I guess this wasn't an isolated incident
Local news source. I remember the payroll issues in 2021 too.
I'm a local in Oneida. I personally know the poster. I'm not going to expect you to auto believe me, but it she would have zero reason to lie about it. And it could be a minor glitch, of course. But this is not the first time on payroll.
I've posted here before a couple years ago giving local perspective. I pray it gets better.
RNVA failing to make payroll. Again.
Long time no see
$10 says you called the one that's open in North Dakota. That is not the same hospital that Rennova owned, that remains closed in Tennessee.
Hey again from Scott County, guys. Things here not looking good st all. It's looking more and more like a matter of time, but it would also explain the vast amount of dilution that's been done over the last week. It may just be me being a local, but the feeling here is these are the death throes.

Different highlight from last story: Second round of stimulus funding DENIED. No new money. We're screwed here.
More great news out of Scott County!
I had heard rumors about this around town, but they were just rumors until now.

Back to not paying their people, for the third or fourth time.
Well, unfortunately, this didn't take long.
https://www.wate.com/news/local-news/jellico-medical-center-officially-closes-after-er-is-no-longer-open-hope-for-future-providers/
Pretty sure you're right. I know BSFMC is owned by Rennova, and am 98% sure they're leasing Jellico (which would be how the Council has the power to boot them). The clinics I'm not up to speed on.
I don;t want to come off as the guy telling you "ALL IS BAD AHHHHHH", just want to give you guys a little local perspective, and the Jellico announcement encouraged me to post again after a year. I really do hope things turn around, and INOQ could be that spark.
My personal worry is would any of the spark find its way here or not, but that's just me.
I do hear you, and I agree, Seamus is not even close to the biggest problem here. We as citizen's of Scott County bear a good deal of blame for the failures in our Hospital. He's the easy target.
At the same time, stop making promises you can't/won't keep, and continue to blow sunshine up our butts, and shareholders as well.
And I do recognize you guys here are investors, and Filter, you might be the ultimate outside investor in this place. I really hope for our sake and yours something gets fixed. But the State isn't going to do it, and the national gov can't give a damn about us.
Then it closes again. Been there, done that. He came in with a lot of promises, and hasn't delivered on any of them. Multiple instances of late payroll, shutting down admissions... the local government released their stake in it. They're not going back. They're not blinking either.
Where is the money going? Great question, because I can say with a fairly high degree of certainty it ain't going into Scott County.
The problem is asking the local governments, who are already struggling, to save the day. I can't speak to the Jellico local council, but here in Scott County, the County Commission knew it couldn't sustain the hospital over 20 years ago, so they leased it to various operators (Rennova is number 5 or 6 in 20 years, if I recall correctly) who all promised they knew how to keep it going. Every single one has failed. This includes big names like Saint Mary's out of Cincinnati, etc. So I think 6-7 years ago, they finally stopped leasing it, and sold the hospital to a group out of Mississippi (Pioneer?) who tried to set up and system of rural hospitals throughout Tennessee. (sound familiar?) They went bankrupt within 2-3 years, and Rennova bought the BSFMC from them in the bankruptcy proceedings. So I can say that the local government is not going to come in and bail Seamus out. Hoping the State comes in is another matter, but I believe if they were going to do that, they would have done it for Jamestown.
As for us living here, we're tired of the promises these people all bring in, and never, ever deliver on. We have dozens of hospitals to choose from, but they're minimum 30-45 minutes away. Not terrible, but it would be so much better having one 10 minutes away.
Oh, and as for the "invested in a CT machine", that family member that went up there was refused one because it "wasn't working".
No idea. Knoxville has multiple hospitals, one affiliated with the University of Tennessee, and multiple in a group called Covenant health. Another group of hospitals runs as Tennova Health, ironically. (they had the name first)
Hello again from Scott County!
Been a long time since I posted, but I read the board pretty much every day. I hadn't heard up here that Jellico was going to do this, but it isn't surprising. BSFMC hasn't admitted a single patient in at least as long as Jellico. Really, the thing that surprises me most is that they're still pretending to be a hospital, despite losing $2-3 million a month, and there are people who still believe this company is going to turn around.
Both Jellico and BSFMC are glorified ERs. Had a family member go up there about 3 weeks ago with a severe mental issue, who was sent home becaues "We don't have anything here to help him., and can't do anything for him." Took him to Knoxville, and he's still admitted there.
I hate to say it, because AGAIN we're going to be without a hospital, but the writing is on the wall here. It's not turning around. If you look through the obituaries here, any COVID death was in a hospital in Knoxville. I admire those of you who held on this long.
