That would be excellent
Oh, Cont-tier mon-frier!
The company is dealing with new and mind-boggling products that will change the world. Yet they can't manage to ramp up production. And, to be honest, why would they? They are scientists and want to do science. Production and sales are not their strong-suite. Letting a company with funds and industry placement, manage the mechanics while letting Kim and the boys develop new material seems to be a win-win.
Think we all can agree that industry placement and sale is not Kim's or Jon's Wheelhouse. Why not allow someone with the connection handle this part of the business.
The stock is glaring a red flag after this last press release. A new and more powerful fiber! This should be earth-shattering, but the stock is floundering and dropping.
That makes me wonder about what investors are worried about? I would like some insight here.
TexTile
Pump and dump Pr's ahead
I'm sorry but no!
This is the classic build-up of nothing; no firm numbers only fluff. It's the build-up of a p[ump and dump.
Two press releases in as many weeks. Neither with reliable facts? Only blue sky, and a hope that the stock will climb.
I guess that the whole thing about building one product and taking that product to market escapes KBLB. I get it, they're scientists, and they like that science of discovering new and exciting materials. Exciting material or not, you have to have cash flow, it's not an important thing, it's the only thing.
Without cash, intellectual property is up for grabs by someone that has cash — speaking of money where is KBLB getting theirs at present. Is anyone here seeing the groundwork of a pump and dump? Pr's and more Pr are trying to up the price to .50, .60 maybe even a dollar. The principals dump a couple of million shares, and before you know it next years payroll is made, and KBLb survives another year.
New and impressive spider proteins are remarkable, but survival is more so.
The best thing is to be taken over by a company that can produce material and take it to market.
After 10 years KBLB has proven that it is not the company's forte'.
There seems to be some production. It would be nice to change the pictures from the ones that are on the website.
I know I am picking and probably a but didactic in my thoughts. But, show me some pictures of the production floor. Some of the "Scaling -up" that is mention so many times.
This is one of the multitudes of reasons I'm weary of this company's management team.
I guess that would be nice! thnigs move at the speed of KIM
I agree
It's hard for me to understand how is can't get financing in this market.
Hope is the opiate of the masses.
And, some on this board
Learn from yesterday, live for today. hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Albert Einstein
Show me the scaled-up production? Four maybe three racks of cacoons? To date nothing in output.
I agree that past performance is not an indicator of future results. Wait, yes it does.
The same person is bumbling through the daily process of production. Kim and Jon would both do well to leave the business to a businessman. Production is not done in an office in Vietnam. Where is the production floor? I just see a closet with a couple of cacoons racks that could be holding any kind of moths. Show me the results of first batch proof testing. Maybe KBLB is so confident that they are bypassing that process? Are they not into the second batch of eggs? Did they proceed into the second phase of growth without testing the first silk for positive genetic modification? Positive results would make a fantastic press release.
How does anyone proceed without testing? Unless the results are not what is intended. Once again, the board members are at best sketchy, and my radar is lockon this troup of monkeys on a football.
Without a doubt, I would invest in the Goo boys but they are not traded. publicly. They will, and they will have financing. None of this "my dad has a barn, lets put on a play and save the day"- little rascals type of business practices.
There is a lot of reason to question KBLb. But, as an investor I have no say, nor do you, or anyone of that matter.
I do not see the facts?
Maybe I'm missing something that is in public information. But, I am seeing sketchy blue sky and partial nuggets to allow us to fill-in what we want to see.
The best lies are the ones with a little truth spread in them.
Look at the Vietnam pictures. Three maybe four racks of cacoons, no warehouse of worms, no multi- rows of silk-producing moths churning out eggs, no employee's ready to change the industry. It seems to me, a huge facility was rented and only part of the warehouse that is being used is an office.
The signing pictures look as if another company loge was stowed behind the signing table( as if trying to hide). the sketchy-ness and cracks are starting to show for KBLB.
