Another typical Missling presentation. Way too many slides. Too much jargon. Way too much unnecessary information. Do people really need to be told that AD is a big market? Investors want to hear about trials, data, pipeline, and next steps. Period.
Another missed opportunity.
DOG bless,
You said the same thing a week ago. A fortnight is two weeks. That means there’s a week to go, not two.
DOG bless,
Please post a link telling us what Dr. Grimmer will be discussing on Saturday. I couldn’t find anything on the conference website.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Such baloney. You’re fooling no one. Every time you announce you’re reloading, the stock drops. It NEVER fails. There’s no way to make money by chasing the stock lower.
bas2020 = bs2024
DOG bless,
It helps keep Missling employed to keep hopeful shareholders salivating. Don’t forget, the BOD is also an audience for him. Most directors, I’m sure including Anavex’s directors, spend very little time focused on the companies on whose boards they sit. Directors are loathe to get involved in management decisions and generally don’t want to rock the boat unless they absolutely have to. As long as it sounds good, directors will sit back.
Separately, I’m not sure that the WGTers, or message boards in general for that matter, don’t affect the share price. There could well be hundreds or even thousands of people who read this board and never post but who are at somewhat influenced by what they read. We really don’t know and I’ve never seen a research study on the subject of message board influence on investor sentiment or stock prices.
Regardless, Missling is a pro when it comes to keeping shareholders hopeful. He’s done it many times and always successfully. Remember, a lot of people just want to hear things that confirm their own bias.
DOG bless,
BINGO! This is what Missling does so well. He dangles a carrot in front of the WGTers and they get all excited and frothing at the mouth debating the 85% percent likelihood of success. Meanwhile, a filing with the EMA isn’t even listed on Slide 8 of the 2024 presentation.
Missling knows his cult followers better than they know themselves. It never fails!
Enjoys today’s presentation, folks. Haha. It’ll just be the same old, same old.
DOG bless,
In a lower interest rate environment, many investors will rotate out of high risk, early stage biotech stocks and into stocks of growth companies with accelerating revenues and earnings.
Absent a regulatory approval, AVXL could be a laggard in 2024.
Good licks and DOG
Did you even bother to read this paper from beginning to end before posting the link? Do you understand what this research was about? It’s an interesting paper but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Anavex. I point this out because I’m sure you wouldn’t anybody to incorrectly assume that it does. Also, Anavex’s Fragile X Phase 2/3 “potentially pivotal” trial has been on the “near term” catalysts slide for at least two years and still hasn’t gone anywhere. I’m sure you know that.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Rate cuts and a strong economy have nothing to do with the timing of drug approvals. But you already knew that.
Your hero first needs to file the appropriate documentation with the various regulators. But you already knew that, too.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT ALREADY!
Good licks and DOG bless,
Georgejjl tends to post things without actually reading them, which makes him look silly.
You are correct, the 2024 corporate presentation says nothing about the EMA. Not even on slide 8, which lists “near term” catalysts. You would think that the MAA filing would at least rate inclusion on Slide 8.
As I said yesterday, at the conference Missling will race through the same 33 densely packed slides that no human could possibly follow (much less see on a smaller screen) or remember what they saw if they did.
What I’d like to know is what does that outside IR guy, Barwicki, actually do to justify his monthly retainer. In my experience, Anavex has the absolute worst communications of any company I’ve ever followed.
Every time Missling is going to present at an investor conference, the WGTers imagine (or predict) that huge news will be announced, and every time, without fail, they are disappointed and/or more confused than ever.
Does Missling do this on purpose, or does he just not understand that for investors less is actually more? Who knows.🤷♂️
DOG bless,
Yes, exactly. Speaking for myself, I believe the science is interesting and has potential but I don’t have confidence in Missling’s leadership based on his poor track record. I believe we shareholders would be better served if Anavex hired a seasoned CEO with the right kind of experience, a track record of success, and credibility with the larger biotech investment community and pharma. Officers and directors have a fiduciary obligation to enhance shareholder value. Missling has failed that responsibility and so have the directors.
As shareholders, we’re entitled to have top-flight leadership working tirelessly and flawlessly on our behalf. Is that too much to ask?
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT ALREADY!
DOG bless,
Please show us where it says that to post on this message board you must be a member of the WGT cult.