Anything you wanna ask, feel free.
Well, thunder stolen. Was coming back to mention that lots of people here in Scott County were talking about BSFMC paying off old bills and getting caught up, hinting that Rennova got relief money, but that 8-K beat me to it.
Still no new cases here in Scott, been exactly 30 days since our last one. $7.4 million will hopefully get them current with a bunch of their suppliers as well!
Scott County reporting in!
We've now gone 15 days without a new confirmed case of the plague in Scott County, and I believe Fentress is nearly as long. Reopening has started here in earnest, restaurants and gyms, salons and barbers coming Wednesday.
For interest for you guys, https://imgur.com/8HWUoBT here's a map of current active cases in Tennessee. Not much going on as you can see around Rennova hospitals. There's really been no push to reopen Jamestown around here, and there's still not a peep coming out of BSFMC other than the job offerings on their Facebook page. It could be turnover, or new positions, no way to tell from here.
Hope you're all doing well!
Greetings again from Scott County!
We picked up cases 5, 6 & 7 in the last two days here. As far as we know, none of the first 4 were hospitalized, and as I think it's been said here, only 1 patient is in the Rennova system? Could be someone in Campbell County at Jellico.
ZERO information is coming out of BSFMC. None of the employees are talking at all, and of course corporate isn't. There is anecdotal evidence that the ER is turning even the simplest cases out to Knoxville, but nothing I can confirm. Even our local paper can't get a peep out of them. Sorry I can't give you guys more.
Hope you all have a safe Easter!
Based on the rumors I've been hearing, RNVA really, really needs some stimulus money, but more urgently, an image makeover. Particularly amongst medical professionals.
EDIT: The payroll fiascos have hurt them badly in reputation.
I wish you luck, my friend.
Hi again from Scott County!
We keep going along here. Only 1 confirmed case, but it's generally accepted we have had 2, with one person being refused testing despite having direct contact with the first case. Both were teenagers. Things really haven't gotten bad at all here yet. Still trundling on.
No official news out of BSFMC. I have rumors, but can't confirm anything. As for JRMC, not even rumors. Nothing at all coming out of there. I saw a post about job listings earlier looking for nurses. Hasn't been talked about on local media job lines yet, but I'm not ruling it out. Hope it's true!
Hope you all are staying well!
PS George, how deep are you in this? 400M? All at .0001?
I'll throw a rock across the state park and see if anybody there says ow
Greetings again from Scott County!
Reading the board, as far as I know, Jamestown is still not open. There have been zero announcements, no hiring drives, no releases from Fentress County at all. Word like that would run like wildfire through this rural area. Not going to 100% confirm, but it's highly unlikely, unfortunately.
State says we have 2 cases here, but our County Mayor has no specifics on the second one, so who knows. Hospital still running, no news out of it at all. IMO, no news is good news right now!
Stay safe and healthy!
First two cases identified in Scott County. As of now, things are still relatively normal, most businesses still up and running for drive thru or pickup kinda things, shelves are relatively full. As for the hospital, no real rumblings of any bad shortages or the like. Still feels very "normal" here right now. Schools have been closed for this last week here, so hopefully the spread will be slower.
Not much news coming out of BSFMC at all, good or bad. Supposed to have been a meeting yesterday with the county Mayor, but no idea if it even happened. Just hoping their prep work was enough.
Bottom line, still early in the game, but Scott County is still hanging in there. Will keep you all updated, be safe, be healthy!
No word yet on the meeting, if it still happened, but that's the best website to keep your eye on. Panic doesn't seem to have settled in here, at least. Trying to keep on keepin on.
I know this is a Rennova investors board, I just thought a local perspective might be good. Hope all of you and your families are well!
State Gov updated list by county. Updates each day at 2:00PM Central time.
For reminder, Jamestown is Fentress County, BSFMC is Scott County, Jellico is Campbell County.

Thank you! Fortunately, I have very little first hand experience with BSFMC under Rennova, as I've been lucky enough to be healthy. The hospital itself has a poor reputation among people here, but that goes back many years and many owner/operators. Hard to break reputations, especially when you struggle even a little bit.
I don't know that taking JRMC away would necessarily be because of blame, although I can see investors seeing it that way. It might be more of an expedite the process sort of thing. I was very glad to hear other states making the call to open shuttered places.
Howdy folks, been watching this board for a while as I'm a resident in Oneida. Reason for signing up now: talking about forcing JRMC open. If the state comes in and forces it open, would it not simply take the building through eminent domain, rather than allowing Rennova to hold ownership? Especially with the animosity shown by certain state lawmakers towards SL in particular.
