Up to 12.10 in pre-market (from 11.40) after news release from Chinese govt. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/post_reply.asp?message_id=39559212
With today's PR regarding opening offices in NYC and SF, I doubt you'll see $10 again.
He who hesitates is lost.
Is there anyone even checking this site anymore? Virtually no posts while the stock has skyrocketed. Lots of idiots typing on Yahoo just to read their own words.
Does anyone have a theory as to why we've been tanking the last few days?
Barclays inititated coverage of YGE with an overweight recommendation, resulting in an early spike in today's trading.
It seems they started covering the industry just now with different ratings on other companies.
I can only assume Barclays is anticipating a favorable earnings report tomorrow morning.

Up 10% so far today, but I don't see any news
It took nearly 12 years, but I have finally liquidated the last of what was once a substantial position in COR.
I was here to beat Alzheimers, but that battle was lost long ago. Here thru Raging Bull and Yahoo. I've lost faith that Cortex will ever find a niche.
Overall I made a profit, but nothing like I'd dreamed.
Alternative energy is the only game I'll be playing in the near future. Best of luck to all still holding on.
Chet
The PPS is only eighty pennies.
I don't think we should be gloating just yet.
Up 40% in 15 minutes
Hopefully long term holders will refrain from selling now.
The timing couldn't be better.
Investors have more in cash today than any time in years and they are looking for places to put their money today.
If hundreds invest 5 or 10 thousand, COR will grow significantly.
RD isn't much more than a pee hole in a snow bank, but it is all we have left after years of higher level failures. Those of us who came aboard a decade ago for Alzheimers are holding on for something / anything.
Fun is over
Just like last Thursday, a big run-up followed by profit taking. 15 minutes ago we were negative again.
2998 for once I agree with you Neuro
Is something happening? About 100,000 shares traded in the lasst half hour and we've added an extra penny to the price. A penny isn't much, but it's a step in the right direction. Nice to see volume on the uptick for a change.
Slip sliding away eom.
PPS has gone from +7 to -6 in only 11 minutes. Anyone have an idea what is happening?
I do not hold management responsible for the catastrophic situation into which the share price has fallen over the last few years.
When I first bought into Cortex, we were going to conquer Alzheimer’s and knock off Schizophrenia and a few other lesser diseases.
Now our highest aspirations seem to be RD and perhaps jock itch. It is the technology that has failed us, not management, but management is much easier to blame.
Personally, I'd be very content if they'd even develop a dietary supplement with the ostensible claim of enhancing memory to be sold at Walgreen or on late night infomercials.
Dow up 310
Nasdaq up 62
S & P up 39
Cor down 3
We seem to be taking the scenic route to Neuro's 12.
Evidently you are younger than I had assumed, Gfp...
It was the Japanese who bombed Pearl Harbor.
And the mood on this board has been altered by the SP being cut in half.
At the risk of angering the IHUB/Cortex censor/top cop, let me say we need not worry about Stoll's options being exercised anytime soon; the SP is in the toilet. He can buy on the open market a lot cheaper, but he doesn't do that. I wonder why!
When it comes to policing the topics expressed here, why is it hundreds of posts regarding a BP deal are tolerated when we never have a BP deal, but those relating to refinancing are censored when we have refinancing on a regular basis?
As a Cortex investor for about 10 years, I have participated in the roller coaster ride like everyone else and am very disappointed we are still talking only about the potential and not about the accomplishments.
Chet
Low volume, slight price decline......
The CC neither attracted new investors, nor caused present holders to unload. Very vanilla.
It will take news to turn this ship around. Some of us have been around a decade or more. We still believe in the science; that's why we're still here.
My dream is there will be an Alzheimers pill before I need one.
Neuro. Tomorrow's pps activity will tell us how today's cc was accepted by current and potental investors.
How can you interpret it any differently?
In order to learn how current COR investors and potential new COR investors evaluate today's CC, all we have to do is wait for tomorrow's trading. The market will tell us.
All this bull feathers flying around here now is just garbage. Tomorrow will speak volumes.
Chet
OT: if Neuro can dream of $12 then I can dream of a perfect season.
The chances of Stoll divulging any significant information that he hasn't already planned to announce are equivalent to Bill Belichick coming clean on cameragate without a knife in his back.
We will be told what he wants us to know and nothing more.
OT: Before the NFL kicked off, I predicted an undefeated season for my Patriots. You heard it here first!! Go Pats!!
Chet
The most discouraging part of recent developments has nothing to do with the terms of the financing; it's the realization there will be no BP deal this month, next month and perhaps not in my lifetime.
In fact we don't know if any BP has even been sniffing around. Stoll may have said so, but until names are mentioned, I'll take all that with a grain of salt.
I've been a shareowner for 9 years and I've seen enough buying opportunity dips to fill up my portfolio. I won't be throwing more good money in this direction.
Chet
Upndown, if you are correct, then Stoll has certainly given the BP's an opportunity to buy in at a much cheaper price.
Just how is this a benefit to you and me?
John......What deal? There is no deal. If there were a deal, refinancing would have been unnecessary.
The only evidence we have of any BP interest comes from Stoll himself; not from news sources, not from the BP's. This is not proof of anything and now we are weaker.
I said "BP deal" and you said "interest". I think there is a significant chasm here. And now we are crippled in getting any deal with favorable terms. This was the worst possible news at the present time.
I think it's obvious.....There never was a BP deal
It means there is no BP deal in the offing
$2.03 and dropping like a rock.
Looks like our pending news will resemble a hangman's noose.
And who will be the purchasing BP? eom
Apparently everybody in California sleeps in on Wednesdays and has yet to read The Times. How else can COR be off .04 in such a strong market?
In my 9 years owning Cortex I've read time and time again about a BP deal and BP negotiations, but I've never seen any evidence to support that any particular BP has even expressed one iota of interest in us. Two European wanna-bes do not count. Am I wrong? How can we be sure there is now, or has ever been, a serious suitor?
Chet
Following the FDA decision I anticipated a significant PR from Cortex giving insight into the next course of action and direction of the company.
This did not happen. I think the only explanation can be that whatever occurs next will involve a third party, or parties, and no announcement can be made until the details have been etched in stone and the partners choose to make public their own ambitions. Just because COR shareholders want publicity right now does not mean the BP's are of the same opinion.
Any thoughts to the contrary?
Chet
gfp927z, Now that a CC is in the not too distant future, will you please give it a rest regarding the allowable dosing?
You've been kicking this horse much too hard and much too often. With your expertise in the bio field, there are a lot more issues we would all apprecitate hearing your take on re. Cortex. I think you've been around for the 9 years I've owned the stock and you've never been at a loss for words or opinions in the past.
When did you buy back in anyway? I remember you selling out completely, but don't recall when you announced you were long once again. Regardless, glad to have you back on the team.
Chet
Neuro.....Why do you think ADHD is more important to Cortex than Alzheimers?
You said, "This is enough to allow not only the Alzheimer's trial to resume in full--but more importantly, represents the 'clean bill of health' that is needed for the ADHD partnership discussions to go ahead.
To me Alzeimers is the home run and everything else is just biding our time to keep the company alive.
Volume is low...No reason to think anything is breaking now.
Regarding the new URL, I've been there, but don't find a way to access the COR site. Am I just too much ahead of the game, or do I need my GPS?
The Street.com mentioned COR today. We should get a little pop as a result.
Never realized there were that many good reasons not to live in NYC. I only thought about the obnoxious, selfish, unbearable people who snowbird to Florida to stomp all over our idyllic existence
