Rager thanks I plan on it. Already have it printed out
You're not going to believe this (or maybe BB you will). I placed an order to buy 20K shares of LNXWF for 20K shares routed to NITE. About 5 minutes later 10K shares filled at .048 (nice), bid was .041 and ask was .055 at the time....all of a sudden I see the request for the remaining 10K shares CANCELLED BY BROKER and then I get a PHONE CALL from Mytrack saying that NITE made a MISTAKE and they REMOVED the 10K shares at .048....needless to say the phone call was UGLY. What would you all have done? Has this happened to anyone before? I make a mistake and they do nothing; THEY make a mistake and PULL MY SHARES out of my acct that were between bid and ask??????tia
Amy :(
Thanks Shac, btw where is the best place to get contact info like that? I use Dimgroup but apparently not very reliable. When I put in TRBY.OB in Yahoo Finance I came up blank. tia
Amy
Shac I tried to call the TRBY CEO also but I can't find a contact# and on Dimgroup it shows they are in the UK??
tia
Amy
Thanks Shac. eom
thks BB, Shac may I ask which MM you route your orders to? I use mytrack and have that option, tia
Amy
Just for reference bb and all do you choose a particular MM when routing your orders? I hear some people do that. TIA
Amy
"Newbies need to know lol"
Thanks BB, you sure did good with NEGY hope it keeps going up for ya. I'm afraid to jump in when it's already up 100% but I've been wrong before like with RSIH, boy do you have an incredible memory!!!!
NEGY is a wow! Why the big spread tho and what's all the hooplah about? tia
thanks bagheera appreciate the response, Amy
Is anyone holding HYVR?, a lot of buying it looks like now. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a ton of s8's out there?
tia
Amy
thanks Patsy, eom
Hi guys, decided to join you on IPT, hope it's not considered chasing at .38 since most got in yesterday at .35. One interesting thing I noticed: they filled me at the bid for 5000 and 2000 shares and made it look like sells (at least to me it did lol). Any thoughts? tia
Amy
Thanks bb i knew I'd be better off asking someone I trust rather than listening to Bobz "know it alls" ! LOL
Thanks very much!
Amy
Hi bb can you give me your opinion on RSIH? Laet time I looked it was at .015 and today the ask is .03. I'm hearing it looks to be a low float, clean shell. Was wondering about buying and holding some for a while, in case some company thinks so too lol
tia
Amy
thanks bb, sometimes the truth hurts but I'm humbled by your honesty and your fast responses. I've learned a lot by watching you and some of the others here. You're the best
Amy
Hi bb and all! I know that you're not a fan of BMII but when you own stock you try to find the "good" in it somewhere LOL. I've actually owned it for quite a while (and in deep doo doo with it lol) but after reading and trying to make sense/understand the 8K that was just released, please give me your opinion on the following that I found written by larice on RB. If you still think it's a pos i promise not to bring it up again lol. I just don't get the part where people think they need to panic if the 5 Bil is authorized, yet not issued. You're always good at explaining stuff to newbie traders so i thought I'd give it a shot over here
TIA
Amy
"The Big Picture is in the previous PR pasted below and then the details show in this new 8K that the new shares being used as consideration ie payment for the Century deal are being issued to Century people. Now those Century people also want to see value in their newly changed shares, so therefore , quite simply, the whole deal is a plus, good for everyone who owns shares. The 5 Bil is authorized, but not, repeat, not issued! Let it sink in."
here's the big picture;
"Blagman/Century Media is now positioned to achieve the goal we set last year to consolidate strong direct marketing participants into a single enterprise". The consolidated advertising and media placements projected for 2002 of Blagman/Century Media entities will reach $65 million with 2003 projections placed at $100 million plus."
Peter Lambert, CFO of Century Media said, "We feel quite confident that Blagman Media will continue to set a path of innovation in advertising as Century Media has for the past ten years. Since Robert Blagman and staff have been working with us for many years -- we anticipate an easy and productive transition. Although negotiations lasted longer then anticipated -- the added time has made us more confident of the strength of the combined entity."
Robert Blagman further stated, "We are now pursuing additional acquisitions and strategic partnerships within the general advertising community to revolutionize the direction of direct response advertising. Blagman / Century Media is now fully poised to assist all general advertising agencies in the complicated yet revenue rich world of direct marketing."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Michele Fuchs, Senior Vice President / Media Director Blagman Media, said, "Our direct interaction with Century over the last months, has created an environment for tremendous growth and has already resulted in additional media placements of nearly $20 million dollars in the next two quarters. I have had the opportunity to work with Century's media department and feel confident that the integration will be seamless and successful."
The financial aspects of the transaction were not disclosed, BMII confirmed that Century shareholders would receive stock and cash but that BMII was not pursuing any new stock offering to finance the economic requirements of the merger.
