Thanks for the reply, WG. Over the years, two things have happened - CTs are trading and all shares - preferred and common - remain in trading accounts. The so called OBS.
CTs first - they are contract bound, by law per their respective prospectuses, to be paid in full in this type of situation. And it is the full monty plus.
As far as the other issues of securities, I have no dog in that hunt. Think about this - in your trading account, are your preferreds still showing up, eh? If so, then one would surmise that Pappy will roll with an existing share base upon reemergence. Been saying that for years.
At the end of the day, WG, WAMU first, then Pappy. Remember, it's still all about politics. But all here who hold will be good - just taking too gotdamn long - lol.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and laugh at the Mets - where's Casey Stengel when ya need him, eh?
Seems not many folks who have been here from '09 remember what happened during the political takedown. Wasn't pretty and mainly silent. But, at the time, folks were buying this and that and loading the boat but not understanding what happened. This was a long term play, so, lemme preach on it.
Pappy over the years only put out info on the distros coming to the classes being satisfied - never will be paid in full. Yet, nothing on the plans for reemergence. Loads of speculation, but the one thing that was consistent was one had to look across the pond as that is where Pappy made the majority of their money. Think tax rates.
The last two legacy plays are coming to an end. WAMU first, and you can go on that board to see what's going on. Pappy has to wait it's turn. Can't have two good companies come back from BK and spill the beans on the thieves that took them down - read political. Nor will we ever get the truth from the thieves. Only money.
At the end of the day, I'm not worried one bit on Pappy. The full monty plus for all who are here. And never mind the bollocks and naysayers - just ain't worth it.
Roll Tide
I don't have PM, Goodie, and thanks for the reply. Especially the messin' part - lol.
Goodie, I will posit this to you. Read the prospectus that you are invested in. Full disclosure, I am boat loaded with all four. Towards the end of each document - page 20 or so - it explains what happens in a BK. Easy to research and we get the full monty plus.
I've said before that this play is political - just like WAMU. But dribs and drabs are emerging in both plays that suggest a very profitable outcome. Watch the news, not one who doesn't have a dog in the hunt.
Roll Tide
Go Leafs Go
Nothing going on for quite a while. I know why - WAMU first, then us. If youse don't get that, sorry. You'll still reap massive benefits for being here. Watch the Cup runs and phuc the Mets - lol.
The usual lull with Pappy. Used to it over the years with no info, except from across the pond where the money is made. Positive outcome here - only the full monty plus. Watch WAMU in the coming weeks as that'll tell the tale of the seized entities and is related to Pappy as nothing will get out in the press as to the unlawful grabbing of Pappy. Just money in the account and then have fun with that. There are no coincidences in this business.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and watch as teams battle for the oldest prize in North America - the Stanley Cup.
Nothing on TDA/Scottrade, Wayne. Relax. Just a glitch somewhere.
Just want news - all the rest is bollocks.
Nothing substantial - just the usual Pappy cock with a distro announcement. But it's always across the pond to finish first. Then this will end.
It is just still laughable. But that thing does not matter in this play - oh, by the way, did I remind you of the boatload of Bennies I got and he didn't - Tee-Hee. And the boatload from Pappy and WAMU that are coming.
Guess he ain't the dirt rock he thinks he is. A shame. But I do get a laugh when I take him off iggy for a bit.
Nice dance through history with the deuce. The website, when he had a scam going, before your time, was a disaster and it's a laugh every time he shows up.
A shame, really, a bitter old man who has no relevance anymore who tries to regain it on a message board. Maybe he ought to try to make some real money. Got it, deuce?
I think I forgot to tell ya, Stosh, that I'm still riding the FnF boat that others missed. I didn't know that there were that many Bennies in this country. And two more plays to go...fancy that, eh?
There is only one thing missing in this play that no one seems to talk about - Pappy in America. Where the BK was filed. That is the only and final focus. Yep, going great guns across the pond, but not where it counts and get this over with. Yet, slowly but surely, the full monty plus is coming - WAMU first, then us. Bank it - but not in Missouri - cads and bonders reside there.
In the meantime, dodged the tornados and have a beer - Sinatras are better sitting down.
You know, Argus, this all happened way back when the prospectuses for all four were written. In cases like a BK, only the full monty plus to the shareholders. Of course, I been mentioning the political angle, which holds things up. Those buggers have a ton of Karma coming down on them.
But if you look at the figures, that 2.4 is roughly what it would take to kick us to the curb - happily - and roll into reorg with the OBS. Nothing more that that.
And one other thing - I believe some big money players - ala WAMU to a degree, but that was solved - are getting fed up with this CT nonsense. Just a feeling, as hybrids like us served their purpose, but no longer. They want something clean out of Pappy and then they can screw it up. But pay us and we'll be long gone.
