Once a sucker, always a sucker.
You've fallen for that line of crap like, what, the last twelve times now? Yeah, those Iraqi troops are sooo super dooper effective, aren't they.
Get a clue dude.
Bwahahahahaha.
Wow, whoever wrote and produced this is a true hero of 911, just like the firefighters who climbed 78 floors to be murdered by immolation by the true 911 conspirators.
Post this link far and wide. It just might save the world.

The 9/11 Commission: A Play on Nothing in Three Acts
by Sibel Edmonds & Bill Weaver
A wag once famously said that Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot was a play where nothing happened . . . twice. The two former co-chairmen of the 9-11 commission report, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, have released a new book, "Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9-11 Commission." This book goes Beckett one better – it is the third act of veneer over substance, self-aggrandizement over serious analysis, and cliché over perspicacity. It is another calculated attempt by the former commissioners to place themselves in the media spotlight, and to overcome the humiliation of their widely criticized and mostly debunked report. It is a vapid and substanceless attempt to claim moral high ground and present the co-chairmen as heroes of honesty. It would be a farce, except that it has no story line, save the aggrandizement of the authors. At least they are consistent in doing nothing and proclaiming that to be a sign of their devotion to the country and the government. Beckett once said that “habit is the ballast that chains the dog to its vomit,” and by this measure the chain restraining Kean and Hamilton is a short one indeed.
As you recall, Act One, “The Dirty Ten Digging on 9/11,” consisted of extraordinary performances by every single member of the commission to convince us, the audience -- the gullible public -- of commission independence, and its intent to provide our nation with the truth, nothing but the whole truth; their pledge to hold the ‘culprits’ accountable, no matter how high or low on the ladder of the bureaucracy; their commitment to provide “meaningful fixes and remedies,” regardless of any resistance they may have to face.
During Act Two, the commissioners, led by their stars, Kean and Hamilton, put on the performance of their lives. They delivered a document that promised to be more than the mere sum of mortal intelligence; they promised a report that drew on the nation’s soul and would lay bare the necessity and nature of change.
Initially, this play, scripted by the very powers the commission was to investigate, was to have only two acts. However, due to gradually increasing critiques by some in the media, even some of those who originally attended the serenade chorus, and fairly loud boos from some of the previously cheering audience, the producers have now decided to add additional act(s). Act Three, the Finger-Pointing and Blame Game, stars Kean and Hamilton as two comrades holding hands during the act and directing blame at the other eight commission members, who are now cast as traitors and deceivers. The audience is led to assume that the other eight members were responsible for the now untenable report; decided to pursue practical failure but achieve popular success; traded the public welfare for personal gain.
The Commission was created and put in place due to the relentless pressure and outcry by the 9/11 family members and their public supporters who had three objectives in mind: 1) Getting all the facts; 2) Establishing Accountability for those who failed us due to their intentional or unintentional acts; 3) Provide recommendation for real fixes and meaningful remedies.
The Commission fulfilled none of those three objectives. In their responsibility to report all the facts: They either refused to interview all relevant experts and witnesses, or, they censored the reports provided to them by those with direct and first-hand information. Both these acts were selective and intentional. Contrary to their pledge to establish accountability: They refused to hold anyone accountable and lamely justified it by saying, “We don’t want to point a finger at anyone.” All those responsible individuals remained in their positions or were even promoted. And as far as meaningful remedies and reforms are concerned, the commission threw in senseless, and in some cases, detrimental cosmetic and bureaucratic “solutions” that ended up making our government even more cumbersome and unable to respond to threats to national security. In the name of solutions and reforms, they forced down our throats exactly what led to the failure to protect our nation on 9/11: A highly bureaucratic, complicated, inefficient mammoth of a malfunctioning machine.
On the Fifth anniversary of the September Eleven Terror Attacks, we, the National Security Whistleblowers, want to go on record one more time to reiterate the significant issues and cases that were duly reported to the 9/11 commission by those of us from the Intelligence, Aviation, and Law Enforcement communities, but ended up being censored and omitted. The failure to address such serious and relevant issues, witnesses, and information renders the report flawed and the commissioners parties to a fraud on the nation.
The following Veteran National Security experts were turned away, ignored, or censored by the 9/11 Commission, even though they had direct and relevant information related to the Commission’s investigation:
John M. Cole, Former Veteran Intelligence Operations Specialist; FBI - Mr. Cole worked for 18 years in the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division as an Intelligence Operations specialist, and was in charge of FBI’s foreign intelligence investigations covering India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Mr. Cole had knowledge of certain activities that directly related to the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. He notified the 9/11 Commission during its investigation, but never received a response. His name and contact information was provided to the Commission as a key witness by other witnesses, but he was never contacted or interviewed.
John Vincent, Retired Special Agent, Counterterrorism; FBI - Mr. Vincent worked for the FBI for 27 1/2 years before retiring in 2002. He worked his last 8 years in counterterrorism in the FBI’s Chicago Field Office. Mr. Vincent, along with Robert Wright, exposed inefficiencies within the FBI in working counterterrorism cases, and certain warnings they had tried to pursue prior to the 9/11 attack that were directly related to Al-Qaeda’s financial network and money laundering activities. Although he was granted an interview, the commissioners’ investigators refused to let him provide them with information related to his case and the 9/11 terrorists network; they insisted on limiting the interview to only administrative and irrelevant questions and issues.
