What is happening with IOTC?
Are they making any kind of real progress adding customers?
Is anyone else concerned about the changing landscape of commercial real estate and how it will affect IOTC?
Is anyone concerned with Carol Downes accusations of Board improprieties?

Is there really any hope for this company at 11¢ a share?
"Link Labs has patented technology to form large-scale wireless Internet of Things networks that can communicate data with thousands of devices at reduced costs, with quicker deployment, longer battery life and more reliability than competing solutions including cellular, Wi-Fi, and Zigbee. Iota’s enterprise solutions heavily rely upon asset digitization and this technology acquisition will enable billions of Internet of Things devices to connect to the cloud, leveraging Iota’s spectrum licenses."
It looks like it! here is the article:
https://www.iotforall.com/press-iota-linklabs-patent-technology-acquisition/
Interesting mention - "IOTA #53 on Deloitte’s annual ranking of the fastest growing public and private technology companies in North America. "
"The companies on the 2019 Technology Fast 500 list are based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2015-2018."

Wow let's hope not. Let's hope it's finally found the bottom and comes up soon.
I hope you are right about where IOTC will be in a year...
Now at 31¢ it is tough to imagine
Thanks so much for such a clean and easy to follow history of the progression of this company. In my research, when I saw Barclay Knapp on board I was intrigued.
I read that-
"Knapp built up NTL to a high of 21 billion pounds in 2000 and then presided over a financial restructuring that almost wiped out the company share price."
So seeing him back after all these years attached to IOTA, makes me curious and hopeful. He at least knows what it takes to build a large comm company and also what it takes to ruin it. So he has great experience. I imagine that something like this for him would be an amazing legacy if he helps to pull this off and it becomes a huge success.
Your insight and current up to date comments helps to keep an eye on the future rather than the giant red number in my portfolio!!
Dilution concerns me...
Good news on licenses and stock down to .36¢ Seems to be counterintuitive...
madkapperaz- makes sense. too soon. And that also explains only 30 employees, low profile...RD stage would be low profile. No fanfare.BUT...
The Georgia school? Was that a prototype?
On the website they show they already work with Dept. of defense, and more. I guess that's why it's confusing.
If they are still in RD and don't have a product to sell...what did they do for the organizations they claim on the website?
That's the part that I don't get. It's like they market themselves as ready to execute... something. Of course in some areas where they have the licenses they are probably ready....for something. I'm just not sure what.
One other thing...this was not impressive:
During the fiscal years ended May 31, 2019 and 2018, we spent approximately $170,895 and $446,872, respectively, on sales and marketing.
That is just peanuts for a company of any size so this is concerning.
In terms of comparing IOTA to their competition- They seem to be hitting several fronts in unique ways.
this was a key take-away to me in the filing:
IotaLink will compete with other available over-the-air communication technologies in establishing low-cost, efficient and reliable connectivity for IoT. Notable technologies in the market include LoRaWan offered by LoRa, Sigfox, NB-IoT, RPMA offered by Ingenu, Weightless-P offered by Weightness, and Symphony Link offered by Link Labs. These technologies have garnered support from companies including IBM, Cisco, Texas Instruments, Huawei, Qualcomm, and other major cellular companies in the United States and globally. Compared to the more established competitors, IotaLink positions itself as a purpose-built wireless technology dedicated to IoT, in particular in the application of Smart Building and energy management.
Our technology is among the only technologies that operates on a dedicated proprietary network with licensed spectrum. It offers competitive coverage range in both the rural and urban areas and supports a wide variety of endpoint devices with low power consumption at an affordable cost. IotaLink also features comparable level of security similar to our larger competitors. By developing a proprietary over-the-air communication technology that is purpose-built for the 800MHz spectrum, we believe that we can achieve seamless and cost-effective data transmission to facilitate data analytics and energy management services.
KEY-
BrightAI will compete with other SaaS providers in the application of Smart Building and energy management. Competitors include Artis Energy, Actility, Aquicore, Carbon Lighthouse, Urban Volt, Relayr, Enertiv, BuildingIQ, and C3IoT.
The thesis behind BrightAI is to provide a low-cost, open, scalable and easy-to-use solution to the Smart Building and energy management service customers. Therefore, we plan to incorporate certain important features including building management system integration, third party application connection, data analytics and an environmental control and monitoring system all in one software platform.
KEY-
To our knowledge, no other major software platform in the market has achieved this. Despite intense competition in SaaS, we believe that our turnkey bundled service, which includes connectivity, data transmission, data analytics and service, will deliver more cost-effective solutions to our customers.
Including The market of solar engineering, procurement and construction.
It feels a little like watching paint dry right now....
Any thoughts?
Thanks madkapperaz for all your research and insight. It is really appreciated.
Thanks Wild Alpha!
I'm long on this. There are so many positives I can see down the road for sure. And many positives about some of the founders that I have researched. Just oddball things that sometimes don't make sense to me. Like Why this company doesn't seem to hire anyone on hiring boards.Or no news in trade magazines. Very low profile....stealth like....
Thanks madkapperaz appreciate your insight.
Someone help me understand
IOTA COMMUNICATIONS INC (OTCMKTS:IOTC) had an increase of 31.94% in short interest. https://nbonews.com/commerce-bank-has-upped-its-starbucks-sbux-stake-shorts-at-iota-communications-iotc-raised-by-31-94/
Wow....38. Really did not expect that. I wish I could get a little reassurance.
Finally some word- https://www.iotacommunications.com/press-releases/
Amazon in the game on a different wave? Not sure what to make of if because I am honestly not that educated on the subject, but I thought this was an interesting article: https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/amazon-files-application-for-cbrs-tests-sunnyvale
"Amazon is among gobs of other companies that are eyeing the CBRS space. Last year, the company partnered with Federated Wireless, Athonet and Ruckus Wireless to build a private IoT network using CBRS to support things like real-time surveillance cameras and smart meters"
Not sure it has any bearing on IOTA or not. Any one smarter than me to comment? Seems that there is a lot of growing interest in the lower MHz licensing for similar reasons.
Sorry- keyStroke....not 30¢.,..¢40.
Strange coincidence. Exactly 1 minute after asking about Anterix and a huge sell off bringing the price down to 30¢. I'm sure it's nothing but it was odd.
Thanks Wild Alpha. Anterix - any comments on how they factor in?
Exactly how long has this company been around? Some of my research suggests since June 1998, others suggest only a few years. Thanks for any insight.
