cbb@ Newer to late to get wiser. Let's hope Amarin understands your clear message - also :)
Actually Dr. Jims post (borrowed from Yahoo - yesterday) very much revealed how big this problem is' - which RoseM noticed and replied to at once.

Jasbg
HK@ Thanks for answering. And I hear you' - in the end it is all about trying to help the cardio doctor - hopefully 'catching what happens' during attacks :)
Jasbg
OT: Louie@ If everything goes well - you could buy one of these to take you to your beach house.
From demonstration it would seem faster to walk - though :)
Haven't seen if this link has been brought here - if so no harm done:
Matthew Budoff, MD: Effect of Icosapent Ethyl on Plaque Regression
https://www.practicalcardiology.com/view/effect-of-icosapent-ethyl-on-plaque-regression
marjac@ Just curios - how big is the traditional 'Fish Oil' market actually in money worldwide:
https://www.alliedmarketresearch.com/fish-oil-market
Talking 'non medicine' it's a big market' - and expected to keep growing.
And to think 'that it' can actually (most likely will) make your CDV health worse - it's a mad world out there'. But a market that size - you don't just change overnight. It will take decades to get the message out. :)
And have to say' getting the message out CBB's point about BP's better muscles to do that 'effectively' - not wasting valuable years - makes a lot of sense.
Jasbg
HK & sts@ Thanks for your pro valuations here. Actually my wife di see a cardio specialist and he send her home with this arrythmia monitor for 4 days - were she were absolutely fine (some 5 weeks ago) monitor was brought back to clinic - 4 days later she has 'the attacks' naturally in a weekend - where Cardio clinic closed.
Reason for this post' I then decided to explore the 'free market' for home EKG monitors. And long story short - comparing review sites pointed to the one herunder:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/EMAY-Bluetooth-Portable-Monitor-Detections/dp/B07DXHJYBX
Have to say I'm very impressed with this little device - can itself point to 12 different heart conditions analyzing EKG. Hopefully next time 'we can catch how heart reacts during attacks'.
Jasbg
PS. I did not realize how much equip. out there for heart recording. There must be at least 20 devises competing for this market.
cbb@ Thanks for answering - and i accept your reasons - and a fair valuation of JT - after all.
Understand you believe BO is 'the only way forward'. Only way to reach full potential of Vascepa - is the marketing power of BP.
---------------------------
Whatever happens - the near future of Amarin and Vascepa - will be very interesting. Are we in for the fairytale', just a little delayed - would be nice :)
All the best
Jasbg
cbb@ Teasing a little bit here.
Noticed that eg.Raf. very quickly noticed that - not being Bought Out (in the unsecure months after killing of patents in marts) - right this moment have been 'the right policy' from JT and Amarin.
No matter outcome of appeal - a BO price, after great EP results, will now be higher - as pointed out by postes also - in post a bit earlier.
Do you - and others - arguing all the way for BO - today praise CEO JT for his wisdom - in not 'giving the company away' for $20- 25 a share - as suggested by several on this board earlier - these last months ? :)
Jasbg
cbb@ Dangerous to get you warmed up :)
I noticed all your strong points here - as I'm sure have others. Future will tell (maybe sooner than most expect) if the way you think has reached the men and woman in charge of Amarin :)
Jasbg
cbb@ I know how strong you feel about this - and get your point here: That Dr. Jims post proves your point - 'Still practically no-one in US Hospitals and Med. systems 'know about Vascepa'.
I'm not the person to be the judge in this. I guess what you will have to do - is look at history in likewise situations for other small inventive drug companies - selecting a number of parameters to compare: Who did best in the long run - the ones that GIA - or the ones that got BO ?
Jasbg
rose@ Sure - you got a point here !
I took the approach of - of Dr. Jim pointing to 'the potential being enormous' - as the message has not been spread yet - BUT IT WILL BE :)
Again Covid restrictions hit Amarin at a bad time - talking marketing.
Jasbg
A good day for Amarin and shareholders :)
-------------------
A lot of medecin people also on Yahoo - borrowed this fine input from there:
Thanks to Dr. Jim
[quote: Dr. Jim - 21 hours ago
Observations from the front line -
I'm an ER Doc covering shifts at several smaller Iowa hospitals for the last 15 years. 25 yr FP prior.
I have seen NO Vascepa Rxs thus far. I see several patients per shift that would be good candidates. The market is enormous and has not yet begun to be tapped in my region. Docs just have not been informed and educated yet. I suspect this is true in most areas. When the information filters to this level by Amarn reps, medical society guidelines, articles in review and specialty journals, DTC ads, etc.-- Katy bar the door! When informed, docs will readily prescribe. When they hear the story, they will prescribe "Do Not Substitute" for those indications that have patent protection. They will not be sympathetic to the generics trying to scavenge. Payers will cover for appropriate indications. Even if the appeal is lost, the Reduce-It prevention indication is 4X larger than the elevated TG indication (at issue in the law suit). Win or lose this goes up after the appeal is resolved (perhaps after a temporary dip after a loss).
Lose, more gradual increase as sales/earnings increase. Win, rocket takes off in anticipation of BO.][/quote]
Jasbg
HK & postes@ Thanks for reply on wife - comforting :)
Jasbg
HK@ The many models (ever changing) of US health system - does make barriers - and lots of them it seems.
--------------------
Being from Denmark - Scandinavia - we don't have quite as many problems (differences) in out health systems.
But then again - total population in my country is about the size of one of your big cities in America.
---------------------------
A major problem regarding Vascepa - you just can't get it outside USA and Canada.
Want it for my wife who has some minor rather common heart issues (heart jump a beat ahead - which most people don't even recognize - but she has periods with attack's that makes her nervous (she ways 50 kg and walk 6 km every day) so doctor says (ekg taken several times) that she as healthy as they come - but every 2- 4 months she has a couple of days with these attack (5 - 10 times) - and then things back to normal in every way. Startet a couple of years ago - when she passed 65 years of age.
I have this belief that Vascepa - would be exactly the medecin for her - so hopefully EU approval process will move fast - so we can both get on life improving Vascepa :)

