i hear u, it was disconcerting at first, was afraid no one would accept the transfer. I had orginally posted here to ask others how they transferred and found these issues started with the move to otc. either way, fidelity has worked for me.
i too continue to accumulate. these low prices are a blessing while we wait for confirmation.
noice. glad it worked on your end, maybe you got the 'right guy' that day ha.
so far, no issues transferring with fidelity. plus, with what TD did to anyone that donated to the truckers in Canada several months back, i'd rather stay away from TD anyway.
as cb521 said, Fidelity works. i transfer usually every few months, but recently decided to stop buying through ast and contributing to the dilution. TD first told me over the phone that they would transfer znog, then i set up an account and they denied the transfer.
if i remember correctly, and this was about 2 years ago, after the denial, they told me that if i had a certain HIGHER number of shares/$ value, they would transfer. i want to say in was at or near 6 figure value minimum.
true, much different drilling going on. 8 wells still seems like a lot, but if you have 8 drills, right.
"On the success of this economic oil find, Dönmez said more drilling is planned in eight wells to bring the total number to 10 by the end of the year."
8 "new" wells in one year?? i assume, zion having only one rig and no 'drilling infrastructure' in Israel, the best zion could do is 1-2 a year? what do we know on how quickly more wells can be drilled here?
nice work
yea, just seeing that from their site. looks like i found my coin site. thanks for the info
JRyan,
beautiful coin, didn't know that was out there.. where did u pick yours up?
thanks for the clarity.
appreciate the depth of info! thx
right, that seems to be a workable answer, as it would take a powerful individual/entity to play outside the SEC.
any possibliity that Zion O&G is buying? would they be required to disclose or would this show up in the financials they just released?
225 mil shares is A LOT for an outsider, and getting very close to 50% ownership.
MJ01 stung, no way around it, but we wait. hopeful and curious
well said.
i hear u freedom, i do, but anyone that's here because of DD and company evaluations please raise your hand. (crickets?). there's literally nothing to research haha 20, 30, 40 years of a company with NO product, NO income, and NO profit. if anyone has some fundamentals telling them to be here, check your search engine for autocorrect cause this is only one of 2 things: faith play or day traders paradise. im here because of HIM, u know?
agreed!
spec - the new members recent experience is quite telling to me, as im sure to many others.
"This is the big one. If an individual, they would have had to file a 13g, If a company or fund, they would have had to file. However, I know it was mentioned that a 'foreign' source might not have to divulge their ownership. I can 100% guarantee Zion Oil will not say who it is either."
this is what i was wondering, who could it be then, as aren't all parties/individuals required to file with the SEC? but maybe a foreign source doesn't? foreign person/business or govt source not required? interesting
Thanks. I do recall a couple of those and thanks for clarifying a few more!
ah yes. thanks
hey JRyan,
can you reference KyOil post on the whale?
Always trying to follow the helpful posts here but dont remember that one.
Thanks
thats very interesting
thanks for the clarity on my previous question
''at least they're consistent'' haha true.
for this question, let's assume they hit a very large reservoir of commercial oil on MJ02. if so, i assume they would drill many more wells into that same reservoir, correct? So, my question is, would Zion need to file for a 'new exploration license" for each new well into the same reservoir, or would that be some other named license/permit? Or, with the current license set to expire in August, they would need an extension to drill further wells into the same reservior?
DSPP monthly buys usually hit around the 25th, right? Seems odd that this month the price is continuing steadily down, where month after month before, we get a small spike just ahead of that monthly dspp buy, then a drop a day or 2 afterward.
Can anyone speculate on how znog can have such high volume and the price continue downward? i cant imagine the longs are selling off, especially in the range of 3-5 million shares a day for about 5 weeks now, and just ahead of final announcements on oil or no.
So, just for this hypothetical question, what could be the reason for: slow decline; with very high volume; assuming longs are holding/accumulating; and the Zion can't pump that many shares into the market per day?
Who's selling such volume? and who's buying?
Thanks
this sounds promising, as to the use of completion liners and what that recommendation COULD indicate...
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/The-Complete-Guide-To-Oil-Gas-Well-Completions.html
"What is Well Completion?
Well completion is the term used to describe the assembly and installation of a downhole pipe and related equipment so that oil and gas can be efficiently and safely extracted from a well. Well completions refer to everything that takes place in and around an crude oil or gas well between the end of the drilling process and the moment when a well is put into production."
"What is the Purpose of Well Completions?
After drilling an oil or gas well, the company evaluates the presence of hydrocarbons in place. If it determines that commercially viable volumes of oil and/or gas can be extracted cost-efficiently, it moves to prepare the well for the start of production."
