According to emails from Shawn Lewis and interviews with Cataldo, Ivestor used the company as his personal cookie jar. Lewis has said that Ivestor is largely responsible for the large short interest back in the fall. Also, that Cataldo was one of very few willing to jump into this ring of fire. I take that with a grain of salt. Regardless, this company has got to show some real revenues from the google relationship and varitalk, etc, REAL SOON. It has also been alluded to that Vonage will soon be using voii services for their system.
If you check the board at marketwatch, you will notice that a link to that news was reported yesterday. Post 1116 at 3:18 yesterday afternoon. The preliminary proxy is out today as well. Giving a lot of shares away. Must raise the outstanding limit to 400mil to "pay" everyone.
I hope the entrance to China, India, Indonesia is all good. No one has ever said what kind of revenue this google deal could or is generating. Especially on a per-call basis. I can only hope that it is truly significant and that cash flow gets positive in a hurry. They can't afford many more "payday" type bridge loans at 12% that turn into longer term notes at 18%. Also don't expect the Q4 numbers to be good at all. Cataldo stated in a radio interview recently that they were going to charge off everything they could in Q4, to have tax-loss carryovers for 2007, when they would be showing profits. We'll see...
This stock will continue to go nowhere but down, until the company reports some positive developments from the pilot programs from biocom and Premier bank. I've emailed the company several times requesting updates or some info, but have not received the first reply. I really like the technology, but the management must report something. Good luck to all holders here.
Click 2 Call is up and running. And on your pc right now! If you go to Google Maps, type in a search, for example, Pizza Miami, it will give you a list of pizza restaurants in the Miami area. Look for the green "phone" icon. Click there or on the call link and up pops a window that allows you to enter your phone number. Enter there and Google (Voip, Inc.) connects you to the business directly over your phone. No need for a microphone on your computer or to get offline while you wait on a call. It really is happening! This could be a huge day for voii.
Finally, some news........................

I am confident that under Robert's leadership sales will accelerate id-Confirm's growth and expand our position as the trusted leader in the prevention of identity theft and fraudulent activities," said David A. Grasch, id-Confirm's President and CEO.
Got to admit, that one was pretty good. I guess it's better to laugh at the whole situation than start picking out which knife I will use on my wrists.
Bloodhound, your point has been well made, over and over and over again. We get it that you don't like Cataldo. Yes, companies he's managed have had terrible stock price records. But let's try a new subject other than finding a new name-of-the-day for Cataldo, huh? How about commenting on the company's events, fundamentals or anything other than Cataldo. It's starting to get a little old.
Is there anybody talking about IDCO anywhere?
Yes, I think they did repay the notes. See posts by Wester at Mktwatch today. Also a press release today on the plans for major expansion over the next few quarters. Is the PR the work of Tony or of Shawn?
Thoughts on the 10K? I keep telling myself to remember that this company is very much in the development stage. Certainly the possibility exists for downturn, but it also exists for an explosion of sales for this little company. I don't see a lot of downside from where things are right now. Lots of UP!
So much for an updated website
I got this email back today from Juhl Communications re: the special shareholder's meeting....
Juhl Communications is no longer handling media relations for id-Confirm, so unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to be of much help to you. I’d suggest that you call and asked specifically for Tom Breen.

Thanks Stingray. Yes, lots has been said about the musical chairs at the CEO posisiton, but you're right, CFO has remained constant. Either he knows where the bodies are buried, or he does have a handle on the financial situation. Good observation. I'll continue to post here as long as the board stays operable. I've received no notices in my mailbox or anything from ihub to say that this place is going away. Keep up the dd and the chatter.
Any thoughts on the 8k filed today? They've released a notice of a P-Note signed on Sept 29, and it's due tomorrow???? Think they will be able to pay the note on time, or default in this one like so many others. Why just a 1 week note for 380k? Hardly worth the paperwork to write a note with interest for only a week. Only about $900 in interest for the week.
