Long, absolutely gone silent on my end if you catch my drift. Not a peep....
Waiting patiently for updates/news from Mr. Big Chief....
Hey, look at the bright side on a day like today. When SLS loses 18% like RIMM or APPL, we lose fractions of pennies while those share holders get creamed! Maybe SLS is on the right track with high margin low volume sales to commercial vendors vs. trying to compete in a low margin, high overhead, high cost world of the high tech companies. Its a blessing the Best Buy and Walmart deals failed when they did. Think where we would be if there had been initial success followed by the downturn. The Ozark warehouse would have been filled to the ceiling with unsaleable home theater systems and headphones with no hope of getting additional financing in today's credit markets, IMHO.
That's okay, it will give those that missed it the first time to load up. I certainly will.
Wonder why? Profit taking? Obviously, since there is no news good or bad, it can't be that.
Anyone catching all the chatter over on Yahoo? Chatter, pps rise, okay volume. Things are getting interesting again! All we need now is a dose of Wize's BS and all will be right with the world.
Keep those Big Chief tablets handy....
Continuing to rise. I'm tellin ya, we are just getting started. Back up the truck while you can. Good grief, I sound like Wize. Sorry Cubfan.
What's interesting is the recent pop in pps and then an article bringing the company back into the public's mind. I cant help but laugh. The Big Chief comment is either going to be his vindication or his epiteth
I dont know about you all but I thought the article in the Springfield Business Journal was okay.
I got some around .018 but not as much as I should. I think we are at the beginning of a nice run here. If it backtracks to .03-.05, I will pick up some more. Anything below .10 will still be a bargain pending a formal announcement of some kind of news. Somebody knows something though as there is no reason for this much activity and holding its price. Day traders would have dumped it after a .05 run in that short a time. Any news and I think we run to .25 pretty quick. Long, did you get any more or did you bail out???! In dreamland, we go over a dollar when JG announces the C's are taken out, they have obtained new financing and are turning a profit-:)
Even if it turns out to be a pump and dump, it sure was nice to see some life in the stock. Reminds me of the heady days when it traded at .09-:)
Stock moving up on decent volume!
"What I can say is that if and when when SLS is able to again report what
we have been doing for the past year and a half most of the creators of
the mystery novel will probably choke on their Big Chief notepads."
John is showing his age a bit. Kids who went to elementary school in the 60's-70's were required to get "Big Chief" notepads or tablets as part of our school supplies. It was very wide lined paper bound at the top (had a big indian chief on the front) for those learning to write the alphabet and so teachers did not have to squint to see what the kid was writing. Pescadaro/Arch and siezed upon it as a vehicle to rip on John. John used it probably to rip the guys ripping him by calling them elementary students, so I am guessing. That said, they probably will choke on their Big Chief pads if John is able to deliver the goods like he seems to be alluding to.
Last note; I may sound like Wize from time to time but Sir, I am no Wize! Trust me.
I intend to soon when I have some capital freed up. It's obviously a steal at this level but I guess its a risk as well. Hopefully, some information will be available soon.
From what I hear, things are on track but like anything else in this economic enviornment, there have been delays, but trust me, the worm has turned for the better. My prediction is still on but may be pushed back a few more months. Patience will be rewarded (no I am not blowing smoke like Wize). Good stuff is afoot in Ozark.
Nice try. I called the 866 number on the form. SLS is not even incorporated in Missouri. This is for a piddly ass franchise fee of about $60 or so because the operate in Missouri. Once the fee is paid, they are re-instated for business in Missouri. They can continue as usual outside the area.
Somebody loaded up today!
Maybe he is-:)
I resemble that remark. Unlike the Tard, I am an honest person.
I predict a significant move in the next 60-90 days. Can't tell ya so don't ask.....
Well, here we are nearing the end of the 1st quarter and...nuthin. Anyone heard anything??
Nothing specific. I am speculating based on the fact he took the time to respond to those e-mails in the fashion he did. A CEO of a company in trouble that did not see light at the end of the tunnel would not put forth the effort to write such a detailed responses. He also mentioned (albeit in a back handed way) that the company was doing very well which would lead me to believe that something was a stir in Ozark. Sounds to me like a guy who is chomping at the bit to prove his critics wrong and what better way to do that than to roll out some financing and good news regarding earnings and such. Then again, I could be way wrong.
I don't see where the stock is toasted. He admits to going about it wrong. He back handedly said that we would be shocked with how good they are doing if he could tell us. The church I go to is upgrading their stage and sound equipment and has been in contact with SLS. Our sound guy says they have been great to work with, very professional and do what they do well. I suspect costs will determine who the church goes with BUT I doubt a nearly bankrupt company would put forth much effort to bid for a job like that.
Here is another...
His response to a follow-up saying by the sounds of his first email it didn't sound like they would report any time soon:
"Sorry but I don't have an answer for that question.
In the event that we arrange financing that is favorable and includes
the additional capital to catch up on all of our filings then we would
be reporting as we did in the past. There are some things available
through the Pick Sheets that we are investigating that could allow us
the ability to shed some light on what's been going on."
Best,
JG

