"Dilution is inevitable."
REVENUE is INEVITABLE...
"IT IS A THEORETICAL OPINION"
LMAO!
"The very statement is THEORETICAL in its premise "
LMAO...when spoken by an expert such as Dr Kumar, as to the results of a trial run, that IS NOT THEORETICAL...that is his expert opinion based on the FACTS and 40 years of experience...
"“I am proud of the work accomplished and very impressed by the performance of the BAM-1 silkworm lines,” Dr. Nirmal Kumar, stated. “The luster of the BAM-1 silk is very unique and desirable. When paired with its strength, we have created a silk that can’t be matched. The results of these trials exceeded our expectations. We are now on a solid foundation to scale production of the BAM-1 hybrid to metric ton levels.”
keep trying...but the more you try, the dumber you sound...
Carl Sagan was speaking of "authorities" who speak upon theoretical issues...
Dr Kumar's work is not theoretical, it is practical...he has worked for over 40 years in the sericulture field and has distinguished himself among his peers...he is widely recognized as an expert in his field and has CLEARLY helped kblb improve its sericulture and production processes which are evident in the results that can be seen...
Dr Kumar has not guaranteed anything....but he HAS stated that the worms are large and robust and so far, disease free...the cocoons are also some of the largest he has seen and the fiber has a unique luster...he declared that kblb was ready for mass production...
i know you hated to see that from such a renowned person but trying to minimize it with quotes from famous people taken out of context is utterly stupid...
"KBLB NEEDS to include the likes of SPIBER, as a means of ATTEMPTING to remain relevant"
what an idiotic premise...smh
"But note this "dilution" is 0.4%."
yup...so just tack that onto the 23% dilution that shareholders have experienced the last 6 months...
and then wait for the next dump...
i agree...i laugh at hedgehog as well...
BAH!...you are FOS!...
spiber is not a competitor...kblb has ZERO competition...
"If at market, there is NO DILUTION because the cash paid for the shares goes onto the balance sheet."
thats kind of the same reasoning with reverse splits...r/s dont change shareholder value...you have the same amount of money after the r/s as you did before...
but the problem is, the pps will almost always drop after the r/s...it starts dropping the moment the r/s is announced...thus even though mathematically, the r/s has no effect on shareholder value, the reality is that it does...
its the same with dilution...in Nov, plug had 605.5 mil shares outstanding....in May, they had 742.5 mil o/s....thats a whole lot of shares added in a short period of time...i would imagine most of that was shares sold by the company for cash...had to be at least several hundred million bucks into fcel's pocket...
and now they want to dilute 3.5 mil shares cause they need $11 mil more?...what?...whats wrong with this picture?...
theres what math tells you and then theres what reality tells you...
“If all retail investors arranged so their shares were not available for lending,”
There’s no such thing….the internet is full of silly schemes that people think prevent brokerages from borrowing their shares….but it’s all nonsense…
On March 15, 172 mil shares was 28% of the float…
On May 15, 192 mil shares was 28% of the float….
Yikes….
LMAO!...the stock has gone from $29 to 64 cents...and you are crowing that it has not YET hit 50 cents???...
SMGDH...
shouldnt your alias now be "RETIRED FBI AGENT"?
"One thing I am sure of is that if we sold shares this quarter we are plenty liquid."
yes, the company has money...shareholders dont, but the company wont go broke...they diluted shareholder value to make sure of that....wouldnt it be nice if Few could figure out how to turn a profit with the company instead of begging for money from Exxon and the fed gov?...or borrowing money creating a debt burden...or stealing from shareholders?...
what if the earnings report isnt as rosy as you hope?...what if its actually kinda bad?...what if the economy takes a downturn?...what if hydrogen isnt the big thing some think it is?...what if nothing is going to happen with hydrogen for years?...you KNOW the next step for this 85 cent company is a reverse split...
"I also see the relentless shorting as a psychological and external threat from company(ies) bigger than us who would benefit themselves with our technology."
fcel cant seem to benefit themselves with their technology...why would any else be eager about it?...large companies wont pay a million for a tech that hasnt proved itself...but they will pay a billion for one that has...
