RMDT touched .085 hod from .037 on the 16th, link back for chart
Maybe so..but nonetheless provides penetration to sell product whilst undertaking the registration process to sell for on road.
Damn straight it is a good thing.
as for "the channel is that much more difficult/ complicated/ costly."
I vehomently disagree, as off road users include a massive portion of bulk end users who consume vast quantities of fuel.
Such as railroads, boats, ships etc.....product specifics for those users vary greatly and let's face it if the goal is to sell 1-3 hundred barrels/day....that is a tiny portion of the possible supply vs demand.
but the real issue here is that the idea floated was that without registration NO SALES were to happen...we now know this to be less than genuine.

RE: Fuel registration requirements for offroad fuel manufacturers.
It appears the information regarding mandatory registration of all fuels may not be correct.
why?
1-EPA just told me over the phone that fuel that is manufactured to be sold for off road use has NO DESIGNATION under the registration program!
2-"At the present time, only gasoline and diesel F/FAs produced and commercially
distributed for use in highway motor vehicles are designated for the registration and testing
program. Both domestic and foreign products are included in the designation. Fuels intended
for use exclusively in off-road vehicles are not currently designated. EPA is developing a
separate rulemaking to designate alternative fuels and fuel additives for registration in the
future."

Perhaps I am mistaken...if so...please, if you will, answer this.
When did you, and to whom did you speak with, at the EPA, REGARDING this assumption?

The last half of aug 2010 ftd data is STILL not on the sec website.
Usually around the 15th of the following month it arrives.
Just checked again and all it says is....
"Report for the first half of August 2010"
what could possibly be holding this data up so long?
Frankly I think this is nuts....all of this data should be eod or real time...the very idea that the daily short reports dont show up until eod is also lacklustre.
The trades go off in realtime.....there should be zero delays in the reports. Something awefully strange how the tapes are realtime but anything and everything to do with shorts seems to get "delayed".
Needs to be revamped with more current reporting. Funny how that seems to be something nobody talks much about these days.
Early 2011?
if if if?
RACE OVER
Jbii acquired the blending facility from "family" ...who historically were in the "fuel" business in a fair to middlin, to potentially a moderate way.
Why on earth anyone would be wondering how it is JBII will be having trouble making connections in the "fuel" business is kind of "beyond" me.
Repeat that first sentence. lol

Altima to Drill at Chambers Area, Alberta
Altima Resources Ltd. (TSX:ARH)
Historical Stock Chart
2 Months : July 2010 to September 2010
Altima Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: ARH)(FRANKFURT: AKC) is pleased to provide the following update on its Chambers, Alberta Property.
Altima has entered into a Farm-out and Participation Agreement whereby the farmee has agreed to drill a 3,100 meter Rock Creek test well on Altima lands on a pay 100% of the costs through completion to earn 60% in the well and farm-out lands. The farm-out well will test the multiple, liquids-rich, natural gas zones generally present in the area. The location in township 41, range 11, W5M has excellent 3D seismic support, which is expected to enhance the opportunity to encounter better than average producing zones. Rapidly improving and well tested limited entry multi-stage fracing, similar to such practices used in the Montney and Horn River plays, will be applied in the test well. Permitting has begun, and it is anticipated that the well will be spud the third week of September. The Company has retained the right to participate in a portion of the test well costs, which will result in Altima holding a 50% working interest in the farm-out lands.
Rick Switzer, President and CEO, said, "We are encouraged with recent on trend (horizontal) drilling results and the implication of new completion strategies on production profiles. These facts, when coupled with recently implemented Alberta Government policies on reduced spacing and new royalty structures, bode very well for Altima's exploration efforts at Chambers."