Robert Wright, Veteran Special Agent, Counterterrorism; FBI - Mr. Wright is a veteran special agent in the FBI Chicago Field Office Counterterrorism Unit. He had been investigating a suspected terrorist cell for three years, when he was informed in January 2001 that the case was being closed. Agent Wright, along with Mr. Vincent, exposed inefficiencies within the FBI in working counterterrorism cases and certain warnings they’d tried to pursue prior to the 9/11 attack that were directly related to Al-Qaeda’s financial network and money laundering activities. Three months before September 11, Wright wrote a stinging internal memo charging that the FBI was not interested in thwarting a terrorist attack, but rather "was merely gathering intelligence so they would know who to arrest when a terrorist attack occurred." The FBI refused to allow Wright to testify before the 9/11 Commission, however, the Commission did not insist or attempt to subpoena Wright; despite the fact that it had subpoena power.
Sibel Edmonds, Former Language Specialist; FBI - Ms. Edmonds worked for the FBI’s Washington Field Office as a language specialist with Top Secret Clearance performing translations for counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations dealing with Turkey, Iran, and Turkic speaking Central Asian countries. She contacted the 9/11 Commission in May 2003 and requested a meeting to provide them with information directly related to the terrorist attack. The Commission investigators refused to meet with Edmonds and informed her that due to their limited resources and time they were not going to interview all witnesses. She was able to provide the commission with information and documents only after certain 9/11 family members intervened directly. Ms. Edmonds’ testimony was completely censored by the Commission.
Behrooz Sarshar, Former Language Specialist; FBI - Mr. Sarshar worked for the FBI’s Washington Field Office as a language specialist with Top Secret Clearance performing Farsi translations for counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations dealing with Iran and Afghanistan. He had first-hand information of prior specific warning obtained from a reliable informant in April 2001 on the terrorist attacks of September 11. Mr. Sarshar contacted the Commission directly but was refused. He was given an interview with the Commission investigators only after 9/11 family members intervened directly. Mr. Sarshar’s documented testimony was completely omitted from the commission’s final report, despite his case being publicly confirmed by Director Mueller’s Office.
Mike German, Special Agent, Counterterrorism; FBI - Mr. German served sixteen years as an FBI Special Agent and is one of the rare agents credited with actually having prevented acts of terrorism before it became the FBI's number one priority. He contacted the Commission in the spring of 2004, but did not receive a response. In 2002 he reported gross mismanagement in a post 9/11-counterterrorism investigation, which included serious violations of FBI policy and federal law. Mr. German contacted the 9/11 Commission during its investigation and requested that he be given an interview session in order to provide them with certain domestic counterterrorism investigations that he’d pursued. According to Mr. German there were links between certain domestic and international counterterrorism related to the September 11 attacks. The 9/11 Commissioners refused to acknowledge his request and never interviewed him.
Gilbert Graham, Retired Special Agent, Counterintelligence; FBI - Mr. Graham worked for the FBI’s Washington Field Office Counterintelligence Division until 2002. In February 2004 his name and contact information were provided to the Commission as a key witness with information pertinent to the Commission’s investigation. The 9/11 Commission refused to follow up and never contacted Mr. Graham.
Coleen Rowley, Retired Division Counsel; FBI - In May 2002, Coleen Rowley, as the Division Counsel at the FBI Minneapolis Office, blew the whistle on the FBI’s failure to pursue Zacarias Moussaoui’s case prior to 9/11, despite all attempts made by the Minneapolis division counterterrorism agents. She reported that FBI HQ personnel in Washington, D.C., had mishandled and neglected to take action on information provided by her division. Despite her high-profile case the commission chose not to interview Ms. Rowley. According to Ms. Rowley, no one from the FBI Minneapolis Office (several Agents had direct information) was ever asked to provide testimony, information, to the 9/11 Commission.
Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Shaffer, DIA - Colonel Shaffer provided the Commission with detailed information on intelligence and pre warning information obtained by his unit’s data mining project, Able Danger. The 9/11 commission staff received not one but two briefings on Able Danger from Mr. Shaffer and his former team members, yet did not pursue the case, did not follow up on this documented report and refused to subpoena the relevant files. Mr. Shaffer’s testimony, together with other witnesses who corroborated his testimony and information, were censored by the 9/11 Commissioners and never made it to its final report.
Dick Stoltz, Retired Special Agent; ATF- Mr. Stoltz, a veteran undercover agent with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, had played an important role in Operation Diamondback between 1998 and 2001. The sting operation involved a group of Middle Eastern men living in New Jersey who were caught on tape in an ATF weapons sting conspiring to buy millions of dollars of weapons including components for nuclear bombs. The case came to a screeching halt with the arrest of only a handful of suspects in June of 2001 even though there was ample evidence that some of the people who were attempting to buy these weapons had connections with the Taliban, Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden himself. The 9/11 Commission refused to contact Agent Stoltz despite all attempts made by several witnesses from the intelligence & Law Enforcement Communities, and the 9/11 Family group, Jersey Moms.
Bogdan Dzakovic, Former Red Team Leader; FAA - Mr. Dzakovic had worked for the Security Division of the Federal Aviation Administration since 1987 as a Special Agent, as a Team Leader in the Federal Air Marshals, and from 1995 until September 11, 2001 was a Team Leader of the Red Team (terrorist team). Mr. Dzakovic had tried for several years prior to the 9-11 attacks to improve aviation security in the face of the ever-increasing terrorist threat. He provided the 9/11 Commission with his testimony and documented reports. His testimony and report to the Commission was completely omitted from the final report.
