Still here since May 2020. Got in for 5-7year long investment. Imo still on schedule for a good return in that time.
This week was huge for the whole Psychedelic sector and I dont mean just the big green day all around. All 3 major players are making significant progress with there trials and all have enough cash on hand to go the distance to major catalysts. Even our competitors Phase 2b trial results that were released in the new England Journal of medicine was a big step for this new new industry, although they still have some issues. Imo we are still on track for the 5-7yr payoff I was hoping for when I invested in 2020. Good luck and stay the course.
Good article. When I saw the latest Lucy data it was a 12 hour session with therapist in a clinical setting 4 times a year. It will have to be an expensive treatment to make it profitable. Glad were talking about payers not to mention IP and patent issues. Someone is going to put a new drug on the market to challenge ssri's. Just a matter of time.
Thank you
Any opinions on why institutional investors dropped from 12.9% too 5.8% pretty much overnight?
This is a very good, unbiased analysis of the question regarding whether any of the 3 major players will have enough cash to make it to the Holy Grail of FDA approval for a new drug in the multi billion mental health pharmaceutical market.
I'm on the waiting list for the AADAPT survey. God knows I qualify along with most of the planet with this neverending covid nightmare. Let's blow up this app! Wouldnt it be something to see a press release stating "MindMed anxiety reasearch app receives 1 million responses" one week before project Lucy early results are shared with the world.:)
Hmmm...maybe their saying "buy MindMed".:)
Couldn't agree more!
This is a scam to end all scams! I closed my position last year. I have been hit with 2 re-orginization fees for this fictional beta energy corp totaling $80 in my Ameritrade account. I would beat the crap out of this guy in a heart beat!
Alls I know is that I've tried to put it out of my mind. I do check the hub occasionally out of morbid curiosity.:)
Agreed. There couldnt be a more crucial time to have a strong and competent CF0. Interesting that the announcement came out the day before the year end financials are released. It's all about the"cash burn" and cash on hand at this point. We are entering the next chapter of the "shroom boom". Small startups are starting to run out of cash to move forward. The field will narrow. All good. imho opinion, we picked one of the contenders!:)
I didnt invest but found this interesting. I think this will happen again with the less well financed start ups. Not the end of the world but might be a sign to go with the heavy hitters in the space.
Right to the moon Lucy!
How bout that NASDQ today. Volitle would be an understatement this week. Very happy with the Mindmed close today. Hoping we are past the sub zero discussions. The bottom resistance has been tested more than once recently. Added again this morning.
Looks like the new FDA Chief is responding to concerns with his views allready! Good news hopefully.
Hmm...good example of the mental health crisis in the country with this bird.:)
Agreed. I tend to pay a little more attention when John Hopkins is publishing about the results of psychedelic treatments for depressive disorders. Huge exposure for the whole industry. I'm starting to look a little closer at sources now with big pharma starting to get worried about an epic industry disruption on the horizon. A little skeptical about our new FDA chief with his big pharma ties and not tough on opioid crises leanings. Imo when the big boys start moving too phase 3 trials, they will make the transition from "if you cant beat them...buy them! For billions with a B.
Trust me, I'm very happy with the steady gains but why has the shares sold short gone up to 6.16%?I thought we were under 5% for good.Do these people ever give up and move on to the next start up to manipulate? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Seems like Project Lucy could be a good candidate for BTD if they can prove efficacy in 2b and make it to phase 3.
Ok then. Right to the moon Alice!
I certainly hope not. I have allways been concerned with the amount of outstanding shares but I honestly don't understand enough about it as to how it will play out. I'd welcome any opinions as to if this company can go go the distance with this many outstanding shares. My layman's view is that a split would take away my dream of a lottery payoff with all my shares by taking a long shot. It seems like skirting with the $1 pps is not helping the cause. Would still be very happy to see the stock being allowed to grow on it's on progress.
It's a start. God knows I welcome the news!
I will be the first to admit when someone who's opinions I don't agree with makes a valid point. Constant day trading has been detrimental to this companys growth, even without revenue. I understand profit taking now. I took my "long holding" in Mindmed much to literally when I was new to the game. Bought at 0.35 and didnt take ridiculous profits @$5 to re-invest at dip. Live and learn. I did buy Moderna and Co-diagnostics in early 20 on a tip fom my science teacher sister and sold for life changing profits. For me anyway. From the start I just looked at Mindmed as a retirement stock. I still do. I would be very happy with modest gains relative to clinical trial results. Enough with the day trading allready.
Thank you Jack. Someone who gets it and admits it is refreshing.:)
It looks like around 3.25 mil cash available with a 13.5 million market cap.If they can reach and maintain a 15 mil market cap again they will be positioned to apply for NYSE listing. Rumor has it that this will happen this year. Also the low cash on hand is not a reason for alarm. The company has stated that their strategy is to monetize before going deep into expensive phase 3 trials thru sale or merger. This is unique in comparison to my other psych holdings which I've been in since 2020 and still probably 5 years away from reaching fda approval on a promising drug for the big payoff. There low outstanding shares are also encouraging for a good return on investment. Bottom line imo is that for the price it would be tough to lose investment on medium term holding. Pharmaceutical/biomed companies like this are much more likely to be bought or merge as opposed to going out of business. I'm in big for 1-2 years. It will be interesting.
So your saying theres still hope.:)
Good luck with that. Your gonna need it!:)
Unfortunately the reality is if this company cant do something with this historic clean energy infrastructure bill passing...its probably not going to happen. Still holding though. Not much choice.
I think its 1-800-doueche bag.:)
Its aliiive!
