Damn Murph. That is a bit morbid.
For fun I searched on "Baden-Würrtemberg and Cytosorbents". According to a LinkedIn hit Cytosorbents has a Regional Sales Manager in this city. Time to get to work Thomas!
If recall correctly Dr. Chan mentioned that steroids have to potential to hurt the effectiveness of the CAR-T therapy. To bad they also gave this guy methylprednisolone.
He said he started to feel better 6 days after treatment so my guess is that this interview is well after when he was treated, whatever the treatment was.
LOL. Urban slang the younger crowd uses for wrecked.
As I predicted. Read that Brown university paper I posted a few times. Removing endotoxins is too little too late once the cytokine storm has started. Catch it before the storm and it might work, but that is a very small window.
It means that 20% of your investment in CTSO used to be marginable now none of it is. The change could trigger a margin call for some or an automatic sale of shares. I'm not sure if all brokerages handle margin the same. Years ago CTSO was at 50%. It tells us that ETrade doesn't trust the volatility of CTSO and they are afraid their customers could get nailed with a margin call. I'm sure it is just determined by some kind of computer algorithm though.
Just got an email notification from ETrade. The Margin Maint Req for CTSO was just changed to 100% from 80%.
ESPN reporter Edward Aschoff was diagnosed with pneumonia and HLH before he died.
"After many tests - bone marrow and lung biopsies - treatment was started for a presumed diagnosis of HLH," she tweeted. "Within 3 days of being moved into the ICU, he passed."
HLH, hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, is a rare disease that affects the immune system.
If only there was an effective treatment for HLH...

You just mist have missed it. I picked up on that aspect of the trial before they started recruitment.
It seems odd that they would push through this PR on their Facebook page.
Thanks. Mostly just a fever and headache. It should run its course in 5-6 weeks. I had never heard of it before yesterday either.
Coincidentally, this morning my son was just diagnosed with Fifth disease, also known as “slapped cheek” disease. Do you think we can pin that on him also?
Perhaps I missed it, but I don't think that the 3 new hires were mentioned in the call either. Perhaps it is as simple as the new hires and Mortensen leaving are Q4 events and not Q3 events.
Snagged a few thousand more shares during this predictable drop.
One of the reason God gave man opposable thumbs is for scenarios just like this.
Sorry, Controlled.
Randomized Contolled Trial.
I wouldn't call it inside info if it can easily be found on a government web site.

I am actually a Navy brat. Born in Hawaii Tripler army hospital where mom was also a nurse. Dad was a submariner.
My father in law passed yesteday morning. Small world moment. Pearsby, I knew he was a volunteer usher at a theater. I did not realize it was the Coral Springs Playhouse. Perhaps you guys have actually crossed paths?
Go paperless. It makes it easier. LOL.
I am sad to say my own father in law is suffering from septic shock and heading to hospice this afternoon. Cytosorb would have been nice to have as a treatment option but he is suffering from a number of ailments so even reversing the shock probably would not help. He has chosen to stop fighting.
I would not give this in-vitro(lab\test tube) study more credibility than the many human studies that show acceptable Albumin removal levels of < 5% to < 10%. There is a reason studies progress from lab-> animal -> humans.
Also, while the author cites a few studies that were essentially equivalent to safety studies because the immune response was not even strong enough to warrant the use of Cytosorb they also failed to mention the REMOVE Endocarditis study that is over 90% enrolled.
They are on their way Pearsby.
Probably just the Russell Index rebalancing today.
Are you questioning my user name? If so, I used to have an orange cat named Scotch. He happened to be sitting on my desk when I created my account many years ago.
For real? This is another robot/algorithm developed article based 100% on publicly available financial metrics on the internet.
Same old Paul...
Another cancer therapy running into cytokine release issues like CAR-T

He did specifically used the terms "take back" and "switch territories" when referring to Fresenius and changing their EU to Ex-EU sales territories.
I think there was some better color on the nature of Fresenius taking over larger non-EU countries in exchange for CTSO taking back some EU countries and the fact that existing inventory is stuck and must be sold in the EU countries where they were originally shipped.
Paul Lipkin from Coral Springs?
In a lot of countries bribes are SOP. Legal or not they are a reality of how business is done in many countries.
CRMD not CMD. It was mentioned on this board just after its phase 3 trial was halted during interim review because the results were so good. I think it was trading just under 0.50 at that time. I got in at 0.17 and 0.35. It made it to about $2.4. It has been floating on the 1.7 range and just went through a 5:1 reverse split. FDA guidance on NDA submission route should be out soon. It has been a roller coaster since the reverse split. Could be a good swing trade or long term hold. I cashed out 2/3 of my position back in the run over $2 and plan to hold the rest long term. If the shorties push it down enough I may also pick up same trading shares.
Newly appointed FDA Director has a history with CAR T-Cell therapy.
CRS in 96% of cases? If only there was a safe, effect treatment for CRS... What am I missing here? Why are these CAR-T big pharmas not chasing after CTSO. A few thousand $ could salvage potential failures of the nearly half a million dollar treatment.
3 years
No doubt that the rate of progress is frustrating. When I received notification on my phone of the CE Mark being granted I was walking down the St. Petersburg Pier pushing my then toddler son in a stroller. He is in the 4th grade now and has a 6 year old brother. LOL.