And here's the details in latest 8K of Mar 11. clearly for anyone to see, the Century people are not, repeat NOT going to accept shares which are worthless, but instead they see a price increase coming through this deal.
OTHERWISE, my friend, they would NOT be accepting the deal.
Here is the section on CONSIDERATION from Mar 11 8K filing.
2.7 Consideration.
(a) Consideration for Parent. Parent agrees to deliver at Closing to the Century Owners, pro rata to their ownership interests, an amount equal to not more than One Million One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($1,160,000) (the "Maximum Consideration") based on consideration of Twenty Cents ($0.20) ("Per Share Consideration") for each of the Century Shares delivered at Closing of which Two and One-Half Cents ($0.025) shall be payable in cash ("Cash Consideration") and Seventeen and One-Half Cents ($0.175) shall be payable by delivery of Parent Shares (the "Stock Consideration"). The Per Share Consideration multiplied by the number of Century Shares and Century Options outstanding at Closing is referred to herein as the "Actual Consideration". The number of Parent Shares to be delivered to each Century Owner shall be determined by dividing $0.175 by the average of the closing bid price, in an actual sales transaction completed during normal trading hours, of the Parent Shares on the OTC Bulletin Board exchange over the seven (7) trading days prior to the date hereof (the "Seven-Day Average").
BB, Patsy and Cin btw I sold KM the next day for a $10.00 gain after commish LOL. So glad i didn't hang onto it. I really thought they were going to escape BK but guts (and you guys' thoughts) helped me out. whew! BB have a great time on the cruise!
Amu
Patsy, BB and Cintrix, thanks so much for your kind responses. This board helps me "look in the mirror" about things I might miss. My KM buy at $1.60 is a bit scary from yesterday but with any luck we may see $2.00 again. Next time I'll be more cautious lol
Thanks again
Amy
oops sorry BB here it is:
Unbelievable! A Must Read ! From Yahoo board.
Sorry if this has been posted already, but I just can't resist.

I have never in my lifetime of investing seen as much misleading and unprofessional comments made about a company in my life.
Kmart has approx 4.7 Billion in debt
- of this amount 900M relates to capital leases which can be disclaimed in bankruptcy and are not an actual debt but the capitalization of the future lease payments. These leases are in fact worth multiple Billions of dollars because of their below market rents in excellent locations(for the most part).
OK down to 3.8 Billion in "debt" that will become due and payable -
of this amount 2.3 Billion relates to notes payable issued by the company in previous years that does not come due for at minimum 5 years. It makes perect sense for the credit agencies to downgrade this debt because it is unsecured but it doesn't make it come due any earlier.
Ok - down to 1.5 Billion in debt that will become due by 12/02. This amount represents their line of credit with their banks and is the TOTAL LINE AVAILABLE. Because of seasonality this line probably has about 800 Million available right now. I have calculated the applicable covenants and they have been met to date.
OK - down to about 700 Million drawn on their current line of credit. This is not due until 12/02!! so where is the liquidity crisis? of course you can extrapolate losses etc.. until december and claim they may HAVE to file but that is pure conjecture. Right now there is NO liquidity crisis.
The most eggregious injustice that these so called experts are neglecting is that ALL of Kmarts debt is UNSECURED!!!!!! They have 7 BILLION in inventory that is UNSECURED!! If you don't think their banks will renew their credit line on the condition that KM makes their line secured you are crazy, unprofessional, or you have another agenda. Of course if they do make the line secured this makes the current notes payable, leases etc...more risky - hence the downgrades but it doesn't change the fact that KM has SUBSTANTIALLY MORE than adequate available liquidity at their disposal!!!!
The worst of all this in my opinion is the fact that so called experts and college professors are out there saying that KM will be forced into bankruptcy - please that is BS. They have that option and it could save them some cash but it would mean working for the creditors - their capital budget and growth plans would be put on hold etc...So what will happen? They will get a new secured line of credit and go on with business .....meanwhile the current bondholders will be put in a subordinate position.
Hi BB would love your honest opinion on the KMART situation. I spotted this post and it has some good points I think. I really feel good about it coming back significantly in time inspite of any possible future reorganization. Just too many vendors to put under IMO; would like your thoughts as always.
Amy
BB thanks so much for your fast response and great DD to the WTHL thing. I feel pretty comfortable being in at .023 and hoping to be out by .04-.05. I think maybe the buildup to earnings may help a bit. Thanks again
Amy
Hi BB and all. Been admiring this board for some time. Hope you don't mind a new member. Was hoping to get an opinion on WTHL. I bought a few shares last week and this week saw it on 'tag and bag'. Earnings come out on 8/10 and wondered what you guys might think. I was surprised by the news this week too. TIA
