thanks
Baz
Marty260: you will-A- not be helping out OUR company but-B- rather giving money to possibly just a trader or-C-a disgruntled X-shareholder,or-D-an Arbitrager trying to make a tenth of a cent!I think A+* is our best option(to help our company financially) if you intend to stay invested for the future either long or longer.
Hope everyone has a happy ,heathy, and safe New years at least till next new years.
Cheers
We are not saying he won't have to,but,it will be timing as to when he HAS to, and probably no earlier then that. This is what we are assuming.
No I wouldn't need to know (it would be nice)and I don't expect to here that news either.Financially if I can by Jan 31st 2013 I will do what I can,to help the company and myself....otherwise I could buy now and not support the company with guaranteed rights at .075 to purchase later. As a shareholder for 11 yrs it doesn't make sense to not support the company and lose out on future benefits for a low cost rights offering(which might be below market price).
I might be wrong but, with your line of thinking about the unsubscribed shares, wouldn't Offer/chrome have to have subscribed to their fullest first before taking up pro rata any unsubscribed shares available?
Can Offer not subscribe and then wait for unsubscribed shares at his pro rata share? seems unlikely to me...bwtfdik

2IRAs
thank you for the simpler explanation.I am still concidering the rights offering but we shall see if I will be able to financially.
happy Holidays to you and family
and all the best to you and All the ERHC family too.
Thanks Krom
Krom thanks...I understand that but, without a dividend pay out to shareholders then I can be made whole by share price appreciation and it doesnt look like a dividend is in the makings. How else are profits shared?
question
At 300,000 shares how am I diluted (without a reverse split) if I am just relying on SP increase?
so without buying another 96,000 shares @.075 or spending another 7200.00, and the price goes up to say 0.22. I did the math and my cost base will only go down, but still I'm over double the .22 cents of appreciation.I know I will have more shares relative to the overall shares outstanding if I participate in the rights offering but I will be happy to see SP appreciation steadily upwards. How am I really diluted if the share price climbs above my base point?
thanks
it is supposed to be mailed out to shareholders stay tuned!
happy holidays
Kenya specifically starts on page 12 although in total it's worth a read.
Here is some interesting reading about east Africa oil and gas, from Casey Research, who were the first to follow Africa oil corp.
Happy holidays Gang!

based on 300,000 shares do I get 100,000rights to by @.075...after buying another 300,000 shares excuse my ignorance.....could someone explain please?what would be my over all cost
thanks anyone
2IRAS....providing the share price stays above .075?
one of the main reasons "WE" buy companies like ERHC is because of the future out look for $.10. I couldn't afford AOI for $7.55 even if it's highs are almost a 50% gain. "WE" can amass a fleet of shares for a reasonable sum as opposed to other companies that are further along, along with their SP.
Krom
1 of the vital differences is that AOI is part of the Lundin group who actively support their companies.(very deep pockets of euros, not Nigerian Nairas.Their ability to finance their projects is less problematic with Lundins name behind them.I hope ERHC gets to that point as I am betting with you and others on ERHC's future success.
Cheers
hi all
happy and healthy holidays of all types to everyone for now and hence forth.

Addax Petroleum in Nigeria
Addax Petroleum has been active in Nigeria since 1998 and has developed into the country’s 5th largest oil producer. The company currently produces in excess of 90,000 bbl/d in Nigeria.
Addax Petroleum’s Nigeria producing assets include OML123 and OML 126 offshore Nigeria and OML 124 onshore Nigeria.
The company also holds interests in the deep offshore Block 1 of the Joint Development Zone between Sao Tomé & Principe and Nigeria.
again only listing Block 1 in the JDZ?
nice to see you back sort of.....SSC
hopefully you are fully reinstated soon.
Baz
Troy,thanks(but)
This is true Tryoty PROVIDING they maintain operatorship of their blocks YEOW!!
at least the timelines should be much shorter onshore.
Baz
yes criticize....but it doesn't look good when you are off base as NOW ERHC is in a position to be an OPERATOR with control of it's properties(if erhc becomes operator).
I have been here 11 yrs and i'm not happy about the past, but can see hope for the future, which is all we have left.Instead of blaming ERHC blame yourself for not taking profits along the way, this I blame MYSELF for NOT ERHC.
this is My opinion and open for criticism!
snayeman:
Don't compare a company that had NO control of it's past drilling programs which were OPERATED by another company."IF" and when ERHC has control over it's drilling program as the OPERATOR then maybe your criticism will be well founded,up till now, you are comparing apples to oranges....if you think about it!
Baz
the starcrest deal would not have worked out in ERHC's hands as they were under threat from the alphabet soup gang, so to get the deal in Chromes hands was the most expedient way to not lose that bid and award. This is the African model(Krombacher's Razor...lol), to allow officials to own a part in THEIR own country's wealth or get raped and pilledged like Big Oil sticks it to THEM!
sorry that you are not making the rules? Here I thought your sympathies were for the Underdogs of Africa!
Baz
krom
you confused me into buying NOW!
LOL...too many scenarios
bird in the hand theory..
nice to have you back(seriosly..lol..)
Baz
P.S. I set the .105 but went to the water closet, and, by the time I came back I had to settle on .108 as I had to raise bid....it's only pennies now!!!

Krom
you are right about the comparison size for BCO111 and Manga Blocks. Not sure about the SQ/M vs SQ/K issue, though the size should not be in question(seems the maps I have found all show Manga larger than BOC111).
not dismissing it.
rather trying to convert to sq/M
Manga aprox 6,870 sq/M
BDS aprox 16,145 sq/M
I guess the issue is what measurements are to be taken ,either sq/K's or sq/M's
thanks Krom
Good maps are hard to find for Chad
Krom
which maps are you measuring from?
I'm having a hard time finding 1 with a good key to work from.
thanks
baz
LOL...

It showed up in my private mail....maybe you hastedly hit the wrong button!
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here....LOL

LOL!

Kingpindg
that's funny! I can't remember discussing this here before.I think this is the first I have heard on this, although it says in Oranto's FAQ 2009 (small lol), but furthers my suspicion as to who is backing us when we bid for Blocks "WE" (sorry Umbra..lol)shouldn't be in line for perusing "OUR" financials....(serenity now!)
thanks....Baz