Linda Lewis, Retired Emergency Programs Specialist; USDA - Ms. Lewis worked for 13 years evaluating and coordinating federal, state and local preparedness for nuclear, radiological and chemical weapons emergencies. Prior to September 11, 2001, she had reported numerous inadequacies and dysfunctions in emergency preparedness, including a culture of intimidation that discouraged federal evaluators from reporting inadequacies in state and local plans and preparedness. USDA officials had thwarted her efforts to bring in terrorism experts to help the agency prepare for attacks on federal buildings, including bio-weapons attacks such as the anthrax attacks of 2001. In vain, she had urged FEMA officials to develop a national emergency communications plan and require interoperability of federally funded emergency communications equipment. In the absence of these preparations, New York City firefighters and police officers were unable to communicate critical information on September 11 at the World Trade Center. Ms. Lewis contacted the Commission and offered to provide information regarding dysfunctional government preparedness, but the Commission never responded.
Mark Burton, Senior Analyst; NSA – Mr. Burton served as an all-source threat analyst in NSA’s Information Assurance Directorate (IAD) for most of his 16-year career. He was the editor of IAD’s premier threat document; the 300+ page ISSO Global Threat Summary, and was an adjunct faculty member at NSA’s National Cryptologic School. He provided dozens of pages of relevant information to the 9/11 Commission, but was completely ignored and never asked to testify.
The above list does not include many others from the intelligence and law enforcement communities who had similarly contacted or reported to the commission but had been either turned away or censored, and of course many others’ who are still working within these agencies and are fearful of making their identities known, due to the relentless pursuit of and retaliation against whistleblowers by government agencies.

Of course, you will be given a lawyer, hearing, due process and habeus corpus rights afforded such non-combatants per the Supreme Court, and the Patriot Act's revisions to the 'quaint' U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Anyone who quotes Rushie boy to advocate or defend a position automatically forfeits and is disqualified.
Holy sheet-a-roni, F6, that's exceptionally alarming. Even if they're off by a factor of 2, there's only 20 years left for the U.S. the E.U., China, Japan, and India (let's face it, they're among the few countries that can collectively make a meaningful difference in what may well be a trend that is unreversible) to halt this global catastrophe from occurring.
The ice sample evidence cited (I'm going to try to track down the study itself to further review it) appear to be both objective, compelling and catastrophic.
Given the glacial rate (no pun intended) it takes to effect a significant change in global politics and policies, this does not bode well.
After all, how long did it take to get the International Whaling Commission established and then, to adopt meaningful policies, monitoring and enforcement mechanisms. And, how long did it take Japan to figure out how to circumvent them? And the survival of whales is just a minor footnote when compared to the worldwide catastrophic effects of global warming.
God help our children. You can run, but you can't hide.
Just realized the two links are in reverse order in the text of that post.
Sorry for any confusion.
Thanks F6.
BTW, the remnants of Ernesto are passing over me now - and making sure we'll get extra soaked tomorrow during our planned camping trip. Might have to re-think those plans.
It's delivering a decent amount of rain so far, and moderate gusts (guessing about 30-40 knots). Nothing bad, though there could well be flooding in the mountains. We certainly needed the rain.

Two must read articles - if you have the stomach for them. Neither are easy to read - they're sickening which is why I haven't posted the text here.
The first concerns the OKCBombing cover-up focusing on the murder of Mr. Trentadue while he was a guest in (Federal, I think) prison in Oklahoma and this event's relationship to the McVeigh/Elohim City nexus.
http://politics.abovetopsecret.com/thread125549/pg
The second focuses on the receipt of photos within the last 24 hours or so, by the mother of kidnap victim Johnny Gosch(the young boy kidnapped in Des Moines Iowa 24 years ago)and two other young boys.
http://www.slweekly.com/article.cfm/whokilledkenny
As others have documented, Johnny - after being seized from a loving home as a young boy was subjected to years of abuse, torture, and psychological manipulation by a cabal of perverts and child molesters linked to some of the richest and most powerful men in the U.S. - now lives his life under another name, Jeff Gannon.
Yes, THAT Jeff Gannon. The fake reporter, real male prostitute credentialed by the Bush WH as a WH correspondent reporting for a fake news service run by one of the sponsors of the Swift Boat ads (as memory serves me). 'Jeff' attended a dozen or more WH press conferences where he would ask softball leading questions. He was also documented - based on official WH logs maintained by the Sec Svc to have oftentimes signed into the WH one day and signed out the next, or never signed out at all.
For those wishing to see the ugly, stinking, perverted belly of the beast that passes for our 'government', these two stories and earlier reports related thereto could well cause you to see the world a little differently from now on.
(Would someone please x-post this on the IHub JFSAG board for me? I can't seem to access it at this time. TKs, Shaz.)
Of course it was shot down. That's why the last part of the tape transcripts have never been released.
Why it was shot down is also fairly obvious. Cheney/Bush/Rummy couldn't risk having the incipient passenger revolt succeed and have even a single survivor of that flight.
yeah, that's the guy who was convicted for molesting the 14-year old girl about a month or two ago. it was the same girl who appeared in one of his swift boat ads.
not to be confused with Jeff Gannon/Guckert the male prostitute credentialed by the WH who fronted for another swift-boat linked phony news service 'Talon News'.
yup, convicted about a month ago.
oh, and although he was above the age of consent, don't forget the mysterious gay hooker journalist who got WH credentials Mr. Jeff Gannon.
now that story was huge, particularly since it turned out he sometimes checked in with WH security and not check out until the following day.
those questions he would ask McClellan at the WH press briefings weren't called 'softballs' for nuttin' honey.

Hunter too? Oh my.