I didn't know we needed a moderator. Things are generally very civil here. Didn't ask the question to you directly. Posting it for anyone who wants to reply. If we need a moderator and no one wants to step up, then I guess we could close the board down and move somewhere else. There is a lot of good dd posted on the Marketwatch board. I found the messages posted in both places to be generally informative. I read and post in both places. Good night to you as well. Thoughts from others on the board?
Shareholders' meeting this Friday. Don't forget, volume will probably remain low until after the special shareholders' meeting this Friday in Colorado. They plan on increasing the allowable number of shares from 100mil to 200mil. Anybody going to attend? Any way to get transcripts or notes from the meeting?
I agree Pap. Problem with a company with only 3 full time employees and no major revenue stream to hire a big promotions company, is that news can be slow coming. Should be hearing news out of the Biocom testing shortly. I would also like to hear something of a preliminary report from Premier Bank testing. Once a contract is landed and announced, hang on!
8k and lawsuit settlements. Good news or bad? There have been several 9K reports issued in the past couple of weeks. Settlements to lawsuits by investors who were handling private placements of stock for the company. One for about $9mil and another this week for $900,000. In the settlement the investors released all or most of their monetary claims against the company in exchange for millions of shares of stock, which they can sell on the open market (with some limitations to prevent dumping and crashing the share price). Though we have seen the 30%+ reduction in share price as a possible result. What are some opinions?
You're not adding to my confidence level.
Who the h&ll buys $16 worth of stock. Noticed in the level 2 quotes that a couple of 200 share orders were filled at .08! Hardly worth spending the money, isn't it?
I also sent an email to the investors@idco.com box, but got an autoreturn message that it could not be delivered. On a better note, the messages that I sent to sales, tech support and the marketing firm have not been returned---not answered either. Keep in mind that this company only has 3 full time employees, so they could all very well be "in the field." Let's hope it's nothing more serious. Let us know if you hear back. I will as well. At least someone believes something in the company, as over 50k shares have traded hands w/out a major movement in price. That's good.
Need some PR about some revenues. Talk of Varitalk and others is good, but how much are they paying for the services?
Mrgecko, where did you get that post? It's exactly word for word the post as on Marketwatch. Are you one and same as that poster? The wording from the post leads me to believe that it's spin control from the inside. I'm an extremely disappointed shareholder at this point. These guys have materially misled common investors. I don't have enough invested to worry big time, so I'm going to ride out the wave. May end at 0, may get some bounce to get back to $.50 or even a buck. But this company has got loads of work to do in order to win back investor confidence. Bottom dwellers may smell a quick profit to be had on a bounce back into the mid 30's to 40's but lots of people hopped on board way above $1.
As for Cataldo's performance in turning companies around, previous posts about how those companies are doing in the long run speak for themselves. Just look up charts on his prior companies and see their latest numbers.
I'm not an expert by any means. By doubling the number of available shares, it would lend itsself to additional funding through private placements without risk of exceeding the limit of outstanding shares available to the company. Currently has 51 mil o/s. Unfortunately, all that would lead to dilution of shareholder equity. If the company is not getting revenue from Biocom or Premier Bank, then they need $$$. Private placement is a way to get that. Any other opinions?
A1, you have said before that you got into this stock in the .36 range. What is your plan now? Your most recent posts suggest that recent 8K filings and other news---not so good news--- is not unexpected or necessarily unwelcome by you. Did you miss the overall direction of the stock or are you hanging in, buying more here, or what?
What does anyone think of the 8K filings today? Be sure to read all 3.
Yes, a close up is good, but the volume is still weak. Need some news. Something to chew on.
Is this the quiet before the storm? Volume is weak. Most players waiting for the results of the 90 day trials and some news out of Premier Bank?
With low volume like this, it doesn't take much to move a stock one way or the other pretty quick. Unfortunately, it's going the WRONG way. You still in the buying mood A1?
