Wow. Down almost 80%. What a vote of confidence!
If my math is right, my $.70 is now worth $.14. Woohoo!
RL
I just took at look at my Schwab account. My CWRN is now worth 70 cents.
My old CWRN and AURC are pretty much worthless. At least I learned my lesson. I'm strictly a big board stock investor. I actually MADE money since the 29th on my first investment since getting burned in pinkey land.
Good Luck to all.
RL
Lost? No. The magnets remove the iron, leaving pretty much everything else behind. The gold is actually easier to extract at that point because half of the original material (Iron) is now gone. Only the iron is attracted to the magnets, the rest just settles to the bottom to be processed for the other minerals.

Russia Trip?
I've been away for some time. DOS was planning a trip to Russia. Did that ever happen?
Thanks
RL
You heard from whom?
RL
Can't do that with a blackberry. Also, much of the info in no longet relevant.
RL
Cabroncita,
Would it be possible to clean up the Ibox? Every time I go out of town, I have to check this board on a Blackberry, which means that I can't close the Ibox and have to scroll and scroll and scroll through the information to get to the board. On a 3" screen, this can be very tedious. It appears that most of the photos and about 2/3rds of the PRs are not needed. I'd be glad to help if I can do so with my free account.
Thanks
RL
When a RS happens, what happens to odd lot holdings? For example, let's say that I have 7,021 shares and they do a 1000 to 1 RS. The 7000 becomes 7, but what happens to the 21 shares?
Thanks
RL
Not forged, just irrelevant. Who owns Krong? This is one of the (MANY) central questions.
RL
Yes, the PR does, but the legal opinion does not address who owns Krong, which would be the only way the legal opinion would be of value. PRs have said a lot of things that were untrue. PRs don't cut it anymore.
RL
Is this all that Slava wanted us to be patient for? I had no doubt that Krong owns the tailings. What I want to know (among many other things) is WHO OWNS KRONG?
Has anyone had contact with Slava? Is this the big info release he was talking about? I am underwhelmed.
RL
Thank you for your efforts.
RL
Yes, but we did get a share dividend.
RL
Upon what do you base this information?
Thanks
RL
Eik,
Only those who have an agenda hate someone for posting unpopular DD. I would love the number. Do they speak English? I'm long, though I don't know if anyone should respect me for it.
RL
OT
Maniac,
Nice pic. Did you take it? Are you in a P-51 with a jump seat, or are you flying and very good at multitasking?
RL
I considered doing the same, but when I was considering it, the price was $.024, so I'm glad I resisted the temptation....

NEWS!
Aurus Shall Introduce Documental Evidence
Thursday February 21, 12:26 pm ET
NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 21, 2008 -- Aurus Corp (Other OTC:AURC.PK - News) shall produce documents on its website (www.auruscorp.com) Tuesday, February 26, 2008 to prove that its affiliate, Krong Company, is the owner of the assets stipulated in the geological report (43-101) completed by TsNIGRI.
Furthermore, it shall provide documental evidence that the author of the report is TsNIGRI. "Once and for all, the public will not have any doubt as to the assets owned by Krong. We trust that the evaluation shall re-establish the share price relative to the value of the assets," adds Mr. Dovgan, president.
If it is not a scam, it would be $10k well spent.
Unfortunately, at this point I think it would be money down a rat hole....
RL
Based on a couple of years worth of history, yes.
Nothing would make me happier than for someone to give me evidence that it will turn out differently than Mexico and Mindoro.
RL
If you can tell me that someone at the equipment company has received payment and shipped equipment, I'll believe again.
They've written purchase orders for equipment in the past, and never paid, so nothing ever shipped.
RL
180k @ between .10 and .11.
Ugh!
When 2C's video was posted o so long ago, a few people with mining experience were debating what kinds of machines we were seeing (shaker table, ball mill, etc).
Let's assume that the report is correct and that AURC owns the pile, how difficult is the extraction method that is mentioned at the end of the report? It mentions specifically that it is expensive. How expensive? Does it use equipment and expertise that is common in the mining industry, or is it specialized?
Any info from those with mining knowledge is appreciated.
RL
You can't say that there is no economic viability without the answers to my questions....which it looks like you don't have.
RL
I'm hoping someone here knows enough about mining to answer the following:
What is the cost to set up the "expensive processes with complex schemes, i.e. deep concentration of cinder"?
Is this a common practice, commonly available or does it require specialized knowledge/equipment beyond common mining techniques?
How difficult (and more importantly, how expensive) is it to grind the materials to 0.1mm?
We now know what is in the pile, now we need to know how much it will cost to process in order to determing the economic viability (and therefore the potential sale price) of AURC.

NNRF went from $.50 (or perhaps less) to $10.00.
RL
No, actually, it doesn't. It has a history of consistently falling, then going through a reverse split, and consistently falling again.
RL
Yes, they made a video. Check previous PRs--many months ago, it is mentioned there (and I believe there is also a link).
Thanks
RL
I never said they'd make money (though I hope they do). I just meant that people who aren't married to the stock have the right attitude. Unfortunately, they can't spell for cr@p.
RL
I disagree. I believe (pure speculation based on a couple of years of owning this stock) they are shopping themselves around the Canadian juniors and are looking for a replacement offer. That way, they can PR the new (better, even if by a penny) offer as replacing the previous one.
It would be similar to what CWRM just did. They sat on a deal (JV with Chinese steel mill) in the Philippeans for several months, not doing anything, then PR'd that they have a deal in Mexico, and by the way, the old Philippean deal is dead. Good news with bad.
RL
At least it looks like the right type of people are here. Get in, make a buck, and get out.
For anyone who is looking at this as a long term investment, my $4,500 investment (I first bought in July of 2006) is now worth $10.53.
Beware!
RL
Any advice as to how I could acquire a copy?
Thanks
RL
How do you know the REGEX proves the geo report? Did I miss a posting?
RL
Actually, many of us are disgruntled current shareholders. Our shares aren't worth enough to sell.
Best of luck.....we'll all need it.
RL
Mr. B,
You probably won't get an answer this week as the Russian Orthodox Christmas is 1 week later than ours. However, I would love to know what they say when they do respond.
RL
PR today about new mineral rights in Baja Mexico.
JV was dissolved.
Ho Hum.
RL
I am not familiar with the MOD requirements at IHUB. If I am understanding you correctly, a MOD must perform some kind of affermative move on a regular basis to remain a MOD? For example, if he were to just disappear, he would be stripped of his MOD status at some point?
I agree that it would be positive if he was still active in SOME way with the board, and not just a name that no one got around to removing from the MOD position.
Thanks
RL
What, pray tell, did you ask, and what, pray tell did she say??????????
RL
Actually, we don't know much more than was in the video, however much of the information in the video has been confirmed. Life is good!
RL
I believe so. It is fairly common to find gold and copper together. The Soviets wanted copper for industry. Typically, copper decreases the extraction costs for gold (mining accounting sees anything that isn't gold as trash, if you can sell that trash (ie copper), it is counted against costs, rather than additive to revenues), which is why the extraction costs are high relative to NXG, AUY, etc (which have lots of copper in the tailings that they sell for record prices).
Thanks