Oh, and then there was the revelation about the 'hookergate' limo, cigar/poker parties at the White House involving Porter Goss and the number 3 guy at the CIA that was revealed about 3-4 months ago and then buried... Those hookers weren't necessarily all female, either. Porter Goss got the boot from CIA shortly thereafter. Maybe he'll get a Medal of Freedom like Tenet did for his tri-fecta: taking a dive, bending over, and swallowing again and again and again...
And don't forget the recent conviction for child molestation of a 14-year old girl by the guy who put together the mis-named 'swiftboat veterans for truth' ads..... which used the 14-year old girl!
gee, that sounds like a conspiracy theory.
you and Mr. hap both seem to react from a state of paranoia and fear.
have you joined the 108th Keyboard Battalion yet?
Earnie, yet one more Jewish voice against the Israeli policy of devastating virtually any and all of an entire country when two of its soldiers are captured. The Israeli response - which pulverizes and penalizes all elements of Lebanese society is soooo out of all scale and proportion to the provocation that one can only conclude they don't actually give a shiit about the two abducted soldiers.
The Likudnik/fascists who control the current Israeli govt clearly have another agenda which includes (but is almost certainly not limited to) destroying the nascent Lebanese democracy only months after the country succeeded in peacefully ejecting the Syrians who had occupied much of the country for the previous 20-30 years.
In a just world, the criminal Bush admin along with the criminal Israeli admin would all be indicted, tried, convicted, jailed and/or executed for war crimes - as was much of the surviving Nazi leadership was after WWII.

Lebanon crisis reveals an Anti-Jewish Israeli State
by Joshua Stein
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert along with his confederates who bombs innocent civilians in Lebanon, in the name of protecting a 'Jewish State' has committed a great apparent abomination against Jewish law.
Hezbollah militants crossed into Israel in mid-July 2006 and captured two Israeli soldiers. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert calls the soldiers' capture "an act of war." Israel then responds in southern Lebanon with warplanes, tanks and gunboats, among other forms of military retaliation. U.S. President George W. Bush responds a couple of days after Israel's abrupt military response by rejecting a request by Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora to support calls for an immediate ceasefire on Israel.
Members of the Israeli government including Prime Minister Olmert refer to themselves as Jews, who are champions of the Jewish State of Israel as Mr. Bush refers to himself as a "Christian" champion. However, the current crisis in Lebanon has nothing substantively to do with either Judaism or Christianity.
The hideous intelligence of Jewish and Christian impostors
Israeli elites who bomb innocent Lebanese civilians are influenced by the Leo Strauss, who was a Zionist who sought to re-create German Nazism in a scheme of "World Domination".
Judaism, and the Christianity that Jesus inspired, are religions which embrace peace, and a related system of social ethics. In contrast, the perpetrated actions by Israeli elites and their U.S. neo-conservative allies against innocent Lebanese civilians, reveals a hideous intelligence far from the spirit of either Judaism or Christianity.
The perpetration of a criminal act of a group who kidnaps two soldiers, does not justify the infliction of or the loss of not even one innocent life of a human being. Indeed, the Lord's Commandments to both the Jews and the Christians is "Thou Shall not Kill". Israel to-date is already responsible for thousands of casualties, maimings, and injuries. However, it is apparent that these modern day Israelis along with their allies, have turned their back against the enlightened messages of the Torah. That action is somewhat reminiscent of early Israelites who turned to worshipping the "Golden Calf", when Moses was on Mt. Sanai. The "Golden Calf" has symbolized the worship of idoltry and of materialism, and has resulted in the execution of venality, and of iniquity.
Jewish social responsibility ignored
Pursuant to the Torah, every Jew is a guarantor for every other Jew. Judaism teaches you're either part of the problem or you're part of the solution. Being a bystander is not an option. Therefore, any Jew who turns a blind eye to the apparent unethical conduct of a self-professed "Jewish State" shares the responsibility in the "Crimes against Humanity" that are being mischievously perpetrated in the name of Judaism.
Is Israel in fact, a Jewish State in the spirit of the Torah?
If Israel was in fact a 'Jewish State', its leaders would unconditionally express lovingkindness, civility, empathy, and peace in a spirit of social justice. Israel would be a model Just Society, in the world where Jews, Palestinians, other Arabs, and other peoples would live side by side, with an equitable quality-of-life, and with a spirit of cross-cultural sharing and understanding. However, the actions of Israeli elites have once again shown in Lebanon that they do not value the lives of non-Israelis, who have no ill will toward them. The reckless bombing of Lebanese civilians for the kidnapping of two soldiers by the criminal actions of a group, shows the very apparent racist and fascistic Israeli mentality, which is at the heart of creating the conditions for crises in the Middle East. Indeed, the Palestinians and other Arabs in "Greater Israel" are treated even worse than had black Africans in apartheid South Africa. Palestinians and other Arabs are also viewed by the very elites who attack Lebanon, with apparently not much higher regard, than the blacks had been viewed in the former apartheid regime. Prevailing Israeli elites do not express the vital spirit of Judaism in their actions.
Actual Judaism challenges the mis-deeds of Israeli elites
This is the spirit of Judaism: A Rabbi and Imam shaking each other's hand in a spirit of mutuality, peace, and cross-cultural appreciation.
Judaism, reveres G-d as creating the Universe, the Heavens, the Earth and all its living creatures. When Israeli elites bomb and kill thousands of innocent civilians in Lebanon, they are defiling the spirit of G-d in everyone. When such activities are done in the name of defending a "Jewish State", these Israeli elites further compound the mischief in their German Nazi 'SS' type of barbarity.
