The role
This position is responsible for delivering on Epiphany Café’s strategic business franchise and value proposition through high level account management and operational excellence of existing franchisees, new business development of sales from actively identifying and securing new partnerships/customer opportunities nationwide. Must passionately represent the Epiphany Café brand and be able to ethically coach prospects through the discovery process, financing resolution and market development.
Main Duties include:
Plans and directs the operational activities of franchise organisation by identifying and mapping business strengths and franchise needs.
Managing and retaining relationships with existing franchisees
Managing and retaining relationships with existing and future suppliers, lessors and industry partners
Standardisation of franchise operations in consultation with other café managers, franchisees and licensees
Development and execution of Epiphany franchise and license business plan
Developing growth strategies by following industry trends locally and internationally
Organises and controls sales activities by setting product mix, geographical sales areas and customer service standards
Directs merchandising methods and distribution policy by coordinating the work of salespersons or organising agents and distributors
Controls sales methods and arrangements by setting prices and credit arrangements
Monitors franchise customer service, invoicing, payments and administration costs
Monitors and reports on franchisees’ successes and areas needing improvements to formulate changes.
Monitoring and management of franchise and license performance
Directs the development of initiatives such as new products, new marketing techniques, new advertising campaigns, incentive bonus schemes and the dropping of unprofitable products
Conducting regular site visits to company franchises to evaluate data on consumer suggestions and preferences.
Researching franchise business opportunities and viable income streams
Manage the implementation of the company’s business processes by directing coordinators on marketing strategies and operations to meet market objectives, generate consumer knowledge and support the hallmark of goods and services efficiently.
Advising and updating of the company’s components such as promotions, pricing, distribution
Management and coordination of new product launch plans and initiatives
Managing the negotiation for new lease arrangement of the franchise group
Development, management, and execution of franchise improvement projects
Management of franchise and license recruitment process of the company
Franchise and license process and standards documentation
Management of the overall franchise and license operations
Eligibility to live and work in New Zealand
Suitable candidates must be
Knowledgeable on the Basic Principles of Project Management
Having a Business Operations experience
Able to understand different personalities as working with several nationalities
Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PP)
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Business Management or Marketing
More than 5 years franchise management experience
Experience in opening multiple businesses
Experience in managing a franchise business or similar
