Moving forward is always good. Hopefully this will be a great play one year removed from what I considered a pretty scammy move. I am looking forward to the next few weeks.
Ok so I have owned this for a while and am hoping for the best but I have one question. Did anyone notice how the email response that 53chevy got on the 14th says that they just received all information and then this response to niceguytom today says the same thing. When did they actually get the information from NPYC? If this was any other stock I would give it the benefit of the doubt but they did burn us last year about this time.
PHLI moving on low volume.
NPYC Whats up with this thing today?
Your probably right but we can only hope to get this pos moving in the right direction.
Well I guess we could only hope for a rematch because that would mean we would be in the final four. Good luck to the Jayhawks.
Florida did not have their 5 starters at full strength. While I still think this would be a good game, I think it would be a different outcome.
It seemed like that happened to several teams in the SEC this year. I have no idea if everyone was equally good or equally bad. We will find out over the course of the next two weeks.
Good luck to the hogs and the commodores as well. Go SEC.
Sorry about the game today hogfan. Same building, same outcome. Go Gators.
You are right about government figures. They are all garbage no matter who or what party they come from.
I am not arguing with you but one of the reasons why they have so many resumes is because its so easy to get yours out there. For example: I have worked for the same company for 6 years now. (I just turned 30)I love my job and make great money. However from time to time I go online and send out my resume to see if there is something I can't pass up. You used to not be able to do this. I think the unemployment numbers should be adjusted to reflect a "job" a little better but I don't think that there is rampant unemployment out there. In fact I don't know anybody that is not working right now and is looking for a job. I do however think that a recession is looming and that jobs numbers will begin to show some weakness going forward. I'm with Wadegarret on this one and have gone to shorts and cash.
I was wondering the same thing. I think we would have heard about this if there was no reverse split.
I'm in this at 53.87 and hoping your $75 price hits.
I just got home and got it. Thanks a million.
I tried sending my email to get the PHLI report but it probably ended up in your junk folder with others. If you have time send me one at bjsig@msn.com.
yes is did.
I expect this to go strong at least through dividend time.
Another Floridian here for it as long as they totally do away with property taxes. Then again I wish the feds would just install the fair tax and be done with it.
I love this company but sometimes it becomes so boring. I guess insurance is pretty boring but these guys do no give us anything unless they have to. I would like more updates on the "state of the company" but that is not UVIH. Long and strong.
Mine went from 2100 to 3900 in November with UVIH. At this point appealing to anyone is not going to do any good. The market will work itself out once the hurricanes calm down. The last thing we need is for government to step in and ruin something else. We would just end up paying for it with taxes on the back end. I am just planning on paying for the next few years with my UVIH stock procedes.
Dixie Chicks suck. I listen to country and never even heard of that song they won the award for. Carrie Underwood on the other hand..........
I just checked that this morning and it was still the old pages. They must be working on it today.
No problem. Just kidding around. Good luck to you as well.
What?
Thats what I thought. In order to use it as toiler paper I am going to soak it in water and put it throught the dryer a few times.
Alright so I have been gone for a while but I just got my preferred shares in the mail today from TD Ameritrade. What the hell is this thing good for? Can you actually turn this in for a free cookie or something?
Goal of a Publicly Traded Company: The Company founders set a goal of becoming a publicly traded company, facilitated by a reverse merger. Attaining this goal will add tremendous value and asset and will derive a sustainable income stream and thereby potentially attracting the biggest acts in the world to our label.
I cut and pasted this off their webpage. Pretty interesting.
I don't think this will hurt the insurance companies too much in the long run. Crist is going to save the homeowners money by saving the insurance companies money. Therefore the insurance companies should still see good numbers. This plan also doesn't bring any of the big companies (Allstate, State Farm etc...) back into Florida. The competition will still be much less than it used to be a few years back. The only way this may change is if they mandate that you can only sell other types of insurance (ie Auto) if you sell homeowners as well. However, even if they do go in that direction it could backfire. Most of the big companies have been saying that they will just stop selling every type of insurance in the state. This would create a huge insurance crisis in Florida so I don't think they will go in that direction exactly. Bottom line is that no one knows what is going to happen but my best guess would be continued growth from the smaller insurance companies. They will fill the gaps for the big guys that simply don't want to deal with it anymore.
PS My insurace went up by 40% this year so it would still be higher than I was paying before if they are able to roll back the rates.
We are on a roll now folks. Financials in a month, Amex sometime in the next two months and dividend date is in March. Onward and upward. Wallstreetman, great job on the board. We have needed it for a while now.
Looks great! Keep up the good work.
I am still invested here and have never waivered. I am interested to see what the new government in Florida is going to do about the high premiums. Luckily they are Republican so I doubt they will do anything to hurt the private companies but who knows. I think they can help the people and not hurt the private insurers at the same time. I am staying long for at least the next few months. I am a stockholder and and a policyholder.
They were late filing so they had an e for a little bit.
Good buy linus
It had an e on the end of it and it came off. CEO has been buying substantial quantities the last couple of days.
What you all think about IEAM? I have been reading you board for a long time and think it is one of the best on here.
I keep buying on the dips. The next 6-9 months should be interesting.
All of the property and casualty insurance companies that have a large stake in Florida have taken off recently. Mostly due to the fact that the hurricane season was a non event this year. Many of the companies have pulled out of many areas of the state or stopped insuring in Florida all together. This leaves the rest with much less competition. As long as there are no major catastophes then these companies should do very well. The rates are double and triple what they were just last year. Future financials should reflect this situation very nicely. This is all in my opinion of course.
That is weird. Maybe you can send that to the moderator, Wayne R, and have it posted on the board.
Just doubled up my position at $2.42. I just have a good feeling about this one. I called about 5 different insurance brokers here in Palm Beach County looking for coverage and they all offered me Universal. I finally asked why and the lady told me that they are one of the only companies covering houses older than ten years. (Mine was built in 94 and is Concrete Block)She also said that typically they have the best rates so that is why most of the brokers are going with them. I stand by my previous opinion that this company is going to be raking in the dough based on the non existent hurricane season.
