, positive socio-economic impacts. I.C. Thomasson Associates, Inc. is elated to be chosen as the design professional to assist USSEC in implementing this ground-breaking technology."
Laforza Automobiles, Inc. (LFZA) - Friday's shares increased 11.54% to $0.1450 per share with a total of 6,215,807 shares traded. The company announced the construction of the first United States 100% green power public utility. John Rivera, CEO of U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. "USSEC," stated, "With the opening of USSEC's new 500,000 square-foot biofuel facility in Natchez, MS., we will be supplying 100% of the power and electricity consumed by the city of Vidalia, Louisiana through the Vidalia Power and Light Public Utility. Since the electricity will be produced from 100% bio-waste product derived from the production of USSEC's organic 737 fertilizer created from soybeans, the power generated is renewable, recycled and green." Mayor Hiram Copeland stated, "By using green energy, it will help lower Vidalia's energy cost and attract more industry in to the area. Vidalia is known as the 'City on the Move,' and with green power we are helping to clean up the environment today." Commenting further, Mr. Rivera stated, "Our unique biofuel can be blended 50/50 with either gas, diesel, or biodiesel to widen the range of utilization and also improve the overall performance of the blends."

I was wondering the same thing zardiw
it sounds as if the byproduct of the Natchez facility will be used to power Vidalia.
would also be interesting to know who gets the green tags, which can also be a significant source of revenue
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_tags
thank-you zardiw
I am long this stock, and I've been following USSEC for several months, probably before most of the name-callers on this board ever even heard of it.
(and no, I am not mod from RB, LOL)
that's a brilliant theory burnshorty
what exactly have I bashed other than a couple of the photos and correcting the number of A/S that was posted in the ibox?
are you really that insecure about your investment? amazing.
thanks zardiw, it's cool
it's your board so you decide, just thought I'd give an honest opinion. didn't realize i'd get attacked for it, guess I touched a nerve with some people.
gee thanks westeffer for your opinion
shouldn't you be driving down to natchez now so you can "help" Rivera with all your knowledge? LOL
poundwise, unlike people who only seem to want to attack others (i.e westeffer) I will try to answer your question with information instead of an insult.
the USSEC merger with CYBR fell thru after the SEC de-registered the stock and the BK hearings were continually delayed. USSEC then sought an acquisition by GRLY, but apparently terms couldn't be reached so here we are with USSEC reverse merging into LFZA.
it's called constructive criticism
if you can't take it, don't read it
is this a place to post opinions or just a pump and dump board?
if you think I care one iota about membermarks, popularity, alias names or creation dates, you're wrong. I care about exchanging information and making money.
no want to bring them down because
a) they are not impressive
b) they may not be what the company wants to expose to the public. if the company wanted them out on the internet, they would post them on their website
c) the picture of redwood consultants in front of a plane is informative to investors......how?
it's filed with Nevada state
https://esos.state.nv.us/SOSServices/AnonymousAccess/CorpSearch/CorpDetails.aspx?lx8nvq=gzvpJ0015eC8EKwKPaTO7g%253d%253d
1 billion shares
correction, the A/S was increased to 1 billion today
what's the enormous news, a 10:000 for 1 reverse split? why are there so many outlandish statements made here?
good idea, should remove the pics of the lab also, not impressive IMO
the process works on more types of biomass than just soybeans. take a look at corn for example. the US corn crop is over 11 billion bushels each year.
they can't issue more than what is authorized.
shares authorized is 500M
