"I don't understand how 4000 shares traded can drop this stock price .07 cents!! Is that manipulation on steroids!!!! "
Actually, just a seller and no buyer.
For those of you who think $.90 or whatever isn't the "right" price, have at it. Move it up to the "right" level.
GLWT
I have not done any work on this company yet.
Just remember, the bird man pumped PRED to a disastrous loss for anyone who followed his "investment of a lifetime" spiel.
Do you really want to get burned again?
When he starts pumping, it has been correct to be selling along with him.
He is quite the indicator.
Did people hear the bird man telling someone who is bagged in PRED that he never told people to "buy this stock, that this counter should be included in every family portfolio, that this name was going to change your life forever (well, it did that, but not the way he touted it) and that anyone who didn't pile in with all of their available cash (and more) was really, really stupid and missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime"?
I didn't think he would say that, but just want to confirm.
"I heard the company might be going bankrupt???-any truth to that rumor?? "
Just watch the cash...that will be the final tolling. Last we saw it was seriously low, they were paying operating expenses with shares, and what little cash they could borrow was extremely expensive.
I would not be surprised if they try for one last hurrah by issuing 25 or 50 million shares at $.25 to $.50 just to stay alive.
Caveat: I don't really know the compan6y. Got interested when the pumpers, who are usually scammers, mentioned the name. Had someone look at their lab activities, And dug through the financials and looked at the management. Nothing i saw was particularly inviting.
" Come on Management..do something !!! "
Not sure management can do much of anything at this point.
If we assume they are legit, they still have to have cash. Maybe sell a few million shares.....like 25 or 50 Million... at $.50 or $.60 cents and raise a little cash.
Is that where this counter in headed?
"The problem with the bear argument in pred is pretty clear.
Their allegation is that this is a pump and dump. But, the people who are involved are already very rich. Sorrentino, Barhorst and the rest are already successful and very well off. So, why would they get involved in a pump and dump? To make a couple of million more? Not likely. A couple of million more to those guys is nothing, and the risk of going to jail is quite something.
Once we understand that, the rest of their argument falls apart pretty quickly. We know this isn't a sure thing. That's why we're here. You get paid to take risk in the markets. But in this case we think the market has misvalued that risk. There is far less risk than is priced in."
I got alerted to a potential pump and dump because the bird man was involved. He was saying put ALL of your money in this stock and you will retire wealthy. Now he says he was wrong and to get out. Okayyyyy.....
Anytime he is involved, i like to find a place to get short the pump.
Then, i sent people to look at the PRED Labs. Typical leased lab space. There was definitely nothing special going on.
Then there is the stem cell issue. Enough said.
Then i saw that management had been involved, but not found guilty, of some shady activity. Really? Not my cup of tea when there are so many other quality situations.
And finally, i looked at the Balance Sheet and saw 1.) How they valued assets on intercompany transfers (Big Red Flag) 2.) They are burning cash (and subsequently paying bills with shares) and are almost dry and 3.) they are paying out the nose for funding and nobody will apparently take a chance with lending to them at market rates.
Then, along comes Thomas. Another Pumper who admitted to getting paid in stock.
All told, there were a lot of red flags and the product portfolio was nothing others hadn't already achieved. I.E. Competition.
" A lot of people have gone silent after my last post. What the hell"
It does seem that there are fewer people posting about this stock.
Maybe they have taken their losses and moved on, never to be reminded of this painful experience.
They say your fist cut is the best sale .Virtually everyone who still owns the shares is buried. Sure, there will be someone (many?) who claim they just bought the shares at $.80 or something. That would likely be untruthful.
" market-maker PAUL has bought millions of shares on behalf of large/institutional shareholders"
Which institutions would that be?
Many Bio Techs do a secondary into a move like this. For a company that needs cash, i wonder if they will react and take advantage of the moment.
" Stellar BoD, Mgmt team, and partners. I will possibly have a concern if negative occurrences come about from someone with credibility."
Stellar Board which is running the company into the ground. How does that fit with success?
See the piece on stem cells last night? Not good.
And then there is the issue of cash with which to pay the bills. They don't have much of it, and the sources which are available to them are very expensive. I would guess they will have to sell shares soon,...and LOTS of them in order to stay alive.
Still think they have a "great" management team ( some of whom have checkered pasts, been moved out of big companies, and have brushes with the law).
" taking shares back out from the broker and placed to the Transfer agent in Book Entry form
The shares cannot be sold or borrowed against in this form "
I do not believe this is correct. Shares at DTC can be sold just as if they were at the broker. They exist at DTC in name, and when they are sold instructions are issued to Deliver Versus Payment (DVP) for the shares.
Happens millions of times every day.
Takes cash to keep the lights on.
Where are they going to get it?
And soon.
Cash...is all but gone.