Jews, including substantively Jews who are citizens of Israel, have a responsibility, in part to champion peace among all nations, rather than executing oppression and inflicting war among all the nations. This special duty is associated with Jews having pledged a Covenant with G-d concluded with the biblical patriarch Abraham, their ancestor, and again with the entire Jewish nation at Mount Sinai. Within this view, Jews are charged with embracing a standard of spiritually inspired social ethics to help usher a sought era of ever-lasting global peace.
This is NOT the spirit of Judaism, but rather, and Israeli State that turns it back to Jewish law and social ethics: Israeli army tank facing-off against Palestinian child, or woman of Arab background showing a photo of a member of the Israeli woman pointing a gun at a woman and her children.
The Guiding Principles of Reform Judaism, Columbus, Ohio, 1937, for example, specifically states "We regard it as our historic task to cooperate with all men in the establishment of the kingdom of God, of universal brotherhood, Justice, truth and peace on earth. This is our Messianic goal."
Contrary to the actions of Israeli elites in Lebanon, Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik writes "Even as the Jew is moved by his private Sinaitic Covenant with G-d to embody and preserve the teachings of the Torah, he [or she] is committed to the belief that all humankind, of whatever colour or creed, is "in His image" and is possessed of an inherent human dignity and worthiness. Rabbi Malkiel Kotler, dean of the Haredi Lakewood Yeshiva, in the commentary entitled 'The Real Truth About the Talmud' writes "Our philosophy asserts that every human being is created in the image of the Lord and the primacy of integrity and honesty in all dealings without exception. I strongly repudiate any assertions in the name of Judaism that do not represent and reflect this philosophy."
Rabbi David Weiss Outside the Israeli Consulate at Rally Co-sponsored by Islamic Center of Jersey City, and related groups in October 2000, stipulated that "The Jewish people are commanded by Almighty G-d to live in peace with all peoples and nations on the face of the globe." Rabbi Weiss affirmed that "Our national agenda [as Jews] is simple -- It is to humbly worship the Creator at all times," by in part, showing empathy, and respect for each other in a spirit of mutuality.
"As Torah Jews" Rabbi Weiss says "we are called upon to feel and express our sense of compassion when any person or group of human beings suffers. This includes the current suffering of the Lebanese, and the on-going sufferings of the Palestinians. In the words of King David, the Psalmist, "And His Mercy is upon all His creatures. All men are created in the image of G-d."
Rabbi Weiss further made representation that "When we look at the cauldron of suffering which the Middle East has become for the Palestinian people, we stand back aghast -- homes and lives lost, family suffering, the list goes on and on."
Why have the tragic events of last 52 years come to pass?
Rabbi David Weiss expresses the Jewish spirit, in solidarity with Muslims and other peoples.
Rabbi Weiss indicates that "The answer lies in one word - Zionism." Zionism is in fact, a form of neo-fascism. Having had many relatives who lost their lives in the Holocaust, the hypocritical Israeli elites now inflict their own brand of neo-fascism, in the form of militaristic and racist Zionism.
Rabbi Weiss indicates that "Zionism has misled some Jews into thinking that there exists a need to pursue aggressive policies against the Palestinian people (and other peoples in Middle East) to steal their land and persecute their people."
This is hardly surprising as it is a creed in direct opposition to the basics of Jewish faith, which pivots on the enlightened messages of the Torah.
Rabbi Weiss refers to Zionism as "an embarrassment to the Torah Jew.", and further stipulates that "Our prayers for the Messianic era are centered on the future -- a future when G-d alone, without any human involvement, will redeem all humankind, who will then worship Him together in peace.
The Torah's ways are peace. Indeed, furthermore, centuries ago, Micah the Prophet, offered a vision of peace. No longer ruled by war and violence, humans would live together, unharmed, and content. Lo yisa goi el goi cherev lo yilmedu od milchama.
Bombings not the actions of a "Jewish" State....
The bombing of Lebanon is therefore not the actions of a "Jewish" State. The bombing of Lebanon is also not even the actions of even a State concerned with protecting "the lives of soldiers", or even simply 'national boundaries'. The lives of all Israeli soldiers that are now significantly further threatened, could have been spared by a truly responsible Jewish response, to such kidnapping. Indeed, arguably, the kidnapping would have not have occurred in the first place, if the ways of peace expressed in the Torah had been embraced by an ethical Israeli State governance. The bombing of Lebanon also certainly did not make Israeli citizens feel more secure, as retaliatory military strikes are unleashed into Israel from southern Lebanon.
The mythology of the "fight against terrorism"
According to reports in the mass-media, that include the Zionist and neo-conservative CanWest Global, Israel had to act in the way that it has militarily perpetrated, in order to deal with "Hezbollah terrorists". However, it is self-evident that this is propaganda. Rather, the best and also ethical way to deal with such a criminal elements associated with Hezbollah (and other groups like Hamas), is to alleviate the atrocious oppressive socio-economic conditions perpetrated by Israeli elites, in the areas where Hezbollah gets its recruits. Such an alternative critical appreciation is inspired by the wisdom of the Jewish Torah.
However, the actions of the Israeli elites, (along with their U.S. neo-conservative backers), are not aimed at combating terrorism. On the contrary, it is apparent that these elites seek to substantively "fan the flames" of so-called "terrorism", so that these elites can have a contrived justification to inflict more oppression, and human suffering. It is apparent that these elites have sold out, and have exchanged the Torah and the Bible, for the quest of the pursuit of a plan of oppression, bullying, provocation, and "World Domination".