" the way to fight the short strangle hold is to buy whatever you can afford and hold for as long as you can."
that does absolutely nothing to shorts...and there is nothing shareholders can do to prevent shorts from borrowing shares...
" If you have ever been short squeezed you know it is a serious threat to the shorter, particularly at these low levels of stock price with a company that is liquid."
fcel has been shorted for a very long time...most of the shorts have made a ton of money shorting fcel...if fcel manages to turn itself around, shorts will simply cash in their huge profits and then go long...i know unsophisticated investors love to talk about shorts "burning" and other such nonsense...but the fact is, shorts at some point may cover and reap great profits...and then will profit again as they go long the company...
"Psychologically the game is to get you to believe you will lose your money if you hold."
shorters short the company, not shareholders...they couldnt care less what shareholders do...they welcome anyone who wants to lose money to simply hold tight to their shares and ride the drop all the way down....its the company failing to perform that drops the pps...of course knowledgeable investors will always book their profits when the tide starts to turn...they know they can always buy back later after the price bottoms out...hell, brokerages dont even charge a commission on buys and sells anymore!...
"Then you sell and give more shares back for the shorters to use."
thats not even how it works...
"Keep the faith."
this has no place in investing...
Like I said in a previous post…hes negativity all day long while throwing in a “gosh I hope I’m wrong!” at the end of the day…
Smh
the "evidence" is the available body of facts and information that is known via the pr's and this board...and theres plenty of it...i honestly dont understand how anyone can be long this company, know what info is available, and still be so negative, as if its all meaningless...smh
i think this is the third damn time they have put out this same exact pr...its a pilot project first of all...secondly its not gonna happen for 2 years...or longer...and thirdly, its dependent upon the Porthos project itself being finished on time...(like Rotterdam, the completion date is sometime in 2026) a project whose price has since tripled from orginal projections...a lot can change in 2 years...
but since this is being dragged out again as if it is "news", XOM must need to sell shares or needed it for a particular reason...i dont see how fcel will let the opportunity to dump shares go by...
BE up 13%...i hadnt checked but assumed they had news?...
FCEL up 14.5% on huge volume....no news there...
i just asumed that fcel was piggy backing BE news...lol
i waited until fcel broke the .82 mark before i bought....i sold a short time later at .093...very easy, very safe, trades...i was hoping for an opportunity to jump in again if fcel were to experience a nice drop...but didnt really happen...oh well...
"So, when I said on the 19th or 20th of December that KBLB’s shares had reached an inflection point and I expected them to trend upwards from that point on"
you mean AFTER the Dec 14th pr that showed kim holding 25 kilos and saying they had produced the biggest cocoons ever while confirming their production process worked perfectly?...then the pr on Dec 19, that announced the successful production test utilizing the 2 strain hybrid?...
and after shareholders had already celebrated the rise in the volume and pps, you decided maybe the pps will rise after all?...grudgingly jumping on board after the ship has sailed doesnt count as a prediction...
"More recently, when I said there was reason for optimism and that investors with a stomach for risk could consider buying, you must have again sold."
i have no idea if you even ever said such a thing...you basically never take any stand on anything...you take no position at all...you say things like "gee, if you think its going to rain, bring an umbrella"...if it rains, you claim to have been right...if it doesnt, you claim to have never said it would....but boy you are right there making sure what others have said stays in the spotlight...lmao...
" I’m saying they haven’t succeeded yet"
kblb hasnt succeeded yet?...no shit sherlock...got any other gems mr obvious?...just what we need...people to tell us what we already know...way to put yourself out there...thats must be what taking a stand is to a perpetual fence sitter...
"I’ve expressed several times that Thompson is behaving more like a CEO who believes success is at hand and is doing so with the input of experts and with an understanding of his past failures."
and you have expressed the opposite many more times...of course, also claiming that you hope you are wrong...smh
"For that reason........................................I’m cautiously optimistic."
no...its really more like crying like a baby and clutching your pearls...thats all i see from your posts...
you are a great contrarian indicator....i just look at whatever decision you come up with, after all the hand wringing and pearl clutching you do, and then i go with the opposite of that, and im never wrong!..