Oh, and the shareholders meeting was only lacking a juggler and dancing girls. A couple of spools of thread on a table, and thats the apex of KBLB demonstrating it's decades of work. Lacking in almost every way.
I know that you are a supporter, and believe strongly in this product. I too wish for-profit and a snappy bullet tuxedo, but I have to follow the facts.
So far... I waiting for the rainbow to show.
Unfortunately, I disagree.
I do hope that this is the calm before the storm. Seeing the price move to positive instead of slowly bleeding out would be nice to see.
Past experience with KBLB doesn't predict that will happen. Sad to see that chart proving that is the case. Although I have owned KBLB since the .08's, my expectations are much higher that .19 cents.
As for the resume' of the glorious leader Kim: I have seen many a lawyer, doctor, pilot, and accountant drive a business into chapter 7 because they belive they are smart and business is easy. Business is hard and a full-time obsession, and should be conducted as such.
Kim is trying to do to many things, focus on one and do that. The board that he has assembled is not goint to make that happen. No experience, no vision, no appitude, no industry connections to futher KBLB's produce placement.
This article is very incisive in its conclusions.
It does mention KBLB as an example of a pump and dump.
Most of the people on this board are forgiving of this broken toe style of management. The fact that members of this board are making excuses for why this company is not moving forward is telling.
The Board of Directors that have been put in place is beyond subpar. None of them have mass production experience, nor the corporate experience of scientific or industry credentials.
I want KBLB to make me a poop-ton of money and I would like to own some dragon silk. Working with Police and Firefighters; this material would be an impressive aid to these first responders. But, as long as KBLB is in the hands of the current management team there is more floundering in our future.
The "kool-aid" is flowing at a very intense rate. Is patience needed? That is nothing more than an excuse for lack of planning and production. 11 years to get into production? How is that a game plan?
The "goo" people have been at it for a shorter time and have made contracts with industry to help ramp up production and research. KBLB has a history of failures and excuses.
I give you that developing a new product and new material is full of start and stops, but this rolling train wreck of management is unfathomable for this long of a period.
The surprising events of constant buffoonery from management haven't lead to a takeover. Personally, I think that every investor would relish that opportunity to have KBLB run by a professional management team.
A functioning management team would free up the scientific side of the house to do what they do best.
Scientists are not good at running a company, and, to date, KBLB has proven that point.
Now that's funny ( best Larry the Cable guy voice)
Probably the best business advice on this board.
Been gone for a while, and KBLB is still Floundering.
CEO and the lame picture of these worms and cacoons are lame. It that all the eggs and cacoons that this first run has produced?
Why is this management team so quiet about that is happening with the production of dragon silk.
Is this like the titanic, and I have a $10,000 deck chair!
I was talking about Industry journals, not internet articles.
I believe that to be true. But, I don't care, I'm here to make money not join in the chant.
There are too many unknowns about production that are not being talked about. I hope that KBLB rules the world one day, but I need more of a real shot of KBLb of becoming a functioning company, and less of a lottery ticket mentality to re-invest in KBLB.
If you want my shares great, well, someone already did buy them Friday before the penny plunge. That would have been costly!
So, to all good luck! because you have poor business leadership.
I may not be good with spelling or grammar, which is so subjective it's hard not to fault the writer. Either way, " Bully" for your bucking the cult of KBLB, and having your own opinion.
I'm an investor, not a worshiper of stocks. It's pure arbitrage, buy it at one price and sell it at another, and hopefully, it will benefit me.
I have made money with KBLB; now, it's time to make more elsewhere.
KBLB is floundering, and the leadership is not leading nor following simple business practices. It's like they are planning to fail in the future.
So for me ... yup, a TURD
Or "a Dog with Fleas"-
Banana,
I think you're to close to KBLb to make a good decision on this stock.
I hope it does work for you and skyrocket to 4$. As for me I made my money and pocketing the cash and going to watch the show.
Maybe is Kim/Co ever make a plan and publish it to the world I'll jump back in, but today ( last week) "I'm out"
HAHAHA nice,We(?) did share something!
