warpo - FWIW...
You can read my sad story in a post just before this one.
I'm sorry I didn't buy more a few days ago but I really thought we'd be going back down without news. Now I think news is imminent and doubt we'll see the 0.20s again. If we do I'll be buying more. Otherwise I've decided to be satisfied with what I have.
Finding the right stock is one thing... finding it at the right time when you can buy at/near the lows is another. A lot of people bought much higher than where we are now. Like you I really lucked out on the timing.
I also have grandkids. You must invest as you think best of course but in my opinion this is still very early. Anything under $0.50 or even $1 is going to look pretty good in just a few short months if not weeks (or days???).
Good luck to you!
- Sinkman
Hey moondogaz - your posts got me thinking...
Numbers are strange things and if you'll indulge me a bit, let me tell you a story. (and hopefully others here will it enjoy as well)
Over 23 years ago now I bought into a stock that had an amazing run in January 2000 (before it was ultimately de-listed several years later). Ever hear of E.Digital? Earlier in the 1990's they had started out in the low pennies but began to get real traction in 1999. They had good FLASH memory operating system software which could be used in MP3 players just when those were becoming all the rage. By the time I was aware of the company in mid-1999, they were already over $2/share. But I managed to accumulate 20,000 shares mostly by using a lot of borrowed money... which was the beginning of a string of very bad decisions.
I first bought shares of MULN on 11/16/22. 23 years before, EDIG was at $2.40 and at that point my average cost/share was just over $2. Not in a single day, but in just a few weeks EDIG exploded to over $23 and closed at $22.75 on 01/24/2000. I had a 10x return in about 6 months time. I didn't sell any of it though because I 'believed' in the company and was greedy for more. Worst financial decision of my life. Did I still make money though? Nope. I watched it drop later in 2000 below my cost and then held it to the end continuing to believe/hope that it would turn around and that I would ultimately profit. 2nd worst financial decision of my life. Humbling lesson learned.
Point being is that MULN seems just like EDIG to me. Except that this is a much better positioned company with real assets and (soon) products. I've gotten a second chance to be invested early in a huge growth market and to make up for past losses. I'm all in MULN for under 0.30/share average. If it goes to $3, there's my 10x return right there and I'm confident that it will go much higher.
The fact that it's 2023, that the big EDIG run happened 23 years ago, and now you saying $23/share for MULN... is just... bizarre - but nicely so. I think history is about to repeat itself and this time I plan to make better decisions.
I hope MULN flys and everyone gets the opportunity to make a bunch of money. This could be the chance of a lifetime for many. It's good to be here.

It was looking like a trial with ATVI late this year or early next. Been here 5+ years and was certainly willing to wait a few more months. Was sitting on a decent profit and had sold a few shares recently just to diversify a bit but sure wasn't expecting the bad 101 decision.
It's always 'later' with litigation stocks and I've had enough. I can be patient while rulings take longer than they should but I can't take crushing decisions that undermine everything. Right or wrong doesn't matter. Screwed is screwed. I'm out. Good luck to those who think they can still manage a profit on this one. I'm just not up to it.
BTW, this feels exactly like VRNG... who got screwed at the CAFC, then the company had another decent shot against ZTE which they totally botched. What I have learned: First it gets bad, then it gets worse. Not staying for the worse this time around.
- Sinkman
I haven't been to this board in years but see a few familiar handles. DISCHINO died some years back... even before EDIG finally did if I remember correctly. Agoracom seems unrecognizable now.
I lost a lot on EDIG - too much to admit. But I finally moved on. I have a few long-term stocks that I'm still waiting on to make me rich. They're all long-shots but still very much in play. Much better than EDIG but that's easy. EDIG wasn't worth a crap after 2000 - hindsight being 20/20. Amazing how long I hung on.
Well, try to enjoy life everyone.

Agreed... MDGC is #1 on Alexander's list for Wednesday!

luckydd - Do you have a good twitter link?
Would like to see what you're seeing - Thanks!
Incredible price/volume action today... hope this is for real!!
- Sinkman
Thanks DDobserver!!
