My bet is you will be collecting Social Security before weed is allowed in interstate commerce. We ain’t Canada. We are a conglomeration of independent states that mostly hate each other, and would love to screw their neighbors.
And the Feds aren’t going to do much since the smart ones are getting out and leaving the nation to the loonies. And the loonies will never, I mean never, legalize marijuana.
Oversold is only half the story. Trulieve’s dominant position is now in three states - Florida, Arizona, and Pennsylvania - with growing presence in West Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maryland. They are making profits and reinvestment is in future growth without hitting the capital or debt markets for ongoing cash.
They are the 600lb gorilla in the room.
Today will be known on the Street as the Great Washout.
I took my own advice this morning.
Onward.
What a lovely day to be buying. Thank you to all the stupids selling. Much appreciated
It’s the washout phase of a double bottom. I can’t think of a better time to go long.
I’ll make it real easy for you to understand.
Cannabis is not wheat, soybeans, or any other agricultural crop. It’s a drug. Pure and simple. And will always be regulated just like booze.
Everybody on this board will be long dead and buried before Columbia sells marijuana legally in the US.
We protect our own growers. Right?
With todays announcement on how Trulieve is celebrating the one year anniversary of rec sales in AZ everyone can see how a true marketing plan works
Sheer genius
Love this company
Onward
Cabos. You just hit the daily double.
BINGO!
Nice words almost a Caesar salad. Anyway what are they going to sell, bongs?
Agreed. Now is the time to bring cash flow positive from your own operations.
Agreed 110% right down the line. And if you look to the end of 2024, you ain’t seen nothing yet !!!
As for rec in FL, Tru’s main lobbyist has close ties to our current gov.
Time is always your friend if you have a great horse to ride, and this is very early in the race.
Connected has some fabulous strains and it’s Alien Labs products are absolutely top shelf. When I’m visiting family in Las Vegas, I’m pretty much an exclusive Alien lover.
Big difference between Canada and the US in Cannibis legally
That US Circle Ks will be selling Cannibis will never happen in our lifetimes. Too much regulation by states and municipalities. The cost of business would be prohibitive. Also product is iffy when production comes in huge quantities. Just ask any of todays MSOs how difficult it is to produce quality AND quantity in the same batch.
So very true.
Tuesday afternoon. Trulieve dispensary in Palm Beach Gardens is packed. Twenty five minute wait
I’m invested in a money making machine. Added some more today
Ain’t life grand?
Lousy week for everybody - holidays took everybody’s cash.
But Trulieve’s numbers still held market share, so all is good. The surprise was how well Curaleaf did. Shows the power of 50% discounts. Lol.
Yep. He’s the biggest toad in the south.
Hey, Cabos, nice post. And even though I have great bros, I get my kicks from the legal end. Why?
I know exactly what I am using.
Bros sometimes are sneaky MoFo’s.
If you vape, as I do, live diamonds make an incredibly delightful vape. Hard to describe, it’s not a hard rush, it’s more subtle and stronger. The vape is soft on the pallet with a full concentration of the terps in the concentrate.
And at Tru’s pricing it is no wonder it sold out quickly. I’m saving up for their Feb batch.
Nothing but net
Nah. That would probably be a disaster. I like the 80 dispensaries CC has, and their markets compliment Tru’s hub vision. For surprises I’d look at RWB too, even if their financials suck. Cresco is another potential, but I think it’s too heavy into wholesale which is lousy margins.
Jushi would be nice, but Columbia Care would be better. They are proving they can swallow a big fish, so only hunt big fishes.
OMG. It’s the best process ever. Live diamonds are the best it gets with Cannibis. Smooth and powerful. A sheer delight
The real question is who they are going to acquire in 2022.
Lots of options.
No doubt Trulieve will be well over one billion in sales this year.
My analysis shows 2022 numbers at 1.325-billion for the year as MA and PA come on board with good numbers. PA alone could add $350-million with MA coming in around $70-million. With WV an unknown, and figuring Harvest with just ten percent growth and the numbers could easily be achieved.
By maintaining their cost percentage, Trulieve’s profits could well exceed $100-million in 2022. This company is a machine.
Rumor out of Boca is that a big announcement will be forthcoming by month’s end.
And that’s all I know. But I have good sources.
Really, Philly? Spent a summer at Drexel. Chinatown really starts at 9th, but who cares. Their location is perfect. Absolutely. Only place better would be on Wall Street. <wink>
Yes, and we need to be listed in the USA, we generate zero dollars in Canada. It’s just plain stupid, but then I’ve only met two politicians in my entire life that were both smart and honorable.
This just shows how stupid most investors truly are. They can’t see the trees, only the forest.
Kim is taking a page right out of Ray Kroc’s book. Open stores close together in your initial investments, then branch out by opening new outlets using your profits from your concentrated market. Control your logistics train, set low prices to gather loyal customers and keep competitors margins lower than yours, promote your business like a madman, and hire the best you can find.
I’m telling you right now, this Trulieve is going to be the McDonalds of Cannabis
Now 160 dispensaries nationwide. Nobody is even close.
When the SAFE finally gets signed into law this stock is going to explode.
Lovely.
The Feds have no choice. Wall Street will demand it.
Institutional investors use that as their “magic number” when shoveling large amounts of cash into a company’s stock. It’s those buys that move a stock.
If there ever was a stock destined for a reverse stock split, this is it.
My bet is this. CC has approximately 320-million shares outstanding. The odds of them earning a buck a share are many years away.
What to do?
Reverse stock split 3-1. Stock goes to ten bucks a share overnight with the high teens in the near future.
Status quo on CC is near term dead money.
Look folks, the pot stocks are to be accumulated until the Feds get their collective heads out of their butts and do something
And they eventually will have no choice. It’s like ending prohibition in the early 30s. If you purchased Canadian liquor stocks in the very early 30s when the anti-prohibition crowd got going, you would have waited three years before they popped. But the gains were spectacular. Seagrams, for example, went from three bucks to thirty in six months.
Patience
Medical THC is the profit driver, flower is a revenue driver. Biggest profit margin at retail is edibles.
Go figure.
Cash deal under a million. Big part was picking up their debt. Good location, lousy management. Nice score by the Harvest team
I was just asked what off the charts meant
How about selling over one ton of flower every week? Or 100,000 grams of oils?
Every week