IT IS A BIG DEAL !! that's an all time record for daily volume isn't it?
"551k shares traded today and closed green?"
so the answer to your question might be ...NEVER
and again this makes no sense.......on one hand the message is they have not disclosed the feedstock source...AND ON THE OTHER HAND THE CLAIM IS
"using plastic that probably costs more than the fuel they will produce "
the second statement is impossible to make without knowledge of the feedstock source.
so
which is it?
feedstock source is known?
OR NOT?
CANT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS
If JBII is about to move towards proving profitability with P20, you can bet that the classic responses to the companies progress will be riddled with a steady stream of cobbled disinformation/misinformation.
Lately that is exactly what we are seeing, completely false assumptions that are serving only one purpose and it certainly is not to level some decorum within a truth based debate environment. Much less present a well thought out argument.
The fabric couched arguement is falling apart as the company progresses closer to it's goals, so more of the same is expected to remain status quo...until JBII hammers down the final nails in the coffin of manufactured doubt.
The long list of "false" information seems to be growing.
so which is it...they said or didn't say?
Sorry but this message is very confusing and really...saying one thing then another.
"would not be able to use landfill waste plastic as claimed and since they refused to disclose the type of plastic used"
Well then?
did they disclose or didn't they?
and....who is they?
it's true...used to like it...while back...but after a few crazy flights, i come to the conclusion flying aint for me...once had an idea to become a pilot...but nowadays i figger folks in first class aint gonna be too happy hearing
aaaahhhhhhhhhh,,,f@#$%^^@#...grrrrr....uggggg
and the like over the intercom
have fun
adios
howdy right back.....fyi I'd come check out one of your classes, but I don't think you want to come up here and put a gun to my head (bout what it takes to get me on a plane these days)
on second thought...that wouldn't work either lol
screw the pm's..I'll come right out and say it couldn't have happened to a better chartist.
peace
ECEC trnya again +31% .0184
Somewhat silly if you ask me, to present impossible examples, or ideas based on impossible timelines, as depictions of potentially better decisions, that could have been made...if it is impossible for them to have been implememented.
Where it becomes silly is when the example is based on not only improbable scenario's, conditions etc....but predicated on ideas resulting from the deliberations of a inconceivable data set or group of parameters that cannot apply to the matter in the first place.
Much like the insinuation the technology requires a title V permit.
This is common when you have ideals contrived as a result of less than 30 minutes DD.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
sure..lol....I think it is blatantly obvious that much evidence exists!
sadly there never seems to be enough of it!
Frankly, the idear that he has not divulged enough YET is horsehockey.
comparisons to other pyro oil companies do not make a case for the contrary.
and newsflash
started selling almost 2 years ago?
please....more than 30 minutes DD may be required
clearly the facts are not sinking in here
this aint about being rigid...it is about rubbing out the fantasies...and trying to keep the facts as we know them clearly in view
sure the schedule has fallen behind but it sure as hell aint 2 years behind, and running off someone elses labour would never have changed that.
that is about the most ridiculous counter I have seen to date.
yep drill we must
In malcom we trust
hit oil or bust
obviously folks like to weigh the pro's and cons of the current finance hunting brigade...and thats fair game for deliberation of course
but I think we all know the game afoot, historically and really some of the old what for is getting a wee bit tired.
but seriously...with eegc as with any other spec play, the informed startegy is to set aside 75% of your wager for times like these.
afterall it is a spec play, and spec plays almost always have hiccups ..pps drops...catastrophe's...lengthy delays, snafu's...you name it...having a pool of powder on reserve instead of vested at outset, is the safer move, as things stumble re-evaluation of the spec's, may or may not lead to a more equitable pps avg.
and that is my contention with the ballyhoo comparisons to what I like to call post commercialization/revenue positive plays
The two are entirely different and should be treated as such.
Sitting down at the poker tables comes with many caveats, investing in a company lead by a man with a message from god, has even more.
Ludicrous to assume anyone at this table is expecting positive revenues, without some kind of progress.
So yup.....rights offering didn't get the drill turning, and rightfully so....7 cents was just not something folks were going to throw at the company....malcolm has to have known that, and had better be working up a better plan.
there i said it....but really....so bloody what.
cheers
That example is the most absurd example yet.
Permits are company, technology and feedstock specific.
You cannot simply borrow a permit, share a permit or anything of the sort, in my opinion, if you have information to the contrary, please share it with us.
Seems a complete disconnect between the allowable permitting process and these ridiculous demands exists.
I am officially poo poo'ing that permit sharing notion.
It is important for people researching this company to understand fully, the actual technology employed, regulations to be followed, and get their heads around reality in those respects, otherwise much wasted time surrounds certain aspects of these foolish debates, such as the previously held notion that a title V permit is required at this juncture.
ug...that's not very encouraging either
heres a thought instead of bantering on the boards....pick up the phone and chew troy's ass out, tell him to step up and get this company in gear!
SUPER NITWIT can do anything
except chores and honeydoos
ok so..i see the downward action, and theres some filings
but got no time for the play by play
whats the readers digest here...worth a shot at a bounce or is this thing over?
peace
you may be right
lol...nice to see pntv creepin
Nice recovery from the .002's!