So I see no actual trial date... which I assume will be set later as they work through the process. Seems like we'd be looking at late summer/early fall perhaps but probably at least before year-end 2021.
All in all not terrible. As madprophet says - at least now we have some dates.
- Sinkman
Up 50% on 3/4 million shares today - that should get some attention on its own.
Regardless, Worlds is alive again. It'll still be months before we get back to court but at least we should see some progress this year... better than continuing to wait on the PTAB indefinitely.
Of note: PTAB decided in our favor without waiting for a final decision in the Arthrex case as some had speculated might have caused us further delay.
This was very welcome news. Love DataStream's two word post! I'm sure we'll learn more in the coming days. It's good to be here. Congrats everyone.
- Sinkman
I also think this may be a sign that they're getting ready to pursue other infringers sooner than latter... obviously after the CAFC decision, but it may not be much longer than that - especially if they decide to vacate.
- Sinkman
I like your strategy to buy either way.
I made a very small buy today just to even out my current holdings (round numbers and all that).
I plan to buy more up to .40/share if the price starts to take off
-or-
I will buy twice as much if the price dips to .20/share
But only after the CAFC decision.
- Sinkman
Just to be accurate...
You said: "We have 7 weeks till a court date,"
March 9th is 6 weeks from today.
Sorry to cheat you out of a week
Appreciate your contributions here. Carry on.
- Sinkman
Another long comes out from the woods...
Catching up with the board today and chiming in as another small holder of WDDD. I just bought another 20,000 this morning in my IRA account for a total of 200,000 shares now.
Appreciate all the folks here and glad to be along for the ride.
- Sinkman
Thanks for the info joey.
BTW, I hope you will soon reconsider posting on the other board. We're going to need your clarity and understanding especially as the CAFC appeals (Apple 3 and PTAB) progress this year.
- Sinkman
First post on this board...
I've invested in a number of patent plays previously (EDIG, VRNG, VHC plus others I'm even less proud of) and have yet to come out ahead on anything as yet - hoping that this one will be different. I have built a very modest (under 100K) position in WDDD starting in April 2016 and am averaged at 0.035/share. If this ever reaches $1/share, it would make a huge difference for me. I don't need millions to be happy.
I definitely appreciate the insight and DD shared on this board. Just thought I'd establish myself here before the fireworks begin so I can take part in the celebration later.
A great part about WDDD for me is the relative floor we seem to have around 0.025-0.03/share with help from MRMD. My history has always been that prices go down after I buy but not so much with this stock. Apparently I suck at investing but I'm definitely overdue for a win. Would love to win with WDDD and everyone else here.
- Sinkman
Should then a CAFC affirmation of the PTAB decision also serve to keep some other entity from filing another IPR in the meantime (just as VHC had to contend with multiple parties filing IPRs)?
Not heading straight back to the DC is disappointing, but better that Susman plays the long game I suppose. Hopefully the CAFC will at worst rubber stamp the PTAB ruling (just as they do most of the time).
- Sinkman
Maybe part of the deal with ZTE was to let VRNG save face.
Not that it's working...
From vrng24's blog:
"He also said it was possible to get a decision the following Monday (October 5th, 2015)"
That would of course be the first Monday in October.
If a decision were to come on that day, it would be pretty cool, no?
- Sinkman
Ya, but that was way back yesterday
Kevin Porter said today...
"RR is due any day, any hour".
I like THIS day and THIS hour!!
This news made my day (as I'm sure for many here).
- Sinkman
Hilarious!
After catching up on all the conversation today regarding 2big2fail thinking it could be a long time before the ruling...
I guess it's "snooze - you lose".
Congrads everyone!!

GRUB! - I claim post #75000 in the name of Sinkman!
Just happened to notice it was available and pounced.
It's my lucky day!
I would stick around to try and cheer some of you up but that would appear to be a lost cause... so carry on I guess.
I am looking forward, as well as using the past information in forecasting the future.
As am I... and if I were truly good at predicting the future, I wouldn't be here sharing opinions and looking for insight. I'd be out making real money.
If the future is so bright, why .19 per share? If the patent value is so clear, it should be higher than that.