Just like peeling a gotdamn onion, Argus. Never seems to end, but it does and will to our benefit.
In the meantime, this is a twist on a Sinatra. Learned the phrase in Germany years ago, with variations, of course. Hold yer thumb and forefinger in the shape of a gun - relax liberals - and translate this: Ich habe nur zwei Sinatra - die erste und die letzte. Dazwischen zählt nicht.
You got CTs, eh? So, shut up and keep digging - lol. All is well, Stosh. WAMU first then Pappy.
I'm thinking that Pappy is going to follow suit with the final legacy play and merge with a ton of NOLs to use. And I'm looking at this through the prism of politics, not business. Remember, all three were taken down without TARP and if word got out - it already is - many folks would be in the hoosegow. But Karma takes care of that - 10x worse.
Yep, all paid or have arrangements to get paid and that does not affect what is about to happen. The two series of preferred and common are left. Lot of money flowing this year and Pappy is in the mix for sure.
Hmmm, no posts today so I'll be the first. Told youse before about the final two legacy plays - WAMU first then Pappy. Simple as that to the full monty plus. Keep watching. Youse mugs and muggettes can figure that clue out I'm sure.
It's always been the full monty plus - no matter what anyone said here to the contrary. Just takes a tad bit more time - WAMU first, then us.
Always like the back and forth, Argus. Good man you are.
Pappy will take a bit more time to get going once again in the land of the free because of the brave - the news is WAMU for the next couple of months.
But here's a posit - the second legacy play is emerging - why shouldn't the third, eh? Just sayin'.
In the meantime, NO Sinatras as I'm taking a break to get up on the ladder to trim that gotdamn oak tree. Gotta love the South. Only 22*c today - Hah Hah.
Figured I'd wake ya up, Argus - lol. All in good fun. And Mum, up in Barrie, always called me a shite disturber but she loved me anyway - go figure - lol.
Lookie here, the WAMU play is gonna make loads of folks wealthy. And Pappy is next. Aboot time.
Roll Tide
Go Leafs Go
Nothing to it, Stosh. Take the macro view as in the WAMU play.
Lemme preach on it. These last two legacy plays were not forthcoming in information from their respective HQ for years. Both were both badda -beep- badda boop - badda bop. Now, since WAMU came out, and boy, you had better get a financial planner, I'm saying that the harness is off on these final two plays and off they go and all the vultures will reap the benefits.
Comes down to one thing - the new Sheriff and the tax cuts. Timing is right.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and where's that damn Canuck who is supposed to cut my grass and pick up dog shite, eh? lol
Relax, Argus fer chrissakes - lol, By the way, it did snow here and the whole city was shut down for two days in January. Ya right, 3 centimeters - stop traffic on the 401 or the DVP.
Listen, look at the Gulf Coast - Mobile area, Gulf Shores. Just look. Prices on homes are nice, taxes are low and folks are friendly.
More waiting, but what the hell.
Doesn't matter, Argus. The second of the legacy plays finally merged. Took some time, no doubt, but all there will be rewarded. As in the first one - FnF - sorry deuce.
But I will posit this. All three of the plays did not get TARP. Now, with the new Sheriff and the money people around him, it's time to own up and stop this shite. It happened today and will happen with Pappy.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and keep shoveling - lol.
Roll Tide
Go Leafs Go
And back at ya, Argus. It just seems like a natural progression to me with the door finally being opened and companies come back. I did see that Campbell's Soup is closing their Toronto plant, losing 400 jobs, and coming back. Just sayin', but maybe a businessman would be a good choice for PM. And I can say that as I have family in that city as well as Barrie. I like our guy better. Nuff of that crap.
Welcome here anytime, Argus. Always like an illegal to pick the crops and pick up dog shite so I don't have to - lol. But you get free beer after the job.
I don't know if you noticed, but the whole of the world's markets are doing gangbusters. That's something else I'm following. Like all of us, just want Pappy to end this shite. And we still wait.
In the meantime, till the soil and pick up dog shite until Argus gets here - lol.
OT
Tell ya what, Stosh. I'm waiting for the coming meetings with the commissioner and owners of the national felons league and see what they do to stop the protests of these illiterate social justice warrior thugs against my anthem and flag. I want to see football. I'll just wait and if nothing happens, never watch again.
In the meantime, NASCAR starts this coming Sunday. And all they do is present the colors, everyone stands, there's a prayer or invocation, a proper rendition of the anthem and maybe a military fly over, depending on where the venue is and time of day. That'll do until November.
Roll Tide.
There was always two things I was confident in the play, Argus. One was the prospectus guarantees and to always look across the pond as that is where Pappy kept the dosh.
