Well, another semester back here at school and another fun time watching these stocks. Good luck to everyone. Maybe we'll see some positives this quarter. If not, hey, there's always next year. How are the "'Ol-Timers" doing on here...Simple, Xan, Mar-key? What's new with everyone?
Stockster, where am I being negative in my posts?
Negative? I am not being negative at all? I am joking around and having fun. I wish people would stop trying to play "MOM and Dad" to me by sending me PM telling me I need to get thicker skin and I won't last as a penny trader. Please, I am not bashing GZFX. I am just having fun with everyone else. Don't you notice the LOL's on the ends of my sentences? That usually means the writer is laughing and having fun. Please, stop worrying or commenting about whether I will make it or not. Although I appreciate your concern, I will be perfectly fine in the world. I promise.
I remember joining GZFX in early 2005 (as a paying member) and how horrible their website was. It had a bunch of bugs in it and was layed out really bad. What attracted me to the company, since I am a person who does a lot of comparible shopping before buying, was their prices were extremely lower than everyone else's. I thought it was a great company then and I still do. I just wish they would advertise more. I see Gamefly commercials at least every other day now.
Sentinel, how long have you been patient with this company?
No, I did. I was kidding.
Should I contact Chip or JF and threaten them into bankruptcy by me cancelling my membership if they don't start help raising the value of our stock...LOL!!!!
I thought for for sure it was at least 100K. Anything under 10,000 subs means they can't even pay the light bill.
That means a 1/4 of their subs are on this board...lol!
We only have 6000 subs? What!?! How do they even pay the bills. Oh I forgot....by issuing a trillion shares.
I know fellow college students all over the country and they have never heard of GZFZ (until I told them about it). Netflix only does movies. Gamefly does games, but is way too expensive and is not a publicly traded company (I don't think). Blockbuster is almost out of business and is grabage anyway. Who is our competition? I don't understand. There is plenty of room for two or three giants in each industry (i.e. Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper). Who is our real threat?
Absolutely. We call this ride "The Devil's Waterslide". Why you ask? Because this ride only goes down....LOL!!!
"ALL ABOARD!" Step right up folks and get ready for the ride of your lives. Oh and remember, for safety reasons, you must be ---This High---- to ride this ride...and no, I am not talking about heighth. You really need to be high for this GZFX ride.
I do argee with the post about people renting movies from NEtflix and never watching them, but haven't we all done this when renting from a brick and mortar store? I used to go to Blockbuster on Friday nights after school and rent movies and only to return them on Sunday, unwatched. That's common with as busy/stressed-out/drunk as we all are these days.
Thanks, Cash. I keep trying to get all of my family to sign up. I'm pushing 'em.
From what I have read, the only reason the stock value is so low, even for a company with national retail advertising like GZFX, is because of all of the shares out there. Am I correct or is this wrong?
Mar-Key, I have always enjoyed your posts. What do you think would happen to stock value if the company was bought? I am sort of new at all this and still learning.
(mis-type..sorry)
I know this is off the subject of dismal times for GZFX, but with my brokerage account, the commission is $6.95 per transaction, but, that is also only up to 5000 shares. Anything over 5000 shares and the commission rapes me. Also, why do you have to have a $25,000 equity line to day trade? Since I haven't sold anything yet, I am making sure they don't label me a "day-trader" (since I don't buy and sell in a week). I would lose my account then. Is this unique to my brokerage account, or are most like this? All of these stupid rules...
Sentinel, Yeah I am not upset. I went into this expecting to lose. Plus, I also mentioned I was going to be a long-term investor and that is why I don't watch the positions everyday. I am really just having fun learning and watching. Although, I don't know what it feels like to have gotten in at above ten cents like others on here. I'm sure that breeds a lot of negativity about the company (which I can't blame anyone).
Wick, I believe you all told me it was going to be a roller-coaster ride. I just assumed this ride would actually go upwards at times. A roller-coaster is no fun when all it does is dip...LOL! All this has become is a water-slide (HAHA)
Sentinel, Wick, Simple and some of you others told me I would be going on a ride. Is this what you all had in mind (haha)! I am starting to get motion sickness.
Because of school/finals, I don't look at my portfolio everyday. I come back and look at my positions for the first time in a week, and....All I have to ask is, "What are you people doing to my stock?"....lol! This is why I refuse to watch it everyday. If I did, I would beccome an alcoholic like everyone on this board....lol!
Good morning/afternoon to everyone. I have been away for awhile. I have been in the middle of finals, so my time is eaten up trying to finish this semester. How is everything going with everyone? I haven't checked my portfolio is a couple of days. I am kind of glad I don't watch it everyday. I would stress out way too much if I steadily monitored my stocks. Since I am in it for the long-haul, I see no need to watch it everyday (that's just for my style). I hope everyone is making money.
Howdy, Simple! I miss home (Houston). I will be going back after this summer semester. I am ready to get out of the northeast for a while and back to some good 'ol Tex-Mex and BBQ.
I apologize to the board. I didn't mean for it to stretch out like this.
Investwize and Goldleader...where did you get in with GZFX? Something must have drawn negative conclusions about the company with you? Did you get in when they were up around .15+? Also, are you a short-term trader or a long-term investor?
Thanks. I had no idea. That's not very good to hear. I invest not only based on a company's potential, I also invest based on the management of a company. Aside from his attitude, how is he as far as an executive is concerned? Is he a business-minded person or is he going at all this blindly? Somebody please fill me in on this guy at GZFX.
I've heard comments on the other GZFX board about folks lieing and being deceiving. Why are they doing this? Here , we are supposed to be adults and share information, and yet sonme chose to act like 8th grades. For people to act like that, it shows that they must not be too sophistictaed.
investwise, why do you get that perception about the GZFX CEO? Since you have done this a lot longer than myself, what/when did he give you this perception about him? Is he they type of owner who is never honest with its sharholders?
I will defitly keep everyone on here posted. All of my fello college studnts love their game stations, but don't have enough time trying to find a stoor. The mail is by far the easiest. I Have several business models on how to inrprove GZFX and attract a tons more subs. I wouldn't go in there acting asif I knew everthing, I would want the meeting to be positive and fun.
Right. That why I plan on sitting down with the CEOS before I come up with designes. I want to know what their expectations are for this company, and I DO NOT want to read it out of a press release or PR shot. Beig a share holder, I am entitied to sit and speak with him, and so that's exaclty what I am going to do. Since I am in one of the most prestigious business schools in the world, I will also being doing his interview for our WHarton Journal. Every CEO dies to get on there.
Thanks Earthrhino!
Great stuff, Earthrhino!
EarthrRnio, thanks for the informtion. I had no idea it could gett a little messy. Maybe if I could just propose to get the college campuses back going, like they used to. They wouldn't have to pay me. I do know someome up in GAZFX executives who went to Penn or Yale, so he's a fellow Ivy Leaguer like me. Maybe that will somewhat help. I just knwo I don' tlike to wait around on other in this world to make things happen. I try and not allow other people to dictate my life's direction. I guess that's my Type-A perosonaility
Could someone still give me THE CEO's contact information? Thanks.
Well, maybe I will still make a call to the CEO about using license material. Oh trust me, I won't go in to see him without having a ton of notes and presentations to go with. That's one of my strongpoints.
Good luck to you. I have no plan of ever getting out. I feel it's going to come around. And if not, I will treck one of my Ivy League/Wharton Economics professors down to the HQ and have a chat with the CEO.
So, basically in order for us to hit the moon with it, They need start getting subs. The onky way thast is going to happen is word-of-mouth and advertising
Thanks, Investwise. So this is a good time to buy some more, huh?