Since when does the market correctly value any stock at all times? Assuming the patents do hold value, then that circumstance would not be presently understood by most people. Once it becomes more obvious to many people and accepted as fact (or as a likely fact), then the price should begin to reflect that.
Speaking of looking forward, do you remember the following (IHUB message 72256)? Honestly, I don't think you are in a position to be chiding others with respect to being forward looking. I'll save some bandwidth by not going into the specifics of this message:
I've posted for several years what I've believed or thought at the given time. I'm not sure what you would have a problem with in the referenced post other than I was wrong in regards to timing. Who hasn't been? Because I was wrong then, must I be wrong now? At this point, I only have to be right once (as to the company's ultimate success). My ‘chiding' was only due to what I interpreted as a somewhat rigid negative stance regarding the company's prospects - they've failed in the past, therefore they will continue to fail. I happen to think the future looks better than that... taking the past into account, yes, but also considering what's happening today.
But if you believe, as murryhill apparently does, that we're being lied to at every turn and that it's somehow all a big conspiracy, then that's fine too. For myself, they've already got my money - it can only get better from here.

GRUB - Full House
The proof is certainly in the pudding, but if there is no value in the patents, then why would DM make the effort?
e.Digital certainly has a history of disappointment (and if you prefer, mis-management), but perhaps you might consider what is going on today - and what it suggests toward the future... rather than judging everything according to how it appears in the rear-view mirror. Just a suggestion.
I happen to believe the patents have value - and that DM will effectively be able to monetize them at least to some degree. The digEcor lawsuit is far from over and any further delay helps the company more than it hurts them IMO. The outcome whatever it is will be inconsequential relative to IP efforts.
- Sinkman
GRUB!
Good Grub, it's been awhile.
- Sinkman
"Overall, e.Digital comes across as very nervous to me in these more recent filings and seems to want to stall rather than get this settled. All I see in the declarations are a lot of unsubstantiated claims and several red herrings."
On the contrary, what I see is that digEcor wanted to go to court. Now that they're there, they better just get used to how it's going to be in every respect. e.Digital may not have started this fight but it looks like they intend to finish it - whatever it takes. Don't like their tactics? Too bad. The court will ultimately decide... eventually. In the meantime, it appears that e.Digital will continue to conduct business as best they can under the circumstances.
"Considering the abuse I take on agoracom..."
Abuse? Really? Hmmm. Couldn't possibly be due (even in part?) to anything you've ever done or said?
"...I moved documents 93-96 regarding e.Digital's motion for a continuance to a private file on my iBox. SS can retrieve them at his own expense."
He'll be able to get whatever help he needs with the "expense". Feel free to take your ball and go home.

Such fuss over the legal rulings this week... seems to me that EDIG is well into the process of selling eVUs whether Digecor likes it or not - just as they will move forward whether we like it not.
No word yet on any future court dates, but I'd say that by the time EDIG is declared to have breached their contract with Digecor (should that be the court's final decision), they will have brought suit or perhaps even begun to settle with several other companies over patent infringements.
One can easily argue the potential merits or value of either enterprise or the company's ability to execute anything successfully, but I've never been more proud of them than I am right now... selling product, getting things in order with patents, fighting it out in court, securing new sources of capital, and basically doing whatever it takes to become successful while keeping their fool mouths shut to help prevent some jerk from trying to derail the entire effort.
Yeah, they're learnin' - and I'm lovin' where it's headin'
Direct from e.Digital:
"Reports of my death have been grossly exaggerated."
2006: The Year of EDIG
Actually I think it will be... one way or the other.
They've clearly placed all eggs into the eVU basket (right or wrong). They have a new president (for better or worse), and they have a new business plan (good or bad). One can easily argue past business and management failures - several of which I wouldn't entirely disagree with. But I don't believe they've given up (as I would have) just yet and I'm pleased enough with that for the time being.
I'll agree that the odds favor more of the same next year - with no real change in the company's behavior or business. But if there is to be some positive change, then certainly it will at least begin to be felt sometime in 2006. By the next SHM (July/August timeframe), I think we'll have a clear sense of whether they have accomplished a noteworthy turnaround or missed the mark yet again. Although in my opinion they don't deserve it, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt one last time. I do like what was communicated most recently and will be paying close attention to how (and whether) they follow through.