$841,000 left...even after paying $5 Million in Compensation with shares.
Basically?
You do the math.
I now care at $.30 or so.....before i look through the balance sheet to see what the tangible assets might be.
Well, that is interesting.
Publish anything here which asks about where Thomas went after pushing the great things to come at PRED, and it gets promptly deleted.
Wonder why that is?
Clearly he was wrong, but why is someone protecting him while investors lose a ton of money?
" We all think there is a TMO partnership? Is there? I think so, why hasn't it been announced? "
As long as PRED pays for the goods they receive from TMO, they have a "partnership"
No money? No partnership.
Pretty simple actually.
Reverse Long....LoL
" ... something is desperately wrong here"
Really?
All you need to do is look at the balance sheet and see that they are broke. Paying current expenses with shares is never a good sign for a company's ability to operate as a going concern.
" I thought Institutions wouldn’t buy on the QX - not true?"
Certain institutions will buy regardless of the exchange on which the shares are traded.
Many of the larger institutions/mutual funds must see the shares trade on a "national exchange" and not see the share price lower than $5.00
For certain, if there is value in the shares, institutions of some sort (hedge funds, for example) will find the shares and bring them on board.
" You know what they say about degenerates right?"
So, the shorts took $4-$5 out of the stock, and the longs are mostly well underwater.
But the shorts, who are long gone and looking for a new entry point, are degenerates.
Okay...
Cavalry arrived....few months later than the bird man said it would, but seemed like a good reversal day yesterday. Today will tell if it follows through, or flounders once again.
I think i missed my $.50 buy, but time will tell. They still need to get cash to stay in operation. Can only pay people with shares for so long.
Stay tuned, but looks better.
Thetalus Capital...AUM ?
So, they commissioned themselves to do an investigation?
That whole statement is weird.
Everything surrounding this company seems to be weird.
Interesting to be a casual observer. Haven't ever seen one like this.
Between the financial report and the FDA Concerns, the shares seem, at this rate, headed into my Buy Zone around $.50
I wonder if they will have to sell stock in order to get cash?
Just my luck they bounce at $.60 and i don't get a share.
" not sure if I agree (but am open to be convinced otherwise). They have been touting NASDAQ for months. Going to QX sends a message that NASDAQ is unattainable at this time - doesn't necessarily instill confidence. Shorts are going to exploit this to create even more FUD. After last week, its apparent shorts are going to continue to hold this down - Reverse Split seems like the only option to me."
NASDAQ is a dead horse. That's the reality, regardless of the rumor.
Reverse Split...the shorts are foaming at the bridle for such an event. Sell fewer shares for higher price, accomplish same goal. Not to mention that historically when damaged companies have reverse split their shares they typically come for sale.
"Also, from my experience...the selling we saw yesterday EOD and this morning indicates the seller is out of their last shares and bottom is in and reversal upwards begins.
Incredible news the past 2 weeks and we know where PRED is heading. The science and revenue numbers can NOT be denied."
So, there you have it. Bottom is in. Seller is done.
How many shares was it that management owns?
or:
" almost to the buy zone?.60-1.00 "
"The reason company is slow bleeding is because it is not worth $380 millions in market capitalization based on $40 millions in revenues and $8 millions in losses... imo, at most it maybe worth $120 - $160 millions based on three to four times revenues. Stock pps is adjusting to reflect its proper value..imo "
...and then there is the balance sheet and the race to zero cash.
Ouch
Trade the fundamentals. Discard the emotion and the glitz. Shares appear to be expensive by any reasonable measure. The sellers (insiders?) seem to know that. Market cap; not share price.
" The feeble reaction to the PR looks incredible to me. "
Tis better to travel than arrive.
This "news" has already been priced into the shares. Old trade rule: Buy the rumor; sell the news.
Shares likely down on the day at this pace. Maybe. No-one left to buy? Shorts long since took their $3-4 and ran?
" One only needs to ask this question why would a stinky pinky penny stock spend millions on hiring 1 of the top 4 accounting firms DELOITE & TOUCHE for what? Is it so they can waste a bunch of money?
And why would D&T even waster their time with such a small company?
OR is it because they have HUGE PLANS coming together?
Or is it because D&T sees a very profitable venture? "
Why?
Because one of the outside hires knew someone/about Deloitte from their previous employer. Go back and see which one of the former employers used Deloitte and that will tell you who, of the new "senior hires", brought in Deloitte.
It is no more complicated than that.
And no, there is no super, duper global business growth/expansion which is being revealed by this hire. It is simply professional friend to professional friend.
Everything you need to know about this company is right here: $1.55
That price digests everything that is known, both public and private.
Year high was $6.91
Year Low was $.77
" I agree..some just don't know how to read financials..lol
If company had paid stock compensation in cash, there would be a negative cash flow..just accounting gimmicks..imo "
Yup. Seems like most here don't know how to read a financial statement.