Architects of War seek a "New World Order"
When Newt Gingrich indicated in the U.S. media, that "we are already into World War III", he was simply expressing the apparent 'wishful thinking' of the hideous intelligence of neo-conservative elites. These elites talk of "anti-Terrorism", while engaging in conduct that provokes so-called "terrorism".
In the apparent mentality of elites, a World War III is not to be 'avoided', but to be carefully "planned", alongside Corporate "Globalization", so that the "right people" can rule the Earth, and control, as well as, use, its resources. In the apparent 'wishful thinking' for World War III, betrayed by Gingrich's comments, such a War would necessitate permanent "martial law", so that "liberal democracy" can be done away with, once and for all. This process has already been taking place in the United States, and other societies, under the elite contrived so-called "War on Terrorism". It is apparent that fascistic neo-conservatives that include 'anti-Jewish' Israeli elites, deplore the sharing of power with the "inferior races of the world" domestically, and through democratic inspired fora like the United Nations. In the view of neo-conservatives , World War III would usher into the world a "Golden Area" of jingoistic totalitarian rule under the direct of "rich" owners of capital, who would consolidate the so-called "New World Order".
In the process, the elites who prevail over an agenda of oppression via war and "Globalization" believe that the Lebanese and other Muslims, whether Hezbollah or not, are all guilty of being "inferior races". The senseless bombing of innocent civilians in Lebanon by Israeli elites, backed by U.S. neo-conservatives, can only be explained if, these elites do not value the lives of innocent human beings, who are culturally different peoples. This is the apparent psychopath-like fascist prism that now shapes the seekers of a "New World Order", in which Lebanon is another sought step to that sought goal.

Gutknecht gives grim assessment
By Mark Fischenich
The Free Press
— Congressman Gil Gutknecht found the situation in Iraq more bleak than he anticipated during a weekend visit to the war zone, and said a partial withdrawal of some American troops might be wise.
Gutknecht, a strong supporter of the war since it began in March of 2003, told reporters in a telephone conference call Tuesday that American forces appear to have no operational control of much of Baghdad.
“The condition there is worse than I expected,” he said. “... I have to be perfectly candid: Baghdad is a serious problem.”
The 1st District Republican said he was deeply impressed by the professionalism of American soldiers and gained hope from the more stabile situation in the Kurdish-dominated northern region of Iraq.
But he said the next six weeks could be critical in determining whether stability can eventually come to the rest of the country, and he believes removing some American troops is necessary to send the Iraqi government a message that it can’t rely so heavily on the American military much longer.
His assessment of the problems facing Iraq and the potential value of removing some American troops comes one month after Gutknecht was widely quoted during a debate in the House about the war.
“Members, now is not the time to go wobbly,” Gutknecht said on June 15. “Let’s give victory a chance.”
While Gutknecht is still not in favor of setting deadlines for the withdrawal of all American troops, he said the situation in Iraq’s largest city has clearly deteriorated.
“Baghdad is worse today than it was three years ago,” he said.
Ethnic violence between Sunni and Shiite factions in the country is escalating with gruesome attacks on civilians multiplying in recent months. An estimated 6,000 Iraqi civilians were killed in May and June — mostly by sectarian militants, according to a United Nations report. In the past two days alone, 120 died in attacks on civilian targets.
The nearly 300,000 Iraqi security forces that Bush administration officials say have been trained have shown little ability to halt the ethnic violence. A top American commander said recently that more American troops may need to be put on the streets to do the job.
Sending additional troops to Iraq would be “a terrible mistake,” Gutknecht said.
Gutknecht compared Iraq to a child learning to ride a bicycle and said America needs to be willing to let the country suffer some bruises as it attempts to take charge of its own affairs.
“I think it’s time to take off the training wheels of their bicycle,” he said.
Gutknecht was in Iraq from Saturday morning until late Sunday afternoon. His time in the country’s capital city was spent almost exclusively within the Green Zone, an area of central Baghdad that is heavily fortified and where all access is controlled by check-points.
“We learned it’s not safe to go anywhere outside of the Green Zone any part of the day,” he said.
The movements of Gutknecht and four other congressmen were carefully controlled by security forces worried about abduction attempts by insurgents, he said.
“They realize people like us are juicy targets.”
Gutknecht’s sobering report contrasts with many of his fellow conservative supporters of the war. The Republican National Committee sends out weekly e-mails to the media called “Iraq Facts” that paint a picture of steady progress toward stability and Iraqi self-governance. And conservative commentators have consistently said that the American people are being provided an overly dire picture of the Iraq war by the mainstream media.
“While a little bit of progress has been made, there’s an awful lot that needs to be done,” Gutknecht said.
Gutknecht was critical of some of the “spin” from Bush administration officials in the Pentagon and the State Department. He specifically pointed to past statements that a few hundred insurgents were causing the violence in the Iraq. Military officials say they’ve captured 10,000 even as the insurgency continues unabated.
“That’s a far cry from what we were told originally,” he said. “... All of the information we receive sometimes from the Pentagon and the State Department isn’t always true.”
The American troops, however, are performing heroically, he said.
“They’re doing a terrific job in enormously difficult circumstances.”
That doesn’t mean that more troops could win the war.
“What I think we need to do more is withdraw more Americans,” he said.
It’s up to Iraqis to fix Iraq, and they need to do it soon, according to Gutknecht.
“I think we’re at a very important tipping point, and the next six weeks is going to be critical,” he said, although he declined to elaborate on the dangers facing Iraq if the situation doesn’t improve by September. “... I don’t want to predict what will happen if things don’t get better.”
He did say that the patience of average Americans might begin to wear thin if improvements don’t come soon.