I suspect (expect?) that we'll get news sometime in January. A much more frequent and steady flow of information will be important if they are to achieve greater recognition and success.
- Sinkman
Because they are not subject to extra requirements of the SOx Act they are only required to comply with the basic minimum SEC reporting standards which are subject to interpretation, especially regarding the issuance of 8-Ks.
Whew. Thank goodness for that. We don't want any overly strict regs to get in our way.
I have spoken by telephone twice with people at the SEC - today and once a couple of years ago. Both times they were very happy to answer specific questions about the regs but can't discuss a specific company unless an investigation has been made public.
I'm sure they were thrilled to be talking to you.
The impression I have gotten both times is that investors in penny stocks are somewhat on their own. There are so many scams that they can't possibly investigate even a fraction.
Gee, no kidding.
Whereas there are analysts and institutional investors keeping an eye on big board stocks to hold them somewhat accountable for guidance and other public statements and punish them in the market when they fail, no one but the individual shareholders themselves are doing so for penny stocks. Therefore, even though there is a VERY high scam rate, it's harder for them to rise to the level that triggers an investigation.
Yeah, I can always count on the stock analysts to look out for me.
One thing that does help the SEC get involved is a shareholder lawsuit in which plaintiff's attorneys uncover malfeasance in the course of discovery. If such malfeasance appears to include substantial violations of SEC laws, then the SEC is more likely to get involved (a lot of their work is already done). The SEC can take it so far as to prosecute violators and win disgorgement of ill-gotten gains, fines and even jail time.
Wow, that sounds great! Prosecute those violators!
However, it is rare that it ever gets to this level with penny stocks, but it does happen (eg: the eConnect scam).
D'oh!
In the case of e.Digital, even though they have tried to be careful to try to cover themselves by extensive use of misleading creative language with forward-looking language (FLL) disclaimers, I believe that there have been several times when it can be factually proven that that they intentionally lied to shareholders in public statements that were not protected by FLL.
I'll bet those FLLs just did a dandy job of CTA.
Sadly, I think they will get away with all of their years of false and misleading statements because shareholders are not yet united in agreement as to what has happened in the past (false and misleading statements) and what should be done in the future. There has been insufficient shareholder pressure on the BOD for accountability and upholding their fiduciary duties.
That is sad. What does fiduciary mean again?
A lot of people still hold out hope that they will either be able to recover their losses and/or make great gains in the future if problems are swept under the rug. The followers of the shill-driven agoracom board have been the most resistant to looking at the facts and demanding accountability. This is no surprise since the shill guru's on that board have the opposite motive.
Woo Hoo! I like when problems are swept under the rug because then no one sees them.
IMO, the shareholders who have finally smelled the coffee need to band together and not allow themselves to continue to be steam-rollered with dilutive financing after dilutive financing supported by fluff PRs and message board shills.
After drinking so much Kool-Aid, I'm really not up for smelling coffee.
If they are never going to have a viable business, they should just admit it.
What, and spoil the surprise?
Finkelstein? Oh no, we're doomed (again).
Whoa There! My, but that's unexpectedly tasty grub!
- Sinkman
I wouldn't even attempt to dispute history...
...but getting all upset about it now seems a bit premature (and late). After all, we're already holding the bag. What else can happen besides the share price going to zero? Big deal.
Honestly, I can understand people's concerns. If we've learned anything, it's that glowing reports of new and exciting opportunities tend to dim sharply just before coming to fruition. Look at F10, and whatever happened with Fusion? Now we hear about RyanAir and it just seems like this company, us, and anyone associated with it can never catch a break (except for our financiers, of course).
But I happen to think that history is about to change. While everyone else is e-mailing RP and the board members or writing their congressman, or whatever it is they like to think will make a difference, I'm just watching and waiting like I've done for years - reasonably confident in the position that ultimately our number is going to hit. A lot of craps has been rolled over the years, but we've yet to seven-out.
Maybe I'll get nervous later, but not just yet.