From an investment stand point.. Turd.
Dreaming of changing the world standpoint .. Meh possibly. But I'm here to make money; let Kim and company make spider silk. Along with everyone else.
enjoy! off to make money not hope for money
Is the kool-aid cherry or unicorn?
Sorry but I'm pulling out of this turd. It seems that I've been enthralled with the optimism of the board and the "home-run" dreaming of this collection of believers. KBLB is not the Astro's, and won't pull a stand up homer anytime soon.
The lack of grown-up leadership and 12 years of floundering in the market space is a glaring sign that all should run. Six years ago, this tech.world was groundbreaking. Now it's falling behind in production and vision. Nothing is happening that will make money flow into this company.
The probability of manufacturing fails is too high for the ongoing concept of production in the near-term while KBLB competitors aren't facing the risk of animals and all the infectious diseases associated with that ilk.
The overall bacteria strains are 80% of this silk strain, and work will be as strong and flexible as Monster silk. All without the risk of these worms getting sick or lost to china's reverse engineering.
That is why I'm done with this dream.
Is this an empty company or a hollow out skull of investors.
I have the feeling that the curtain is about to be pulled on KBLB. China and VN will steal the worms, or there will be a blight, and the modified worms will die.
I see no plan for the inevitable corp. Espionage if this product is as good as the hype is saying. The overall ineptness of KBLB business leadership, the disaster is close. ( soon very soon)
Luckily this board does not influence the stock price, just many people wanting to score big. I do, as well. But, I am going to have to put hope aside and deal with the realities of this Company. Until it shows some mature modeling for the next years I'm out at the next uptrend.
I'll wait without risk until a direction is established.
Ahhh!!
I hope so this is getting mind-numbing waiting; I just was forward-looking plans that I can understand, and attach my hopes to for the future.
How long can this go on!!! Up/Down and all around. KBLB is the bayou of stocks.
Are we talking split in a few months? It's been a while since we have had a stock split.
It's the slow bitter slide that keeps people in the stock. "one more day" - from Les Miserables
Another slide while waiting for the home-run.
Some of the prolific posters have suggested that we all do your diligence, so here is some. https://www.linkedin.com/in/kit-hammond-scheessle-85ab4675
This is Mr. Scheessle Daughter linkin account. Seems that she is a chairwoman of Gerette LLC. All in the family?
Seem that this is somewhat sketchy. Hope I reading this wrong.
No, At this point if you holding your in trouble. Damn'ed if you do and Damn'ed if you don't.
I sold and waiting until I see some direction and strong trending in this Stock of decades dreams.
Always been told it's not what was said, Invest in whats has been done.
Lame website
a few spools of monster silk
sketchy BOD ( although Mr. Scheesselemay have some manufacturing experience)
no product to show for over a decade of work?
How do I not sell this stock? Please, someone, enlighten me as to why I want to hold.
Seriously over ten years of promises and nothing to show for it. I want to hit the proverbial home-run, but my spidey senses are telling me to dump on the next pump!
Excellent read. To bad KBLB was not mentioned in that article, but I guess the article is about companies that are producing currently.
Can't these clowns make a decision that will benefit the company and the future of production?
Last thing this yahoo's need in another scientist on the BOD. Need a mover and shaker that will make this production happen.
How do you know that they have anything in the "pipeline"
It's not Spider silk that's in the pipeline.
Think China will produce this product first.
To stay on point
I changed my alias not to upset Money4nothing. TEXtile is my new moniker.
I still think that KBLB is in trouble and hope that Kim will relinquish the CEO status. He's not doing well in that position.
There is still science he can do, he's not a businessman with the connection needed to take this company into enterprise market place.
And no that board od director is not helping.
There needs to be a powerhouse player to make the connection that will carry KBLb into the marketplace.
Exactly! only Intelectual property, that may or may not be fully protected. 9 thrid world production facility).
True; it is what it is.
