Nex Benedict Cause Of Death Revealed By Medical Examiner
https://truthpress.com/news/nex-benedict-cause-of-death-revealed-by-medical-examiner/
The death of a nonbinary high school student that was used by liberals to bash Republican policies has been ruled a suicide by a medical examiner.
16-year-old Dagny Benedict got into an altercation with other students in a bathroom at the Owasso High School on Feb. 7. The next day, Benedict was found dead, and many in the media rushed to blame Republican policies concerning transgender students in Oklahoma.
“Nex Benedict’s death from a brutal assault in their high school bathroom is outrageous and heartbreaking. The anti-trans fervor fueled by extreme Republicans across the country is having deadly consequences for our children,” said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on social media. “We must stand up against anti-trans hate.”
Police previously said that Benedict did not die as a result of any trauma, but many on the left continued to blame Republicans.
On Wednesday, that narrative collapsed after a report from the chief medical examiner in Oklahoma found that Benedict died from suicide. The report said that Benedict overdosed from diphenhydramine, an antihistamine, and fluoxetine, an antidepressant. A full report will be released on March 27.
The Owasso Police Department released a statement about the report.
“From the beginning of this investigation, Owasso Police observed many indications that this death was the result of suicide. However, investigators did not wish to confirm that information without the final results being presented by the Oklahoma Medical Examiners Office,” read the statement.
“The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s report has now been made public,” the department added.
Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond also responded.
“My heart is broken over the tragic death of Nex Benedict,” Drummond said. “The Medical Examiner’s finding of suicide makes me even more concerned that bullying played a role in this terrible loss.”
Benedict was released from the hospital to return home after the fight. The next day, the teen’s mother, Sue Benedict, called police about her child. Benedict was transported to a hospital where physicians declared the teenager dead.
Police also previously released body camera footage showing Benedict admitting that the teen had tossed water on the three female students who beat her up.
Protesters and LGBTQ+ activists disrupted a meeting of the Owasso School Board and jeered the members.

‘World’s most deadly infection’ can be transmitted simply by breathing, scientists warn – as cases rise
AS tuberculosis makes a comeback in England, a new study has revealed that catching the disease might be easier than we once thought.

Dutch scientists now believe that even people who show no signs of the disease can pass on the killer bug.

Until now, healthcare experts thought TB germs were transmitted via coughing, laughing or speaking, singing or sneezing.
But a new study has found that four in five people testing positive for the killer bug don't suffer from a cough - previously thought to be a key symptom of TB.
However, even those who don't have a cough carry the infectious disease in their spit, which can be spewed into the air when someone talks or breathes, they found.
This means people can pick up the infection just by breathing near someone who has the bug but isn't showing any obvious signs, they said
"A persistent cough is often the entry point for a diagnosis," study author Professor Frank Cobelens of Global Health at Amsterdam University Medical Center said.
"But if 80 per cent of those with TB don't have one, then it means that a diagnosis will happen later, possibly after the infection has already been transmitted to many others, or not at all," he added.
The latest research, published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases, analysed data on more than 600,000 people in 12 countries across Africa and Asia, some of whom had TB.
They found that 82.8 per cent of those with the disease had no persistent cough and 62.5 per cent had no cough at all.
A quarter of those without cough have high loads of dangerous bacteria in their spit and are probably highly infectious.
Professor Frank is now calling for medics to consider new ways of diagnosing the disease so cases are not missed.
"When we take all of these factors into account, it becomes clear that we need to really rethink large aspects of how we identify people with TB," he said.
"It's clear that current practice, especially in the most resource-poor settings, will miss large numbers of patients with TB."
Cases on the rise
Cases of the Victorian disease increased by over 10 per cent last year, according to the UK Health Security Agency - up from 4,380 in 2022 to 4,850 in 2023.
Health chiefs are scrambling to "investigate the reasons" behind this sudden infection rise.
Anyone with a persistent cough and fever, particularly those in groups at a higher risk of catching TB, is being urged not to dismiss their symptoms as a cold.
Globally, 7.5million people were diagnosed with TB in 2022 - the highest number ever recorded.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) previously said this was because many people were unable to get a diagnosis or receive treatment during Covid lockdowns.
A separate report found cases of drug-resistant TB had increased by three per cent between 2020 and 2021.
What is TB?
TB remains one of the world’s most deadly diseases, and the second leading infectious killer after Covid-19.
The bacterial infection spreads in the air when people carrying the bug cough, sneeze or spit.
Symptoms include a cough for more than three weeks, feeling exhausted, a high temperature, weight loss and loss of appetite.
It can be life-threatening, but most cases can be successfully treated with antibiotics.
The infection can spread to your brain, heart, abdomen, glands, bones and nervous system.
People are at higher risk of the disease if they are in close contact with a person known to have the disease, travel to countries with high rates of TB, are homeless, are addicted to drugs, have a weakened immune system or are in prison.
There's a jab that protects against the bug, but vaccination programmes have been scrapped in several countries over the last 20 years.
WW3 is here...nukes will fly. I'm a realist.