"Liner completions
A liner is a type of casing in which the top is suspended from the inside and does not go all the way to the surface. That liner is hung from a liner hanger. Because the liner does not extend to the surface, it allows for more flexibility in the completion design of the upper wellbore by increasing, for example, the diameter if the characteristics of the fluids and flow rates call for larger diameters at the upper end of the wellbore. The design of many conventional wells includes a production liner set across the reservoir zone."
are they bringing in a 'production liner' or just a testing tool? do we know the difference in production liner and others?
liner completions impact flow rates, indicating there is flow? Understood, there was flow on MJ01 as well, just not enough. However, they didn't bring in liners there either.
is this indicating that by bringing in liners they believe it's commercially viable, and are preparing for production?
am i reading to far into it or does the news update seem to be telling us more without telling us more?
Thanks
Thanks KyOil.
"Generally there are three phases in bringing a well online:
1. Drill, then if shows and logging look good go to step 2
2. Test with additional logs, flow and pressure; attempt to size the reservoir, and if that looks good go to step 3
3. Complete the well for production." - KyOil
Do we know which phase MJ01 made it through before non commercial? Did they perform phase 2, flow and pressure testing or stop at phase 1?
Thanks
whats the new update indicate? specialized completion liners, etc. thx
wonder how this plays in...
https://www.jpost.com/business-and-innovation/energy/environmental-protection-ministry-to-block-eightfold-increase-in-oil-through-red-sea-689175
.... won't block, but MAY restrict
https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/.premium-israel-tells-court-it-won-t-revoke-uae-oil-pipeline-deal-but-might-set-restrictions-1.10473958
then, with war and rumors of, jumping off currently around Israel, Iran... Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, etc etc... pure speculation, but what if Iran blocks the Iranian (aka Persian) Gulf and you have Israel then sitting on a new-found oil reserve, with a port and pipeline... how 'convenient'
more conclusions to the hook in the jaw can be drawn there, if so inclined.
also interesting, Israel's Eilat port and Jordans Aqaba port are literally beside each other
''The number of oil tankers in the Gulf of Eilat is expected to increase to dozens every year, from fewer than 10 a year today. ...The company also says the number of tankers in Eilat will remain much lower than in Jordan’s Aqaba, across the Gulf of Eilat, which handles about 200 a year.''

one issue i see as potentially preventing the share price from rocketing once news comes out is the ability for anyone to buy at the days average through the dspp. im sure many would be unaware, but the big players will certainly know and stay away from the open market, instead buy dspp at the days avg i.e. pps is $1, closes at $11 in one day. near close, with the pps around $11, one would realize they could get free money through dspp, with the days avg of $6, instead of buying near $11. seems like this would be a huge anchor on the pps.
so, my question is to everyone, do we know if Zion and AST have the ability/authority to stop/pause the dspp, but still allow the many AST only investors to buy through their AST account? basically, turning the AST into their broker instead of trust.
The company funded the $ millions required for the oil exploration operations directly from the market via the DSPP, rather than accumulating debt.
exactly. zero income for Zion, other than DSPP. giving ownership over to 'capital investors' or a master in 'debt', completely defeats the spirit of this company and those here in faith, which i believe is the only reason for it's current and future existence... and success!! let's go!
amen. haha
and here's hopin' it does fall, as some of us are accumulating like mad. does .50 pps, $1 pps, really do anything for anyone, with respect to the potential price when production estimates are released? (rhetorical, for those here that often focus on the current pps, in a 20 yr old company with no product or profit) just makes our cost per share much worse, at least for those still investing. what does one really expect without hard confirmation. here's to .01 pps, and a million shares, on a fire sale!!!
furthermore, dpss allows the company to continue moving forward debt free (correct? zion doesnt operate via debt, please let me know if im mistaken). amazing, in my opinion. i choose not to worry much about 'dilution' due to dpss, as i'd much rather a debt free, 'master' less zion oil & gas, as well as know that my investment helps fund both 'Zions'. keeping it in house and through faith, seems best. calling for outside investment, thus, substantial ownership staking, for some reason is reminding me of 1 Samuel.
Father bless all
hey mj. i'll get the wifey to look that up and see what we can do. thx
mj, couldnt send pm. guess we'll see how this week goes
i did yesterday. it went through as usual for me, email confirmation within seconds of 'submit'. check your ast account?
hey mj. i cant pm here, though seems like i read recently that we can pm between 4-5 after closing? forgive me if you are aware, but if u have an electronic document (pdf, .doc, etc.), you can highlight and copy/paste without hebrew letters on your board (give it try on google translate by typing a few words in english, then copy/paste the hebrew and reverse translate from heb to eng). otherwise, we can try to remember to pm after 4pm monday and see how it works. im curious too about that letter. thx
hi. u could copy/paste the letter in hebrew to google translate, or one of many other websites? very easy fix. or share here and we can do so? thx
man, wish I had that same transfer approval team the day I tried!