“Americans are going to start losing faith in this thing,” he said.
Walz says Iraq trip can lead to valuable debate on war
Congressional candidate Tim Walz welcomed his opponent’s new assessment of the situation in Iraq even while wondering why Rep. Gil Gutknecht didn’t reach the conclusion earlier.
“I’m glad now that he’s looking at the facts,” said Walz, DFL-Mankato. “Him being a cheerleader and ignoring reality hasn’t been helpful in trying to solve this situation.”
Walz retired as a command sergeant major after a 24 years in the Army National Guard, and he’s been critical of the way the Bush administration has prosecuted the war in Iraq.
Walz clearly expected Gutknecht to issue a more upbeat report following his weekend trip to the war zone. The Walz campaign sent out a news release early Tuesday asking his opponent to recognize that “Iraq is in turmoil and that the administration my opponent so willingly supports has failed to provide my brothers in arms with a plan.”
Later Tuesday, after Gutknecht said progress in much of Iraq has been limited and that he believes some American troops should be brought home, Walz said his opponent’s comments could be the start of a valuable discussion about finding a solution to the Iraq situation.
“This is an issue a lot bigger than myself and this campaign and this is a step in the right direction,” Walz said. “We welcome that this discussion is going to be had. I’ve been talking about it a long time.”
One point of disagreement appears to be Gutknecht’s willingness to withdraw American troops soon. Walz said it would be irresponsible to draw down troop levels if the primary motivation is improving the re-election chances of incumbents facing voters in November.
“If we draw them down before we’re prepared to protect the rest of our troops there, that’s incredibly dangerous,” Walz said.

extel, your fellow kool-aid drinkers are beginning to have the scales and illusions fall from their eyes. Check out below article
this foolish, fraudulent and unnecessary war perpetrated by admin hoaxes and lies was doomed from the start. but you rah-rah fools and hoodwinked spineless cowards who were so afraid the Saddam boogie man was gonna get ya, bought it hook line and sinker. your ilk and the spineless witless u.s. Congress are responsible for the attack on the U.S. Constitution, have condemned 3,000 or so US troops to their deaths, are responsible for the loss of hundreds of billions of dollars from the treasury and their partial theft by Halliburton, not to mention tens of thousand Iraqi's killed and many thousands more US soldiers and Iraqi wounded and the diminishment of u.s. prestige throughout the world.

dey got your number. they're comin' for you.
sorry, you messed yourself so much that that last post of yours was not terribly coherent. i feel your fear, but i don't share it.
thank goodness that most americans aren't cowards like you, trembling in the dark and wetting yourself.
yeah, go Bush, he's really done such a great job defending this country. lost the WTC's, first attack on the Pentagon, lost New Orleans, shredded the Constitution and Bill of Rights, hoaxed the american public on WMD's, blow hundreds of billions of dollars on a phony war IN iRAQ that he's LOSING. couldn't even manage to get get a BB gun to shoot at flight 77 as it passed over the white house before hitting the Pentagon.
boo.
hap, dey's gonna GET YA, and your little dog Toto, too.
Saddam and bin-laden were bought and paid for and put into business by the guys you think are gonna protect you, your grandkids and Toto.
you bought the fear. you're the sucker who bought the BS.
gee, if you were really concerned about that bin-laddie boogie man, then maybe you might think about asking bushie why he seems to have forgotten him?
Guess who put bin-Laden in business? it was the CIA. do you know that al-Qaeda was the name the CIA gave them? it means the 'base', or more properly, the 'data base' of CIA operatives in Afghanistan.
and, guess who gave Saddam his chemical weapons that he used against the Kurds and Iranians? It was Reagan and Rumsfeld.
BTW, I wouldn't put too much confidence in an admin that couldn't get so much as two cub scouts with a sling shot to defend the Pentagon on 911.
here, quick, here's the link that will save you: http://www.doofus.com
you need it bad.
booga booga.
susie, thanks. i think the evolution of opinion you described is very similar to what a large percentage of the american population has experienced since 2004.
damn, if we haven't got another phony war or two to stop, again. hope the country is up to it.
best, 'zam7
hap, looks like they've got you peein' in your pants. booga, booga, da' lem/dib/deftie islamonebbishes is gonna get ya.

boo.
susie, doesn't bother me in the least. this man's true nature was evident to me before he didn't get elected the first time around. it's taken more than 5 years, but it's since become evident to about 60 - 65% of the public. too late, though.
I'm curious when/how your thoughts and opinions on this subject developed.
best, 'zam7
F6, well, I am impressed. Having lived in the midwest and seen a smaller one once, I wouldn't want to get close to one that size.
You've got some cojones... I'm in awe.
best.
tlc, thanks. new info to me.
best.
tlc, Halliburton is no angel. It's Cheney's baby. To be sure they've probably stolen far more from both Iraq and the US treasury than we'll ever know. remember, they have ready access to the Iraqi oil at the source, and also distribute what comes into the country. so that gives them an almost unlimited opportunity to steal by siphoning off whatever they can.