Putin warns the West that Russia is 'ready' for nuclear war: 'Weapons exist in order to use them'
Putin also said Russia might conduct nuclear tests and cautioned the U.S. not to escalate the war in Ukraine
https://www.foxnews.com/world/putin-warns-the-west-that-russia-ready-for-nuclear-war-weapons-exist-order-use-them
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday warned the West that his country was ready for a nuclear war and said that he would consider the U.S. sending troops to Ukraine as a significant escalation of the war.
"From a military-technical point of view, we are, of course, ready," Putin told state media Rossiya-1 television and news agency RIA after he was asked about a potential nuclear war.
The Russian president said he knows the U.S. is aware that deploying troops to Ukraine or on Russian territory would be viewed by Moscow as intervening in the war. He also urged "strategic restraint."
The comments come after the Pentagon announced Tuesday that it is sending approximately $300 million in weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday warned the West that his country was technically ready for nuclear war.
In his comments, Putin added that he was neither "rushing" to use nuclear weapons nor did he believe their use in Ukraine was necessary.
"Therefore, I don't think that everything here is rushing to it [nuclear confrontation], but we are ready for this," he added.
Putin has warned several times since Russia invaded Ukraine more than two years ago that the West risks a nuclear war if it sends troops to fight in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin
Putin said Russia would consider the U.S. sending troops to Ukraine a significant escalation of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
On Wednesday, Putin explained the potential use of nuclear weapons was outlined in the Kremlin's nuclear doctrine.
"Weapons exist in order to use them," Putin said. "We have our own principles."
Putin said in the interview on Wednesday that if the U.S. conducted nuclear tests, Russia might conduct tests as well.
"It's not necessary ... we still need to think about it, but I don't rule out that we can do the same," he said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sits in chair with suit
Putin has warned several times since Russia invaded Ukraine more than two years ago that the West risks a nuclear war if it sends troops to fight in Ukraine.
The Russian leader said Russia had never been presented with a need to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine since the war began.
"Why do we need to use weapons of mass destruction? There has never been such a need," Putin said.
In recent months, Putin suggested a ceasefire in Ukraine to pause the war, but it was rejected by the U.S. after contacts between intermediaries.
The Russian president reiterated Wednesday that Russia was prepared to engage in serious talks regarding Ukraine.
"Russia is ready for negotiations on Ukraine, but they should be based on reality," he said.
Russia and the U.S. are the biggest nuclear powers in the world, together controlling more than 90% of the world's nuclear weapons.
Western leaders have promised that Russia will be defeated in its fight in Ukraine, but Russian forces continue to control nearly one-fifth of Ukrainian territory.

Federal Judge Sides With Trump, Allows More Time to File Motions
https://www.ntd.com/federal-judge-sides-with-trump-allows-more-time-to-file-motions_978993.html
The federal judge overseeing the Trump classified documents case handed defense lawyers a win on Monday, allowing a 10-day extension to file motions.
In a paperless order on Monday, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon granted former President Donald Trump a 10-day extension, meaning that he shall file a reply to their pretrial motions by March 24. His lawyers had made the request this week, arguing that they are preparing for a separate criminal trial in New York over state charges that he allegedly falsified business records at the end of the 2016 election.
The former president’s attorneys wrote that both President Trump and his attorneys “are currently preparing for a trial in New York, New York that is scheduled to begin on March 25, 2024, and the need to simultaneously devote attention to that case.
“This matter has been necessitated in part by the discovery violations and strategic scheduling demands of the Special Counsel’s Office that have prejudiced President Trump in multiple respects,” they added.
The lawyers also asked Judge Cannon to grant them more time to prepare for a hearing in the documents case in order to file materials to support multiple previous trial objections. And, according to the lawyers, President Trump needs to travel to Fort Pierce, Florida, for a hearing in the case and needs more time to prepare.
But Jay Bratt, a Department of Justice (DOJ) official who handles certain counterintelligence matters and works under Mr. Smith, filed an objection to the lawyers’ request hours later, saying that “the fact that the defense must travel to Florida for a hearing on Thursday is not unique to those teams and poses no cause for such delay.”
And Mr. Bratt added that the filing from President Trump’s attorneys on Monday is a last-minute attempt to delay the case.
“The briefing schedule has been in place for months. Only now, on the eve of the reply deadline, does the defense complain that it needs more time—mostly based on circumstances about which they have been aware throughout the pendency of their motions,” the DOJ official wrote Monday.
Trial Date
During a recent court hearing in Florida, federal prosecutors asked Judge Cannon to schedule the Trump documents trial for July, while the former president’s lawyers argued that it should be held off until after the November election. The judge didn’t set a date but appeared to shoot down the July suggestion.
The case had been scheduled to reach trial on May 20, but Judge Cannon signaled months ago that she intended to reconsider that date.
President Trump is facing 40 federal charges for alleged mishandling of sensitive and classified materials that were obtained from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida after he left the White House in 2021. Officials have also accused him for obstructing attempts to get them returned to the federal government.
The former president has pleaded not guilty to the charges, saying the charges are an attempt to to interfere in the 2024 election while he is the leading Republican presidential candidate. He also faces charges in New York City, Washington, and Georgia and has pleaded not guilty in those cases.
On March 25, he is scheduled to go to trial over claims that he falsified business records to provide adult film actress Stormy Daniels with “hush money” payments. Prosecutors in New York City allege that his campaign falsified business records to cover up the payments, which President Trump has denied. He also denied having an alleged affair with Ms. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.
Judge Allows Amicus Briefs
Last week, Judge Cannon issued a paperless order to allow two amicus briefs, known as “friend of the court” briefs, to be filed to support President Trump’s case. One was written by a former U.S. attorney general, Edwin Meese, and the other was submitted by a group headed by former Trump adviser Stephen Miller.
“The Court has reviewed the motions and finds that the proposed amici bring to the Court’s attention relevant matter that may be of considerable help to the Court in resolving the cited pretrial motions,” Judge Cannon wrote in her order, referring to the two motions. “The amicus briefs are accepted for Court consideration.”
Mr. Meese’s brief argued that current Attorney General Merrick Garland improperly appointed Mr. Smith to be special counsel in the two cases, arguing that only Congress can appoint such officials.
Those arguments have been rejected by the special counsel in a separate Trump case, while Mr. Garland in 2023 said that he had the constitutional authority to do so.
“Neither Smith nor the position of Special Counsel under which he purportedly acts meets those criteria. He wields tremendous power, answerable to no one,” Mr. Meese and two law professors wrote. “And that is a serious problem for the rule of law—whatever one may think of former President Trump or the conduct Smith challenges in the underlying case.”