“Seems like they are trying to find ways to produce their silk.”
They had a test run in Dec with DS that was a success…they decide to have a trial run with BAM1 and monitor it closely to find the areas that key to having successful production…they determined that there were 5 key points that were critical to the successful trial run…the areas that they will now monitor closely so that they can maintain quality consistent production…and yes, maybe in the future, even improve…
What the hell did you think the spring trials were for??…what do you think Dr Kumar is there for??…
They are NOT trying to see if they CAN produce, they already know they can…they want to optimize the process…
Dr Kumar has Kblb on a nice steady pace to mass production…he’s not letting them get way out in front of themselves like they usually do…
He’s moving slower than I thought he would…but oh well…I can’t complain when things are going so well…
But you go ahead with your negative lean on everything while hoping you are wrong…smh…
I already know you are wrong…lol
"They are trying to find a way to produce it."
no...they are not....
"Well at some point it has to bottom"
been hearing that since $25 per share...i dont think saying that has any real value...
"it's not going bankrupt"
so long as the company has 500 mil shares they can dump and gullible shareholders they can dump on, no, they wont go bankrupt...some shareholders might...but the company wont...
"it's not doing a reverse split."
the company has done several r/s in its history...and many said they wouldnt r/s right before they did r/s...the stock has been below a buck for over a month now...Few wants the pps to be at least $5...he doesnt want to have to screw around with delisting...it doesnt really matter if the stock goes below $1 or goes a little above it...Few will r/s just to get it well away from that level...i suspect he would dump the whole 500 mil shares into the market, take what he can get from it, then r/s to make it all good again....good for the company anyway...it will screw investors though...but like i said, its what they do and have done...
"As identified by long-term followers and investors as well as many new faces or names just now jumping in. "
smh...you think a few new investors will bail you out?....lol
"As stated before closing over 85 cents would be a good thing, closing over 95 cents would be a great thing."
you have been doing this for years, starting around $15...now its 85 cents...lol
"I'll take green 2 days in a row, then a close over 95 cents to put a stamp on it."
yea...that'll put a "stamp on it" alright, lol...whatever that means...kinda like "pounding the table"...how about just go pound sand...
who are you?...the town cryer?...lol
just sit on that fence and post your usual ton of doubts and negativity...while hoping (of course) that you are wrong...
SMGDH
"There are, however, many here who offer guarantees: “Air Force funding is a slam dunk."
i dont think MANY have,,,but i sure did...because AF funding IS a gdamn slam dunk!...
"“$1/share price by June.”
by the END of June...thats what i said...
"Getting nervous about those guarantees?"
i didnt guarantee a buck by the end of June...that was my best guess though...
"Getting nervous about those guarantees?"
not at all nervous about the AF slam dunk...im not much for fence sitting and waiting to see on which side the grass will look greener in a month...thats more your thing...that and being real sure to hold those who have the balls to put themselves on the record while fearing to do so yourself...lol
"Why ask another poster, when you can address the direct source?"
probably because they want to discuss the potential reasons without being interrupted by stupid memes, graphics and parables that dont mean anything...
"THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES ALL GOES WELL"
there is no one here looking for GUARANTEES...SMH
"NOT EVEN THEIR SERICULTURE EXPERTS CAN PREDICT WITH 100% CERTAINTY."
there is no one looking for 100% certainty....gdamn
"ALL THE PROMOTIONAL PIECES IN THE WORLD, CAN'T SPEAK TO AN ABSOLUTE EITHER."
now its absolutes...lmao...you are an idiot...
"THERE...FEEL BETTER NOW?"
not until you address the issue that was brought up and stop beating around the bush....
"if this show does have a chance at being a profitable player in the selected industry, it's going with a blend; limited edition, first"
yes, no, maybe...who cares?...i just want them to be successful...im not all hung up on the minor details...
that Polartec pr came out before the company was bought out by some privately held 100 yr old company run by old, staid, bible thumpers...
not sure Polartec was a good fit after that...
