Anyone want to comment on the volume?
OK, I will....Market Watch showed over 8 mil shares traded and then it just dropped down to 4.8 million....Yahoo Finance also showed 4.8 mil....strange, No?
This company can’t do anything right? Cant file required documents, Geez.
The company previously reported in its Form 12b-25 filed with the SEC on March 12, 2024 that the company was unable to file the Form 10-Q within the prescribed time period due to the need to restate and file certain prior period financial statements as a result of the continued classification of the company’s 1.250% Exchangeable Senior Notes due 2026 as long-term liabilities following an event of default, as more fully described in the company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the SEC on March 12, 2024.
Under Nasdaq rules, the company has 60 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice, or until May 20, 2024, to submit a plan to regain compliance with the Rule.
The real question is how much are our production facilities worth in another companies hands? A company with projects in all stages of development ready to go that will fill the facilities both manufacturing and PD. An entity that can come and cut top management, sales, HR and bring in their own people by implementing extreme synergies. How much? I think more than we think.
Think what the margins would be implementing synergies from a large established pharmaceutical company
Stock price was in the 20's when the convertible note compliance failure occurred.
Anyone else wondering how many short sellers who rode the price all the way down had insider knowledge of the eventuality of what occurred today?
Excellent point and should have been obvious to me. Thanks Hayward
The Acceleration Notice stipulates, among other things, that (i) the Company did not remove the restrictive legend on the 2026 Notes by March 17, 2022 as required under the indenture governing the 2026 Notes (the “2026 Notes Indenture”), (ii) due to such failure, additional interest has accrued thereafter at a rate of 0.50% per annum (the “Additional Interest”), (iii) such Additional Interest has not been paid by the Company as of the date of the Acceleration Notice, which constitutes an event of default under the 2026 Notes Indenture (the “Event of Default”), and (iv) such holder is the beneficial owner of at least 25% in aggregate principal amount of the outstanding 2026 Notes and therefore has the right to accelerate all of the 2026 Notes.
The Company did not receive any notices and was not otherwise made aware of the Event of Default prior to receipt of the Acceleration Notice, and did not have an opportunity to cure the Event of Default at the time of receipt of the Acceleration Notice.
anyone have any info on the pre market rise to $9.04 on 138 shares?
So are you prepared to wait 3 to 6 years to get a tenfold increase in the share price if you believe in Nick and what he had to say?

I echo your sentiments and cannot listen to the call given my current level of disappointment. NEGATIVE margins about sums it up for me.
Clearly, some institutions and or large investors have had some prior knowledge of the results leading to the beatdown of the share price leading up to the announcement or did their algos just alert them to the likely dismissal from the S&P 600 and subsequent selling before the news.
A bigger concern (among many) now is who would buy this stock if more institutions engage in tax loss selling before the end of the year. Will we get into another reverse split scenario.
A part of me would be happy with a buyout now at almost any price. Sad.
We playing with fire here. If we don't increase rev fast we risk someone swooping in and buying us for a price nobody will like.
It makes no sense for the stock to be down 6% making new 52 week lows on a good news PR. Really smells like something fishy going on.

I was able to use the 16 digit control number and am listening to the meeting
Margins
Reposting my post from a few days ago. I know there are some on this board with the knowledge of how gross margins are calculated in this sector and why it is done this way.
"Can someone with better knowledge of the biologics manufacturing business help me to understand the margin issue here.
In my career in the food business, the gross margin calculation was purely; sales, cost of goods, and inventory change (Sales - COG +/- inventory change).
Other various fixed and variable operating expenses were captured on different lines in the P&L.
I do not understand why various expansion related costs (i.e.- underutilized capacity) seem to be being included in the what I perceive to be the gross margin calculation.
This seems to be clouding the numbers around the profitability (or lack thereof) of our actual product costs vs what we are selling the products for which would tell us if competition is forcing us to sell products below a cost at which we can eventually be profitable.
Thanks in advance for any help here."

But Nick has to show that he can start making the kind of margins they were projecting early on when they started with the loan and expansions!
The little bear has 312 ;posts on this board and not a one on any other. Seems obsessed
Tried to access the Seeking Alpha article and got the info below which says it was removed due to material errors?