Gang, here is a post from Yahoo written by JG in response to something Arch wrote. I happen to think they are a lot closer to the financing he discusses than he could probably admit to on an e-mail. For what it's worth...
Try Asking Next Time 21-Feb-08 10:06 am I simply emailed your novel to JG and he responded with his own rambling novel. You 2 are peas in a pod. This post was his answer to your post. My next post is an answer to a follow-up
"It's just too bad that SLS was not able to continue what we started with
regards to the push into the Consumer Electronics marketplace due to the
shortage of funds necessary to fully address that market and that our
ability to continue what we started was limited by our inability to
continue to fund that venture. This is what all of the real analyst
looked at back in 2006 and it's my opinion this is what caused some of
the landslide.
Had SLS been able to fund the additional $15 to $20Mill that we had
deemed necessary to address the Consumer Electronics marketplace that
venture should have been a very big success and there wouldn't be people
dreaming up the ridiculous assumptions that they post on the boards.
I will say that from what I know there has never been any market selling
from any of the original or current management/insiders or Board
members. Personally and as can be found by any interested party I've
never listed one share of SLS stock for market sales and the majority of
the reduction in my holdings came from gifting or selling shares at cost
to many of the consultants to compensate them for their working with
SLS. As far as the Partying goes, the expenses necessary to utilize the
Brand exposure and brand building associated with the Consumer
marketplace are usually very high however if the process is successful
then the results follow, (take the associations with Michael and Tiger
to Nike)! I'm sure Nike spent hundreds of millions with those two!!!
Also, the events associated with working with our endorsement and
marketing partners were far from party's and usually they were 20 hour
days of continuously explaining our story to them while trying to
accommodate their every request!!!
What I can say is that if and when when SLS is able to again report what
we have been doing for the past year and a half most of the creators of
the mystery novel will probably choke on their Big Chief notepads.
The current management and team at SLS are doing what we do best and
that is to continue to produce the highest quality audio products
available on the market today while at the same time deal with all the
negative accusations and rumors that seem to always be thrown our way.
Believe me it would be a lot easier to sell more products and continue
to climb the ladder to success if all the uneducated naysayer's weren't
out there creating this negative myth and throwing daggers every chance
they get. It seems that they could put some of their creative writing
time to good use and relay the accolades and positive comments about our
technology and products that come from the highest level of Audio
professionals around the world. This might help our efforts here in
keeping the ship afloat as we work our way to success. I would think
that some positive feedback being written about SLS wouldn't hurt the
potential for them to one day see some increased value in their SLS
holdings!!
SLS' technology and products are what founded and drive our company and
these are the things that bring us to work every day and a lot of
nights. And, with the 110% dedication of all of us here we are
determined to continue to deliver to best possible and highest quality
solutions to age old problems of the delivery of sound.
Now I will get down off my soap box and get back to taking care of
business."

There has to be a reason. The commission is more than the trade!
I think we are all waiting for the news we all know is coming. It would be naive to assume that no one here has any information.
I would really, really like to hear some details regarding what you discussed with them. Please dont float those teasers out there and not expect a bite.
I am not Larry (but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once-:)). I never posted on Yahoo but I did read it regularly. I did like Larry's analysis of SLS though.
All we need now is Larry_Livingston, Investretard(Arch's name for wize) for the old bantor to really heat up. Sleeze should come over here instead of hiding on Raging Bull unless Sleeze is in disguise over here as well.
Well I'll be. This is kinda like the end of a Scooby Doo episode! I miss the bantor of that Yahoo board. Now, for what its worth; I predict a turnaround in the company and the stock and I further predict the share price to go to at least .50 by the end of the year. Feel free to abuse me, take shots or accuse me of being an insider. GOOD things are a foot and I am not concerned about what Sleeze or any other basher have to say. If I am right Arch, you could indeed make a killing on the upstroke and have hit this both ways.
Wow, that's awesome. Guess that answers my question about the state of the industry. Thanks for the update. Good luck!

Hey how was the trade show? Did you see JG? Is the mood in the industry somber or is there still some upbeatness. I believe it will be stocks like this that attract investors if the NYSE and NASDAQ continue to get crushed. Once the news breaks, assuming its good, we could see a pretty quick move to .10 to .20.
Good call. They are indeed at NAMM this weekend. Maybe JG can solicit some investors to buy out the C's....
Hey, we are up 2.5 cents since the tax selling. Somebody must know something.....
98,
SLS Loudspeakers is at NAMM. Booth 5222 Hall B. That is a good thing!!
Okay, so maybe thats not a bad thing. Keith, if you are out there maybe you can answer a question for me. It appears either by mistake or by design, SLS has positioned is primary focus on the professional market. With a recession looming, the consumer market may suffer as we move forward. Keith, with you being active in the professional market, is your area insulated from a recession or will that market continue to prosper? If so, it would appear SLS will still do good with that piece being their primary business. If that is the case, not relying on the consumer market might be a godsend. Thoughts??
Okay. My apologies to Wize. Nice to see you back Gold. What's your take on where we are headed?
Does that also mean that no one is now willing to sell at these levels so the bid will have to go up???