I've not heard how they are in bed with Iran. could you explain?
thanks and best.
nahh, i just think our Preznint shouldn't behave like a drunken drugged frat boy pledge at a kegger.
he's clearly going through a manic stage.
interesting that you should equate being anti-bush with being anti-american. that's the position of a mindless simpleton or a political hack.
being anti-bush is probably the most pro-american position a true american patriot can have at this time.
remember, Bush was sworn to preserve and protect the Constitution, because without that, there really is no america. yet he thinks its just an old rag and that its provisions are optional, as he does prohibitions against torture, and the principal established at the Nuremburg trials against waging war on a state that poses no threat.
oh, and let's not forget the phony lying hoaxes he perpetrated on the american public to goad them and the spinless congress into a phony, unecessary, optional and foolish war. he should hang for that one.
yeah, they all want some of the drugs he's taking. he's clearly taking too much medication that induces euphoric/manic behavior.
more like butt of all the jokes trying to get nominated as class clown (which he wins, hands down).
sin, while you're at it, check out the link in this post also:

US Preznint on his best behavior with the German Prime Minister Merkle.
holy shiites batman!
IxCimi, I think he's clearly in some sort of manic phase, possibly drug induced. his behavior at G8 looks something like meth and/or cocaine elation. seriously.
He is way pumped up on something and I doubt its booze, or at least not just booze. It'll be interesting to see if coverage in the next few days or week or so shows him crashing, as this could be expected if he's indeed been artificially enhanced.
F6, I can do you one better on that. Check this out (posted earlier on Zeev Politics board):
Holy crap, you've got to see this latest Bushie video from G8.
More G8 frat boy tricks by Bush not yet publicized by the US media.
Bush gives German Chancellor Merkle a quickie massage. She reacts violently. The link is in German, but just click on the play button in the right hand box that is titled 'video'.
This takes the cake.
http://www.bild.t-online.de/BTO/news/aktuell/2006/07/18/merkel-bush-liebes-attacke/merkel-bush-liebe....
do ya think he was really trying to choke her? or has he gone manic and needs a serious adjustment in his meds? what kinda drugs is he taking? is he back on the bolivian marching powder?
BTW, F6, thanks for the welcome. You a meteorologist? Just curious.

He's 'sweet'. Right 'honey'.
Doesn't seem like too much of a stretch....
And then there's that Jeff Gannon thing.
Gay, male hooker, boy toy gets exclusive access to WH as, get this, A JOURNALIST. Gets called on for softball questions. Checks in but doesn't check out til next day - once when Blair was a guest.
Gee, that's not the least bit suspicious is it? Well, maybe not in San Francisco, or in your favorite gay biker bar. But in most places, that would raise a few questions.
Not that there's anything wrong with that - unless it sets one up for blackmail by several of the world's intelligence services and the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and you happen to be the Preznint of the U.S.
Actually, given the earlier post today about Bush/Blair's bisexuality in light of their little lover-boy banter caught by the open mic at the g8 conference, it seems kinda relevant.
Then, there's boy-toy Jeff Gannon, too.
Chappaquidick happened in the early 60's, no?
And just putting it in the coldest terms, what's Bush's death card score - just counting dead 'mericans, its 3,000 on 9/11, and another 3,000 or so in the war he hoaxed the country into in Iraq.
So, just counting dead Americans, its something like 6,000 to 1, GWBush over T. Kennedy. But who's keepin' score? Not you.
I remember this headline when it first came out.
http://www.cloakanddagger.de/media/HEADLINES%20PAGE/WASHINGTON%20TIMES.htm
And this was/is a Republican-friendly paper!
GIANT CLUE.
Earnie, I spent about a month in Israel in 1985 (If I recall properly, this was during the time or soon after Israel was sending its jets to bomb Arafat's HQ in Morocco after the PLO leadership had been evacuated from Lebanon after Israel's first invasion of that country).
Though my primary interest was history and archaeology, I of course met and spoke with Israelis of all ages and sects throughout much of the country, as well as many Israeli and Palestinian Arabs, both Christian and Muslim. It was a fascinating experience. Though I can't say it was restful, this was before the first intifada and things were relatively calm there, at least domestically.
The author of the article you posted observes "an “Israeli madness” and “insane brutality,” a “putrefaction” of civilized society, that have set Israel on a suicidal course."
I can tell you that I observed this first hand back in the mid-1980's, though it was not nearly as prevalent as it has become now. Most of the Israelis I met who did express the expulsionist, divine right, and exterminationist viewpoints towards Palestinians were of American origin, though this opinion was also popular among many Sephardis too. Though not exclusive to them, the Kahanist influence was clearly infecting and spreading through Israeli society and politics.
Rabin represented the best opportunity - from the Israeli side - for achieving a lasting accommodation (peace there will probably always be elusive) between the two peoples. And he was shot down and killed not by an Arab, but by a Jewish ultra-nationalist/extremist.
Interestingly, the others who were as happy with his assassination as the Jewish extremists were the leaders and of Hizbollah and Hamas. The extremists and zealots need each other and absolutely depend on the polarization and/or demoralization of a large plurality or majority of their respective populations to obtain and maintain power.
Earnie, excellent article, thanks for posting.
It's very important to remember that it was Israel's foolish invasion of Lebanon - under its Likudnik/fascist Begin government and General Sharon - in the 80's (greenlighted by Reagan and many of the Neo-con PNAC'ers in the Bush Admin) that gave birth to Hizbollah.
Now, there are suggestions for putting foreign troops along the border. WIf so, we can only hope they aren't US troops, as the last time the US - under Reagan - tried putting troops in Lebanon (marines at the airport), about 250 of them came home in wooden boxes after having their barracks blown up by the then nascent Hizbollah.
Oh, but that prospect doesn't seem to stop Bush from putting troops in a situation where they are little more than sitting ducks and baby-sitters among well-armed factions.
Actually, the Deceiver has shown himself to be fully capable of undermining American and his own credibility time and again, unassisted by others.
He clearly needs no help from anyone to make himself the fool, time and again - as happened again today. Can;t wait to get me some of that pig, whooeee.