PS: A bit funny that the 'ever haunting compared to Fish Oil problem' - is actually turned around here - to a positive :)
Irish@ How right you are - and about future hopefully also :)
Jasbg
Louie@ That's good advice :)
raf@ You didn't. You actually defended BB's right to Speak his Mind :)
jerrywhoo@ As i stated elsewhere - BB is part of the wallpaper in this forum (look at his followers).
But he is 'on edge' right now (as are we all).
-------------------------------------------------------
So BB 'please' - Let the pro Law people do the Law Stuff - till after Oral - Thanks Pal :)
Jasbg
postes@ I'm not quite sure sure what you mean here - who you'r shooting at.
But I can only repeat - that this is not the time for 'for pointless fights' leading nowhere. So It will not be mee spoiling 'the mood' :)
Jasbg
OT@ Here something to soften the tension a bit.
------------------------
I just love these 'best' sax players - goes right to the Soul !
2 subjects in one post:
------------------------
I do apologize to any poster I might have - unfairly - suspected of being Generic Troll on this page.
I earlier in political forums 'again and again' ran into these pro trolls - and that possible made me 'somewhat paranoid' on the subject.
-------------------------
Second subject: As a Bank or Hedge Fund - You could buy 'half the world' - with the money that Judge Du's ruling moved (+ $6 billion).
Do that mean we are talking Corruption here ?
What drives this question is the many (far to many for normal practice) errors the Judge made.
21 errors - 5 Major - according to poster isaeeds 'Summary of the case and DC Order' yesterday.
-----------------------
All we can do - is hope for is a Just and Fair appeal case from CFAC - 'Restoring Trust in US Legal Systems' - and then be - 'On to the Future'.
Jasbg
Meo@ Thanks for explaining.
And I found the number of 'Float'- so a bit wiser :)
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMRN/key-statistics?p=AMRN
Jasbg
Lemm@ 'Me Too' (not LBGT - related) :)
Volume 'normal' in After market - and we'r back to under 7' - just another day - waiting :)
https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/amrn/after-hours-trades
Jasbg
PS - Maybe some trades a bit bigger than normal in AM - 4.000 - 2.500
golden@ Could you please explain this 'float' problem - a bit deeper to us 'not so hardcore' in this game.
-------------------------
As I understand it - it is something that goes all the way back to the early days of the company.
I think it was CBB that made the effort to research 'beginning'- (some weeks back) - where 3 big investors from Ireland financed the company - against some rather hard payback arrangement - as I recall ?
Jasbg
rosem@ I have to admit I 100% agree with Judge Du's ruling in the case you linked to.
Se here why above ruling makes a lot of sense:
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=157756347
Jasbg
Louie@ I obviously missed that - Thanks for clearing up' :)
News regarding Europe (if already posted here no harm done:
Borrowed from Yahoo. Thanks to Vincent Bats.
isaeed@ Impressive input - regarding Amarin CAFC Appeal - Thanks.
--------------------
We seem to have on more Legal trained mind here ?
Jasbg
eight@ Right' - Fingers and everything else Crossed :)
eight@ Volume not chancing (actually nothing is changing).
SP has since days after marts ruling been locked by algorithms (between $6,6 - and 7 - a few times above 7 but very fast forced down under again).
The Real Question here is: Who could have an interest in keeping the SP under control (low) ?
---------------------
Assuming it is GS that bought in when 360 million shares traded in 3 days for little over $4,2 average - they do not care what the SP price is today.
They are in for the long term expecting SP to go much higher - at some point regardless of Appeal outcome.
Who is back ? Big Pharma. BP looking for a possible BO - don't want SP before Appeal to go to $10 - 15 (meaning well over 20 on possible Appeal win). Only plausible explanation IMO - to why this stock moves NOWHERE for months.

How does the modern markets work (almost best not to know - putting your hard earned money in 'the game') :)

CEO of Hikma talk 'relevant' to our case - borrowed from Yahoo:
Thanks to Robert:
Correction: Should have been 1991- (not 1919) - in top line - sorry :)
BB@ That is exactly what this lady warned about back in 1919 - would inevitably happen.
10 minutes in the video about Covid-19.
https://videos.files.wordpress.com/r9YNYzOr/www.vdyoutube.com-plandemic-documentary-the-hidden-agenda-behind-covid-19_dvd.mp4

Look at the number of ratings on the book (possible read some of them - many Doctors among).
Jasbg
Meo@ Why do you answer for osom@ - how many profiles do you have on this board ?
osom@ Are you here to help Amarin or Generics ?
Who are you trying to influence with links ?
Cardio@ LOL :)
Lineker Remarks - is just how it is 'historic - that why it was a very Funny - and people remember it :)
Cardio@ That is a qualified guess :)
I do hope a little for Paris though (if they deserve it). Bayern have won everything several times - Paris have never won Champions League :)
If you are 'player' - I would put my money on Bayern - also :)