People can own shares of a company and bitterly disagree with management’s strategies or policies. Likewise, you can be a citizen of a country and bitterly disagree with the government’s strategies or policies.
DOG bless,
Tomorrow will you be telling us to expect HUGE NEWS next week?
In early January you promised all of your predictions for 2024 would be correct. So far you’ve gotten one prediction right, which was when the EXCELLENCE trial failed and the stock tanked. (Not what you had anticipated.) That was definitely huge news. Other than that, you’re batting zero.
Good licks and DOG bless,
I’ll say it again for the benefit of anyone who missed my earlier post. Spontaneous but temporary improvements in cognition can and do occur. The truth is that we don’t know if Ern’s improvement was due to Blarcamesine or to something else. What we do know if that the video proves nothing and should be viewed with a degree of skepticism. Whatever you do, don’t invest your money based on a video. Videos are not grounds for regulatory approvals.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Wrong, of course. $5.14, down 16 cents, on volume of 987K shares sold.
Seriously, dude, don’t you get tired of being wrong all the time? Don’t you realize how silly you look?
Good licks and DOG bless,
What you’re really saying is people should learn to trust YOU.
That is not going to be allowed to happen.
DOG bless,
NEVER EVER BELIEVE KNOWN PAID PUMPERS WHO ARE LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF GULLIBLE NEWBIES AND WHO INVOKE GOD’S BLESSINGS TO CONVINCE THEM OF THEIR ALTRUISTIC MOTIVES.
Investors who are considering buying stock need to do the hard work of doing their own due diligence and not rely on insidious message board posters and their six year old videos that mean nothing.
Good licks and DOG bless,
“People should learn to trust Anavex and the science.”
Wrong! People should learn to be skeptical and to apply critical thinking skills before making investment decisions annd should not take advice from paid pumpers looking to exploit gullible investors for their own benefit.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Six year old videos of patients who are probably dead by now prove nothing. It is a fact that AD patients can show spontaneous improvements for short periods of time only to decline again. I saw this with my own father. There were times when he seemed to be back to himself and then the next day he was gone again. Here is more information:
https://www.nia.nih.gov/research/blog/2019/09/exploring-unexpected-what-can-we-learn-lucidity-dementia#:~:text=A%20number%20of%20case%20reports,at%20the%20end%20of%20life.
https://med.virginia.edu/perceptual-studies/wp-content/uploads/sites/360/2021/04/terminal-lucidity-PC.pdf
The videos Georgejjl posts over and over again prove nothing and should not be the deciding factor when thinking about taking a position or adding to a position. Only robust data from well-designed trials that regulators find compelling matter. Don’t let paid pumpers convince you of something that may or may not be clinically meaningful. Don’t be a sucker!
Good licks and DOG bless,
On some level I agree with you. On the other hand, there are novice, unsophisticated investors who don’t understand the insidious message board game some play and don’t have professional financial advisors to help them develop a financial plan that works for them.
Anyone who reads my posts knows I don’t tell people what to do with their money. But I do think it’s important to point out that appearances can be deceiving and there are nefarious players who seek to take advantage of unsophisticated investors for their own gain.
I don’t have a problem with people being optimistIc if that’s what their due diligence tells them as long as they recognize the risks involved and are prepared to lose their investment.
The pumper’s game is not to inform but to persuade gullible investors for their personal benefit. If you post believable-sounding nonsense in order to stimulate buying so that you can sell on a rising stock price, that is a form of theft in my opinion.
So yes, buyer beware. What you do with your money is your responsibility. The important part is to be aware that you’re dealing with the underbelly of Wall Street and when you rely on message board posters, especially those who offer God’s blessings, to inform your decisions. You have to realize that all is not what it appears to be.
DOG bless,
Missling has NEVER announced news at an investor conference. As usual, he will have 15-20 minutes to fly through a too-long, too dense presentation and maybe 5 minutes for questions.
Any expectations from the paid pumper for HUGE news next week will lead to the usual disappointment by a new group of bag holders.
DOG bless,
I agree with part of your statement. Anavex is a company.
From the information you posted, I found this particularly telling: The s-1 receptor’s role in neurodegenerative diseases is poorly understood.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Frankly, it doesn’t matter what you believe. The FDA controls the drug approval process in the U.S. and other regulatory agencies do the same in other jurisdictions. That is how it is.
Good licks and DOG bless,
The purpose of clinical trials is to test a drug for safety and efficacy and produce a data set.
