GBR where do you see aiWARE integrated with bedrock?
One can dream Veritone is providing the technology for this. Isn’t NBC a long time customer?
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna159108
RS making bold statements makes me feel that like an announcement of some sort must be coming soon. Seems like with Veritone Tracker they went to aggressively scale it with current LEA customers and others. Hopefully something more than just the typical introduction of a new solution PR.
Working with AWS and Deloitte to deploy at scale in North America is encouraging.
Seems encouraging but no mention of aiWARE. Hopefully this is part of the plan to start extracting more money from all the LEA’s.
I've been messing around with Amazon Bedrock and its geared towards customizing Foundational Models. You can use your own data and fine tune the model to your specific use case. It doesn't seem to offer the cognitive models that aiWARE has. So again its wait and see approach if they release anything with Amazon.
Agreed. I think you mentioned it but I think they will sell Veritone One.
I guess it’s a tangible partnership and not just words. Hopefully they will provide updates on how the “vault” is doing. This sort of thing should’ve been in place when they were promoting the veriverse.
I think the CAA partnership is interesting but will probably take at least take a year for something to materialize. It does feel like they are getting in on the ground floor of an exciting opportunity.
Yes I can log in. It seems like they've been busy pushing out updates.
Agreed I think the CAA announcement is significant. I wish they had this in place before releasing the Veriverse. I thought for sure the stock was going to move higher.
Great ya that definitely doesn’t look good for aiWARE
Is Deloitte Cortex AI still a thing?
If that's the case with Bedrock being an orchestration platform for LLMs. In my inexperienced opinion LLMs are the 1st gen int the ai revolution and aiWARE cognitive abilities is 2nd gen. It would somewhat explain the move to consulting to help get customers in the door and help them adopt the technology to eventually use aiWARE. Idk but the earnings call obviously wasn't a homerun but I think they are going in the right direction. I guess it will really depend on the non-dilution deal they keep teasing.
Exactly doesn’t make sense. As KVM’s mentions all the time aiWARE is an internal product. Which seems to be reinforced by the that aws article you just posted. Veritone should be the last company that should be using Bedrock if aiWARE is working.
Ya I don’t get how analysts aren’t curious to ask about what’s going on with aiWARE. That’s the main reason I bought in and and it feels like they’ve basically been silent on it for over a year now.
Thanks for sharing that article seems interesting but need to read over it.
The did double down on the non-dilutive financing option for next quarter. Also the 3 new fed customers and RS's interesting comment on the DOJ at more to come from the initial $15 million contract. Still barely any mention of aiWARE or any sort of clarity of customer use cases. Overall looks like the second half of the year we could see the stock price start to rise substantially. But agree more of the same with a little bit more concrete enthusiasm moving for I think.
Can't read the article but hopefully Veritone is getting some of this

Well hopefully the government still feels they can trust Veritone. Makes me curious what service the Federal Reserve was using. Maybe more redaction? Who knows but seems like 1.66 billion documents the government is beyond just a trial use case. And this is just two servers.
True but I think it still includes "accidental occurrences". Seems like sensitive data was accessed so I feel like they should've filed. Either way I think the public is pretty numb to these sort of events since the happen all the time. Disappointing to see that that it was poor management practices by Veritone.
Under the new disclosure rules, SEC registrants are required to make a disclosure within 4-business days once a cybersecurity incident is deemed by the company, to be material to a reasonable investor. Cybersecurity incidents include unauthorized occurrences and accidental occurrences not caused by a maliscious attack.

If the breach happened on March 23 an exception must've applied to allow them to not file an 8k. Like a risk to national security. Interesting to see both the Fed and Homeland Security I feel like haven't been mentioned before.
Under the new SEC cyber incident reporting they should be filing an 8k about the hack if it's material, which it seems like it is. Or I wonder since Microsoft is the cloud provider it falls on them to create the 8k.
Oops I read it as the national bank of Canada
https://www.veritone.com/press-releases/veritone-and-opexus-team-up-to-provide-ai-solutions/
Seems significant. “Veritone Redact uses pre-processing and machine learning to support the AI Assist Module by finding, flagging and redacting sensitive information in audio and video data, which may include audio calls between customer service representatives and customers, internal company video conversations or on-premise surveillance footage.”
It’s also the biggest bank in Canada with 28k employees.
For what’s worth CDAO is listed on the most recent presentation.

I agree somewhat I think the only saving grace is if the DOD's been using aiWARE and that's why nothing has been marketed. We know the JAIC was using aiWARE just a question if now the CDAO is still using it.
Veritone talks about "engine" capabilities. I wonder if Bedrock can do the same or if its just LLM models.
Seems like they've already surpassed aiWARE. I sure hope they are utilizing aiWARE and AION file types but who knows.
"Tens of thousands of customers have already selected Amazon Bedrock as the foundation for their generative AI strategy because it gives them access to the broadest selection of first- and third-party large language models (LLMs) and other foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies, including AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, Mistral AI, Stability AI, and Amazon, along with leading ease-of-use capabilities to quickly build and deploy generative AI applications."

Surprisingly RS dropped aiWARE.com and compared aiWARE to bedrock. Around the 16 min mark
Seems like Keithley has an actual background in computer science which will be a nice change. Agreed seems like he'll have more pull and hopefully not fall for the constant empty promises. Either way glad they could lore him on the board with all his connections.
Thoughts on Michael Keithley joining the board? Seems like he's on a ton of board positions already.
Ya agreed I mean I understand why details on DOD would be scarce. But to not be touting aiWARE at all to me is not a good sign. Also to with CS’s ouster aiWARE development/adoption couldn’t have been going to well. Still don’t think even next earnings call we get much info seems like gearing up for second half. The rebranding tho could be a coming out party.
Ya true I know they haven't really even been interested in pumping the stock. But it could be viewed as a selling point to have an in with the DOD. Time will tell I'm sure it's a long process to be able to make information public when it relates to the DOD. I know they mentioned last earnings call potential gov contracts. If so, would be massive seems like aiWARE is low in the stack and vital to AI models running efficiently.

$249M DoD BPA to accelerate
AI capabilities of Joint Artificial
Intelligence Center (JAIC)
I guess the question is did the CDAO continue the program? I feel like an update on the contract is warranted.
Interesting the document related to the DOD case study has copyright from 2022. But I don’t think it was ever available before

Is today the day we see something on Veritone Hire?
I'll I could find in terms of how their buisness is doing. Wonder how 2024 is looking.
"Increasing by an average of 20% each year, Hansei’s revenue cycle management services is on pace to help 24,582 patients receive access to treatment in 2023, servicing clients in 18 states throughout the US."
How do you know Benji Health runs on aiWARE?