One other thing puzzled me with the distros over the years. All of those stewbums were satisfied in full yet it seemed there were going to be paid in full at the expense of the CTs. All it would take is around 2.5B to get the full monty plus and we all go home. Now, the info is out. So, where does that leave us, eh?
Lemme preach on it. The new Sheriff and the tax cuts. Why was Pappy overseas? Taxes. Why is this info getting out now? Taxes. I'll tell ya, you phucs in OBS better get a financial advisor lined up. Pappy is coming home and so is the full monty plus.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and get the soil ready for planting in a fortnight or so.
Roll Tide.
All nothing burgers - we are screwed.
Fooled you - lol. The full monty plus.
Roll Tide
Fly Iggles Fly (no riots and destruction yet according to my sources)
You right there, massa - your first sentence.
We get the full monty and you get bubkiss, deuce. Howse about that?
And that is over in Great Britain - not here in America with Pappy. Nice post, Zulual, but the effect does not hit us yet. I've always said to look across the pond first so that Pappy can get going - then it's us.
This is good news; however, since there is no barrister with experience in finance posting, I tend to trust the comments, analysis and speculation from folks who have a stake here over the thing that has no shares.
These developments are just a start and if it's a reorg or payoff, does not matter to me. It'll be the full monty plus.
Interesting point there, deuce. Since you hold no shares, it's futile to think you would sway us vultures.
Can pajama boys be over sixty?
How about we do this - what are the five words, if you live in the South - make you cringe, eh?
"Hold my beer - watch this".
Roll Tide.
I think a macro view is prudent here, WG. Lemme preach on it.
And a trip through the past is necessary and you can find these answers out easily.
#1 filed BK first - the one with all the dosh.
#2 filed second - 32-8 - and was subject to the 75-25 split, not #1.
Waiting, just like the Pappy play is hard. I'm not worried in the least.
Roll Tide.
Thanks for the kind words, Argus. I'm with you - the final two legacy plays have to be done this year as I don't see any impediment for reemergence with Pappy nor a merger/other deal with WAMU. All the legal shite is over. And your find put an end to some of the delays we've been experiencing over the years.
I just check in here every other day or so - not a big priority. Get something else to do - me, it's thirty days until planting season and I got some of the box gardens ready to accept beefsteak tomato, cucumber, onion and bell pepper. Plus doing the poop scooping boogie - aka picking up dog shite - is fun - NOT lol.
In the meantime, have a few Sinatras and relax - ole Jersey is coming off the wagon - he needs it - lol.
I was looking at it only through the eyes of common and preferred holders, Argus. And the black robed schmucks did good. Hence, my comment on Pappy has no value as they are not trading at the moment. Nothing more than that.
I know Pappy has value and is growing everyday. I got plenty of value, if I choose to exercise a sell and I'm sure a lot of people do. But I won't as the full monty is coming. Still all good, Argus.
Maybe they are democrats - go figure.
Looks like some of those black robed bandits are helping us out, Argus. Stopping something that, at the moment, is stupid. Three reasons. Pappy does not have any value at the moment so how can you assess what the restricted stock is worth? Wait a minute - common and preferred are locked up in OBS - no value and should not they be paid? And then the CTs come first - the full monty plus.
They can fight another day, but Pappy has to reemerge first. What say you, eh?
Always nice to see you perspective, Wayne, on things. The one thing that is irritating is that Pappy in America has a STFU attitude. Nothing comes out of there except a distro date. And we have to look across the pond for any info.
But I will tell ya this - it'll be paid off in full per each prospectus or paid off in full in shares and share price upon reemergence. Now, how will that play with the OBS - no dog in that hunt -so what about those folks, eh? Taken care of.
The last two legacy plays were so huge and so corrupt when they were taken down (no TARP) that not a single word will be in the media. Just money in our accounts. WAMU is bubbling. All the best.
Roll Tide #17
You know, Mojo, I know who that thing is and what that thing did over the last decade and a half. Despicable.
That being said, that thing has no shares here and you know the games being played. Rest assured, we'll get the full monty plus.
But you've been around the block before, Mojo. All I look at is across the pond where Pappy placed most of the money. It'll come to us vultures. When - dunno. But it'll come.
Oh, look again.
And by the way, should debt be repaid, deuce, eh?
Let's start on a simple note that CTs are a hybrid security - debt in a BK and equity going forward. A simple premise, deuce.
Either way, we get the full monty plus and none of your spin will change that.
Hey, SCA. It's real simple, Mate. I researched the CTs and found the 'prospectus guarantee' on all four was a place to be in early '09. So, I loaded the boat on all four flavors and even with the 3k buy at $.30 from the buy high sell low guy failed banker from Missouri a few years ago, the portfolio per share is $.0351 cents.
You are smart and can figure out the rest.