Nothing says confidence quite like capitalizing operating expenses.
" 143MM Assets "
Yes, so the figures say. But what are those "assets"?
Reminds me of the days when media companies bought libraries of films and capitalized them at values which were, to say the least, extreme.
Look, i have no ax to grind in PRED. I have NO Position. I would be a buyer at a price...a complete gamble below a dollar...maybe $.50
But, IMHO you all need to have a more criteria eye toward what you think you own. Your guy Thomas, who seems to be clever/rational, also must be regarded as someone who has an ax to grind (he will of course deny this). He/His firm gets paid if they get the share price up. That is the plain and simple truth. They have a reason, regardless of whether the fundamentals are good or bad, to get the share price up. Then, like the bird man, bye bye birdie.
" Actually much better than earnings, cash flow positive by the tune of $3.5 million for the year, incredible! If you understand how businesses and corporations operate."
Desperate companies do desperate things.
Capitalizing current operating expenses so you can appear to be cash flow positive is a pretty shady thing to do.
The question is why they would do such a thing if they believed in the future of the company and it's businesses.
This company does not pass the smell test. Perhaps that is why the shares continue their death spiral. Clearly no-one was fooled yesterday by their attempt to spin the financial report.
' .....thanks for the laugh "
No problem. Like i said, time will tell whether anyone can make money with this counter.
Given the speculative nature, i personally have no position at these prices and will look to pick up a punt below one dollar. Maybe around $.50 or so....
" .interesting to note numbers add to credibility yet not one post from the perma bear RL since earnings release? "
She'll be back. Numbers were pretty fugazy with what they did with shares in lieu of paying employees. That takes time to decipher. Payables also increased more than cash. Co is technically bankrupt, as they have been all along based on the balance sheet. Give it time...truth will out one way or another.
There is absolutely NO, NADA, ZERO chance that this company would be accepted for listing on the NYSE.
Further, as someone who has worked with many companies looking to list on a public exchange, i would discourage PRED from listing on the NY even if it was possible. It is not.
So, Thomas, the Art Guide is not rolled out yet in the second half of 2019 as they said they were aiming? It is October; will it go full roll out this year?
TIA
" great videos, thank you for sharing "
Very creepy. Never trust someone who doesn't look you (or the camera) in the eye when speaking. Thus is but one of things which the FBI looks for in judging the veracity of their interviewee.
While i hope not, these guys give all the "airs" of being scummers. The share price reflects it.
Maybe list on the HK Exchange. It would be a $12.00 stock at these levels. Almost sound legit.
Who margins a stock which trades for a buck?
" So what exactly is the truth about this company?
Please elaborate."
The truth is that it is a $1.60 company down from six or seven bucks.
Typical Pink Sheet stock and company.
Very risky, but that is why it trades for pennies in the pinks.
I have NO position. If i can pick it up around $.50 i will take a punt. Otherwise just a spectator in an epic battle of facts, rumor, longs, charlatans, shorts and poor individuals who have been crushed and can't bear to cut their significant losses.
" PRED has increased their revenues for THIRTY THREE (33) MONTHS straight. 11 Quarters is 33 months. And their business model is absolutely profitable."
What if the "revenue" is just intracompany transfers.....one division selling to another division? And goodwill increased on the balance sheet to cover the losses?
What if ???
" PRED - Counterparties are international corporations mentioned by PRED in any press announcement(s). Individuals within those counterparties include those entity's public relations departments and their in-house attorneys to verify, edit and approve that the content of PRED press announcements adheres to agreements, does not breach confidential data, etc., All these corporate departments have to sign off on statements if they are mentioned or referred to by name.
PRED is a public company and complies with formal and contractual protocols. The same protocol was adhered to by Thermo Fisher (TF had to obtain PRED's formal written approval in their press announcement), Preeclampsia Foundation, and any other prior PRED press announcements.
One international conglomerate is determining who within their hundreds of senior management will be identified by name or if anyone need be mentioned because there will be more details announced over the coming weeks.
Do any of you recall Elon Musk's SEC sanctions ?
Surely you jest ?
One day PRED has superior management (in spite of some having been investigated for some very serious crimes) and the next they don't seem to know anyone who can make a deal (and a press release) happen at something faster than the speed of a glacier.
There is a reason PRED trades at $1.75 in the Pink Sheets. Both are quite appropriate for this company.
( I have no position in PRED. I am looking to buy in the "less than a dollar range" as a speculative investment on the off-chance that they survive. Yes, people have been laughing at me all the way down from 6 or 7 dollars.)
What if the "news" on PRED is already out?
Just something to think about.
There doesn't always have to be "news".
Maybe the company has said what they have to say, and there is noting more at this time.
Clearly, if actions mean anything, they have spoken quite loudly.