- Sinkman
jtdiii - Your concerns are understandable...
...but allow me to restate that now is not quite the time to be overly worried - as I previously posted:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=5982065
If we aren't in the embedded system, then demanding (and getting) an answer to that now wouldn't make any difference anyway. We're used to waiting and we'll see what they have to say soon enough.
- Sinkman
It'll be timely enough. Wait for it. EOM.
It's not unusual at all for someone who talks as much as you do to be suspicious of those who would say very little; but you've reached an incorrect conclusion in this case. You'll just have to wait for the cards to be turned over like everyone else. In the meantime, you could impress many here by remaining quiet until it's been clearly and finally demonstrated which of us is correct regarding EDIG's involvement with the embedded IFE system.
- Sinkman
"Let's hope that we truly are in the embedded system along with the handheld."
There’s no good reason to believe we aren’t at this point (aside from general nervousness regarding EDIG’s ability or opportunity to perform – which is understandable). If it is not addressed at all in the ‘upcoming company communications’ expected this month, then it will be time for further inquiries.
- Sinkman
Just for the heck of it...
"Likewise, I believe their PR claiming to have "unveiled" working prototypes of an embedded digeplayer at WAEA is yet another false and misleading announcment that should immediately be clarified. Inflight Canada designed and built the prototypes and "unveiled" them in their booth. e.Digital has some explaining to do as to what their actual involvement was, if any, and why there was no mention of Inflight Canada in their PR."
What's Inflight Canada got to do with it? So EDIG didn't build the prototypes? Sheesh, that's something they're actually fairly good at - they've done it so much.
"Perhaps issues with the misleading nature of the PR is one of the reasons Putnam is not answering questions."
Or perhaps not. It didn't seem misleading to me. We're still in wait mode to see if anything comes of it.
"The company certainly set the expectation that it is fully involved with in the creation of an embedded system,"
They certainly did - here's the meat of the PR:
-----------------------
(SAN DIEGO, CA, September 27, 2004) – e.Digital Corporation (OTC: EDIG), a leading innovator of proprietary digital audio and video technology platforms, and APS, Inc., a leading innovator in in-flight entertainment systems, successfully unveiled working prototypes of an installed version of APS' digEplayer™ video-on-demand (VOD) system at last week's 25th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) in Seattle.
The new installed in-flight entertainment (IFE) system is expected to be the first independent VOD system, without any dependence on a central server. Content can be easily loaded to the system to hard drives with capacity for 60+ full-length feature films. The system is also expected to include television shows, music and video games.
"We are pleased to be working with APS on this installed MicroOS™-powered version of the digEplayer," remarked Atul Anandpura, e.Digital's president and chief executive officer. "Beyond it's many other advantages, this system alleviates logistics support and will be easy to service and maintain."
"For cost-conscious regional airlines looking for an embedded solution, we have the answer," said Bill Boyer, president of APS. "We received strong interest in this new installed system at the conference from several airlines looking for an alternative to the heavy, expensive systems currently on the market. We continue to experience growing acceptance of the portable digEplayer 5500, with Ryanair, KLM, AEROFLOT and other airlines coming aboard as our newest customers. By offering both a portable and installed version of the digEplayer, we are well-positioned to rapidly grow our IFE sales."
--------------------
"but their refusal to discuss it now seems to indicate the contrary is true."
Only in your world chicken little.

Impressive device...
http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_pmvp.html
It appears to be available now at several e-tail sites in the UK. This is clearly a branded version of the MobiNote DVX-POD 7010 as it shares the same specs and a very similar look.
http://reviews.designtechnica.com/firstlook52.html
Looks like you can get the MobiNote here for $599.99.
http://www.amatechnologies.com/index.php
This has been available for several weeks now. No announcements suggests to me that there's probably no e.Digital technology inside despite its advanced set of features and capabilities.
So even though this device is shipping in a number of forms today, e.Digital has something that's even better. They have opportunities with unannounced partners and the potential for increasing revenue from next-generation products that were recently unveiled in secret meetings.

Then it's over...
I doubt confirmation will come this week or even next in any form whatsoever. They've already set that expectation. Keep waiting.
