In reality, I see it as a positive. I see it as Evan is going above and beyond to protect the shareholders. I hope he’s going to take the opportunity to dispel every piece of information that Hindenburg mis-contextualized in the report and put up the war banner to warn others who may want to conduct future short attacks.

I am at a lost too, and thank you for your legwork. I find it baffling why they would issue fake press releases quoting real people from the other companies given that information is so readily available nowadays and possible consequences (fines/lawsuits/prison sentences) that could result from it. I still find it hard to believe that it’s a shell company.

I really agree with this strategy. Granted there has been massive swings it’s nearly impossible to time it right. I started accumulating in early October the day that they made an announcement about working with Google in creating 3D ads. It traded sideways for a couple days and the POP. I know not to fall in love with companies but I am in love with this company’s vison, effectiveness of implementation, and their CEO Evan Gappelberg. This one is a Buy and Hold for me. I hope it continues to trade sideways even trend down for awhile, it will give me time to buy more.

Thank you! Oh I forgot to mention that Feb 5th (note we are 12 hrs ahead of EST) is probably the most important indication to see if this virus is “out of control”. This day will give clear indication, given the incubation time of 14 days and the fact that nearly 300,000 scurried away from Wuhan on Jan. 22. They took off after getting word of the lockdown, so got in their cars and left! The difference in “confirmed” from 2/4 to 2/5 will give clear indication as to how contagious it really is and how “out of control” the gov will perceive it to be. Good luck trading. Yes that was a week ago. I am in China now. It’s pretty quite where I am (shanghai) which is the equivalent of New York City here. I read an article today that backed by science that was suggesting the virus MAY NOT have originated from wet market after all. The virus is real, but outside the epicenter it’s quiet.

Thanks for the article Spoton. I currently reside in China (Shanghai) and haven’t heard much about this cure that the article refers to. The general public here are rather anxious and gov is trying to find ways to make a grim situation seem better. So in my humble opinion, this cure really isn’t a cure. Because if it was it would be pasted on everry front page newspaper around the world now. You see the man here, likes to play games with semantics and twist and mangle data to fit certain narratives. The number of infected are drastically increasing hourly, yet the deaths on the other hand has relatively slowed in comparison. I will tell you why... the death certificates are now listing different causes of death (I.e. flu, cold, lung problems), very rarely are they given the real cause being Coronavirus. Felt Compelled to Post... long time lurker here, I reside in Shanghai and can tell you that seeing one of these ES8’s on the road is breathe taking. I seen one the other day, it was sleek, the body was contour and beautifully designed. It’s genuinely a perfect complement of design and performance. I also downloaded the NIO app, it seems the Nio community is well engaged and the CEO, William Li is very interactive with the community there. Users are able to share pics of their lives that the Nio vehicle has brought them and mostly interact with fellow car owners, organize and plan community activities (canoeing, camping, playing cards, having road trips etc). An ‘outsider’ navigating thru this APP will quickly gain a sense of togetherness and have a desire to enter this exclusive club. I showed my gf some videos of the ES8 and frankly, she’s in LOVE, she wants to buy one!! We have been on YouTube researching the car and the company for the past 3 days. Anyways, thought I share with you guys from the ground floor. I sincerely believe that Nio will revolutionize the auto industry one day based on their attention to the customer and forward thinking abilities. I plan to visit the Nio House one day soon. Will let you all know how it goes!