CH...Never forget the truth...Donald Trump's Post Angers Alex Jones
Published Mar 09, 2024 at 11:56 AM EST
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-post-angers-alex-jones-1877581
Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has accused Donald Trump of spreading "bull s***" after the former president said he got coronavirus vaccines approved for the public in just nine months.
Jones, who has spoken out repeatedly in support of Trump, falsely labeled COVID-19 vaccines "a biological weapon" in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Trump was responding to remarks that President Biden made on Thursday at his State of the Union address, when he said: "The pandemic no longer controls our lives. The vaccines that saved us from COVID are now being used to help heat cancer, turning setback into comeback."
Responding on his Truth Social website, Trump look credit for the vaccines' rapid approval, commenting: "YOU'RE WELCOME, JOE, NINE MONTH APPROVAL TIME VS. 12 YEARS THAT IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN YOU!"
Trump's post sparked an angry response from a number of commentators who have promoted discredited conspiracy theories about the coronavirus vaccines.
Conservative podcaster Tracy Beanz screenshotted Trump's Truth Social post, adding: "The amount of anger I have over this can't be quantified in words."
This was reposted in turn by Jones, who commented on X: "I love Trump but this is bull s***! The so called vaccine is a biological weapon! Good news is people are awake and not even 45 [Trump was the 45th president] can sell it."
Other X accounts agreed with Jones, as one self-styled 'America First' campaigner wrote: "This is how Trump will lose voters. Whoever is advising Trump should tell him to distance himself from praising 'vaccines' that have killed hundreds of thousands people."
Marie Isabella, an X user with 11,700 followers, posted: "I can't believe he is continuing to double down on the vaccine. It's also unbelievable that they continue to call it a 'vaccine,' and that they're still pushing boosters, despite more studies indicating serious problems with the vax."
Referring to Trump, a third user commented: "I think he doesn't still understand how completely Fauci and his acolytes took advantage of him regarding the vaccine. Trump was fooled into thinking he was doing something great. His ego won't let him see how wrong he was."
There is no evidence to support the claim that COVID-19 vaccines have "killed hundreds of thousands of people," whereas the virus itself has killed more than 1.1 million Americans, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
On its website, the CDC describes the vaccines as "safe and effective," adding that "during the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds of millions of people in the United States received COVID-19 vaccines under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history."
In May 2020, the Trump administration announced the launch of Operation Warp Speed, with the aim of accelerating the development of vaccines for COVID-19.
The federal Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine for use in the U.S., which was produced by Pfizer, in August 2021.
In December 2021, Trump was booed by part of a crowd that had come to see him in Houston, Texas, after saying he had received a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot, as well as the original jab.
Speaking at a rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina, last month, Trump said: "I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate." Karoline Leavitt, a Trump campaign spokesperson, later told Newsweek the former president was "talking about COVID vaccines in addition to masks in the same breath."