"And judging by the 21% short value it seems many are not appreciating that share price in the secondary market is not always an indicator of the underlying performance of the company."
been hearing that since 20 bucks a share...after so many years and a pps now of 82 cents, maybe its time to realize that the underlying performance of the stock sucks...THATS why the pps is 82 cents!...
maybe things could get better...maybe Few will suddenly become competent...but until there is evidence suggesting that there is a reversal occurring, there is no reason to go long on this company....it is to be traded only...
"Work in progress, cash on hand, patent value, plant, equipment etc do not change value with the stock price."
if you dont make enough money to cover your expenses, that means you are losing money...fcel has been losing money for a very long time...if you have had enough time and cant get your company to profitability, thats a huge red flag...
"Work in progress"
apparently there isnt enough work in progress...
"cash on hand"
borrowed money or money created from dilution is not impressive...cash on hand from profits is what investors want to see...money as a result of beg, borrowing or stealing from investors is not....
"patent value"
fcel shares all patents with Exxon...thus, they are not worth as much as you think...
"plant, equipment"
plant, equipment, coffee pots and the ceo's shoes are good when liquidating...otherwise, they are just what you need to stay in business...
"I am not saying stock price is something you don't have to reckon with but with regard to FCEL it is presently out of perspective."
the stock price is what it is...82 cents for a share of fcel is what the price is...saying it isnt fair or it should be higher is meaningless...
"A scare tactic."
admitting you are frightened at the sight of the pps is healthy...because you should be...
" look at the progress made in the last 3-4 yrs."
that "progress" has taken the pps from the $20's to 82 cents...is that supposed to impress?...
"One domino is all it takes!"
and when you make a house of cards, all it takes is one card to bring it all down...
“ But is KBLB creating something that nearly every company is going to want and use in everything on the planet or....”
Yes…there will be more than enough companies wanting more than Kblb will be able to produce for years….
“ KBLB needs to get the word out so investors know about it? ”
That is also a yes….
“ Don't get me wrong, if this pump piece drove the share price up to the 20's or 30's before solid production or big names were dropped I would say money well spent.”
Things need to build up…word needs to get around…the pr was never going to raise the pps to .30….but it will get more investors knowing who Kblb is and some of them will buy…
The dodgers didn’t expect to get their $700 mil back the day after signing Ohtani…nor did they expect him to hit a grand slam at every bat…
But if they market him and use him as they should, they have a reasonable expectation of making far more money off him than he will make off them….in the long run…
“ But what came of it?”
Not much….yet…more to come…I hope…it’s a big investing world out there….
"Specifically how do the Renewable Energy Certificates fit in?"
i would suggest bending over, breath out and just shove real hard...
"There is a difference between selling an actual product and selling potential."
yup...and the difference is 6 weeks and having 10k eyes on the stock or a million when it hits...
i hate to say it, but, i think i would get ahold of several influencers from TikTok and give them some product and let them tell their kazillion followers all about it...
might wait for a Spydasilk launch first tho...
"I dont like the fact that Kim thinks he needs to promote the company that way."
the more eyes, the better...making a ton of silk will bring more investors...but more investors means the higher the pps will rise...so we want as many eyes on kblb as we can get...we have to get the word out...pr's alone wont do it...
nowadays, most companies use media consultants who understand social media...its a powerful tool...but we are too small and its too expensive to go out get one...24/7 market news is a cheaper method of reaching out...ive seen some fairly reputable companies using entities like 24/7...
a paid promo just smacks of BS....but if it works, then it works...
“What exactly was the damage?…”
Ummmm…yea…I read the pr… and I repeat , What exactly was the damage?…
So, confirming that the article was accurate and the rules were followed and doubling down on the enthusiasm for mass production is damage control??…
Alrighty den…thanks for making that happen…hope you don’t get fired…
“I'm hoping there's a big light bulb that goes on for the analysts after Q2 earnings are released and they conclude the call.”
My guess is that you will just have to go on blaming everything on shorts and manipulation…lol
Wow…you have a lot to learn…I recommend starting with “investing for dummies”…
“It seems that the investigation into KBLB is continuing and they are stepping up their efforts.”
Looks to me like Kim used a tissue and some spit to wipe your tear stains and took the opportunity to double down on his enthusiasm on where he sees the company going…