Nice find indeed Preciouslife.
My greatest regret from the PPHM days is that we never really got to find out what Bavituximab could have added to cancer treatment/therapies due to a lack of partnering and sufficient funding for relevant trials. Do not know if the partnering never happened due to greed of prior regime or general lack of interest/belief in the MAB from big pharma.
Cest la vie.
What will you do with your portfolio after the final up leg in the markets you are predicting happens?
Expansion on track and business growing steadily
Associated lower margins and current quarter small loss could be a big headwind in the short term for stock price.
Right or wrong, connected or not to their business models, CTLT is dragging
us down with it as are some other bio's.
Exactly! And the news will not be pretty!
I agree Bifest
Market manipulators who know how to make money in both directions will have little bearing on the eventual value of this company/stock.
A chart of the last three months shows a number of significant swings in both directions in a range mostly between $15-$19.
Patience will be rewarded in my opinion
Just saw something from 2 days ago showing that Argus lowered their target price on CDMO to $16 while maintaining a neutral rating.
Could this triggered/influenced the selloff these past few days?
We have been in a trading range roughly between $15-$19 for quite some time (occasionally we break a bit above or below for a short period).
My guess is that there are those with the means and smarts to make money in both directions by moving the stock up and down as fits their profiteering agenda on any given day or week.
The size of the daily swings on what is usually low volume is a testament to how easy it is to manipulate this stock for those with that ability and agenda to match.
I see no fundamental change to the growth potential or trajectory of this company so while it is painful to watch the gains evaporate so quickly time and time again, I think the mid to long term prospects remain strong.
Given the above, I would love to see the shorts get burned with some needle moving news.
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were no party affiliations. Everyone took responsibility for improving their own situations. Judgement was non existent. Leaders were chosen for their goodness, morality and strength of character. Everyone tried to contribute to making this world a better place and didn’t place that sole responsibility on elected officials. We all became the stewards for future generations and didn’t get so self absorbed. Can you imagine? CDMO will contribute to that possibility for all of us. I believe it is that powerful an investment. All we have to do is change our focus. It will never be a perfect world because I know I get caught up in taking sides at times and complaining when I perceive things as less than optimal. But I try to catch myself and ask myself, “ What am I doing to make things better for all?” Can you imagine?
Your assessment is spot on IMO and mirrors the conversation I was having with a fellow investor last night after the earnings announcement and call. I expected a small pullback on the news of a good and solid (but not outstanding) quarter and believe the share price will stay in a $14-$19 range for some time. Short term machinations of the various forces manipulating the price up and down on little volume have little bearing on my view or strategy and merely make for some good fodder for posts on the board.
The company is steadily executing on their plan which should lead to the scenarios and prices Axe called for in his note. GLTA fellow longs
Is this a signal for today's trading direction?
Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
I wish you the best in all future endeavors.

Shaping up to be another epic TCLN/PPHM/CDMO earnings report! I'm betting single digit share price by the end of next week!
We are all sick of it and participate in this forum largely to escape the current madness that pervades much of our society and the world.
The recent spate of political posts started with a couple that blamed recent portfolio declines on one side of the political spectrum. I am not trying to disparage anyone's beliefs as all are free to live in whatever fantasy world we want to create for ourselves but I suggest we stick to CDMO's future prospects on this forum which I continue to believe are excellent regardless of which way the political winds are blowing.
BTW-I believe perceived differences between us are highly exaggerated and exacerbated by those in politics who stand to benefit from our division. I find most of my fellow Americans (of both/all parties) to be somewhat socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
Single digits coming! NOTHING was blowout about this earnings report. All in line with analysts estimates and a slight miss on projected revenues.
Already sub $14 and headed LOWER!

I am a relative newbie with only 13 years invested but it feels like 25.
Dr Thorpe and the promise of Bavituximab got me interested and excited for major breakthroughs in cancer treatment as well as an opportunity for an early retirement.
My how things have changed

I think the recent low will be the bottom for CDMO.