Alot of those guys were "sold" by a financial advisor who claimed to have firsthand knowledge of this great new technology and the people running the company. Many of them bought in at $1.50 or higher. I got in at what I thought was a turning point at .68. So I'm ONLY down about 40% here, but many of the others on mktwatch board are down 60%-70% or more and the guy who advised to buy via his weekly radio show still promises the world. Even predicted for the stock to be near $1 by "end of summer." Guess what DA, Summer officially ends on Thursday, so this thing has a lot of work to do by then.
Sorry for the rant, but I try to get perspective from several different angles in order to make my decisions on buy/sell. I'm holding on here, cause I think voip in general is a great thing with only the sky as the limit. As for Voip, inc., they've got real work to do to show shareholders some revenues from what Shawn Lewis and his crew can invent.
This was an interesting article.

What are the opinions?
Low volume, but I'll take the bump up.
I did a little digging this morning and this does make at least 3 CEO's in the last 6 months. Gary post wrote a letter to investors on June 1, introducing himself as President and CEO and outlining the goals and objectives under his leadership. Well, he replaced someone, and now Post has stepped aside, though he will remain on the board. So, yes, at least 3 CEO's in 6 months. I didn't follow the stock much before June. I'm sure you could find that for yourself.
As I said in an earlier post, let's hope that this is a good move. The stock has progressed nicely since it's bottom in early August. New products are being showcased. The website at LabsOne is a novel idea, though there isn't much action in that forum. Maybe we are all looking for that bust-out day when the great Google finally shows the world what they can do with the click2call feature. Hopefully, it will come....and soon. Biggest thing is that the company needs to give investors a reason to BUY the stock. Show us the revenues from these cool new technologies. Thoughts?
Just reporting what I saw. I have not followed this stock for an entire year, but this poster at Marketwatch has. If the link doesn't work, go to the Marketwatch.com message board for voii. Posted by xrunncoach, post #511.

Saw on another board that this is the 4th ceo in 12 months?! Is that correct? What's going on with the management of this company? When are they going to announce that there are real clients who are willing to pay real money for the products. We have all been able to see the technology at work, but it's time to show us who's going to really use it and how voii is going to profit from its use somewhere.
Howard, I also got in around .085. Missed the double from the low of .03, but I still think this stock has minimum $1 plus potential, as soon as it starts getting some revenues. What I don't want to see is a huge private offering at $.05 or less, which would dilute our ownership. They do have some cash in the bank and can probably make it to mid winter before needing cash. Rest assured that they wouldn't get a big trial at the banks without first showing that the system DOES work. I like the technology and was just reviewing a fax from a credit agency today warning of ID theft and the need to secure your customer's info. I think this company has huge potential and will add more at .08, if it takes a dip. I would rather just see it climb from here, though. GLTA
The stocks of his previous ventures are not faring that well right now. BUT, hopefully he has some contacts in M&A that will drive some real interest to voii. A little new blood could help give some life. I anticipate a little retreat in the short term...nervousness, shakeup jitters, but expect a run into the 50's over the next week. JMO.
Papdooh,
You need to keep making posts like that. Seems to have awaken someone. up 1 point or 12%. Not bad. Let's keep those gains and build on them. No retreats! Volume is low though. So any trades can impact the price in a big way. Maybe folks are waiting to see the results of the trials from Isreal and from the banks before making a buying decision. Nothing else seems to have changed. GLTA
That was weird. at 3:50, a sale of 5900 shares at .45, then only 3 minutes later a couple of token orders of 500 goes all the way to .49?! What's up with that?
Interesting article. Most importantly to me is the question...... Is voii's technology at the root of all of this? Are there others in the market who can provide the framework that voii provides to these vendors? Shawn Lewis is a very forward thinking individual. His ideas are stretching the boundaries and blurring the lines of what we thought phones and internet could ever do. I look forward to this company doing very well. I plan on being in this one for the long run.
Bad thing about WSJ is that you have to subscribe and pay to get any articles w/in the last 7 days. Would like to see the artilcle if it's current and not the PR that came out last week from voii themselves.
Good thing about the stock is that it's inching up. If it only goes up .005 average per day, by mid-Oct we would clear .60. By end of Dec, that would be back near $1.00. Not too bad.