The purpose of your post is to get suckers to buy so you can sell, leaving bag holders in your wake. We have seen this over and over again.
Folks, do not fall for the insidious pumping. We can hope that the small Phase 2 trial will give us a solid data set to prepare for larger phase 3 trials. However, success is not guaranteed. Until the trial is over and the data are analyzed, it’s all hype and speculation.
If you can afford to lose whatever amount you might decide to buy, and you think there’s a decent chance to make money, then by all means have at it.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT ALREADY!
Good licks and DOG bless,
Pot calling the kettle black. Too funny. Dead cat bounce won’t last long. Momentum investors will sell soon, as will you.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
Good licks and DOG bless,
What you, Nidan, Georgejjl and a smaller and smaller number of others can’t stand is the truth. Instead, you prefer a fantasy world justified by wacky conspiracy theories with no basis in reality or evidence. I guess it’s better for some to try to create their own reality than admit they might just be wrong.
The evidence of Missling’s incompetence is clear. Just accept it.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
What makes you think it’s Fidelity?
DOG bless,
That and $2.95 will get you a ride on the NYC subway. By the way, did you notice there were 6 hedge fund holders in the 4th quarter down from 9 in the prior quarter? Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Big whoop. The stock couldn’t even hold $5.00.
The “Missling Discount” continues to weigh on the stock.
Good licks and DOG bless,
You’ve been here a long time and you still haven’t figured it out?
Let’s go through the list:
-Incompetent, first-time CEO with checked employment history and zero credibility among institutional biotech investors,
-Complacent, compliant board of directors,
-Company funded through vulture investor,
-Cherry picked data,
-Changing endpoints to make data look better,
-Goal post moving,
-Burying data for years on end,
-Missed timelines 100% of the time,
-Horrible communications that leave investors with more questions than answers,
-No pharma partnerships,
-Past stock promotion schemes,
-Current threat of class action lawsuits.
I’m sure I missed a few.
What is NOT going on:
-Manipulation by WS, FDA, pharma cabal to take shares lower so insty buddies can buy cheaper.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
Good licks and DOG bless,
Woo hoo! Up a whopping 3 cents.
Keep pumping, George. That’s what you’re being paid to do.
Good licks and DOG bless,
Only in your imagination.
DOG bless,
It’s always tempting to read something into things like this but don’t get too excited. Missling never announces conferences too far in advance.
DOG bless,
Not likely since the timing of publication of a peer-reviewed paper is not controlled by Anavex or any other company.
DOG bless,
Your statement is partially true. Missling can’t trust others.
As for staying on script, I don’t know what you mean. First of all, there is no script. Secondly, I bet Kaufmann could give an excellent presentation. And if he’s not a great presenter, there are professional communicators who work with executives to hone their presentation skills.
No sir, the problem is Missling.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
I have a different take. There’s nothing wrong with presenting at conferences because it’s an opportunity to meet potential new shareholders. The problem is the guy who presents. There is no law that says only the CEO can present. I’m sure Dr. Kaufmann is a good presenter. He’s the guy who should be presenting. The problem, it appears, is Missling can’t let go. It’s threatening to him if he’s not the one and only public face of the company.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
“We are all sitting on the big GOLD MINE that BP-W/S wants to keep on the back burner.”
The belief that somehow BP and W/S want to keep the Anavex gold mine on the back burner is conspiratorial nonsense with no basis in fact or evidence to support it.
If BP thought Anavex had something of real value, they’d have bought the company at whatever premium would be necessary.
MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
“When are folks going to learn checking for themselves and thinking over immediately on autopilot calling FUD and living in their WGT bubble?”
NEVER. They are MAGA - MAKE ANAVEX GREAT AGAIN!
Did you listen to MayoMobile’s recent interview with Dr. Grimmer? I don’t think you did because if you had you would have seen that Dr. Grimmer is intrigued but made it clear that more study is needed. He is a scientist, not a WGTer cult member. MayoMobile tried to pin him down several times for an opinion but Dr. G. was not going for it. You could even see from Dr. Grimmer’s body language that he was determined to stay neutral.
I think your unrealistic expectations and predictions for the March 9 presentation are a set up for disappointment. Dr. Grimmer will present his information in his role as a scientist but he will not be cheerleading.
DOG bless,
Just plain PUMPING.
Good licks and DOG bless,
